He may be the personification of murder, but he really is an animal guy, so asking him to pick favorites is criminal. (That being said, he is quite fond of flumphs, and was a little disappointed when the mating ritual book turned out to be a dud)

They can shred on a guitar lute. (May or may not be starting the first githyanki metal band)

13: What are their thoughts on killing? Is it a necessary evil or do they enjoy it?

They're practical about it, as most githyanki are raised to be. They wouldn't kill someone simply because it was the simplest solution to a problem -- they'd at least try to find another way around, but if the person deserves it, who's to say they can't enjoy the vindication a little?

9: Is your Tav from Baldur's Gate? Why are they travelling there?

Aldor does hail from Baldur's Gate, specifically the Undercity. He's Bhaal's chosen -- although perhaps not the perfect son the Lord of Murder wanted (a bit much critical thinking and manipulation, a little too less stabby stabby murder). He is desperate to get back to his little empire, though, once he relearns what he has lost

18: What would your Tav be doing if they weren't kidnapped on the Nautiloid?

As per above, he would be ministrating the goings on of his cult as he always has done -- although perhaps trying some new things thanks to inspiration from a one Lord Enver Gortash (with whom he had a weird, very toxic, power imbalance relationship, but the man did give him some ideas of how to break up the monotony of centuries of murder)

26: What animal best represents your Tav?

Perhaps a bit stereotypical for a drow, but a spider -- but not simply for being a poisonous, manipulative bastard. Aldor is colorful, flashy and knows how to snare almost anyone in his web. He knows how to spin on and on a string of lies to get his prey, and he's also intimidating as hell (quite literally, he passes almost all of his intimidation checks)

what are the venom things for? some cool pet?

No, the short of it is I'm doing this for an achievement and some tailoring patterns.

The long of it is that I decided a while back to work on gathering transmog appearances and somehow that got me onto collecting all the tailoring patterns in game. In order to do that, you have to, at some point, side with BOTH Scryers and Aldor in Shattrath.

Then I noticed there was an achievement for being exalted with both Scryers and Aldor on one character.

So I figured why the fuck not. I'm gonna need to switch at some point for the patterns anyway.

The only thing is that if you are Exalted with the Scryers, there is only 1 quest you can do to gain rep with Aldor, and that is to turn in 8 Dreadfang Venom Sacs.

As a human, I need 1224 venom sacs to get from Hated to Neutral, which will then unlock the Aldor quests so that I can do them and get Exalted.

I figured I'll work on it low key while I get other patterns and stuff.

Well, now I have all the patterns from reputations and vendors except for the Aldor ones.

Idk, I could learn how to actually play my class so that I don't suck, but instead, I hop on low level alts for an hour or so every couple days and just run around the forest killing spiders.

#I need 8 more vanilla patterns #3 of which are Festival Dresses and Winter Veil clothes #then 17 from Outland #5 of which are Aldor #That fucking top hat from Cata #and 19 patterns from BFA #which require raiding mats #which is bullshit #me and the budgies rock out to music while I mindlessly kill spiders #and someday when i've gotten all the venom sacs #i will lvl my shadow priest to unlock the cloth outfits for the maldraxxi #because i refuse to swap covenants on my other priests
