So. Real talk. It’s been rough. Life has been kicking my ass. I thought I was out of a really bad slump months ago – and then life decided, “SIKE! You ain’t seen nothin’ yet!” So after a nearly cross-country move during a pandemic, my part of the world setting itself on fire, hating myself because of losing to my mental illnesses… among other little things that just compounded and put me in the dirt. I think I’m starting to actually be picking myself up. (Watch me jinx myself.) . Art was… nearly impossible to do. I’ve been sketching here and there – which I’ll share. But it was a vicious cycle of stressing too much to art but not making art adding on to the stress… on top of y’know. Everything. But maybe the coming of Inktober will snap me out of that; October usually cheers me up, it’s probably my favorite month of the year for a variety of reasons LOL. I plan to do my best to participate in Inktober 2020, but they also came out with a new thing called Inktober52. I’m hoping to start doing that consistently, too – though I guess like with everything else, this year has kinda screwed up their prompt list for this year. . Anyway! Here we go. Sketches that I’m not as ashamed of. I’ll probably post the derpy ones just so that I can see that making bad art – or I guess, art I’m not happy with – isn’t the end of the world. Like, I doubt anyone here is going to burn me at the stake for it xD . I’m sorry I’ve been gone so long. I probably lost a lot of what little following I had, and I completely understand.
