Imagine an AU where Cyno has Eleazar.

He wouldn't tell anybody-- not even Tighnari-- and he would destroy himself to not let it affect his work.

Just think of all the potential. Him hiding it by taking medication and pushing himself through the pain and exhaustion. Collapsing in his apartment, tremoring through agonizing flares before forcing himself up in a fevered haze to work. Walking along the knife's edge where half a step in either direction will be a disaster. Forcing his body beyond its limits over and over, knowing that it's only a matter of time before he can't. But who would care? Cyno's only worth is his ability.

Tighnari knowing something is wrong but not knowing what. He doesn't know how bad it is, either, since the rainforest eases symptoms of Eleazar. But Cyno is an asshole(affectionate) who would die before admitting weakness, and no matter how much Tighnari wants to know, he can't force Cyno to tell him anything.

Meeting Collei and deciding she can never know the truth. She needs strong adults in her life, and showing that he's just as sick as her wouldn't help.

But you can't hide these things forever.

The samsara making everything worse until Cyno can barely function. He continues forcing himself so far beyond his limits that his body gives out. Collapsing mid-fight and ending up in the hospital in Sumeru, horrifying all the doctors that he could still function while so sick.

Tighnari hearing rumours or being told about it and going to find out it's true-- that Cyno had one foot in the grave. Cyno is so exhausted he just sleeps, so weak he can barely move. Feverish, in pain, and barely lucid. Tighnari is willing to fight the sages to take Cyno back to Gandharva Ville in desperate hopes that it will help because his medicine works better.

There's just so much potential here.

Ooh, excellent question, let's get to it.

Afton

Afton never gets hired on because Chelsea is either dead or doesn't exist. Aro says "lol no" and Afton is on his merry way.

Demetri

Demetri is a "maybe". Amun claims that Demetri was lured away because of Chelsea, however, I've always been dubious that Chelsea is solely the cause of his departure.

He's listed here because people will argue with me and it is a possibility

Eleazar

Getting rid of Eleazar may have become even harder. He still might very well leave because of Carmen but it's a possibility that even that isn't enough without Chelsea greasing the wheels behind the scenes.

Heidi

Heidi is another "maybe". She was recruited having been spared at the execution of her coven for her talents. Perhaps, had Chelsea not been there, she would have chosen death. That said, the choice was "death or Volturi" and Chelsea did choose "Volturi" in canon so I'm inclined to believe she stays as well.

She's listed because people will argue with me and it is a possibility.

Marcus

Aro was terrified Marcus would try to kill himself and this was what led him to finding Chelsea in the first place. Without her, Marcus could very well kill himself. However, that said, Marcus didn't in however long it took to find Chelsea and there's always Corin.

Marcus may just find himself getting stoned and dragged out whenever he needs to stare at someone.

Summary: just some dating headcanons for my favorite Spanish vampire from Alaska

Warrings: there's a few NSFW headcanons in here so be aware.

Your the newest addition to the family, you joined around the 90s (in the twilight timeline). With you being the newest member you and the Denalis didn't interact as much.

After Carmen cheated on Eleazar with Demetri, he moved to Forks with Tayna, Kate, and Irina in tow.

Then he saw you again for the first time in a while. I think the two of you always knew there was a connection or mate bond but never acted upon it due to obviously reasons.

He spent his entire first week at Forks talking to you and during that time he fell harder for you.

You couldn't help but fall for his charm, he just knew how to make you blush.

When Your 'brother' carlisle found out he was pissed, the family has never seen him that angry. He's very protective of you and when he heard the Eleazar was your mate he punched him.

“stay away from her”

Esme has to pull him away and talk some since into him. “they're mates... And they're happy”

Him and Eleazar made up and Carlisle spent over two weeks apologizing for his actions. It's all water under the bridge because Eleazar understood where he was coming from and carlisle knew Eleazar would treat you like a queen.

“I love her”

“I know you do”

Your engaged by the time Bella shows up. To put it delicately she the reason your wedding kept getting put off. James, birthday gone wrong, newborn army, ya know 'normal' stuff.

You got married after the newborn army problem ended. “yeah you think we could get married now? Just a thought”

Eleazar secretly gets really tired of the Bella and Edward drama, so he made sure you got your wedding first. You guys have been waiting too long.

He loves your eyes, especially when you were human. He loves how innocent and soft they looked, they're so gentle.

I wouldn't say Eleazar is a prude but he's definitely uptight and is the serious one out of his coven, but you bring out a softer and brighter side in him. He loves how you can make him laugh and being him out of his comfort zone.

You can always make him laugh, no matter what. He's the serious one in the relationship and your the bubbly one.

Tayna calls you the golden retriever of your relationship and Eleazar is the black cat.

Your the only one who can call him Eli... Maybe Tayna but other than that your the only one who gets the pleasure to do so. “she's the only one who can call me that that”

It's the small things that matter most. He loves dancing with you to your favorite songs. It brings a softer side to your guys chaoic lives.

He never was much of a dancer before meeting you though, but you changed that. It first it was just to mess around because you were bored, but then you both found out how much you loved it.

“I don't dance Love”

You rolled your eyes and wrapped your arms around him. “you do know”

He leaves love notes every where for you to find, sometimes it will be on your mirror, sometimes in the book your reading at the time, no matter what your always finding his sweet messages.

'If I were to kiss you and then go to hell I would, so then I can brag with the devils I saw heaven without even entering it.'

You guys love watching old monster movies together.

You learned he paces when he's nervous or aggravated. He'll move back and forth in your room at lighting speed somethings, mumbling Spanish. If he gets real aggravated he'll rant in English and slowly bleed into Spanish.

With jobs its simple, when he moved to Forks he became the Spanish teacher at Forks High, your doctor like Carlisle.

He didn't relize how touch starved he was till he met you. At first touching and contact wasn't really on the top of his list of needs(him and Carmen didn't touch much) but when you started dating he couldn't keep his hands to himself, he always has to be holding your hand or if your sitting on the couch or something your head is on his shoulder or chest.

You guys are family people, you have this mother vibe to you(Emmett says your like the second mom to them) so when the whole new-born delema happened Eleazar convinced Felix to spare Bree Tanner. You two adopted her and became the parents she never had.

If you met and and married before your transformation you two would have twins, the birth wasn't dramatic like Bella's and you made it threw with smooth sailing after Eleazar terned you.

From the beginning Carlisle was gonna turn you. When you first joined the family you were human, but when you met Eleazar you decide it would be him that would turn you.

Anyway, your twins are a boy and a girl(hybrids of course). Your daughter is gifted, it kinda mirrors Eleazar's ability to see what gift a vampire has. Instead of reading them she copy's them. She found out one day when she was holding Kate's hand then shocked Emmett by accident.

“your daughter is a copy cat” Eleazar smiled proudly. “yeah no shit” Emmett said rubbing his arm.

Your son doesn't have any special powers expect being incredibly fast, faster than Edward even.

Your daughter is an exact copy of Eleazar and your son is a copy of you.

Your really close to Tayna and Kate. They are both like little sisters to you. You and Irina are not as close but you got each other's backs.

Of corse you'd never trust Irina again after she went to the vulturi about the Twins and Renesmee.

The girls were over the moon when Eleazar told them about you and in the beginning of your relationship he was always going to the girls for advice.

He's so afraid of losing you, your the best thing that's ever happened to him and he doesn't want to screw it up. Of course he doesn't have to worry about that.

Your always resuring him that your always gonna be by his side. With that I think he's secretary insecure, he's never really had anyone drool over him like girls do Carlisle or Garrett, so your always telling him how handsome he is.

“have I told you how handsome you are?”

He smiled softly. “Yes dear, like a million times”

He just the same, he makes sure your the only woman he sees. Your truly the most beautifulest woman he's ever layed eyes on. “your so beautiful”

He's very protective of you, he not a violent person in the slightest but if someone caused you harm he'll tear the world down.

He doesn't let anyone talk down towrds you or about you. He's the type to either put the fear of God in them or if it was a friend they won't be on speaking terms anymore.

He'd never admit it or talk about it to someone, but he's a cuddler. If your still human your curled up to his chest sleeping like a baby, he'll have his arms around you all night and intill your wake up.

If your in the living room watching a movie with the family your head is on his shoulder or in his lap.

He'll watch anything that interestes you at the time. He likes supernatural and he'll watch Greys Anatomy on an ocation, being friends with Carlisle for centuries you learn alot of medical stuff, so he knows when somethings wrong in the show.

He's definitely a 'yes dear' when it comes to things, not in a bad way or anything. It boils down to that he'll do anything for you.

He's a rough but passionate kisser. He pours all his love and emotions into it, he makes sure your the only one on this earth he wants to love.

NSFW headcanons:

Eleazar has this mischievous kind of charm to him and he uses it to his advantage when it comes to getting your attention. He knows all your ticks and can easily get your riled up.

And it's definitely not one sided. Eleazar would consider himself calm and collected... Serious even, but you know how to get him riled up as well. Like I said before he became a touch person after meeting you. Sometimes all you have to do is Trail your hand down his chest or rub the inside of his thigh. When you push the right buttons he'll pull you towrds your room and you'll be in there for hours tangled in each other.

“darling... Don't start anything you can't finish”

He tries his hardest to be romantic all the time, during sex especially. He wants you to know just how much he loves and adores you.

He's a soft Dom and he always makes sure your comfortable. He loves to take control in the bed but would never push you.

Your pace all depends on your moods honestly. Usually it's slow and loving, everything moves so quickly in his life so it's nice to just savor moments like this. But if you get him riled up or push the right buttons that switch will be flipped in seconds.

This was all until the Granada War broke out, whose aftermath would mean the expulsion of Eleazar and his people from now was considered the Kingdom of Spain. En route through Europe he was separated from his family, and in September of 1492 Eleazar would be turned by a wayward vampire who left him in the gutter. Due to his gentle nature he did not take to the transformation well, and he felt no purpose could be sought out in this new and strange life he lived. That, was until he encountered Demetri and Afton on a job in 1502 AD.

What if Dottore has Eleazar? As unethical and traumatizing as his treatment was, it was also the most effective in suppressing the symptoms (at least, from what Collei and Tighnari have told us). And if the censored text in the underground hospital is meant to hide that Dottore/Zandik worked there, that means he's been working on treating eleazar for years. Maybe the prime Dottore has a later stage of eleazar and that's why he keeps making younger clones of himself and tries to find a way for humans to surpass gods. Survival is a powerful motivator, and the craziest mad scientists tend to experiment on themselves.

Dec. 6 - What was it like for Eleazar to see the Volturi/his fellow guards again in Breaking Dawn?

Eleazar? Did not intend to be in the middle of this.

Aro lets a few people walk away from the Volturi, mostly because he thinks they'll come back. He figured Carlisle would be too weak and lonely; he figured Eleazar would miss being so powerful. He misjudged them both, severely, and worse—they're now very good friends. And he's the one who handed the Cullens an incredible defensive weapon by telling Bella what none of them had managed to figure out.

He could see all those eyes on him. He didn't need Edward's gift to figure out a lot of what they were thinking—what was he doing here? Why were his eyes like the Cullens'? And Aro's...that under no circumstances were Carlisle or Eleazar ever coming back. For a second, it was triumphant. And then, it was just Oh, shit.

He left the Volturi to find peace. And he had found peace. And now, thanks to Carlisle, he has accidentally majorly stirred the shit.

Everyone else left the field that day relieved. He and Carlisle, though, hooked up a few weeks later in northern British Columbia and made some decisions about what the hell they are going to do when the Volturi come back.

Because they're coming back. Neither of them are confused about that.

Dec. 6 - What was it like for Eleazar to see the Volturi/his fellow guards again in Breaking Dawn?

I mean, I hope he had the good sense to be afraid. Once Aro took Edward's hand, he became aware of the fact that Eleazar has been having some pretty brazen conversations with his fellow witnesses, such as "How Chelsea forces people's loyalty when Aro wants someone" and "How we might be able to get around Aro's personal bodyguard." If Aro shares these security breaches with Caius, Eleazar will very likely end up on the Volturi's hit list sooner than later—especially since he would be able to recruit even more gifted vampires to the wrong side if this leads to war in the years to come.

Eleazar also feels ashamed, and not just his canon angst over his role in helping Aro acquire gifted vampires back in the day. He feels ashamed when he looks at his former friends—Demetri, Chelsea, Felix, Corin, Heidi, Aro himself—and knows that they now see him as a traitor. He knows he's on the right side of this conflict, but it still hurts to see that accusation in their eyes.

He hates that it's come to this, because he really wanted to keep believing that the Volturi are worthy to rule. He doesn't share one ounce of Garrett's revolutionary enthusiasm. The thought of having to fight against his old comrades in the Guard makes him sick.

Twilight Advent - Day 12

Twilight Advent 22, Day 12: Tell us some headcanons about a Twilight character you don't usually post about.

Here are some headcanons I have about Eleazar:

While he was still in the guard, he spent a lot of time with Chelsea, because their gifts were frequently used in combination on missions (Eleazar to identify promising gifts, Chelsea to bind them to the Volturi). However, they didn't get along too well until Afton came around.

While with the Volturi, Eleazar didn't agree with how they conducted their affairs in the South. This is something Jasper and he bonded over decades later.

Aro has kept in touch with Eleazar after he left the Volturi. Their letters have gotten fewer over the years but Eleazar is aware that it is only a matter of time before Aro calls on his services again. And he knows that if this were to happen, he'd have no other choice but to comply.

While Carmen naturally took to acting human around the Denalis human guests, Eleazar struggled with this for a while. And while he has a lot of respect for Carlisle and his lifestyle, he does not deem the 'human charade'-part of it to be desireable.

Out of the Denali clan, he is closest with Tanya. He also became fast friends with Garrett when he joined the coven.

Eleazar also shares a close friendship with Carlisle and Jasper.

He misses Spain (and Europe in general) a lot, however he enjoys the fact that in Alaska, they do not have to live as nocturnal creatures.

He never was much of a dancer before meeting Carmen, but she quickly turned that around. They really enjoy dancing together, especially to spanish and latin rhytms, as this reminds them of home.

Eleazar generally is a rather cautious and prudent character, however Carmen brings out a sunnier side in him. She regularly pulls him out of his comfort zone and he loves her for that.

Hello, a couple of questions if you dont mind. If Eleazar died instead of Alexandra who would rule Daria, her or mc? Could mc display the same level of power if they witnessed their father die or the relationship between them was not good enough for that? What would Alexandra think about her sweet child becoming a cruel and cold individual after Eleazar's death? I still haven't forgiven you for her death btw.

I can understand that 😅 And it would be Alexandra, until the MC became an adult, at least 20 or 21 years old. And in this case, no, she couldn't. It would require a certain level of emotion for that, and if the MC didn't care that much about Eleazar, then they wouldn't be able to exhibit such a level of power. And Alexandra might even understand the MC being a cold and cruel person, but it doesn't mean she would approve. She would think about trying to help the MC to be less cruel or cold, and if that didn't work, there wouldn't be much else to do besides being by the MC's side and helping them with things in Darian and Petrus.

Also somebody give Kaeya Eleazar.

Khaenri'ah is below Sumeru, so I don't think it would be that weird for him to have/develop it as a child. We don't know if people could contract it by visiting Sumeru, and there's a solid argument to be made for the connections between Khaenri'ah and Irminsul anyway.

My point is, au where Kaeya has Eleazar. Nobody knows what's wrong with him in Mondstadt, and Crepus keeps looking for answers until a visiting merchant from Sumeru catches a glimpse of the scales.

Kaeya doesn't run away to Sumeru as a child-- Crepus takes him there to try and find treatment. There's nothing more they can do there than in Mondstadt once they know what Kaeya needs, so Crepus takes him home and sources expensive medicine from halfway across the world.

The thing about Marcus, and Twilight in general actually for Pick Any Character, is that in those timelines... they might already be Can't Win. In either he's pulled himself out of depression and in the latter case had to horribly kill off Edward himself and become a man that Didyme would have hated and who makes Aro cry. In the former, or either actually, if Bella happens to die again, Marcus might very well return to his previous state.

As for Eleazar, he got kicked out of his cool important club without realizing it, and is convincing everyone he's still very cool and important and cares so much about all the people. He's living Can't Win, he just doesn't know it.

Chapter 6: Alice is at it again

Alice, holding a big smile on her face, skipped past Carlisle then into the living room with two small cards in her hand.

“I have it all set up, the movie starts at 7, you guys are watching Psycho... it's her favorite” I looked up at her confused as she talked 100 miles an hour. “also you'll have the theater to yourselves and also you need to go the florist and pick up a bouquet of roses at 6:00, also-”

“hold on” I said, covering her mouth. “What are you going on about Alice?”

She took a breath and slipped me two movie tickets. I gulped as I imagined us sitting alone in a dark room together. It sounded amazing, I almost couldn't believe it. I also didn't want to screw it up.

“oh, yeah and after the movie you should take her out for moonlight stroll in the park, she gonna want to talk about the movie”

“¿Qué hiciste?(what did you do?)” I looked at her panicked. The more she talked about this planned night out the more reality started to kick in. I stared at the movie ticks blankly once I realized I was gonna take the most beautifulest woman in Forks Washington on a date.

“Alice, give the man to process everything” Irina chuckled, knowing damn well she was involved.

Alice cringed. “Oops, was I talking too fast again?”

I didn't say anything, just fiddled with the movie ticks. Carlisle sighed and told Alice and Irina to leave. He sat down on the couch next to me and padded my shoulder. “everything is gonna be fine Mate”

I shook my head and stood up, I paced back and forth in front of him, ranting. The fast I spoke the quicker I slipped into my native language. “no puedo hacer esto ¿Qué pasa si lo estropeo y lastimó? Y Alice acaba de arreglar esta cita sin que yo lo sepa. ¿Y si ella ni siquiera se siente atraída por mí?(I can't do this. What if I screw it up and hurt her? And Alice just sets up this date without me knowing. What if she isn't even attracted to me?) ”

Carlisle nodded along as his gold eyes followed my every movement. Once my words started to make zero sense in both Spanish and English, Carlisle stood up and grabbed my shoulders, stopping my pacing. “why am I doing this carlisle? It's just gonna go to shit like always”

“its not gonna go to shit Eli” carlisle said softly. I pushed his hand off my shoulder and stepped back, angery. “it always does! I did everything I could and still failed, what if this ends the same way? I can't go through all the pain again… I Just can't”

Carlisle shook his head and put his hand on my trembling shoulder. “y/n isn't Carmen” he stated.“i know you got hurt in the past, but that doesn't mean you should let it alter your present or future”

“carlisle-”

“what do you like about y/n?”

I smiled. “She's so kind and generous, and I love how passionate she is about the things she loves,” Carlisle smiled as he listened. “and her eyes, they're so beautiful and she cares… So, so, much, about her students and her family”

“how does she make you feel?”

I smiled softly and looked down. “overwhelmed with love… I've never felt this way before”

The next morning was the day I would ask y/n out and I was panicking “okay I can just say 'Hola, I got theses ticks for a movie, my brother-in-law was going to go with me but he's busy, would you like to go?” I said pacing back and forth in front of the two desks Tayna and Kate were setting in.

“okay first, don't add Carlisle into this” Kate started. “you want her to feel she was your first choice and your not just asking her to go because the first choice bailed.”

I rubbed my face in frustration. I never felt so nervous and out of line, how could one human make me feel so frazzled.

“and try tenderness, girls love all things romantic” Tayna said. “but don't go over board.”

“just speak from your heart, when you go to her you'll know what to say” Kate said, standing up. She turned me around and pushed me towrds the door. I took a deep breath and walked out of my classroom.

“good luck!” the girls called out. I nodded to myself trying to muster up all the courage I had. I walked down the hall and the closer I got the more shaky my hands got. I quickly shoved them in my pockets as I turned to the hall that held her classroom.

“Puedes hacerlo(you can do this)” I mumbled as I raised my fist. Once I knocked I told myself there was no turning back.

“continue to work guys” I heared her say as her foot steps got louder the closer she got to the door. She opened it up and I was graced with her beautiful smile.

“Hola Eleazar” her voice was so gentle and cheerful I almost lost my train of thought. I cleared my throat and scratched the back of my head.

“can we talk? It will only be a un momento” she nodded and closed the door so we had some privacy out in the hallway. I cleared my throat nervously as she stared at me with those extrodanary eyes.

“please forgive me if this is too forward but, the movie theater is showing a screening of Psycho tonight and was wondering if you would want to go with me”

Her innocent eyes widened. “you want to take me out on a date?” she asked nervous.

“Yes, I would love to take you out on a date... If you'll have me” I said trying to sound confident. She studied my face looking for any lies or unsternty. Her lips formed into a genuine smile.

“I would Love to Eleazar”

“¿En realidad?(really?)” I said meeting her eyes. She smiled and nodded. “Si”

I nodded clasping my hands together. “excellent, so I'll pick you up at 6:45”

“great, I'll be ready” she smiled. What she did next took me off guard. She stood on her toes and placed a quick kiss on my cheek. “see ya tonight” she waved at me then slipped back into her classroom gracefully.

“Oh, gracias a Dios(oh, thank God)” I said, sighing in releaf.
