Not So Favorite: Tom Hardy Movies
*This is just my humble opinion. Read my reasons before you hate me*
#1 Locke
To be honest, I have never watched Locke. But the story idea doesn't draw me in to watch. The clips I have seen prove that Tom’s acting is exceptional. And that he was able to act alone in a car for an hour and twenty-four minutes and get raving reviews from the critics says enough. It’s not something I’d watch, but because of Tom’s acting, I think several fans would love this.
#2 Bronson
This is an "Artsy" film. I'm not classy enough to enjoy nor understand these types of films. But I really wanted to watch this because Tom’s performance just drew me in. I’m going to be honest, I was confused by the film. I'm not certain what the director was trying to achieve because in my mind, I was going to watch a dramatization of Bronson’s life. Which, I guess it was? Honestly, Tom did a beautiful job, and I think it just shows how diversified he can be as an actor.
#3 Legend
It is not about Tom’s performance. He did a fucking amazing job. I mean, he played a pair of twins that had very different personalities, nuances and appearance from each other. And he did it with such conviction that I was convinced I was seeing two separate actors on screen. But now to my complaint. The movie had a phenomenal cast, but the storyline was slow and at times unexciting. I’m going to throw the director and writers under the bus. They had everyone to make this movie exceptional, but it just fell short in my opinion.
#4 This Means War
I’m not a fan of rom coms, but I watched it because of Tom. To be fair, it was a corky, fun movie that made me laugh. It was nice seeing Tom being silly and embracing a light-hearted role. He, of course, was a dreamboat, but the story was mediocre, and I’m not a fan of Reese Witherspoon. Chris Pine was hilarious, though, and the dynamic between him and Tom was comical. However, it was okay for just one watch. I doubt I’ll ever watch it again.
#5 Capone
This one breaks my heart. Tom always wanted to play Al Capone, and I wished it had been under different circumstances. Again, I am blaming the hell out of the director and the writers. They were going for artsy, unique, and shock n awe. But they ended with a sinking ship. No one wants to see an American Icon at his or her lowest. Yeah, Capone was a gangster, but he was THE gangster. The story should have been told during the prime of Capone’s life. Tom’s performance is out of this world, as always. But he was betrayed by lack of vision and foresight from the director. In my mind, Tom’s Al Capone would have made a movie comparable to the Godfather.
I feel like I've abused my tagging privileges, so anyone who cares to weigh in with their own movies or on my comments, please feel free!

Snowflake Book Review’s
Title: Rebel Guardians MC #6 Capone
Author:Liberty Parker
Pages: 220
Snowflake Rating:❄❄❄❄(4/5)
Synopsis:
Bridget Nelson is a broken, defeated woman. Used by her brother as his gang’s playtoy, she feels beyond less than, but when she found out what Charlie had planned for her and Hannah, she fled and landed in Corinth, Texas. With her trust issues, she wants no part of a relationship with any man, choosing instead to focus on intensive therapy and cosmetology school so she can work in Cassarah’s salon.
She never counted on a man like him, though. He swept in like a Texas Tornado and never let go.
Kade “Capone” Edwards is a patched member of the Rebel Guardians. Relatively laidback, he loves the sense of freedom that being part of this brotherhood gives him. He’s never been one who thought he would find an old lady, but once he sets eyes on Bridget the very first time, he knows that she’s the one. He’s not put off by her past, and is there to help her in any way possible, knowing that he’s going to have to wear her down and show her that he’s different.
Can Capone break through Bridget’s walls and show her that she is worthy of a loving relationship? Or will she continue to push him away and deprive him of what his heart desires.
