hi, i would love a matchup! im nonbinary and on the chubby side, i have a mullet and like to wear cottagecore/hippie clothes. i have a brother who i go everywhere with and would kill for, so family is definitely a priority! i like to crack jokes all the time and my humor varies from dad jokes to really dark. i like to draw and play video games, and i also have so many animals! snails, quail, cats, pigeons, you name it, i probably have it! im also definitely on the lazy side, but wont say no to a good adventure >:)

It took a while for Bear to warm up to you, meaning he doesn’t speak at all if you don’t address him and he would often stare at you. But the moment you start talking about your animals he’ll perk up and open up way faster. He’s more of a listener than a talker. (With the difficulties with speech and all.) So Bear will often let you lead the conversations.

Bear freaking loves your animals. I’m for real, he works at an animal shelter and he feels right at home with animals. Please, please, please, please teach him how to take care of your sweethearts Bear and I swear he’ll take amazing care of them.

It’s also so adorable to watch his red eyelight enlarge as your cats or birds come up to him or perch on him. He will purr so bad it’s so sweet.

He’s so fascinated with your hair. How does it poof up so good at the place you have lots of it? Do you need to shear the sides often? May he touch it?

(If you let him for too long, he'll end up accidentally ruining your hairdo because he keeps touching and pawing at it and tangling his phalanges in your hair and stuff.)

Loves your chub, makes you look healthy and soft. You are more safe from him following you around with lots of snacks to feed you than a skinny partner. He’ll still offer you snacks but not as much as someone who’s skinny.

(Trauma from the underground, he has this urge to make sure his mate is fed and if you look fed his concerns and urges are more satiated.)

Family is very important to Bear, so seeing how much you care about your brother is a big plus in his book.

Hope you’re quite patient and understanding because Bear can be quite slow to process stuff, sometimes needing a hot minute of staring into nothingness to really take in the new information you’ve given him. This is true especially with instructions or explanations of things he’s never seen or done before like movies and videogames.

That being said; Bear likes to watch you play video games. He mostly watches with every now again a question or a comment. He won’t play them however, it often goes too fast for him to catch up or remember what to do or what button does what. A videogame he does like to play with you is either Sims or animal crossing but even then he often loses sight of what he’s supposed to do.

He likes your jokes a lot. Though sometimes it may take a while to get it. You could have said a dad joke and three minutes later he starts chuckling. He’s not as good at shooting rapid fire puns as he once was but he can still semi do it. The dad joke and pun battles you two hold are fun and legendary.

(US Sans) Sky:

Agrees with the ‘kill for your brother’ mentally. He respects that. Sky acts as if he doesn’t like your dad jokes but he does, good dad jokes he enjoys more openly.

Sky loves your animal buddies, he treats them as if they are your kids. “JEFFERY STOP STARING AT YOUR BROTHER AS IF YOU’RE ABOUT TO LUNGE AT HIM.”

He really likes your clothing style, it fits you well.

Sky really enjoys tabletop games, he loves to play D&D so if you even dare to show an inkling of interest in it, sky will drag you to join him.

You make sure he sometimes takes the time to relax instead of constantly doing everything. So you being a bit of a lazing around fan is good. He needs to relax sometimes. However, be prepared to go on many walks in forests and parks.

Woah, 200 followers already? It was only a few months ago I hit 100. Thank you all so much for showing your support. It really means a lot to me.

This event will run for a month, starting today, December 11th, and finishing on January 11th (with a bit of leniency; if you send through a request the day after the event has closed, I wont knock it back). The rules are below.

What is the Event?

Ok I’d describe my personality as introverted but surprisingly energetic with family and friends. Shy and polite with new people but once you get to know me, I’m quite a troll. Teasing? Jokes? Puns? hi! can i request a txt matchup please?

i'm a 4'11 female with long black hair and dark brown eyes. being comfortable in my body has been a journey tbh but i'm really liking my smile recently: i have a smattering of dimples on my cheeks which i feel makes me stand out! i have horrible eyesight so i wear thick glasses (this year it's been round purple ones). my style is usually pretty casual (comfy over any other aesthetic haha) but occasionally i'll put on a cuter outfit if i'm going out with a friend or have another more formal event.

i'd consider myself an ambivert because i love making friends, but am often the quietest person in the group. i try my best to be kind and empathetic towards everyone (which can lead to me becoming more of a doormat than i'd like haha). i can be a sensitive soul and really appreciate the people in my life that take the time to listen to me and talk through things that make me emotional.

i'm a huge writer and reader and am looking at ways to pursue that in the professional world. i listen to a lot of music all the time (kpop, western singer-songwriters, and indie/alt pop are my go-tos!). i got into scrapbooking and bracelet-making last year so i have a lot of those materials lying around. i love connecting with people online and in person: sometimes not the best at responding but i think of so many people fondly anyway :)

Who am I?

I'm on the autism spectrum, so I'm often shy and quiet to begin with, especially in crowds. Unless you mention something I'm interested/passionate about then expect sparkles as I rant. Then get profusely embarrassed and blushy after said rant. Never out and about without my earbuds/headphones, listening to music keeps me from getting over stimulated.

I love to dye my hair all sorts of colors. I mostly tend to stick to reds and purples, but occasionally change things up with another color, blue, green, pink, rainbow. Would totally dye my hair the same color as their magic for fun.

Don't follow fashion trends, I wear what I like. Can go from wearing all black to colourful outfits. Likes layers, often wear dresses and skirt. Lots of knitted clothes. Soft cottagecore. Doesn't wear much makeup day to day, but when I'm going out or during special occasions I'll go all out and look absolutely bomb every time. Self conscious about my looks and struggle a bit with my body but still try to wear what I want.

I prefer home dates, but love to every now and then go out, cinema, go out to eat, shopping, hiking or other fun activities that's not too high energy*.

Struggle with ME*(chronic fatigue syndrome), so I have good days and bad days. Only have really bad days if I push myself too much physically. Mostly just manage to move myself from bed to couch. So wont always be able to keep up with chores or go out when I have bad days. Try to do some crafts but don't always have the energy for it. Despite it all I have a positive outlook and always try my best to make the best of the day.

I'm bad at initiating physical touch at first, but I love being close to my partner. You know I'm crushing on somone when I start leaving touches and once we're steady I'll start leaning into them for comfort when I'm getting overstimulated. They become my safe haven. Mostly just physical with a partner. Love being together and touching in some way, if were doing something together or doing separate things in the same space. Arms touching, leaning into each other, head/legs on lap. If their head is on my lap and I have a free hand, I will be softly caress their head, chest or somewhere else. Occasionally I will need some alone time to decompress.

Very creative and have all sorts of creative hobbies. Always interested in learning new things and can often spend hours learning and watching videos of my current hyperfixation.

I run my own little online store were I sell my creations.

On to my hobbies, I'll make this short and sweet~

-Knitting, Crochet, Jewelry making, Beading, Clay, Painting, Resin, Sticker making, Graphic design, Illustration, Video games(pc, switch), movies and series(live action and animated), Reading, Writing, Baking, Sewing, Photography, 3D design, Playing my Kalimba(thumb piano)

- I love to collect cute things, figures, trinkets, miniatures, plushies, scented candles, essential oils and fairy lights. Have way too many soft, fluffy blankets and pillows.

My love language for giving is quality time and gifts(love to give handmade gifts to people I love), for receiving it's acts of service and gifts(I don't care about expensive stuff, just the fact they saw something no mater what it is and thought of me enough to buy/make, gives me the big fuzzies).

A deal breaker for me is bad hygiene, especially not washing those hands or regularly brush their teeth (this might lean more towards humans rather then skeleton monsters). Somone who doesn't like animals, I come with at least 2 cats and a dog. Wants to have pet rats again.

I love when my hair is played with, having somone run their fingers through my hair and/or messaging my scalp and I'll immediately turn into a puddle. Absolutely adore the sound of purring, one of the best sounds in the world.

Dislike strong smells and hard, stiff fabrics. Haven't worn jeans in over 10 years.

Not particularly any physical traits I'm attracted to, it's all about their personality. I love someone who can make me laugh, someone who I can be silly with. Somone who will help and support me during my bad days without complaint. Somone who I can relax and be lazy with, but also somone who can push me a bit to go out more, small daily walks (love a little quiet nature walks).

I feel like Syrup knew you from one of his brother’s short lived clubs (Sky loves trying out all kinds of hobbies but to prevent him getting too bored of it he cycles through them) or from his D&D club/campaigns. So Syrup sees you around sometimes, at first he hadn’t talked to you often, he heard all kinds of good stuff about you from Sky so he got curious. Then one day he or his brother mention something and you start gushing. And oh boy, oh boy, Syrup practically sees you start to glow as you rant, and then you get embarrassed and blushy and Syrup can’t help but find you adorable. He acts on the urge to make a joke to lighten up the situation and brush off your embarrassment because there’s no need to be embarrassed about ranting about things you love. And your laugh is like music to his non-existing ears.

You guys become the best of friends, I can tell you that. Syrup encourages you to use your headphones/earbuds to help you out from getting overstimulated. He gets it, his own coping mechanism to deal with overwhelm-ness, stress and frustration is to suck on lollipops. Everyone got their own things. Very early on you two made a system where Syrup either draws your attention by waving when he wants to talk to you, or he sends a message to the device you’re currently using to draw your attention. It’s so neither of you get frustrated.

As everyone knows, Syrup is one clumsy boy. So he falls often. Meaning he can fall into a crush quite easily. It’s a tiny crush that makes him a bit more clumsy and stuttery/easily flustered but those he can get over quickly. However as he gets to know you, he trips further and ends up falling hard.

He loves the colors you dye your hair in. Syrup likes to guess what new color you’re dying your hair with. If you dye your hair the same color as Syrup’s magic then you succeeded in crashing his system! He straight up freezes as his entire face erupts in a darkish orange color and a high pitched whistle leaves him.

Loves anything you wear. I’m legit, this boy believes you’re gorgeous, he adores you in whatever you choose to wear. As long as you like it and are comfortable in it. Be prepared to get your chub worshiped because come on, an amazing pillow is right there and it’s made of you. Syrup would be crazy to not love that.

While we are on the topic, he loves to nap on you.

The moment you give him any sign of an ok he’s all over you with touch. Syrup is a cuddle bug true and through, you can’t change my mind. However before you two are together, it’s more small touches and sitting closer together. The moment you guys are together he goes full on cuddles and snuggles. He blushes while he initiates contact at first but the more he does it the less flustered he gets. Until you start initiating touch back. Syrup goes straight back to being flustered. The first time you leaned on him he swears he had died and gone to heaven or something.

Syrup too sometimes needs his alone time.

On the bad days Syrup will either just join you on the couch or message you memes and joke around to make you smile.

Once he learns you have your own store he’s buying stuff from it, he already loves stuff you make he just wanna show his support. That being said, if you made him something he will treasure it forever.

He likes animals and he wouldn’t mind pets, him and Sky were planning to get a dog anyways. He loves to play with your critters.

Jealousy - Do they get jealous?

Xiao had a complicated relationship with jealousy. He trusts his partner completely but can’t help but get jealous when they give someone else too much attention. He’s not really sure where he sits with it so he won’t act on any feelings of jealousy he has until he and his partner are alone. Then, he’ll just be extra clingy with them for a while.

Romance - Are they romantic?

Not super romantic. He’s never really had anyone in his life to care about that way so he’s still learning. He’s unintentionally romantic though. Sometimes he’ll say or do something that will leave his partner reeling. Whether it’s a genuine compliment or him offering them some of his almond tofu, it’s the little subconscious things that make Xiao romantic.

Yearning - How do they handle being away from you?

Tried his best to not miss his partner when he’s away from them. He’s been on his own for centuries, he can deal with this. But just below the surface, he’s a mess. He misses his partner a great deal when they’re apart and nothing make shim happier than reuniting and being able to spend time together.

Bram has been surrounded by nothing but bullshittery with the Decay of Angels, so having someone like an ENFP around him, would honestly be refreshing. As much as he is a sleepy head, he would appreciate your energy. Sagittarius suns are known to be extroverts, lively and enthusiastic - as much as he is the opposite of that, I feel like you’d balance each other out.

A big big reason why I paired you with Bram is for your musical talents. Though of course her style is primarily traditional, she would adore to have her significant other there with her, and performing with her. Speaking of history, if her opera performances are historical based, the two of you can talk about the history to your hearts content!

As you mentioned your singing talents, imaging song rehearsals together. Yun Jin would encourage you to sing along with her, or to simply hear you sing. Love that'd gone unnoticed

Reconnecting with long-time friends filled you with bursts of energy; you wanted to know everything about what'd been going on in their lives since the last time you spoke. Sometimes it felt as if you were meeting again for the first time, what with how much they'd changed.

While you sat waiting for Denmark to enter through the cafe door, your daydreams began exploring the possibilities of who he might've become. Once passing over that threshold, however, you were faced with that same lovable smile he'd always had.

The conversation flowed as if you'd never left each other's lives— instead having only said your goodbyes a short time ago. He was excited to tell you about everything he'd been up to and was just as animated when you shared your success and stories. That familiar sense of supportive and caring nature brought out the fond memories that'd been packed away.

Not wanting to lose any more precious time, you two were just as inseperable as before: the sense of humor and jokes you'd share were still prominent and, more importantly, things felt like they picked up right where they'd left off.

There was hardly a dull moment when you two were together. You were each other's go to when no one was interested in seeing niche movies and the best company when the days felt a tad gloomy.

How could you two have ever grown apart like you had? The reason for it seemed like a blur, a distant memory. Perhaps, you'd just become distant as many do. Whatever the reason, it didn't have any relevance to the present.

However, on one of your many nights going to a late showing of a cult classic, the air between the both of you was thick with tension. You weren't sure if you'd done something or if it was just in you imagination. He wasn't coming right out and admitting to there being an issue, although it was more than apparent—he wasn't a very good actor. Deciding not to push, you did your best to brush it off by keeping an upbeat attitude, thinking that you'd let him come to you if there was something weighing on him.

Despite your best efforts, your attempt seemed to have failed. On the drive home, the atmosphere felt like it had yet to be cleared and was now filling the inside of his car with sufficating awkwardness and uncertainty.

Pulling up to your place, a long sigh dragged out of him. He put the car in park and turned to you, "What are we even doing?"

His question brought on a flood of familiar dread. Butterflies were faintly stirring in your lower stomach as you asked what he meant exactly.

"It feels just like last time, doesn't it?" When you still weren't getting it, he continued, "I mean, we spend so much time together and everything..."

Sorting through the mess unraveling inside your mind, you hurridly tried to come to the conclusion: did you have feelings for him too?

"I just...All I know is that I adore being with you and I don't want to lose you again." Your chest heaved at the thought of him leaving your life again: no more laughing fits that left you in tears or silly outings that you'd think about while you were at work.

"I like it too. I really like it... I'm not sure if—"

Before he had the chance to finish his train of thought, panic at the possibility of saying goodbye again took over, leading you to land a clumsy kiss on his lips. It was backed by an elixir of fear and passion and was met with certainty—an understanding that you were meant to be together.

When you pulled away from him, you felt like you were seeing him for the first time. His eyes scanned your face, and when he leaned in for another kiss, you welcomed him with open arms.
