That's an interesting point. I think she could be powerful, maybe she could even surpass Percy's powers. She could have a power like my character... that is similar to suck the life out of someone or something like that, which would be bigger than Percy's since he can make people choke on their own blood if I'm not mistaken. But hers would be related to energy...it's like draining a person. This one would be awesome...just like the hability to mess with the time since she is also a Titan. What do you think? 🤔

Why are team green stans always the first to talk about how Nyra didn't fight in the books? In the books Alicent was a grown ass women beefing with a child. In the books Criston was with Rhaenyra since she was seven and was such a creep even Alicent pointed it out. In the books Helena is not a dreamer. In the books Aemond is always making weird ass comments about female genitalia. In the books nobody cheered at Aegons coronation and were asking for Nyra. In the books Rhaenys is Rhaenyras number one supporter. The best is "fat Rhaenyra" What about fat Helena and Aegon? Both Helena and Aegon were said to be fuckin ugly but Rhaenyra was said to be beautiful before and after she gained her weight. Anywayssss

We can learn a lot about D&D from these two quotes. The fact that one is demonized and protrayed as a narcissist (falsely) while the other is adored and praised.

Daenerys, who D&D decided to portray as cruel and descending into insanity from season 5 on, is written as acknowledging her suffering. However, she says that she endured by finding strength in herself. This view of her past shows how she understands that, while without her circumstances she wouldn't be where she is today, she knows it was unnecessary and awful. Her motivation for most of the show is ensuring that what happened to her doesn't happen to anyone else.

Sansa, on the other hand, outright thanks her abusers. It's one thing to acknowledge how one's trauma shaped you, but it's another thing entirely to thank those who harmed you. By thanking Littlefinger, Ramsay, and others, Sansa is basically saying that her past self needed to suffer in order to become useful. It's D&D basically saying that femininity and women in general need to suffer in order to become "strong".

By choosing to contrast how Dany and Sansa view their pasts and deciding to make Sansa the one the audience is meant to root for, D&D are condemning Dany's idea. They are saying that women shouldn't credit themselves for enduring trauma, rather they should be thankful to their abusers.

This is just one example for how Dany is punished for being active in her life and actively rebelling against her "place" as a woman. Sansa is passive and only acts out when helped by men until the very end of the show, when she has "earned" her active role. Even in her final ending, she asks a man, her brother, to be given the North. Dany takes the lead in her life as soon as she is able, and, even when she's Drogo's bridal slave, she learns how to gain some semblance of power over her life.

Dany is punished by the GoT narrative for being a proactive woman and choosing to condemn rather than thank her abusers. Sansa is rewarded for her passivity and thankfulness to her abusers. This an just one example of the underlying sexism in the show.

okay storytime! someone posted on twitter about how the netflix adaptation might make zutara canon, so I thought to myself “hmm, but what would happen to Aang then?“ and, being the craziest I could come up with, I said “what about him and Azula? I don’t ship it at all, but it would be hilarious“ as a joke. But then, as I kept thinking about it more, I realized it could actually work. Azula, the girl who has never been loved, and Aang, the guy that is basically love personified. And then I realized it really checked all my boxes. Enemies to lovers ✅ Healing fic ✅ Hurt/Comfort ✅ Redemption arc ✅ Dramatic shit ✅ guy I can relate to ✅ hot, evil and kinda crazy girl ✅ And more than that, it actually made sense, in actual canon. I always believed in Azula redemption, and if anyone could forgive her, help her, and even love her it would be Aang. Azula would be attracted to his power at first, who could be a bigger trophy husband than the Avatar? but eventually it would be his kind and caring nature, things that are so foreign to her, that she would fall in love with. And Aang has always been attracted to strong women, and the Avatar has always been attracted to Fire Nation women. Plus Azula would help balance him out. She‘d be good at the politics that he would definitely loathe, would keep him grounded when he’s being a little too good-hearted and could help him with the difficult decisions he struggles with. They’re both high energy and could go toe to toe in sparring and wouldn’t need to hold back, something that would probably be a huge stress relief for both of them, and whereas Katara was sometimes a little scared of him, Azula could never be. And there would be a certain beauty in Azula, the heir of Sozin, eventually bringing the Airbenders back into the world. Mother of a nation is definitely something she would be proud of, and she’d be sure to smack some sense into him the second Aang shows an ounce of favoritism towards one of his children, she knows all too well how that feels. They’re both prodigies, both smart and eager to learn, and with their opposing ideologies, they could spend hours talking and soaking eachother up. At first they‘d clash, of course, but over time they’d start to see the truth in eachother and I truly believe that through this they’d come to better understand the entire world they live in and it would help them establish a true balance. In a way, their relationship could mend the rift that sozin tore between Fire Nation and Air-Nomads. It’s such a tragedy that these two people that could have been so perfect for eachother wound up on opposite sides of a war, and it makes it all the more beautiful when, against all odds, they find eachother and say “screw it, we‘re gonna fall in love anyway“. And that‘s not even getting into the symbolism of Aang‘s scar, and the crazy hot sex they’d inevitably have.
