We finally got a glass cabinet for our miniatures! Looks better, and it's safer, mostly for our resin buddies 😅
We also got a nice spot for Terry the Shark!

When her day at the forge is done, Bryanne's main hobby is to craft figurines from the leftover molten metal. She carves the molds herself, inspired by the tales her grandfather used to tell her.
Then at night, she paints them all with great care until sunrise.

I couldn't sleep so now the Men Shen MS1-O is ready to cause problems. I'm getting a bit better at the squad markings- a friend of mine who actually knows how to read Chinese suggested I look up a stroke guide for the characters I was using instead of just trying to copy off of Wikipedia. I probably should've figured that out a bit sooner :/

My completed Sister of Battle "mini" debuted with a base at DragonCon this year! My first armor and foam prop build - entirely self patterned and constructed. I have even more I want to add and upgrade with this, but I love this cosplay so much and can’t wait to wear her again. Keep an eye out @momocon for me!

I've been away for a while so I figured I'd share some stuff I've been working on.
First one!
My King Slime has been benched for a while because of several crown printing mishaps. I wanted to paint him in the color scheme of the Strain in WildStar.
I think so far it's one of my best paint job!

Painted a cute little goblin squire :3
Not much to say about this one, just a quick fun paintjob I did in a night. Trying to get back to painting more regularly, and this is a good step in that direction!
One note for myself is that I think I went a little too dark with the darkest green. Or possibly didn't shade lighter tones across enough of the mini. Particularly the tail I think is a tad too dark for a lot of its surface. I was trying to push my dark/light contrast a bit more, but I think I overcorrected. Something to experiment more with though, because I do love some places with that darker green.

Finally painted something again, and finished it today! She's a displacer beast with a butterfly suit, seemingly based on Dirlagraun. I sadly cannot keep her, as she's a gift for a friend. Let me know what you think!
Model is Papillon the Displacer Beast by Max' Magnificent Miniatures.

I got some freebie Bionicle mini stls to test out, and dang they are good!
It's unlocked so much nostalgia and lore geekery for me!
Still got a Matoran sitting around waiting to be painted, but even after this I know I've gotta buy the Toa models now!
