“Hey Gideon I'm home—is that a human baby?” Honest John asked, dumb struck. Nearly dropping the take out bag from Ursula’s fish and chips in his shock. 

Because yes, his cat companion was holding a tiny red headed human baby. 

One that was most certainly not there this morning when he left.

“Yes. I was thinking of naming her Julianna.” Gideon didn't look up from the cooing baby, as he continued to play with it's hands. 

Not noticing the look on his partner’s face. 

“No. No! Absolutely not. We are not keeping that thing!”

“But it's for us!” The cat whined. The baby mimicked him. 

“I seriously doubt that. Where did you get it?” The fox replied, rolling his eyes.

“Some man came by to pay off that Green Woman’s debet.”

John's eyes nearly jumped out of his head at that. 

“And you accepted it?! What happened to only taking trades and money?!”

“It was the baby or us being empty handed.”

“We wouldn't have been empty handed for long if you just waited! Now put your coat on! We're going to find that green woman and the man and return it so that we can get an actual payment.”

“What is it Julie?” Gideon asked, wrapping an arm around her. 

“There's an angry mob outside…”

I was rewatching someone play wroef and just noticed that the song Molly hears when she's sneaking up on the sailor, he's singing ' What Shall We Do With The Drunken Sailor'.

Which gave me the fun headcanon that Molly might like sea shanties.

Here's a couple of my smaller, more lighthearted hcs for the finches :)

i think Sam and Dawn got Gus a pair of Doc Martens at some point. They came out in the 60s and were still cool around the time Gus died so I think he would want a pair. Maybe he would like the red ones. History source: my dad who was born the same year as Gus lmao

Barbara liked to cook and bake and would make stuff at home and Calvin and Sam would probably steal cookie dough or batter or frosting from her when she was cooking

Gus kept trying to teach cuss words to Edie's bird(s)

Milton and Lewis liked to play make believe a lot and their games usually involved them being kings and/or princes

Lewis has a good singing voice and used to sing to Edith sometimes

Summary: The Utoniums move to Gotham and meet Gotham's most beloved family.

For @verieriberries based on this post. Sorry I tried. I'll do my best to add more later.

“The City of Gotham. It's home to some of the top research labs in the world.” Professor Utonium said, driving the family station wagon to their newest address.

“Yeah, but why are we moving there?” Bliss mumbled displeased from the passenger’s seat as Gotham came into view.

“Well, I took a job offer at Wayne Enterprises’ lab. And we have to move here for me to work there.”

“Oh. That makes sense.” Blossom piped up from the backseat, looking up from her book.

“Well, I think it sounds stupid.” Buttercup huffed. Arms crossed.

“Now that's something I can agree with.” Bliss muttered in agreement, before putting her headphones back on.

All while Bubbles looked out the rearview mirror with Bullet and Bunny, all of them sporting frowns as Townsville got smaller and smaller the closer they got to Gotham.

“....Bye-bye, Townsville…” The blonde sighed, sadly, holding Octi close to her chest.

“And if what I’ve heard is true, Gotham is a great place to live.” Professor added, trying to sound reassuring.

Who gets along with who in the Wayne-Utonium household and who fight like cats and dogs?

I love your idea that Damien and Bubbles are besties because of their love of animals and their artsy nature. Does Damien like Bullet the Squirrel?

bubbles and cass dance together and bruce melts every time

buttercup is on the fence about damien but they band together to annoy a mutual enemy: jason

blossom gets along well with tim and dick. she's a great listener and tim's very appreciative of that. she and dick kinda have that leader thing going on and they jokingly complain about jason and buttercup going against them

steph gets along with all the girls but mostly with buttercup

blossom and bubbles are civil with everyone while buttercup has gotten into so many fights with damien and jason

of course, this is all after they get to know each other well. their relationship was worse when the batkids were still their dad's pseudo-boyfriend's kids. both sets of children are very protective over their fathers and the ppg were definitely more protective due to the professor being a bit slow. they've also heard the rumors about bruce (blossom did an extensive internet search during their super duper important emergency meeting about someone flirting with their dad). so yeah, super vigilant and that extended to bruce's kids.
