So....since Discotek is licensing Lady Georgie...I really hope they eventually license Alpen Rose too. And I also really hope we get the manga for both of these in English eventually. And a complete English release of Kyoko Ariyoshi’s Swan,but that’s for another day. Anyway...hopefully more shoujo to look forward to in the future!

So I read up on the 70s shoujo anime/manga,Candy Candy. And found out why we'll probably never get anymore content for the series. The artist was selling Candy Candy merchandise without the writer's permission. Which resulted in a huge ass lawsuit. So we'll most likely never even get the anime/manga licensed over here,let alone a remake. *long sigh* But Discotek is licensing Lady Georgie and Kaitou Saint Tail,and we're getting a new Hana no ko Lunlun donghua,so we're being fed!
