"'19"
Where it all started. A three-day session at a former bandmate's house resulted in a sorta messy, five-track EP. Four hard rock instrumental tracks and a very silly cover of frankly awful song by another friend's band. Not gonna mention which band it was, btw.
But yeah, the start of something amazing.

Covid Update, USA, late December 2023: Buckle up, folks.
Takeaway from his (very informative) thread:
Wastewater counts are obscenely high right now, belying the official case numbers. Considering that we've stopped collecting or reporting most COVID data, wastewater is the best way we have to judge the actual infection rate now.
We are currently seeing ten million new infections a week, and can expect that to greatly increase within the next three weeks.
If you've stopped masking, please start again, for your own safety and the safety of your community. Many hospital systems are already trending toward being overwhelmed right now; let's do what we can to lighten their burden.
Avoid unnecessary gatherings where possible.
Ventilate your spaces well (this is a good time to build that Corsi-Rosenthal box you were thinking about! I made one, it's great).
And just from me, personally--now's a good time to reevaluate casual habits. I've been careless, again, about touching my face. Time for me to knock it off!
This is a period where we need to act with more care. Not a time to panic, but a time to be more cautious.

In The Shadow Of His Brothers
Chapter Six of In The Footsteps Of His Enemy
-
“Rex?”
It had to be Rex; he would recognise that armour anywhere! But the more Echo tried to follow him, the more his Captain eluded him, weaving in and out of the fog pressing in on all sides.
“Rex, please! Wait for me!”
But the fog dampened the sound, and Rex didn’t slow down, his silhouette fading before Echo’s eyes. Echo tried to follow - he always tried to follow - but his feet wouldn’t obey him, sticking fast in the shadowy quagmire beneath him. He reached out, doing everything he could to grab his brother and keep him there, but while his body obeyed him, there was no hand, no arm, just torn and bloody flesh-
No! Not now!
He was sinking now, his legs gone from beneath him. He fought to keep his breathing under control - he needed act, not panic! As he scrambled to find something, anything, to hold on to, he thought he could hear voices ahead. Forcing his body up, clawing his way forward, he tried to listen.
“-Kept in his growth jar too long!”
There was a smattering of laughter, cruel and vindictive. He didn’t remember his brothers laughing at him last time; the Sergeant had arrived soon after, and then they’d been attacked-
“- Like Echo could do that! If he ever had an independent thought in his head it would give him a heart attack!”
More laughter. There was something bittersweet about it; he was ashamed to say he was fine being the butt of the joke if it meant hearing his Batch again.
And what if they’re right? I always was the weakest, the one who clung to orders for safety…
“Will you shut up with instructions! You’re not in charge!”
Fives’ words stung. He knew, logically, that they were from a different time, a different situation… but what if he was right? His rebel cell was a mess, he could barely keep everyone in check, he had a traitor to deal with - what good leader inspires treachery like this?! And something was attacking their minds with Force-knew-what- he still didn’t have any way to beat the Imperials currently hunting them-
I’m not fit to lead.
I never have been - my brothers knew it! Maybe Rex knew it, maybe that’s why he left us! I should never have-

I have nothing but bad news for y'all
We were supposed to have until April to leave comments, but the cdc has officially ended the 5 day isolation period as of today, March 1st, 2024.
They're saying as long as it's been 24hrs and your symptoms are improving, you're good.
Nothing about covid has changed. Medical professionals are obviously slamming this decision. All this does is make it even more difficult to avoid long covid, because now workers will have to fight for sick days and time off they already barely have just to fucking heal from an organ damaging virus.
Idk what to say for this one.
