Grave Happenings Pg4
A few hours, later the group had returned to the hotel.
Johnny sat transfixed re-reading the last text he received from Amelia. He had sent a selfie of himself, Ash and Gunter in their costumes for their show and she had sent a reply back saying "you guys look brilliant! Proud of you!". Johnny swallowed at the last sentence. Suddenly, he heard crying. Buster had left to get a get a drink at the hotel bar, so it could only be...
"Gunter?"
The crying immediately ceased and Johnny bit his lip as he walked over the bathroom door and tapped on it. "Gunter?" He called again. There was more silence before he heard the lock click and the door opened to reveal a very puffy eyed Gunter. Johnny did not hesitate to wrap him into a hug. Gunter's sobs resumed and the two sank to the floor.
Meanwhile, Ash was sitting by the pool, her feet dangling in the water whilst she swiped through her gallery of all the silly selfies she somehow forced Amelia to take with her. Then she came upon the photos she took of Bandit's abode. She came to the one of the light house ans studied it.
Suddenly, realization hit and she quickly left the pool, making the bar her next destination.

Buster was halfway through his first glass of a fruity drink he'd forgotten the name of. He never was big on drinking, couldn't afford ot before, for one and he never cared for the taste. Eddie tried introducing him to a few drinks, and found a few choices the koala liked.
Amelia drank, not heavily on her visits, but Buster suspected she overindulged when she had worked a case particular gruesome. She often joked about her drinking habits, possibly to ease their worries, but they worried nonetheless. Rosita and Buster have both witnessed that her drinking habits only became severe when her PTSD was bothering her or sleep refused to come.
Buster glanced up and saw a bottle of Jack Daniel's on a shelf. He smiled as he remembered it was Amelia's preferred whiskey. He also allowed himself a chuckled when Amelia and the kids pranked him into drinking some. He felt as though his throat were fire.
"Buster!"
The koala jumped and spun on his bar stool to see Ash racing up. "What's wrong?" He asked as she hopped up onto the stool next to him. She then grabbed his glass and downed it as though it were nothing. She then slammed the glass down and turned to her father. "Bandit lied to us!" She said.
"What!?"
"He told us that the operation was taking place in some abandoned warehouse, right?"
"Yes?"
"He lied! The warehouse is a decoy!" Ash showed him her phone. The photo of the lighthouse and the post it notes beside it. She read aloud. "Main lab, lighthouse beacon room! Changing of the guard at 1900hrs, only entrance air vent shaft north side of building. Cells and cages kept under lighthouse, basement door to south!" Ash scrolled again. "And look at the date he's planning to go, Dad!"
Buster gasped. "That's today's date! Let's see, 1900hrs, that's 7 o'clock! It's 5 now. We have just enought time to catch him there!"
"I'll call us a few cabs!"
"Wait!" Buster cried before she could run off. "This isn't like anything we've ever dealt with, kid."
"Dad, you said so yourself. We're finishing aunt Mia's last mission. We have to do this for her."
"But, Ash! This is dangerous! These aren't agressive critics, this is life or death!"
Ash smirked. "Like we haven't been in one of those situations before."
Buster couldn't help but smile.
"I'll call the others!"
_____________________________
Exactly 20 minutes later, the group was in two separate cabs, driving on the outskirts of London, arriving closer to the water front. Busyer then ordered the drivers to stop just a few minutes walk from their destination.
Thunder rumbled above as clouds gathered.
Buster watched the cabs drive away before turning to face his friends. "Okay, guys, last chance... after this point, no going back."
Surprisingly, it was Rosita who stepped up. "As long as we're all agreement, to stay safe and NOT take matters into our hand hands."
Buster shook his head. "Not this time, Rosita. The stakes are too high. Here's the new plan, we wait for Bandit, we confront him and we'll go with the plan that was originally for tomorrow. Police come, shut this thing down, and we'll have finished the mission that Amelia..." Buster frowned as acceptance settled into his chest like a rock. "...that Amelia died for." With a heavy paw, he put it out. The others stacked their paws atop each other before rising them to the sky where the storm gathered.
They walked the remaining mile and came upon their destination.
The lighthouse seemed to be in disrepair, it's outside wall was crumbling. The light beam above had long since been put to rest. It sat upon a cliff, where Buster could hear the waves crashing and he shuddered to think what bodily damage could done if anyone's was unfortunate to fall towards them.
Suddenly, the sky broke and the rain came.
Seeking shelter, in a nearby hedge over looking the lighthouse. Buster peered out and saw two heavily armored deer standing in front of a rickety door, each holding a long barrel gun.
Gravel shifted and the group turned their heads and saw the familiar dirtied shoes of the Bandit.
Buster snapped his fingers and Johnny shot his arm through and grabbed Bandit by the collar and pulled him through the hedge.
Bandit looked shocked. "How the he-"
"Language." Rosita warned.
The group looked to her and she shrugged. "Force of habit." She said as she remembered all the times she's had to correct Amelia on her swears.
"What are you doing here!?" Bandit yelled.
"Finishing off our friend's mission!" Gunter snarled.
"Why'd you lie, ferret!?"
"Maybe cause I didn't want the blood of idiots on my paws!" Bandit argued.
"You've got some explaining to do!" Meena said.
"I ain't gotta do-"
Just then, several pairs of hooves grabbed and drug the group from their hiding spot.
Johnny glanced up in shock as he wiped mid from his face.
Since when was a deer stronger then a gorilla, he thought.
The deer looked over the bunch before his sights landed on Bandit who sat in the mud, staring, unblinking.
The deer reached out a hoof.
And to the group's absolute horror, Bandit accepted it and allowed the deer to pull him from the mud.
"All right, there, Bandit?" The deer asked.
"Yeah, thanks, Felix."
"You're late, but I can see you were a little tied up."
The Bandit smirked. "A couple new test subjects. What do ya think? Think Ronno will approve?"
One of the deer looked the group over. "Ronno will be pleased."
Bandit snapped his fingers. "Great! Do me a favor and throw 'em in the cage, will ya, I got a meeting with your boss! Ta, ta!" With that, he turned tail and walked towards the entrance.
Buster watched in absolute terror as the weasel disappeared from sight for what Buster could guess as the final time.

Rewatched Bad Guys and was inspired by the scene where Diane saves the crew from prison, but gets her suit cut. So I wondered how Wolf would have reacted to her hurt.

I don't know if this has been pointed out, as I am late to joining the Bad Guys fandom, haha, but I noticed that Diane Foxington keeps her tail exposed, whilst The Crimson Paw keeps it tucked and out of sight.

Grave Happenings Pg2
Disbelief was not the right word for the current feelings the group was experiencing.
Amelia worked in a high stress, high risk job with a title that doubled the amount. She had often visited bearing new injuries or scars. She would give her life for the life of another.
Her death was news they prepared for, but never expected.
Looks of shock and confusion were given to each other as the group stood in silence.
Buster slowly approached Rosita and took Marcus's phone from her shakey hand.
With hesitancy, he read aloud:
"It's with great sadness we announce the passing of Inspector Amelia Kristine Holmes of the Scotland Yard. At 9:45, on October 12th, Inspector Holmes was found dead, due to wounds inflicted by a small pistol. Services will be held-"
"Stop." Rosita said.
Buster paused. He turned and faced the wall, avoiding his friends' gaze.
"No."
The koala twitched his ear to the speaker.
Ash clenched her paws into a fist. "This can't be happening. I mean... this is AMELIA we're talking about! Rosita! How many times have fixed her up? Scolded her for her wounds?"
Rosita sniffed. "I lost count."
"Exactly! She's been in more scuffles and shit then we could imagine! But she always survives! Come on! She's a survivor!" The rockstar was laughing hysterically now. Gunter stepped toward her. "She's as tough as nails! She's probably sitting at the station now, refusing to eat until she solves this case! Right?! Why should this situation be any different?"
"Ash-" Meena tried but Ash interrupted.
"No! I refuse to believe that Mia is dead! She's... she's just-" Tears began to fall. Gunter embraced her. The laughing was quickly transformed into sobs.
Meena spoke next, her words barely audible over Ash's sobs . "Mr. Moon? W-what do we do?"
Buster swallowed. "What can we do, sweetheart?"
Johnny slid down the wall and buried his head in his knees. He'd known Amelia since he was kid, she had been his aunt, his Godmother. He lost her once when he and his family moved to Caltonia. Now it seems he's lost her for good.
"We have to go to London." He said.
He felt eyes land on him and he looked up to return the gaze.
"I agree."
The new voice startled the cast and they watched as Nana Noodleman entered.
"I'll provide the necessities. I will pay for the flight, the hotel, everything will be taken care of."
Still stunned at their friend's passing, Buster shook his head, forcing himself back to reality.
"Nana, we can't-"
"Don't finish that sentence, Mr. Moon." Nana warned. She then came to stand until she towered over the small koala. Buster looked up at her, fighting back tears.
Nana's gaze softened. "Miss Holmes was dear to you all. It's only right you attend her funeral. I will take care of matters here. The Theater will be closed until you return. But go, be there. Find closure. You will regret it if you do not."
Buster looked to his friends would stood awaiting his answer.
"Guys?"
"I say we go." Meena whispered.
Buster nodded before turning back to Nana. "Okay."
"When do you wish to leave?"
Gunter cleared his throat. "Immediately."

It was more then safe to say that the weight of what had happened did not hit until they reached the air port.
Rosita was first to break.
They had just arrived at their gate when the dancer fell to her knees and sobbed. "All those times she came to visit. All those times I nursed and tended her wounds. Everytime she brushed me off when I nagged her about eating..."
Gunter dropped his bag and held her close. "It's all right, Rosita..."
"No, it's NOT all right! How?! After all this time! Begging her to be safe! How could she be so, so STUPID!!!"
Gunter winced.
"She's was always trying to bring justice to the world. Always trying to help people. But this idiot couldn't help herself! Too stubborn to help herself! Always putting herself in unnecessary danger! And for what!? To help a creature that wouldn't return such a favor! For a world that doesn't give a shit whether she lives or dies" Rosita buried her head in her hands.
Buster was shocked that Rosita could insult the fox so. She treated Amelia much like an older sister.
Rosita sniffed. "She was so stupid, so ignorant...so brave." She began to sob into Gunter's shoulders by now.
Buster and Gunter helped her to a seat to await the boarding of the plane.
The flight was long and filled with an agonizing silence among Buster's crew.
Once they reached London Airport, Buster guided his friends to the exit where they hailed a cab that took them to their hotel.
Buster, Johnny and Gunter shared a room whilst Rosita, Meena ans Ash shared the one across from them.
On Gunter's insisting, Rosita lay on the bed, trying to take in a nap.
Meena sat in the lobby, looking a map of London when Johnny approached her.
"Hey." He said.
Meena looked up.
"I'm not going to ask if you're okay." Johnny said. "I know answer."
Meena nodded. "We just saw her week ago. When she came down for vacation." She began. "I asked her if stay another week, because she was going to miss our new show. But she couldn't."
"We begged her to stay." Johnny whispered, remembering the moment sadly.
"Ash even..." Meena sniffed. "Said she'd pay her to stay."
"We should've tried harded. Should've convinced her to stay. Then we wouldn't be here... attending her funeral."
"Remember the time she came with that black eye? I thought Rosita was going to have a fit." Meena giggled.
"Yeah, she said she got it trying to restrain a guy. I remember when she lost all that weight for an undercover case. Rosita AND Buster got onto her for that. Refused to let her return till she got some of her weight back."
"You know it's bad with BUSTER gets onto your eating habits."
"Or lack of!"
"What about the time she came to one of our shows and Ash got stuck in the air?"
Johnny laughed. "Oh, yeah! During our Wizard of Oz show, she played the Wicked Witch and her wires left her trapped in the air!"
"Yeah! And Mia had to climb up and rescue her! She looked like Indiana Jones swinging from the wire!"
Johnny and Meena both laughed at the countless memories that now flooded their minds.
Meena then sighed. "I've praying all day for this to just... just be a bad dream. It's like a nightmare I can't awake from..."
Johnny wrapped his arm around her shoulders. "I know."
"We shouldn't have let her go."

Alone in the room, Buster sat on the bed, swiping through his photo gallery on his phone, at pictures taken just a week before, when their friend was alive and well.
A tear dropped to his screen and he tossed his phone to the side of the bed. "Oh, Mia..."
It didn't take long for Buster and his crew to accept Mia into their little family. She was kind, she cared deeply for others, especially her freinds. She wasn't afraid to get her paws dirty or lend advice. Buster could say that everyone of his friends had been given a comfort talk by the fox. She was there they needed her. She became a trusted friend and was even adopted as an aunt by Meena, Johnny and Ash.
But despite being a shoulder to lean on for her family, she wasn't always open about her own feelings. Often there were times either Buster or Rosita stumbled upon her crying. She opened a little to himself and the mama pig. She had been through trauma, no doubt. But she wasn't one to burden others with it.
By now, Buster was crying fully. He hadn't felt this way since his father passed. The familiar pain was almost too much to bear.
"Dad..." he whispered. "Please, take care of Mia." Clutching a pillow, Buster began to softly sob as he tried to remember the better times.
_______________________________________
The service was taking part in a church not far from the hotel and after a rough night's sleep, the crew out on their best clothes and made their way to the church.
Many squad cars were parked near the entrance.
A barrier stood on the opposite side where reported and civilians were standing by.
Ash was standing next to Rosita when Buster made his way back from talking to the Sergeant at the entrance.
"Bad news." He said, with a slight snarl in his voice. "They won't let us in." He said.
Johnny stood from where he was sitting on the wall. "Why the bloody hell not!?"
"They said friends and family only."
"We ARE HER BLOODY FAMILY!"
"Johnny." Gunter said, taking the young gorilla's hand.
Johnny turned to the dancer and frowned. "We are her family."
Gunter hugged the boy and rubbed his back. "We are, those dinklesplats don't know what they're saying."
Buster looked around. "You're right. They said family only. Well, guess what? Her family's going to be there."
Rosita looked up. "Are you crazy!? Buster Moon, you've done some pretty ridiculous things in the past, but breaking into a funeral? No! Absolutely not!"
"Rosita, we have every right to be there!" Buster jumped onto the edge of a brick wall. "Come on, guys. We have to be there!"
Gunter pumped his fist. "I'm with Buster!"
"Yeah!" Ash cried.
Rosita sighed. It seems she was out voted.
So Buster led the group around to the back entrance.
Buster hissed for them to duck into the bushes as two police officers passed by.
Buster looked up and saw a window. "Johnny! Give me a boost!" He said.
Johnny did as asked and lifted the koala to see inside. Buster peered inside and saw a couple, a bear and a puma, whom he recognized to be Amelia's adopted parents. There was a panther speaking to them. Officers were taking their seats in the pews. In front of the church was a closed casket. Buster swallowed a lump in his throat as he imagined his friend's deceased body that lay inside.
"Mr. Moon?"
"Okay, let's, whoa!" Buster yelped as he felt heavy pelt fall from above.
Unprepared for the sudden new weight, Johnny collapsed and Buster and the new animal were dropped to the ground.
Buster shook his head as he propped himself onto his elbows to get a look at the animal.
"Thanks for the help, mate. Woulda broken me neck if you weren't there."
It was a weasel, wearing a ragged brown jacket, equally ragged jeans and a brown cap that lay beside him. Taking his cap and plopping it back upon his head. He met Buster's blue eyed gaze with his own piercing red eyes. Confusion flashed in his eyes then anger. "Who the bloody hell are you? You trying to get the scoop? This is my territory, mate."
Buster raised his paws. "Easy, sir. We're just-"
The weasel rolled his eyes. "Ugh, tourists. Oi." The weasel stood and brushed himself off and rose to his full height, which, alarmingly was two feet taller then Buster. "Whoa..."
The weasel frowned as he looked himself over. "I'm a hybrid. What's a group like youse doin' 'ere? Did ya know the cop?"
Johnny growled. "Yes."
"Who are you?" Ash asked.
"Call me The Bandit. That's all ya need to know. I'm a journalist."
"I'm Buster Moon, and this is-"
"Yeah, I don't care. Oi, big fella! Mind givin' me a life?" Bandit asked.
Before Johnny could answer, the weasel ran up the boy's arm and peered inside. "Closed casket, eh? Bollocks. Must have blown the fox's head clean off." Bandit glanced away and snickered into his sleeve. "Or she was just bloody ugly."
Johnny moved and the weasel fell to the ground with a hard thud.
"Oi, what's your-" but the weasel wasn't able to finish as he again was lifted several feet off the ground by-
"Rosita!" Buster hissed.
"How dare he speak about Mia?!" The pig asked, angrily. "He knows nothing about her!"
"Sod off, you." Bandit snarled. "And put me down!"
"Put him down, Rosita. The dinklesplat isn't worth it." Ash said.
Rosita did so but not gently. Depsite her gentle nature, she didn't take kindly to insults about her family. Dead or alive.
The Bandit replaced his hat back upon his head and huffed. "Grumpy that one is." He muttered. He then stood. "So... you say you're friends of hers? What's it like?" He took a notebook and pen from his pocket and prepared to write.
"Why should we talk you anything?" Meena asked.
"I'm investigating her death. Well, not investing. But I'm working on a story. Trying to get into a newspaper company. But no one wants to hire me."
"Wonder why." Johnnt whispered to Ash.
"So, I figured I'd solve this little case and BOOM! I'll have animals BEGGING me to work for them! Ya see, Holmes was workin' on a case when she was killed. Involving a new serum called TriFeral. Heard of it?"
"Yeah, it's a new variant of the Night Howler serum." Johnny answered.
"Fancy that! Tourists with brains! Anyway, yeah and whoever solves this case, finds the hice where they're creating the serum is gonna be famous! And that someone is gonna be me!"
Buster narrowed his eyes. "We want to help."
"What?! No way, ya twat. I don't need a group of wankers tailing me."
"Are you out of your mind?" Rosita asked Buster.
"Guys, we help him and we catch whoever did this to our friend."
"That's going to be difficult." Gunter said.
"Why?"
"The Weasel's gone!"
Buster whipped around.
It was true. The weasel had disappeared.
"Come on! He couldn't have gotten far!" Buster cried. But Rosita grabbed his arm.
"No, Buster! I'm putting my foot down here! This is way too dangerous!"
"We've been in dangours situations before!"
"And look what happened to Mia!"
Silence.
Buster frowned as he looked away.
Rosita continued. "What do you expect to gain from this? It's not going to bring her back."
"But we'd be doing what she would have wanted."
"By putting ourselves in danger?"
"By bringing those who wronged others to justice. Just. Like. Mia."
The group exchanged glances before Johnny stood. "I'm in. Let's get this bastard."
"Yeah!" Ash agreed.
"For Amelia!" Meena cried.
"For Amelia!" Cried the team in unison.
____________________________________________
The Bandit was attempting to sneak into another entrance of the church when he was caught by a strong hand.
He yelped when he found he had been caught by Johnny.
"Listen, I already told you-"
"Like it or not, weasel, we're helping." Buster warned.
Bandit growled. "This ain't gonna be easy. You can't imagine what type of messes I get into."
"Oh, I can imagine." Rosita said with a roll of her eyes. "You and Buster would be best friends."
"What do you say, Bandit? Help us catch our friend's killer, we'll help you find where they're creating this new serum. Best of all? All credit goes to you."
The Bandit frowned, as though he were thinking it over. Finally he seemingly came to a decision.
"Nope." He stuffed his notebook and pen back into his pocket and waved off the group. "Sorry, tourists, but this ain't the type of work for civilians like yourselves." He then adjusted his jacket and winked at Rosita who huffed in annoyance. "Leave it to the professionals!"
With that, and a final flick of his tail, the Bandit was off again.
Gunter turned to Buster. "Now what?"
But Ash recognized the familiar mischievous glint in her adopted father's eye.
"You know me well enough by now, Gunter, my boy." Buster smiled. "We follow him."

Ultimate Mom Figure
Sing's Rosita is a mom through and through
So, whenever I'm watching my nephew I put on one of the two Sing movies. (Recently only sing 2 due to our peacock subscription wasn't renewed.) And I realize how good of a mom Rosita is to the cast. She treats the whole cast like her children at times from offering advice, to giving candy, to calling most of them honey. Like she's truly the mother of the cast and I hope that if they made a series out of sing, we get more scenes of her being that. Like her being a motherly figure to Porsha (since we never see her mom I assume her mom's divorced from jimmy or passed.)

Grave Happenings
Welcome to my new story. Warning, death is mentioned. This will be a particularly dark story. Not necessarily long, only a few pages. But I hope you guys enjoy it. It popped into my head and was just begging to be put into writing.
Plot:
When they hear about the death of a friend, Buster and the group travel to London, England, and are soon accidentally swept into a whirlpool of mystery, mayhem, and just a touch of adventure.
Tumblr media
Thunder rumbled overhead, overlapping the sound of leaves crunching in the autumn air.
Inspector Amelia Holmes held her breath as she paused behind a fallen tree. She glanced over at the house chosen as the target. No lights were shown in the seemingly abandoned cabin.
No matter.
The target wasn't the cabin itself, but below the cabin. The basement.
She caught sight of her partner, a panther named John Basil. She nodded and he returned the nod and motioned to two other officers hiding in the dark.
With a final crack of thunder, the sky opened and rain poured down. The team chose this moment to approach the cabin. Avoiding the windows in case of a spotter, Amelia led the team to the basement door at the side of the cabin.
Bolt cutter in paw, Amelia easily broke the chain lock around the basement door. Basil caught the chain to prevent more noise and quietly the two other officers opened the door. Weapons raised, they entered into a long corridor. At the end was a door with light leaking through the bottom.
Amelia approached one side, while Basil appeared at the opposite. Amelia turned the knob as quietly as she could. The door opened to reveal a large room. Chemicals, tubes and glasses over lapped one table whilst an assortment of weapons overlpapped another.
Seeing that the room was clear, Amelia and Basil entered, leaving the two officers to guard.
Amelia approached a small table in the corner where plans and pictures of assorted animals were laid across the splintered surface. She picked up a picture of a beaver with his face crossed out in red marker.
"Mr. Woods." Amelia whispered to Basil, passing the photo.
Basil nodded. "Looks like we're looking at another Night Howler lab. 2nd one this month."
"Safe to say the serum wasn't content to stay in Zootopia." Amelia replied.
"Yes, but to travel across the ocean to Kent, England?"
"Either the perpetrator is from the states and trying somewhere new or we have own English copy cat."
"I don't know. The serum from Zootopia seems like child's play compared to this."
Basil stated. It was true. This new variant of serum, newly dubbed the Night Prowler, was aggressive in it's state. Whilst the Zootopia variant merely made animals go back to their primitive instincts, this new serum made it's victim more aggressive, more dangerous. Instinct was non-existent. The animal to fall victim to this new drug would be driven to kill purely for sport, not survival nor protection. Already four animals had been killed by a feral bear.
The antidote for this poison was still in development.
Amelia took out her camera and began taking pictures of the evidence. "I'll contact Chief when we're done here. The Yard figures there's only one animal stationed at this lab. When he returns, we'll arrest him and hopefully shut this operation down."
"You always make it sound so simple." Basil mused.
Before Amelia could return a smirk, they heard the sound of a door unlocking up the stairs.
Amelia and Basil both ducked under a table and held their breath.
The stairs creeked as the home owner, a deer, made his way down the stairs. He was wearing a yellow rain coat, but Amelia saw his face. He was missing patches of fur and his left horn had grown seemingly into his left cheek bone. His right ear had been torn off, most likely from an unhappy victim.
He was humming a dark tune to himself as he switched on the lights to the basement and strolled over to the very table Amelia and Basil were hiding under.
Normally, any other animal would have smelled the officer' damp fur, but the deer's nose had clearly been ruined by the months of this drug.
But his one ear was working double time to replace the one lost.
And as Basil flicked his tail to better position it, the deer suddenly flipped the table with strength rarely found in it's species.
The table returned to the floor with a bang. Amelia and Basil raised their weapons but the deer had turned away and grabbed his own weapon. Basil fired, but the deer was wearing a bullet proof vest and released his own bullets. The sound brought in the two officers, but it was also brought the rest of the deer's herd. In less then a moment, the room was suddenly filled with deer and Amelia and her team were quickly out numbered.
"Retreat!" She hated using those words, but this was not a battle they were going to win. It was better to leave to live and fight another day.
Obeying her orders, Amelia's team retreated down the corridor and into the rain once more.
But the head deer wasn't too keen in his guests leaving so soon.
"Get them. We'll make them test subjects."
The herd let out an ear splitting howl and raced after the officers.
The rain beat down hard against Amelia's pelt as she stayed only paces behind her team, making sure no one was left behind. Suddenly, a bullet whizzed passed, missing her cheek by mere inches.
Another bullet found its mark and Amelia cried out as she fell into the mud. She glanced at her side. Thankfully, she had only been grazed, but she was still in danger.
Basil noticed she wasn't behind him and quickly turned back. But Amelia motioned for him to go.
Basil hesitated.
Amelia raised her own weapon at him and he nodded solemnly.
Clutching her side, Amelia stood and ran the opposite direction. She hadn't gotten far when she fell again, dizzy from the immediate loss of blood. She whimpered softly as she glanced around. Blood and mud clung to her fur and her fur was growing heavy from the rain.
The sound of hooves pounding on the ground alerted her that she had been caught.
She forced herself to sit up and bared her teeth as the head deer approached. "Bad form." He growled, raising a weapon to her head.
Amelia felt her blood run cold.
The head deer fired.

"Give it up! For The Cast of the New Moon Theater!"
Buster Moon cried into the mike, gesturing to his brilliant cast as they all took a bow before the audience before them.
A standing ovation was observed and Nana Noodleman smiled from her spot in the VIP box.
Another successful show.
Buster and the group gave a final wave as the curtains drew to a close and then turned to his cast. "Brilliant! You guys get better each show!"
Johnny blushed. "Thanks, Mr. Moon."
"I don't know about you guys but I could for some of Meena's pumpkin pie right about now." Clay said.
Meena smiled. "Three pies are waiting right now!"
"Let's enjoy those in a minute. Right now, I need to get out of this costume." Ash said, pulling at her sleeves.
The group had just performed a fantastic show based on the film Spirited Away. Ash, who had played the character Lin was getting frustrated with her apron. Johnny, who had played the boy, Haku, laughed. "I hear ya."
Meena, playing Chihiro nodded.
Rosita, who played the evil witch Yubaba sighed happily as she began to take off the moles attached to her face.
Gunter, playing Kamaji gratefully began to remove his four extra arms.
"Hey, did Miss Crawley get it on video so we can send it to Mia?" Ash asked.
"I think so. If she didn't, I know Marcus did. He was with Nana in the VIP box." Buster replied.
"Too bad she couldn't have stayed longer this time." Johnny said.
"She said she was working on an important case." Rosita explained. "Must be a difficult one, I've never seen her so stressed."
"Once you guys are done mee-" but Buster was interrupted by the sound of pounding foot steps.
The door burst open and Marcus stumbled in, panting and looking white as a sheet.
Jumping onto Mama Mode, Rosita pulled Marcus to a chair. "Marcus, what's wrong? You look pale as a ghost."
With shakey hands, Marcus raised his phone to Rosita who took it, confused.
"She... she's dead." Was all he said.
Buster frowned. "What? Who's dead?" He then watched Rosita grow pale as well. A second later, she stumbled. Johnny caught her before she hit the ground.
"Rosita?!"
She looked up at the group. "Amelia is dead."
