" mr. roche. " really her father would've been vaguely proud that she remembered her manners regarding addressing adults. although he'd be vaguely disappointed that her relief and now hope was pinned on a SOLDIER operative. but what her father didn't know was for the best right now. right now she peering up at the familiar face from beneath a chair she had hidden behind only to abandon in a rush and throw herself at his legs. her head barely brushing over his knee she resisted the urge not to sob though it was barely contained between gasping breaths. it had been a terrible afternoon after being taken from elmyra's and put into a room by men in black suits.
they hadn't thought much of her or that she'd attempt to run away, but she had managed to do it and find herself a hiding spot till daddy- or someone somewhat familiar came by. it had been an hour of waiting but help (or so she thought) had finally arrived.
"Your deduction would be correct." It was admittedly a rather difficult if not convoluted conclusion to come to and while he had rather hoped that perhaps his younger self would not close on the truth-however, he wouldn't quietly deny to himself, the relief in that he was not entirely alone and burdened with the truth.
It was in such a moment that he received the clarity of what it was that Spock Prime must have encountered in some parallel way. It was an unequal assumption as he knew his past and what he would encounter, his universe had not changed, but his past did. Unlike Prime who had experience a complete alteration and maroonment in an alternate universe. Perhaps...in some small way this was a version of it because he knew now of two universes.
One where he watched his mother die and another, now in this one, where she lived. One where his father had survived the destruction of vulcan and this one...where he hadn't. "Altering the timeline was not a choice I took without consideration to the ramifications. A gamble as it were, nonetheless, as a...friend once said to me."
Hello neurodivergent people. I was wondering if I'm just weird or it is common to not being able to learn certain motoric skills at the same time as my peers and learned them MUCH later

"-huh?" frame startled at the snap and blue eyes opened blearily to the green hedgehog in front of her. all she was aware of at the moment was the pounding in her head. grimacing she tried to sit up before the the entire planet tilted on its side- or at least it felt that way with the movement. hands immediately shot out to brace herself from where she sat on the ground trying to regain her bearings.
"i'm sorry-" breath hitched as the throbbing worsened. "my head hurts. its hard to keep my eyes open with the light."
"Your intention is to what? Attempt to cripple New Vulcan? Wage war with the Federation?" She paused staring up at the man before her. This wasn't the first time she had laid eyes on the man; the first had been at his trial. She had gone as a representative of New Vulcan and a means of support for her son. She also wanted to see the man who had hurt her people and planet punished to the full extent of the law.
"Kill me as a means of avenging your pride against Spock?" Brow arched faintly at the question she posed then shook her head.
"Logically speaking all of those reasons are futile. New Vulcan will have a willing candidate in the wings for my immediate replacement." Knowing the Vulcan Counsel there was already one waiting in place as there was still contention about having a human representative for a Vulcan society but no one could truly argue the logic that was her experience, her connections and position due to marriage. It was only logical that she take on her husband's mantle. Lips pursed faintly in thought as a soft laugh escaped. "Regarding the Federation well, they will not consider it a war so much as a manhunt. And they will hunt you down."
Even still dark eyes narrowed faintly at the war criminal as the next truth fell from her lips in full confidence. "-and this time I can assure you, my son, will find no reason to hesitate to kill you like before. You're an incredibly intelligent man, Khan, I won't insult your brilliance so that leaves me to ask again; what is your intention with this action?"
If you see a post that says that Israel is getting away with genocide because it's Jewish, or because Jews are given some sort of special privilege in society due to the holocaust, or because of the position of "privilege" the west gives to Jews, or because our society is "too sensitive" to antisemitism: RUN! Those takes are not coming from a good place.
Zionism is supported by the west despite it being Jewish, not because of it. It's supported due to propping up foreign interests in the region and justifies American imperialism in West Asia. For some it's supported due to the desire to bring about Christian apocalypse.
If someone treats Zionism as being propped up because of some sort of Jewish power in the west they are promoting antisemitism, weather knowingly or unknowingly.
