Ever wondered what would be inside of my kikay kit? Have you ever thought “What are Lei’s essentials?” or “May Kikay Kit kaya si Lei?” Well if you haven’t asked yourself those questions, you must ask those questions first before reading on. HAHA! Kidding! 

I thought it would be about time for you guys to have a sneak peak on what I bring everyday. These are basically the things that I use, some of them I don’t use on a daily basis, but I I have them for emergencies. Like you know I don’t have brows on fleek and I suddenly need to go to an event, very imposrtant! HAHA! Anyways here you go guys, my kikay kit.

I know my pouch isn’t very girly looking, but it has so much space that I need. Yes I have a lot of things in my kit, that requires so much space. Another good thing about this pouch is that, it’s water resistant so I don’t have to worry that a product will spill inside of my bag. 

This is basically what’s inside my Kikay Kit. FYI guys, I don’t use makeup on a daily basis heck I don’t even use much makeup on my face. So you’ll see I have very little makeup products that I apply on my skin, because I’m going for a more natural look everyday and for me that means putting little makeup on or no makeup at all and that’s fine with me. Sometimes I do my makeup in the morning, and through out the day I just blot, spritz and apply lipstick. :)

First up are the things that keep me looking fresh and feeling fresh all day when I’m at school. I usually blot my oily face during lunch time, because that’s when I’m the most oily and I use Clean & Clear Oil Control Film. I love blotting paper because it just absorbs the oils on my face and not the sweat, and it doesn’t tear up easily. After blotting I spritz my face with my Rose face mist from Hello Gorgeous. I love how it smells like flowers, and the scent isn’t too harsh for my liking. I sometimes use it as my perfume as well, since I really don’t use perfume or colognes because of my allergies. And of course I carry around my Colgate Plax,  because Dental Hygiene for me it’s a must because you need to be feeling fresh. For me it’s more convenient having a mouth wash than carrying around a toothpaste and toothbrush.

Next up are some random makeup products that I carry with me around all day. My most used brow product as of the moment is the Nichido Clear Brow Gel. You guys must know that my brows are really thick and well full, so often times I just use my clear brow gel to tame my brows. But whenever my brows are newly threaded I use my Brow Duo Shaper by Maybelline, and if I feel a little bit fancy I use my Fashion Brow Palette from Maybelline as well. I have a spoolie with me that I got from Divisoria. I also have my San San HD Concealer with me, to hide of course my blemishes and scars. This concealer is by far my favorite, it conceals my imperfections and it’s affordable. I usually use it in the morning, and then set it with my Nichido translucent powder.

There is no such thing as having too much lippies in your kit! Where do I even begin with my lipsticks, lip tints and lip balms. I have two of each category, because... I have no explanation, but it depends on my mood on what I want to use. I use lipsticks in the morning, and use cheek tints at times. I am a mess. But my favorites here is the Baby Lips lip balm by Maybelline and JAM Tinted lip balm by Lip Mate. It’s basically an essential for me to have a lip balm because chapped lips for me is a big NO NO!

So these are the swatches of the lipsticks, lip tints and lip balms that I carry around. 

And the last few things in my kit are these. I have my sanitary pad, just in case you know.... I have this little perfume, that my cousin gave me. I haven’t used it all up, cause again I have allergies but it just smells so good! I also have my brush that I got from Divisoria, I love this brush because when you turn it around it has a mirror. It’s really convenient for me to carry it around, my friends also like this brush because they often use the mirror side of it. I should have an alcohol or a sanitizer  in this picture, but I couldn’t find mine (OH WELL).Lastly in my kit I have my Guardian Angel, given to me by one of my close friends since High School. I always have it with me wherever I go. :)

ALOE There!

Aloe Guys! Hope you got the pun right there. If not just don’t mind it. I’m here to share with you guys some Aloe Vera products that I found. Many girls out there have been in love with aloe, and these things have been selling out like crazy in every beauty store. 

Aloe Vera is one of natures amazing plants that helps us cure certain skin damage like sunburn for instance. People also use aloe on their hair and of course faces to treat wounds, blemishes, soothe the skin and treat the hair. 

Just a little disclaimer I am not a dermatologist or even a certified beauty consultant for using these products. These products may work for me, but may not work for others. It’s still best too consult a doctor for your questions and inquiries about the skin. Again I AM NOT AN EXPERT.

Having said that....Here are the products that I found that are ALOE-RIFIC! 

1. ALOE GEL and ALOE MIST

This Aloe Vera Gel from Esfolio  is a great moisturizer for the face and body. I sometimes use it as my sleeping pack, and my skin just feels so relaxed, this product reduced some of my redness. I also use this on my body to moisturize my skin after taking a bath. My sister bought me this on BEAUTYMNL so you guys can check that out. The Organics Aloe Vera Face & Body Mist from Bench (Php. 219.00) is a great pick me up. I use it whenever I need to refresh myself after a class. Whenever I don’t wanna use my aloe gel I use this, since it’s easy to use and it dries faster and my skin just loves this stuff! Which reminds me I have to restock! 

2. ALOE MOISTURIZING CREAM

This Aloe Moisturizing Cream from Miniso was the first ever aloe vera product I tried. This is a pasalubong from my sister when she got back from China. I know there are some Miniso stores here in the Philippines, though I’m not sure if they have this here. Anyways this product is a really great moisturizer that also calmed my redness, and of course I love how it smells! So clean! So Fresh!!

3. ALOE VERA FACIAL WASH

I just really wanna thank my sister for buying this ALOE VERA Facial Wash from Nature Republic (Php 200.00++)  I am currently using this product, and I swear that this wash is the bomb! I love how it smells, and whenever I use it I noticed that my skin doesn’t have that tight feeling after washing my face. I feel moisturized and fresh!

4. FACE MASK

Face Masks have always been my favorite, I think aloe vera face masks has been in the market for a long time now, and it’s not really new to me to use an aloe vera face mask. This face mask from Nature Republic is a good one. I love the cooling sensation it gives whenever I put on my face. I’m sure that almost every face mask that I’ve tried that are aloe based hasn’t failed me yet.

Hey Guys!! I’m gonna be doing a haul today! HURRAY!

A few weeks ago my sister and I went online shopping on SEPHORA and BEAUTY MNL. Well she did most of the shopping and paying, I just did the suggesting of what to get and what I want. Yeah my sister spoils me.. Anyways she bought so much stuff, and I wanna share our experience.

We just got a few skin care products, beauty products and freebies!

Starting off with our haul with BEAUTY MNL. We just got a couple of things..

Let’s talk about first the service of BEAUTY MNL. It was okay, the delivery took about 2-3 days. But guys! BEAUTY MNL has a lot of brands to offer, and I really do mean a lot! You can also buy great stuff here from skin care products to makeup!! For me personally the prices here are cheaper than the one’s I’ll see in the store, and they really have great products to offer. BEAUTY MNL even has sales and discounts from time-to-time, so you know what to do!!

For the products I love two things here the SKIN GENIE LIP AND CHEEK STAIN and the PIT PERFECT UNDERARM SCRUB. I’m currently using the lip and cheek stain in the shade tramp, and I gotta say it’s really good. I have been getting compliments whenever I use this on my lips and cheeks, it’s just the right shade. Did I mention Skin Genie has a lot of shades of the stains? Well they do! It’s best to use a lip balm first before applying the stain, and just dab it on your lips (DABBBB! don’t swipe!) for that natural finish. A little goes a long way for this product, and it just smells so good! It smells like candy!

For the Pit Perfect Underarm Scrub, I would say that Php 200.00 isn’t so bad! The product smells great and, really has this like beads or grains that can scrub off the dirt. My underarms thanks Skin Genie for this product, because my pits have never looked so nice and felt so smooth. I also use this scrub on my knees and elbows, it works just as fine. After using the product my skin just feels so smooth and silky! I love these products from SKIN GENIE!

This might be a surprise to you but we really did just get a few items on SEPHORA, but we got a lot of freebies!

But whenever I have the chance to buy stuff here I grab it. I love th lip balm! It’s so cute and it smells amazing! As for the rest of the freebies, I am yet to try them all with my sister! Sephora is a great place to shop, so you know if you have the greatest job and have enough for some therapeutic shopping then just go go go!! Sephora gives great products, service and the bomb freebies!

Hey guys! I am back with a review from one of my favorite brands Maybelline. We all know that most of us girls and girls at heart would do anything for those brows to be on fleek! Kilay is life, am I right? Brows frame our faces and absolutely makes us different from one another. 

If you are looking for a brow product that could bring your brow game on then you should try Maybelline’s Fashion Brow Palette. If you are going for a more polished look than this product is your best bet! 

It comes in this small compact and I believe it comes in two different shades of palettes. Lucky for us Maybelline is on Sale right now until June 30,2017! Just go to their FB page right now to see their great deals! This product is now only Php 216.00 it’s originally Php 316.00. I think all of there brow products is on sale. So you know the drill! *wink* 

The darkest shade in the palette is the wax type that you will use to outline your brows. Remember to use short strokes and just use a little bit of pressure when applying this because it’s very pigmented! The second shade is a powder type and lighter than the first. You can use this to set your brows, so the wax will stay on your brows. Sometimes I even you this as eye shadow. The last shade is for concealing the edges of your brows  so it will look precise and defined. 

BOOM! My brows looks on fleek and I look fierce. To test out the product for myself I used it on the day we were going to Divisoria to do something shopping. (YES I SHOP AT DIVISORIA!) Imagine a place that’s very crowded and the pollution around me was just amazing. So sweat and maybe some tears were shed, because of walking all the walking we had to do. 

Well after 6 hours of wearing makeup. My foundation was gone, but my brows... My brows were still looking fabulous! I really love this stuff! 

You guys should better get your hands on this because it’s the BOMB when it comes to having your brows on fleek! Don’t worry guys I’ll be featuring or trying out other Maybelline brow products that can give me natural looking brows.

To my 19 year old self and friends this is for you.

Hello there! I bet you feel old right now since you’re 19 years of age. I know the feeling. I guess you might be feeling happy, scared and confused because you’re in the middle of being an adult and being a teenager.People would’ve expected you to be more responsible with your life choices and act like an adult, but then again you just want to have fun like a kid and a teenager. It’s your last teenage year, and I hope you’ll make the most out of it. Don’t just do the usual things this year,  be bold and brave and get out of your comfort zone! You’re only 19 once, might as well have a great year for you. But with having fun and all, don’t forget your responsibilities, which is your studies! Most of us think that having fun and having good grades is a big pain, but I tell you with time management , good study habits and no procrastination you’ll be able to go out on a Friday night with no worries of submission the following week.

I think at this age it’s all about balancing everything that you do and discovering your center. Know what you want to do in life and just follow your passion. Know who you really are, so when someone judges you it wont matter because you know the truth about yourself. This year focus on yourself, really take good care of yourself starting from within. Don’t be afraid of loving yourself more than others, because you can’t give the love to others if you don’t love yourself first. But I think with loving yourself, you must also love God. He will guide you through this new journey of life. He will never let you down this year, and I hope you don’t let Him down as well. Make Him your center and you would not be lost.

So, remember that this year you are 19 and I hope you:

Get out of your comfort zone

Be a responsible young adult

Know your priorities

Discover your center

Follow your passion

Love yourself

Love God, and follow Him

And don’t forget that there’s always something good with seeking who you really are and those who are really there for you. Have people who will help  you grow as a better person, and who will love you no matter what. Have a great journey ahead!

Summer is here and I just couldn’t wait for it to come. I want to make an adventure of my life starting now. I want to chase the sun, so I could see the most beautiful sunrise and sunset. I wanna catch the waves to feel that I am one with ocean. I want to be happy this summer so that I could feel free, so that I can capture amazing moments just like this one. We only have one life and yes that’s true, but I hope we all choose to watch the magnificent sun, rising to see a better day. The sun for me is a reminder that better days are coming, and that not a single day goes by that you should waste it. You wouldn’t want to miss out the beautiful blue sky, white fluffy clouds and warmth of the sun. This summer I hope that you do something better for yourself, something different that can and will change you for the better. Don’t be afraid to get a tan line or a sunburn, be afraid of missing out an adventure. Be afraid of missing a spectacular moment that later on you can share with others. While you’re on your adventure don’t forget to smile and have a kind heart because it’s always good to meet people and leave a wonderful place happy. I hope this summer you have a good one. Remember there’s always something good.

I know that there are days when we just feel like the world is against us. We feel so down, that we only see the negative things that happen in a day. We often forget that for everyday there is always something good. I always say this to myself, may it be the smallest thing like waking up or eating the perfect meal. This was our family trip to Kwebang Lampas. Sorry for the late upload guys, and sorry for the low quality video (much stabilization was needed) it was such a beautiful and relaxing place! Plus my parents didn’t have to spend a fortune for us to enjoy the wonderful beach. If you want to experience camping on the beach for a very low price then maybe you should go to Kwebang Lampas.

This 2017 I plan to be more natural. Not only on doing my makeup but actually using organic products on my skin. We are very delicate creatures and I think it’s time to take care of myself in a more natural way. This year we all know that less is more, so that means less makeup on your skin is actually in. So for that I think we have to take care of ourselves more. You know do the usual things, drink 8 glasses of water, sleep early, eat vegetables and exercise on a daily basis. 

For sure every person dreams of having perfect skin, with no pores and pimples on your face, but that can’t be the case for some of us. Even if this year less is more and natural is the way to go there’s no harm on wearing a full face of makeup everyday. If that’s what you want girl/guy I support you on that! *high five* 

I found brands that could do just the trick for what I’m going for this year. I’m taking care of my face by using the products from Natureals  and Lipmate.

Natureals bath and body have a wide range of products. They offer organic and hand made products by the owner herself. They have soaps, masks, lotions and many more. What I love about their products is that it’s affordable and hand-crafted. They even make perfect gifts you guys! So you know if you want to give someone special some soap on valentines you know where to buy! *winkwink* 

Lipmate offers products for our lovely lips. They have different types of lip scrubs, lip syrups, and they even have their lash lengthening serum which I love! These products are organic and hand crafted as well. I just love the smell of their products, and trust me when I say that a little bit of their products goes a long way, plus they are affordable. This is also a perfect gift this coming valentines to get those luscious lips out there or just maybe get them for yourselves. Love yourself is a good idea.

Pink Off shoulder- It was a Christmas gift from my BFF Ayeska. I just love it! Although I haven’t asked her yet how much it is and where she got it.

Pants- You won’t believe it by I got my pants from Divisoria for only P 460.00. It’s actually pretty great! Considering it’s brand is FOREVER 21. 

White Sneakers- I also got my sneakers from Divisoria for only P350.00 and btw it’s leather. So I won’t be scrubbing and scrubbing my sneakers just to keep them white. 

Nine West Rose Gold Watch- It’s my sisters watch and I just decided to borrow it from her because it looks so cute with my top. Thanks ate!

Last Christmas our family went to Batangas. My parents decided that we all need a relaxed atmosphere this Christmas. We stayed at the Pontefino hotel which was beautiful and simple.

A few weeks ago my family and I went to divisoria to do some Chrsitmas shopping. Yes, we go there almost every year just to buy our “pamasko” or sometimes just even gifts. I don’t think it’s a bad thing getting cheap gifts for the people you want to give too, it’s the thought that counts remember. 

So, I went to divisoria and bought gifts there and it was so awesome, I also bought some things for myself of course. (Maybe I’ll do a haul about it). This is just some of the moments when we were going to divisoria, I was terrified to blog while in divisoria because my phone might get snatched because there were a lot, as in a lot of people there!

My Acne Story

Since I hit puberty at the age of 13 I started to get a few pimples on my face. But of course it grew and became acne because of the sleepless night due to school and social media. I did many things to my face just to find the right cure for my acne. I went to dermatologists, tried and researched home remedies, I did everything and tried almost anything that seemed to cure acne.

Long story short I have acne then and I still have the bumps and scars to prove it. But just recently I have found a product that was suggest to me by a friend. She was also going through the same thing I was. Of course being in college you see a lot of people with flawless skin, and you’ll just feel ugly outside. You feel insecure and sad. I tried covering it up with makeup but it just made it worse. So, my friend suggested the AcneCare soap and I tried it. I was desperate to cure my acne so I bought it and tried it.

I got the AcneCare soap and acne drying lotion, this line also has an acne supplement. They claim to be the first company to have this sort of supplement in the Philippines.

The soap is just a clear rectangular shaped one. It has no scent, and it cannot easily be melted by water. What I actually do to save up the soap is to cut a small portion of it, and it could last for 2 weeks or even more. It has tea tree oil and bio sulfur that can fight off those pimples and still heal your skin. The product has instructions that say you should leave the soap on your face for about 2-3 minutes. While doing this my face actually felt slightly tingly sensation on the areas I had pimples, and after washing it off my pores are less visible! And my skin feels so soft and moisturized. I use the soap morning and evening, and sometimes I even bring it school so I can have a clean face after gym class.

After using my toner I put the acne drying lotion on my face. I just get a cotton ball dip it in the product and dab it gently on my face. But just to be sure that this will be safe for you to use, do the skin patch test first. Instructions are on the box of the bottle which is really handy and informative. The acne drying lotion is really amazing stuff! It smells minty fresh and it’s pink. It just dries up the pimple overnight. You can easily see that your pimple is already dry or smaller the night before. I only use this at night, and guys trust me when I say a little bit of this product goes a long way.

For me it usually takes about a week for a pimple to go away. But after using these two products, the pimple may go away within 2-3 days. I personally love this product, and a lot of people have tried this product and they are going crazy about it because it’s so effective. I’m not saying that you guys should try this because it works on me, I’m saying it’s an effective product base on my experience. If you’re hesitant to try these products you can always consult your doctor first.

Before using the product my face was just a mess. I had pimples all over my face and redness as well, especially on my cheeks.

After a week of using the soap and the lotion on my face, my pimples became smaller. I had smaller pores and the redness fades away. My skin actually got lighter, and I’ve gotten compliments on how my skin looks right now. So much better than before!
