Spicy confession: I think this obsession and almost fetish with Finn being queer is because he’s a white, skinny guy with effeminate features and is ~artsy~ so I hope he’s actually straight so people realize that they should stop stereotyping men by how they look or act. You’d think we would have learned with the Noah situation and the dumb “he’s a straight frat boy so it’s funny he plays a sensitive gay boy so well” joke.

I mean I see your point, but I personally never saw Noah as a straight frat boy. When Bylers would make that joke, I would always go "Is he tho?"

I think what you're saying could play a role for some, but I also feel like there are subtle things that go beyond "sterotyping men by how they look or act" that people who believe he's bi/queer notice (or think they notice).

Because I'd say there are plenty of guys who kinda fall into a similar category as you described, and I'd wager a guess that if similar polls were run, most people here would likely see them as straight.

And lots of people theorized about Noah even if on the surface he seemed like a "straight frat boy" playing a gay character so well.

So there has to be a subtle "something else" that fuels it.

What that IS tho I'd say is difficult to pinpoint.

this is a massively unpopular opinion on the 100's fandom but I do think the person who got the most genuine, softest emotion out of clarke is and will always remain finn. I always thought of her as a pretty hardened and cold person deep down, no matter what she might say to contradict it (actions always weight more, words are carried away by the wind etc.), but having to kill him also killed whatever capacity was within her to still feel those mushy, inconvenient emotions to the degree did with him.

the story didn't quite land because finn never quite landed, the audience never embraced it and people always wanted clarke's preferences to go in a different direction (be it discount anya or voted most likely to join a cult), but alas. hell, my only clarke ship is clarke/josephine (and I do maintain that she actually managed to connect there in a super hilarious, unlikely way xD), and this is muddled by the fact that the show itself lost interest in finn/clarke (and, imo, anything related to lasting romance when it came to clarke, so the cause-and-effect order isn't clearcut here) as soon as he died, but I do think their dynamic had an energy that just wasn't matched later on.

Spoilers for the 100

I love rewatching shows and going through how all the characters end up like:

- You and your partner sacrifice your time to save humanity and end up dying together of old age

- You kill yourself having a massive party to mark the apocalypse (you could have lived if you wanted but your girlfriend was murdered and you became a depressed alcoholic)

- You almost make it to the end but you become a religious fanatic, shoot your best friend/possible romantic interest and then die

- You save all of humanity until right up to the end when you doom them forever, after raising the child that survives the apocalypse

- You become a cannibalistic warlord and somehow this saves the human race. Then you raise a child with another ex-murderous leader in a pocket dimension before returning to finish saving humanity

- You become the saviour of humanity and lose the use of one of your legs because you were the only one to not go off and kill people or cause war

- You die far too soon as part of a peace treaty after you murder half a village trying to find the girl you’re in love with (a tad dramatic if you ask me (the murdering half a village to find the girl you’re in love with part that is))

- You somehow turn good and make it to the end of the show with your girlfriend. Both of you used to be murderous psychopaths and assassins

- You get your mind wiped, your body taken over and then get ejected into space

- You get murdered by a little girl told to face her demons

- You live a fairly long life causing a fuckton of suffering (keep your leaders away from insane AI people, please) and are eventually stabbed by an enemy soldier

-You redeem yourself, suffer fatal injuries, have your consciousness transferred into another body and then eject yourself after giving one of the greatest final lines of a tv show ever

- You survive the whole show after honestly not doing that much for a large portion of it but still being involved in all the plans, battles and world ending disasters

Finn needs a vet visit!!

A couple days ago, I heard meowing from my neighbors roof. Up there was a 2 week old kitten, ears barely starting to uncurl.

I managed to help him down with some help and hes been in my care since. I've bathed and bottle fed him and kept him close to me all hours of the day, but now it's time for a vet visit!

He's not old enough for vaccines yet but he's getting a little too round so there's a possibility he has worms and needs medication for that. I'm currently unemployed and trying to get into college so I need as much as I can get for this little guy!

Btw, his name is Finn after the character from Adventure Time and he loves to crawl around, plus finding him surely was an Adventure in itself!

Regarding cravings he will get them anything they want. he can hear their stomach growling and he gets nervous, but he keeps them fed.

one time the Doctor's office didn't have any available nighttime slots and Sam cried

darlin grabs baby clothes every time they go out. they cried once in a baby section because of those cringe baby shirts that are like "future cowboy" Sam was not having it Sam held his ground in the delivery room, holding their hand and talking them through it.

they went to the hospital around the due date because if it happened during the day they wanted Sam to be there

When baby Collins was born Sam bawled hysterically

he held the baby for a little bit before handing them to Darlin

They cried to (not just from the pain)

Sam wouldn't let them get up for a few weeks

William was more than happy to give Sam some time off and of course, David was as well

the pack made sure they didn't have to make dinner for like 3 weeks after baby Collins was born, they would order them food or bring stuff by

The bass is pounding so hard that Clarke can see the sound waves in her cup of lukewarm beer. Her mind wanders to Jurassic Park and she wonders if she wouldn’t enjoy being hunted by a T-Rex more than being at this party.

Beside her, Finn Collins is apologizing profusely.

Again.

She knows he is speaking, but she’s not listening. She honestly doesn’t really care that he missed the opening of the art show. It wasn’t like she’d sent him an invitation. It was a small college-wide display that would be going on for weeks.

She sees a hand come in to her line of sight. When her eyes focus, she sees fingers snapping in front of her face. “Yo, Earth to Clarke.” Finn has successfully grabbed her attention, and her murderous gaze.

“Did you seriously just snap at me?” She furrows her eyebrows.

He doesn’t even flinch at her tone.

“Yeah I was seeing if I couldn’t make it up to you.” He shoots her what she’s sure is supposed to be a cute crooked smile. It really just makes her want to rearrange his face.

She sighs, trying to make it clear that she’s not interested, without having to actually say it. “Finn, look. I’m not sure what—“

He cuts her off with a hand on her forearm. “I know you’re upset, princess. But it won’t happen again. I promise.”

“What won’t?” Clarke shrugs her arm away from his touch just as his eyes wander to something behind her.

“Oh hey, Lexa. Can you give us a minute?” Finn asks.

Clarke doesn’t hear a response. Instead, she feels herself being turned around with a gentle grasp to her shoulder. It’s like she’s moving in slow-motion.

Clarke’s eyes briefly land on the determined face of one Lexa Woods before she’s suddenly too close to focus on.

Two soft palms cup Clarke’s jaw as slender fingers grasp around the back of her neck.

Then Lexa’s lips are on hers.

It’s so unexpected that Clarke hadn’t had a moment to ready herself. Lexa comes in too quickly, damn near chipping Clarke’s tooth.

Clarke can’t find it in herself to mind. Instead, she sinks in to the feeling of Lexa’s hands cradling her face.

Clarke wraps her hands around Lexa’s waist to pull her in tighter, just as she starts to feel Lexa pulling away.

Clarke can hear Finn muttering curse words under his breath as he wanders off.

“Jesus, Lex. What was that?!” Clarke all but squeaks. Now looking Lexa directly in the eyes.

Panic is the only word that could possibly describe the look on Lexa’s face.

“Shit. I just saw him over here bothering you again and I thought— I don’t know what I thought. I didn’t think.” Lexa’s rambling and Clarke can’t help but find it endearing. Leave it to Lexa to step in and save Clarke from unwanted advances. She’s just never been quite so bold about it.

“Lex.” Clarke tries to get her attention to calm her down.

“That was bad, wasn’t it?” Lexa winces.

“Absolutely terrible.” Clarke teases back with a grin. “You should do it again.”
