Courage Sans

A guy from one of my AU's, called Chancetale

Courage comes from a corrupted AU (That quickly collapsed and became part of the anti-void) but he lives in a place called the "Scattervoid."

Headcanons below the cut

So, to start it all, this dude is 8’2” , right?

Which means he stands a solid head-and-shoulders taller than the humans around him ( If not, more.)

… Which means if some person (monster or human, he doesn’t distinguish) is being racist, rude, or is in his way, he’ll just pick them up by the head/torso and shift them out of his path

While he used to be highly confrontational, now he’s just… peaceful. Not kind, per se, but peaceful. Capable of great damage, but simply chooses not to

Due to the state of his magic, any gravity magic or magic that effects his SOUL will usually like charge up and then explode outwards in a magic blow-out.

While this does render him incapable of using his magic for a period of time, it can often kill those around him and will completely destroy anything within a certain radius.

He’s basically a guard dog with a soft side. Angry, menacing, scary, but so, so sweet when you earn his trust and loyalty

Refuses to talk about his AU.

In a different reality, where the AUs get clumped together into a singular universe, he would introduce himself with his name, and sometimes saying that he comes from a place called the “Scattervoid.”

Classic gets really annoyed at him when Courage tackfully evades (read: really fucking bluntly and obviously) talking about his past or his AU.

Courage is… incredibly blunt. He’ll say things as it is and won’t sugar-coat anything, no matter how horrible it is

He also always offers his completely honest opinion on something, and seems to simply just… not get embarrassed.

Courage can play both the harmonica, and the electric and acoustic guitar. During the time where he isn’t working (which is a rare thing to experience, really), you’ll usually find him picking away a song on his guitar

Courage rarely uses bone attacks or weapons, and generally relies on his own strength and speed. He has a good reason to, as well, as his magic (although incredibly powerful) is very taxing. This and his natural reflexes he’s honed to a sharp point, so he doesn’t really need the magic.

… this being talked about, this also implies that if he’s attacking he’ll just…

Trick is an expert at stealing things

Parasite- His True form is that of a parasite that attaches onto a being soul and feeds on the energy of that soul

Card poof-has the power to teleport and when he teleports he leaves behind cards

acrobatic- is very agile and fast, very good at dodging

〔Abilities/Attacks〕

Metal Bat- Trick carries a metal bat that does 50dmg if he uses a lot of strength in it

Bombs- self explanatory

infinite Fanny pack- Trick carries a small fanny pack that is connected to a pocket dimension that can hold an infinite amount of things however the object must be able to fit in the fanny pack

Guns- Trick carries a large amount and varying of guns

Probability- can see the chances/percentages of events, situations, and etc

4th wall- Trick is aware of the fourth wall and likes to break it

Illusions- Trick can do illusion however he has not developed this ability much, he can mostly make people see something that isn’t there but not much else

Lost Host- If the parasite loses its host then its very vulnerable

No magic- The Parasite feeds on the magic of its host and the parasite isn’t well versed in magic so it doesn’t use it much

Chancetale (Courage's AU)

“Young one, do understand that entering this game will get you killed, or will make you kill others. Even I… even I am not entirely sinless.” - Toriel

“there are worse things than extinction, kid.” - Sans

A Sans who is menacing and dangerous, considered to be a bit of a legendary figure. He is known Solely as The Judge, and known for being merciless.

They live in a society where you had to complete a truth or dare within a specific time frame or you get punished- and that punishment was. . . unknown. But anyone who came back was never the same- always a lot more quiet, subdued, and clinically insane. Prone to insane levels of anxiety and a deep fear of any very light place or fully white rooms, as well as hearing voices and seeing hallucinations.

Plus, something in their SOULs absolutely recoiled at the thought of it. Nothing was worse than punishment. Nothing.

Eventually the truth option completely shattered, leaving only dares that got progressively worse as time went on.

Courage has singlehandedly killed more than half of the underground, including his brother.

His next task was to kill all of the underground, which would have turned him into a "Dust AU".

Except this time he just. . . couldn't bring himself to do it.

And then Error turned up and destroyed his AU- but couldn't find Courage.

That's when Raven swooped in (finding him in the Anti-void) and pulled him into his AU.

Courage got his nickname from Raven, and also his love of building things. He's mostly why the skeleton can't really stop doing work- Courage is too used to using his hands and just generally being active.

Courage is now considered an Outcode and has developed technology that allows him to jump across the multiverse from AU to AU.
