CG Hanzo w/ Regressor Takeda (Fic)

When Hanzo saw his Chujin, the boy seemed frustrated, upset.

Hanzo hadn't espect to see him this upset. Normally Takeda wasn't a hot headed individual.

But when he came back to spend a few days with the Shirai Ryu, he seemed cold, irritated by the smallest things. Blinking back tears as Hanzo hugged him.

Takeda wasn't supposed to stay for long, just a few days before heading back from Special Forces. Had something happened on base? Or did him and Jacqui get into a big fight?

Hanzo had sent Takeda to his room so he could unpack his things. Making some tea for the two to share, and maybe speak about what was bothering Takeda.

"Chujin?" Hanzo knocked, letting himself into the room after a moment. "I made us some-"

Takeda snapped, snapping his head towards Hanzo, "What?! I'm unpacking, what could you possibly want-"

Takeda took a step as he turned, knocking his side into the corner of the his old desk.

The corner, to be exact.

And he hit it hard

He winced in pain, holding his side as he stumbled slightly. Hanzo grimaced, knowing this would only irritate the boy more.

What Hanzo hadn't expected was for Takeda to punch the table.

"Fuck!' Takeda yelped, holding his wrist as he backed into his wall. "Fuck, fuck, fuck! Shit that hurt!"

"Of course it did, you punched your desk," Hanzo gently scolded, placiing the tea on the desk. "Let me see it. Your wrist was bent and your punch was sloppy. . . It doesn't look broken, nor did you make a mark. Are you okay?"

"'M fine," Takeda looked at the ground. Feeling ashamed of his childish actions. "Didn't mean to hurt the table."

"It's okay. Can I see your bruise?" Hanzo asked, Takeda pouted. "I want to know if it needs any ice or treatment."

Takeda nodded, lifting the side of his shirt. Hanzo frowned at the forming bruise. It was a bad one too.

"Alright, I'll send someone to get some ice-"

Takeda hiccuped, finally letting his tears flow. His side really hurt, and his wrist hurt too.

And there was his entire month. It had been so crappy, so irritating. Setting him in a bad mood when he left the base and followed him here. he felt so tiny and small when he got home, and right now wasn't helping.

Hanzo frowned, kneeling slightly so he could see Takeda's face, "Chujin? Tell me whats wrong."

"Hurts," Takeda mumbled, holding his side. "Hurts, Papa."

Hanzo was slightly taken back by the Papa title. Normally Takeda called him Bubba. Unless he felt smaller, or was upset.

"I know," Hanzo sent a quick text to one of his higher members to bring an ice pack to Takeda's room. he then opened up his arms, "Come here."

Takeda looked slightly suspicious, "Hug?"

"Hug," Hanzo confirmed.

Takeda rushed into Hanzo's arms, breaking down immanently. Hanzo wrapped his arms around Takeda, rubbing his back and swaying them. It helped Hanzo when he was upset. And it seemed to work on Takeda.

Takeda squeezed him harder, choking slightly. He had been so stressed all month, and it was all catching up so quickly.

He felt so small and tiny in Hanzo's arms. His mind felt fuzzy too, and he knew he was regressing very fast.

Takeda cried in Hanzo's arms for a small while before pulling away. The poor boy rubbed his puffy eyes. hiccuping softly. A small knock was at the door, and someone asked if Grandmaster Hasashi was inside.

Hanzo quickly grabbed the ice pack, and Takeda sat on his bed. Hanzo knelt in front of him, and Takeda lifted his shirt slightly so Hanzo could put the ice there. His side hurt badly. And his bruise looked like it was going to stick around for a bit.

"You know, Takeda, we can't hit things when we're upset," Hanzo said, pressing the wrapped ice against Takeda's side. Takeda hissed slightly at the temperature. "I know, bub, it's pretty cold."

"S'okay," Takeda mumbled, rubbing his eyes. "'M sorry for hitting the table, Papa. Was naughty of me."

"A bit, but I understand that you were frustrated," Hanzo ruffled his hair. "But next time we can't hit things when we're angry, okay? Is that what we do when things get stressful?"

"No," Takeda shook his head.

"What do we need to do first?"

"Breathe?" Takeda asked, looking confused. "Sleep?"

Hanzo held back a laugh, "Both very good answers. But we need to communicate about why we're so upset. Otherwise we could hit others."

Takeda nodded, "And that's not nice."

"Your very smart, Takeda," Hanzo praised, ruffling the boy's hair. Takeda's eyes lit up at the comment. Although his face went sad and almost pouty.

"Am I in trouble for hitting the table?" he asked.

"Well. . . This behavior isn't very nice nor acceptable," Hanzo said firmly, receiving a small nod. "However, I think we can let some things slide-"

"Really!" Takeda smiled, kicking his feet slightly.

"If," Hanzo continued, receiving a sheepish giggle from the boy, "you tell me why you were so upset. Rarely do I see such a fire from you, young Chujin."

Takeda frowned, his feet no longer kicking. He held his ice pack so hanzo could sit beside him. Hanzo put an arm around him, pulling Takeda into another hug as the boy began to cry again.

"Long month," Takeda finally said. "I- There's so much to do, Papa! It's been mission after mission, and when there's free time it's just training!"

Hanzo wrapped his arm around Takeda's shoulder, gently shushing him as Takeda began to cry again, "Let is all out, young one. When was the last time you slipped?"

"A month? Two? Didn't mean to, just didn't have any time!" Takeda frowned. "Want my Momma, Papa."

"Shall I call Jacqui?" hanzo offered, receiving a small hesitated nod. "I can still stay, young one. I won't leave if you don't want me to."

"Want cuddles and tv," Takeda looked hopeful. "And facetime Momma. . . On the tablet."

"Ah, Skype," Hanzo nodded. "We can do that."

". . . Love you, Papa," Takeda mumbled, rubbing his eyes. Although there was a small smile on his face

Hanzo smiled softly, "Love you too, Squirt."

Perhaps he should call Johnny or Sonya and tell them off.

. . . Okay, he definitely will, but Takeda didn't have to know that. . . yet.

All of the Special Forces were worried for her, mainly Jin. [Name] met Kung Jin and his uncle, Kung Lao when she and her mother decided to move in with them as best friends

As time progressed, the [Hair Color] woman accidentally got her long sleeved outfit stuck on the door handle when leaving, and Takeda was in pure shock

Poor baby will start feeling bad for you

Takeda would reassure her that there is nothing wrong with her scars

In fact, he would comfort her and share his scars with hers

He ends up hugging her, kiss her scars, and whispers sweet words to make her feel loved

"Once again, thanks for training with me, Takeda." She bows her head and looks up at him with the softest smile ever. The Shirai Ryu nods his head with a smile and tells her, 'No problem.' After he said that [Name] left the room, but she accidentally got her sweater stuck onto the door handle. Her eyes widened as she tries to get the sweater off of it, but as Takeda went up to help her with the door, he notices something... Off.

On her left arm, [Name] had some scars on that arm. His eyes widened at her arm before observing it, but [Name] pulls her sleeve back down on it and tells her.

"What was that, [Name]?" Takeda asked. "Nothing."

She hides her arms behind her back, trying to act all innocent, but Takeda didn't take it lightly. "That doesn't look like 'Nothing', what is on your arm?" "I promise you, it's nothing!" She tells him, with a bit of sadness yet anger in her tone. That's when Takeda yells at her with a bit of madness in his tone, "Stop lying!" The [Hair Color] woman's eyes widened as she felt her tears coming down her cheeks. Not once has she ever heard him talk like this to her, so she didn't know how to feel about it. Soon as Takeda seen the tears down her cheeks, he stops being angry and quickly apologizes to her, telling her that he was just a bit worried about her. Later on, [Name] explains to her teammate that she has depression due to finding out about her dad and mom splitting up. This all started like 2 or 3 days ago, when she gets a call from her younger twin brother that her parents finally filed a divorce since their father cheated on the mother. He listened to everything and he decides to pull her into his arms once again.

And next thing they knew, the two were showing one another their scars as they kissed them and comforted them. Takeda was happy to be the one to be there with your needs, and same thing with you, you loved Takeda for who he was.

Harumi Rose Hasashi was born on 3 May 1999

(Aliyaa x Hanzo Timeline)

🌻She is half-Japanese and half-Virginian, Which means when she grows older, She looks way younger than her real age. Yes, much like Edenians but different.

🌻 Harumi burns roses when she feels nervous or anxious. It is the only way for her to calm her nerves.

🌻Harumi is the second child of Aliyaa and Hanzo Hasashi. The first is Satoshi Salem Hasashi.

🌻After Harumi was born, Her father loves her so much that he spoils her and gives her most of the attention, Though he kept spoiling Satoshi too (his firstborn).

His first daughter died with his old family, So he couldn’t watch her grow and love her let alone spoil her. But God had mercy on him and gives a second chance to re-live these moments. (A/N: I don’t know if he had a daughter with his first family. But, let's go with this <3)

🌻Harumi and Satoshi share their parents' powers, Hellfire, and magic. He couldn’t be any happier to know his children are gifted, they have hellfire the same as him.

*When Aliyaa was pregnant he was so happy that he forgot he is the Grandmaster, He kept watching Aliyaa and protecting her. He even didn’t let her carry anything, Fearing that it was endangering his unborn babies' lives. She was annoyed but she let him help her.

*The healers told Hanzo that Aliyaa is pregnant with only one child. He was grateful for this. But the moment of giving birth, They are shocked to know there is another child in Aliyaa’s womb. And that was Harumi. Nonetheless, Hanzo is happy about this.

*Hanzo named His two children first names and Aliyaa named their second names.

*He saw so much of Harumi in his daughter so he named her Harumi. At first, he was afraid to suggest naming her Harumi but he did and to his shock Aliyaa accepted it.

*Most of the time, He got to carry Harumi as a baby. He loves her so much, He sang to her, rocked her, He carried her, He even fed her, And Aliyaa got to carry their baby-son.

🌻Harumi loves to be elegant, watering plants, Painting, cooking, sweets, writing, and helping people, She likes Japanese history and novels books, She loves to wear hanfus, and Kimonos, Hanbok and etc.

🌻Just like her mother, She loves self-care and being elegant in everything, she aspires to be like her mother.

🌻She is spoiled by her father, but he didn’t spoil her rotten, she is a responsible girl after all.

*Hanzo and Aliyaa taught their children how to use and control their powers. It was hard at first. But, now they mastered their powers.

🌻At the age of 9, Harumi showed signs of her hellfire powers, Which made Hanzo proud, she was very afraid that she started to cry. Her father immediately calmed her, He told her not to worry. He taught her and Satoshi how to master hellfire.

🌻Harumi was 13 when Takeda first came to the Shirai Ryu through his father Kenshi Takahashi, Harumi saw him as a little brother. She calmed him and played with him, she is like his older sister when he was all alone between strangers.

Takeda has grown to love Harumi and sees her as more than a sister, possibly a potential romantic partner, but he was afraid of the Grandmaster, Then Jacqui came into his life, He loves Jacqui now. It’s unbeknownst if he still has feelings for Harumi.

🌻At the age of 15 Harumi experienced her first period, she was very nervous and embarrassed, she was annoyed by the cramps in her lower belly, and she told her mother about this.

“Mom… I have something to tell you,” Harumi asked worriedly.

“What is it dear?” Her mother answered her.

“Mom… my lower belly hurts me and… Do you have a potion for me?” Harumi asked again.

“Oh, dear! This is okay, you are a woman now!” Her mother happily said.

“What do you mean by that?” Harumi asked.

“Is there blood when you pee? Her mother asked her.

“Yes.. but how did you know?” She muttered.

“Then this is what I think it is, you are having your monthly period,” Her mother replied, as she pours the tea into the cups, and sandwiches for her daughter.

“Honey, you must drink something hot and wear socks and slippers!” Her mother advised her.

“Okay, if you say so,” she told, Sitting on the bed near her mother.

Hanzo barged into the room, ”Aliyaa! Go check on our daughter if she is fine!” Hanzo commanded, he didn’t notice that Harumi was in the same room.

“Darling! You are here! how are you feeling!” He asked his daughter.

“Better Daddy!” She sweetly replied.

“I’m happy to hear this!” He muttered, then he hugged his daughter.

Then, All of them sat in the room, talking with each other and sipping tea.

🌻Once Harumi had reached 18, Hanzo was so afraid that she will start to think of love and marriage.

🌻On her 18 birthday, The gang gave her a lot of gifts. Even her other friends on her mother's side. They gave her a lot of precious gifts. Mainly older Aliyaa got her dream laptop. Hanzo gave her a traditional bow. Because he knows that she likes archery. Unbeknownst to Hanzo, Selviya gave her a magical girl brooch, To protect herself and her friends. She kept this a secret from her daddy.

Takeda once joked that her future boyfriend would be lucky if she was his girlfriend. To Hanzo’s dismay. He “gently” nudge Takeda’s elbow.

🌻She once asked if she can get a boyfriend her father immediately snapped at her. (Something all fathers would do xD) He regretted it afterward.

🌻Harumi knows that her father wants the best for her, And he knows more about life than her. She always listens to him, and she agrees with him on this. But deep down she wants to be loved like her mother and most of the girls like her age.

*Her mother once told her that she can’t love a guy without fully knowing him. Harumi agreed to this.

🌻She likes to play with her phone, computer, or even puzzle games.

🌻When she gets lonely she uses her fire powers to create a dragon made of her pure hellfire magic, she called him Allen.

*Hanzo Always calls her Shirai Ryu Princess. And she loved this and giggles when she remembers him saying it.

*Satoshi likes to pick on her sometimes, he just enjoys teasing her, Being the older brother he is.

*Jacqui gets extremely jealous of Harumi, whenever she passes by, Takeda looks at her and completely forgets about Jacqui.

🌻Harumi and Liling (Selviya and Kuai’s daughter) are extremely close friends, although these two have opposites powers, Fire and Ice being close friends.

🌻Harumi Always wonders about the other Harumi (Hanzo’s first wife). She always thinks about her, how she looks, and whether she will be jealous of her mother (Aliyaa).

She is still daddy’s girl, he loves to spoil her and makes desserts for her.

🌼She always feels like she is Rapunzel, A beautiful, young princess trapped in a temple instead of a tall tower, But she is grateful for her life since her daddy and mummy love her so much and care about her.

-One time, two foreign young handsome men lost their way to the city and ended up being near the Shirai Ryu territories, Hanzo immediately ordered them to leave, He wasn’t kind to them but his daughter was. They left the place, but tomorrow, they secretly return to the temple to meet the girl (Harumi).

-Once she saw The tall blonde-haired guy and blue eyes again, she falls in love with him, Hanzo wasn’t aware that these men are back at his temple.

“What’s your name?” She sweetly asked, waiting for his reply.

“My name is Nathan Spencer,” He replied, he is a bit embarrassed, and he was blushing while she was sweetly looking at him, offering him a lovely smile.

“What a lovely name! Mines Harumi Rose~” she muttered in her sweet sultry voice.

“Thanks!” He awkwardly replied.

Both locked their eyes for moments, Before Hanzo passes by and spotted them at his temple gates, he furiously came and ordered them to leave or things will get bloody.

“Hey! Didn’t I tell you both to leave yesterday?” He growled at the two men, The two men ran away once they saw Hanzo holding his Tānto.

🌻After this incident Hanzo reprimanded his daughter, It ended with her being unable to leave the temple without his permission let alone being near the gates.

“Do NOT go near the gates again, Am I clear? Shōjo! (young lady)” He reprimanded his daughter.

“Very clear, Otōchan,” She told him, “Good girl,” He gently said, patting her head then left.

He left, and while walking he regretted reprimanding her with his harsh usual tone, But part of him wants to believe he did the right thing.

He doesn’t want to see his daughter heartbroken because that man had manipulated her only to take her virginity, So in his heart and mind, he did the right thing.

🌻Harumi listened to her father and started to be only inside the temple, she isn’t allowed to go near the gate as her father ordered her. can’t help but falling in love with Nathan, and how hard she fall in love with him

🌻She kept studying, Training, and painting in her free time. Which made her father proud and glad.

🌼In the end, she loves her dad, mother, and her brother, She loves them all, she loves her family and everything about them <3

Alright I legit didn't see this before? Somehow???

Ok so basically, I've been working on a Mortal Kombat AU/Rewrite/whatever that I've been calling MK: Karnate (that's a working title, I need to figure out something more elegant). Legit all I want to do with it is take the parts of the franchise I like and smash them together like a stew

The post this ask was in reference to (I think) was because I had been figuring out how I wanted to incorporate the Kombat Kids in this timeline

(got kinda long winded about it. Oops!)

Now, for Jin, Cassie, and Jacqui this isn't too much of an issue. I mostly just want to give them more interesting stuff to do that sets them apart from their predecessors. Takeda however...

Well Kenshi is much younger than the rest of the Klassic Krew in this AU. Around the time of DA, he's 22. Cassie and Jacqui were born just after MK4 (which i think is best placed in 1994) and would be 8-ish. I think you can see the problem

So honestly my options for Takeda were either Kenshi being an extremely young father (which makes me uncomfy) or T himself being younger than his peers (not ideal). So he's not Kenshi's son anymore.

He's still related to him, and inherited the latent telepathy of the Takahashi clan. Suchin Takahashi is still his mother, but she was a former Shirai Ryu who married a distant relative of Kenshi's. Takeda's father was killed at some point (perhaps at the hands of the Red Dragon) and, in pursuit of vengeance, Suchin became a vigilante.

Kenshi, while working for SF, learns that the Red Dragon is preparing to kill her and it mostly follows the way it went in the MKX prequel comic.

Sensing the telepathic potential in the tiny Takeda, Kenshi decides that the best place for him would be with the last remaining Shirai Ryu. After all, in this AU I have Scorpion (and Sub-zero, of course) in a loose mentor role for Kenshi, so it's not weird that he'd trust Takeda with him.

This all boils down to Kenshi being more of a distant Older Brother to Takeda than a Deadbeat Dad, with Hanzo being allowed to actually be acknowledged as Takeda's surrogate/adoptive father.

I just think it's neat :3

Mortal Kombat 10 x reader: Chapter 3

2 weeks later

"Shit!"

"Watch your tongue!"

"I know you're a ninja and all but this is bull-ow!"

"You will learn to control yourself or die trying"

"In that case I am gonna die!"

Right now master Hasashi, as I am not to call him, has me balancing on one foot at the top of a 5 meter pole while his students at to hit me with pebbles, fuckers are accurate. He said this is to be an anger level test I call it 'hit Viper' so far this has gone on for 10 minutes "I swear to god I will-ow! Ok that's-" "Viper! Keep calm! If I even see one ember you will go without dinner!" I grumble to myself as I try not to flame up 'this sucks. I can take hits, it's when my friends are in danger or have been hurt I lose it' everything was fine, everything was alright I would not break for anything.

Until one of them managed to peg me in the head.

I flame up "that's it!" I yell jumping down from it and watch the students run off "Viper!" I flinch while I de-flame at the sound of my alias name and look to master Hasashi "yes?" "no dinner tonight" I wanted to argue but he warned me. I nod "yes grandmaster" I said bowing then walk away. I walk around the corner and bump into someone "sorry" I said not looking "it's fine, I should have been looking as well" I look to the owner of the voice and see "you are Takahashi Takeda right?" I asked "yeah how did you-" "master Hasashi talks of your progress in becoming chujin often" he smiles then looks at me for a while "what are you looking at?" he snaps out of his trance and blushes "s-sorry it's just you have such beautiful eyes. I've never seen anything like them" I blush a strawberry red that's visible even with my mask "h-how they're just a plain (eye colour)" "actually they're (non eye colour e.g Amber), have you never seen yourself in a mirror" I giggle a little "no not really, you also have lovely eyes" "thanks but I don't know you" "I'm Viper" he chuckled "ok now how about your real name" I frown "I'm sorry but I can't tell you" he looked confused "why not?" "Because I can't, not yet" I try to walk past him but he catches my arm "humour me or at least give me a clue" I sigh and look back to him "I'm not who I appear to be yet I am, I'm younger than the people I once knew even though I should be older, I am the question and answer to Earthrealm" I left as soon as I said those words.

I walked to my quarters which are next to master Hasashis' and collapse on my futon "this sucks" I muttered into my futon. My body ached from the pebbles and bruises already began to form as I was about to rest I heard a knock at the door "unless the temple is under attack go away" I said lifting my head momentarily. I hear the door slide open and closed and felt someone sit on the futon next to me "lady (Name)-" "that's Viper to you, Master Hasashi" I said interrupting him he sighs "I know training with us is painful but how else do you expect to become stronger" "hate to burst your Zen bubble, master, but I trained with Mileena in outworld for a year. I think I know pain" he chuckles "be that as it may you still lack-" "I swear to god you say 'discipline' I will burn you" "no you lack self-control with your fire. You need to control your temper or you will burn those you care about" I had a quick flashback of when I burnt Mileena "I know, I have already" I sit up on my knees and face Master Hasashi "master-" "in private you may call me Hanzo" "Hanzo, I'm worried" he gives me a confused look "about what?" "Last time I was here I done my best to prevent my friends deaths and now that I'm back nothing's changed. What if this time I make things worse?" I said looking down. Hanzo lifts my chin up with his hand "you are (Name) (last name), a pyromancer and a member of the Shirai Ryu, you will not fail you will succeed" he said smiling I nod when he let go of my chin "Hanzo I would like to make a request..." I said looking him in the eye "in 5 years' time I would request that you send me to work for the special forces and not tell them of my true identity, there are things I must prevent from happening" he looked at me for a while "I shall consider your request" I smiled under my mask "thank you" he reached out his hand and placed it on my mask "(Name)" I was surprised this is the first time he ever called me by my name without putting 'lady' before it "if I grant you your request will you return to us, to me?" I blush at his words and as he pulls my mask down "I-" he pulls me in for a hug and holds me "I do not think my heart could bare you staying away. So please return to us" I held him tightly I couldn't just tell him about being Mileena's queen, it would probably break his heart "I will Hanzo I promise" I said as he let me go I see his smiling face which made me smile "thank you *pulls my mask back up* Viper" he stands and then leaves.

I was about to lay down when another knock on the door was heard "come in" I called out making sure my mask was on when Takeda walked in "hey" he said sitting down "hey" I replied smiling "you and master Hasashi seem really close" I chuckle "you could say that, we have known each other for a long time" "how long?" "Since the last mortal kombat tournament" he looked shocked "but that was over 20 years ago! How old are you?" "I know and I'm 21" "I don't understand" "you will one day, Takeda" for a few moments we were silent "so um...if you don't mind maybe you and I could hang out some time?" I blushed looking at him "I um...I guess that would be ok but do you have time during your training?" he smiles "I should but not until next month, that's when my test to decide whether I become chujin or not is" I place a hand on his shoulder "I believe in you, you will succeed" he smiles happily "right but I need to know what you're doing here? Not that I'm unhappy meeting you but up until 2 weeks ago I've never heard of you" I start to undo my hair "ever heard of Mileena?" "Of course! She was the Queen of outworld" "no she was the King of outworld" "but I thought she would have been the queen" "no she preferred king, besides she already had a queen" "oh yeah who?" "No one's sure. Not many people got to see the queen and only knew that Mileena loved to call her pretty bird" he nods "so you're from outworld?" he asked "that's right"

"So why are you here?" "Master Hasashi is training me to control my rage or to be specific" I light my hand on fire startling him "my fire" he looked at it in awe "wow, so you're a pyromancer like the grandmaster?" "more or less, he uses hell fire I use regular fire" I make the flames disappear and run my fingers through my hair and feel Takeda hold some of it "*chuckles* you like my hair?" he quickly drops it and blushes looking away "s-sorry! It's just...your hair is so long it reminds me of my mothers' and how I used to play with it as a child before she died" my smile drops instantly and sit closer to him then hug him, I feel him become stiff under my touch "I can understand how you must feel. I lost many friends and relatives at a young age. At age 4 I lost my grandmother, age 8 I lost my father, then I lost my grandfather and aunt at age 15 and finally at age 18 I lost 3 people I grew some-what close to" I smiled as I felt him hug me back "t-thanks" he stuttered. I let him go allowing him to stand up "I um should probably go and if you need help training I'd be more than happy to assist you" he said "that's sounds nice I'd appreciate" I yawned laying down he nods and leaves as I fall asleep.

1 month later

3rd P.O.V

the abandoned city previously seen in Chapter 1. Takeda walks through the devastated remains of the once vibrant metropolis, outfitted in the yellow garb of the Shirai Ryu. He warily scans his surroundings, but there are no signs of life throughout the entire urban wasteland. He approaches the edge of a building, taking cover next to it. As he peeks around the corner, a chained kunai impales itself into the concrete inches from his head. Hanzo Hasashi pulls his weapon back into his grasp. Takeda charges at him with a scissors kick, but the two strikes are blocked easily by Scorpion. He throws several more kicks, but Hanzo evades them all. The former wraith goes on the offensive with several punches, two of which Takeda isn't quick enough to block. He takes them full in the face. Takeda rallies and jumps into a spin kick. Hanzo avoids the kick, but Takeda grabs one of his holstered swords from his back. It takes the Shirai Ryu master a few moments - and a double take - before he realises what Takeda did. When he does, he pulls out the other sword and readies himself.

The two ninjas engage in a swordfight, each parrying the other's swipes at lightning quick speed. After Hanzo dodges a swipe at his waist, Takeda throws his sword directly at his master's sword-hand. Scorpion blocks the attack and sends the stolen sword soaring skywards, but that gives Takeda the opening to charge forward and jump-kick his master square in the face. Hasashi falls down hard, and Takahashi catches the falling sword. He swings it downward, but stops it an inch from his master's neck. For a moment he does nothing but give his mentor a knowing look "Yield" says Takeda looking down on his master. Hanzo flashes a brief smile "Well done" Hanzo says congratulating Takeda. He lightly pushes the sword away and offers his hand. Takeda accepts it and pulls him to his feet "You are now Chujin" He places a hand on his chest and bows. Takeda bows in response and offers him back his sword "You honour me, Master Hasashi" clapping is heard in the distance. They turn their heads to see 'Viper' walking towards them "nice job, Takeda. I knew you could do it" she said smiling under her mask Takeda blushes a little at her compliment then turns back to Hanzo giving him back the blade "Now that I'm Chujin, how will I serve the clan?" "Your future does not lie with the Shirai Ryu" Takeda looked to Viper for an answer but received a shrug "But... the clan's my family" Hanzo turns away, but continues speaking "When I took you in, I promised your father—" "I don't have a father" Takeda says interrupting Hanzo.

"Yes you do. One who's proud of you. A Chujin in record time" The blind swordsman bows to Takeda, but the younger man looks furious rather than happy "You knew he was coming? You said nothing?!" Takeda asked Hanzo and Viper furious "Knowing this would be your reaction, yes" Hanzo replies, Takeda turns to Viper "and you?" he asked "no" she replied shaking her head. Takeda moves forward, ready to attack his father "Takeda! Your father is not your enemy" Hanzo warns him but the younger Takahashi remains unconvinced, and he addresses the elder Takahashi directly "Ten years. No visits, nothing. You abandoned me" "I did not abandon you—" "I was eight! My mother had just died! NOW you come back? Think you can jump right in as the proud dad?" "Son, I—" He tries to touch Takeda's shoulder, but finds his hand angrily slapped away "To hell with you! I am not your son!"

They fight. Reluctant to fight his own flesh and blood, Kenshi is soon at the disadvantage against the newly minted Chujin. After a brief melee, he is soon down on the ground thanks to his son "Now get up! I wanna knock you down again!" Takeda says as Kenshi is rising, Takeda moves in to strike him again when Viper placed a hand on his shoulder "Takeda, your father didn't abandon you" she said making Takeda turn to her "then what do you call leaving me here after my mother dies?" he growled "I call it protecting you from your mothers murderers" "She... she died in an accident!" "That is the story I asked Master Hasashi to tell you" Kenshi said as he stands to his feet "But in truth, your mother was killed by Red Dragon assassins. I was the target. Suchin was the victim" Takeda growls in fury and lunges forward, grabbing Kenshi by his outfit "Son of a bitch! It was your fault!" He makes no move to strike him, though. Viper gently removes his hands and moving him a few feet away from his father while still holding his hands "Takeda. Takeda look at me" Viper says getting Takeda to look at her and letting go of his hands "think about it, if he had told you the truth you would have went after them un-prepared and would have been killed. Kenshi would have been crushed enough as it is by your mother's death had you died as well he would have probably lost the strength to move on. He has devoted his life and time to fighting monsters like the red dragon they are at fault here not him" Takeda seemed to calm down at her words and Takeda says nothing, but slowly processes the information he's being told "Master Hasashi has perfected your fighting skills" Kenshi said.

His next words echo in Takeda's head, rather than being spoken aloud "(Telepathically) Now it is time to complete your training" Takeda instinctively puts his hand to his head, in the stance he will later adopt when putting his own telepathic skills to use "How—how did you do that?" "(Telepathically) we are telepaths. A family gift" "I can read minds?" "(Telepathically) through training, we will determine your full abilities" He reverts to speaking his next words "And then we will hunt down the Red Dragon. Together" He puts a hand on Takeda's shoulder. This time it is not slapped away. Viper looks to Hanzo and smiles as he does the same to her, Kenshi walks up to viper and bows "(telepathically) it is not wise to hide you're true identity, lady (Name), you must tell your friends you are alive at some point" Vipers eyes widen slightly hearing Kenshi's voice and tested to see if she could send a message back "(telepathically) I know, I will reveal myself when the time is right but for now I shall be known as viper" Kenshi smiles "until we meet again, master Hanzo, Viper" Kenshi said bowing then walks away ushering Takeda to follow, Takeda turns to Viper "(telepathically) but I don't want to leave her" Viper could tell that Takeda wanted to stay but she thought it was because the Shirai Ryu became his home. She nodded to him with a look in her eyes telling him to go. He smiles and walks beside his father.

Viper breathes a sigh of relief "now he can begin" she said looking to Hanzo "yes, and now you begin your training to control the movement of your fire" she nods and prepare to train.

5 years later

A fire ball twirls in the sky around the temple creating a fire halo around it "HEADMISTRESS VIPER! THE GRANDMASTER WISHES TO SEE YOU!" one of the students shouted causing the fire ball to descend to the ground. Just before it hit the ground it stopped and began to shrink until it formed into ,a slightly older, (Name), her body held a few scars including one across her cheek which was light and almost unnoticable others were on her arms and some on her back both from her training with Mileena and training with Hanzo. she nods to the student and walks to Hanzos' chambers "Master Hasashi?" she called out "you may enter, mistress Viper" she heard him reply. She enters the room and kneels before him "you summoned me, master?" "The time has come for you to leave" Viper was confused "you requested, 5 years ago, that I let you join the Special forces. I have talked to general Blade about it and she has allowed me to send you. Do not worry she only knows of your alias name" (Name)s' eyes widen "I-I didn't think I would leave this early in the year. Thank you master" she bows to him when a hand under her chin brings her up to look at Hanzo "as much as it pains me to see you leave I trust you shall return?" (Name) smiled and placed a hand on Hanzos' cheek "I will, I promised didn't I?" she chuckled. Hanzo looked deep into (Name)s' (hair colour) eyes and placed his hands upon her cheeks "(Name)" he whispered as he leaned in just as their lips were about to connect they were interrupted by a knock at the door making them quickly jump apart. "Master Hasashi, General Blade is here for mistress Viper" the voice said behind the door. (Name) looked to Hanzo as they both stood and walked out to the courtyard where Sonya blade was waiting in front of a black portal outlined with a vibrant purple glow. (Name)s' eyes widen slightly at the sight of the slightly older looking Sonya. Once (Name) and Hanzo are before Sonya they bow "General blade, I present to you my strongest kunoich, Viper. I believe she'll be a valuable asset to your unit" Hanzo said as he and (Name) rise up.

Sonya looked (Name) over and nodded "welcome the SF Viper, I'm general Sonya blade" Sonya said holding a hand out to shake, (Name) looked at it then back to Sonya and grabbed her hand and shook it then let go "you are to be assigned to my team of the next generation unit is that clear?" Sonya asked (Name) nodded causing Sonya to look at Hanzo "can she talk?" she asked "she can but only when around people she feels...comfortable with" he replied. Sonya looked back to (Name) "alright, follow me. I'll show you the people you'll be working with" and with that they begin walking to the portal before (Name) even set foot through it she looked back at Hanzo and smiled then walked through the portal leading to the SF base.

The scene cuts to Team S-F's plane touching down at a refugee camp policed by the Special Forces. The blind swordsman Kenshi - aged and greying as well - walks over to the plane. The scene cuts to a few minutes later, after Johnny and Team S-F have disembarked from the plane "So when did they show up?" Johnny asked Kenshi "The portal opened by the docks a few hours ago. Nearly five thousand in all. Refugees from the Outworld civil war" Kenshi replied "Must be bad if they risked coming to Earthrealm" Kenshi turns to Kung Jin "After you" As Jin, Cassie, Jacqui and Johnny all walk into one of the command tents, Kenshi stops Takeda and puts a hand on his shoulder "(Telepathically) Do not dwell on your encounter with the Lin Kuei, son" Kenshi said in Takedas' mind, Takeda sighs out loud "(Telepathically) Kinda hard not to"

They both walk into the command tent. Amidst all of the Special Forces soldiers at various monitors, Raiden stands over a beautiful young woman, who despite looking vaguely Asian is no doubt from Outworld. She is seated and nursing a hot drink as Kenshi and Takeda walk over. General Sonya Blade - looking startlingly young for almost fifty - turns when she sees them approaching. Then the four took notice of the unfamiliar girl "general Blade who is that?" Cassie asked causing the girl to turn to them. Her eyes widen and she smiles Takeda quickly gets over his shock and engulfs her in a hug smiling "Viper it's been forever!" he said happily and blushing "hey Takeda. I missed you too" (Name) replied, in the background Sonya and Johnnys' eyes widen at the familiar voice 'no it couldn't be' Sonya thought 'impossible' Johnny shook his head thinking it was just a coincidence. The two of them separate as Kung Jin smiles "nice to see you again, Viper" he said as he received a hug from (Name) "you too, Jin" she replied letting go and turning back to Raiden.

"Thanks, Kenshi. Could you and Mister Cage join us?" Sonya said as she perches on the side of a nearby table near the woman. Cassie begins to walk over as well, and Sonya addresses her while barely looking in her direction "Sergeant Cage, you and your team as you were" She turns away. Cassie is clearly annoyed by this, and shares a glance with her father. At his silent request, she does as she's told 'Sonya, you're attitude is even colder that last time' (Name) thought sadly as she stood between Kung Jin and Takeda "This is Li Mei. She seeks asylum for her people in Earthrealm" Raiden said looking to Lie Mei "Our village, Sun Do, was the epicentre of a fierce battle. We barely escaped with our lives" she said sadly "Such is war" Johnny said. A moment of silence passes "I mean, no offense, but... you Outworlders kinda live for that, right?" Johnny said trying to fix his mistake "This was different. The rebels, Mileena, had a weapon unlike anything... Entire battalions, erased. It was not honourable. Not kombat" (Name) perked up at the mention of Mileena catching the attention of Cassie "Tell me more about the weapon" Raiden requested "A talisman. Gold, with a centre jewel. Mileena wields it's crimson energy without precision" "Well, that's good then—" "Not now, Sergeant Cage" Sonya interrupted making Cassie look downcast as Li Mei continues "It is enough that she possesses it. It turns the tide in her favour. The emperor grows desperate. And those caught in the middle... pay the price" "If this talisman is what I suspect it to be, we may all pay a price" Raiden says grimly "We talking about Shinnok's Amulet?" Kung Jin asked, Sonya looked to Raiden "Can't be. The base, the vault, your warding's? S-F, Shaolin, no way anyone can get past all that" (Name) decided to speak up "actually there is"

All the attention was on her now Sonya crossed her arms in interest "really? How exactly could anyone get in an out?" "I know much of Outworld and Mileena, she has the Tarkatans on her side as well as two edenians one with the ability to use fire similar to mine named Tanya and the demigod, the son of Argus, Rain, who has the ability to control water and turn into it. The only way for them to take the amulet would be for Rain to use his abilities to sneak in and switch out the real amulet for a fake one or simply a hired man who is exrtemly talented and has had a lot of experience" Raiden nods "I must be certain" He leaves the tent. Johnny breaks the silence "Well, this is cozy" Johnny said trying to lighten the mood. Sonya says nothing, but glares at him with an annoyed expression. Li Mei notices the tension between them and tries to cool it off and turns to Johnny "You remind me of an Earthrealmer who crossed over with us. He also found humour in everything" she said "Handsome guy, right?" Johnnys' joke is seemingly lost on Li Mei "He was an Earthrealmer. One of his eyes... glowed red" At this, Johnny and Sonya realise exactly who she means "Who does she mean?" Kung Jin asked Jacqui earning a shrug in response while Viper quietly growled at the mention of the red eyed bastard "Kenshi, continue with Li Mei. I'm going to the refugee camp. Gotta get to him before he finds a way out" Sonya says as she starts walking outside. Johnny falls in with her "I'll come with" Sonya stops at once and addresses Johnny directly "Go get an update on camp security from Colonel Flagg "Why?" "Because then you won't be here"

Cassie looks more outraged than her father does and starts forward. Johnny motions for her to stand down and then leaves the tent without another word. Sonya watches him as he leaves, and doesn't look away until Cassie addresses her "Are we with you?" "No*turns to Cassie* I need to confirm with Kotal Kahn that Li Mei's story is true. You and your team are going to Outworld. Viper" (Name) looks directly at Sonya "keep them safe" (Name) bows with her right hand over her heart "yes, General Blade" she replied. Sonya turns around and leaves the tent without another word. Cassie walks up to (Name) "why did she ask you to keep us safe? We can handle ourselves" (Name) nodded "I know that very well miss Cage but-" "please just call me Cassie" "alright then Cassie, she asked me to keep you safe because I lived in Outworld for a year there for I know their rules and how they work...to an extent due to the fact that I left the day Mileena was wrongfully overthrown by Kotal Khan" the four were surprised by this new information "alright then, we'll leave inthe morning"

that night as (Name) sleeps her dreams take her to a strange place. she finds herself floating in a sea of stars she looked around herself to find the elder gods surrounding her. she raises an eyebrow and crosses her arms "you guys really know how to fuck someone over. you know that right?" she asked annoyed "speak with respect child" they scolded gaining her to raise her hands in defense "alright shees can't take a joke. but in all seriousness you have to understand where I'm coming from. after two years from, my perspective, you decided to bring me back here not that I'm unhappy about it honestly i love these guys they're my friends but you know how this will play out that things will turn out well in the end so help me understand why i'm here?" for a few moments it was silent

RP PET PEEVES / DEALBREAKERS : depends on the day tbqh, somedays i'm lenient, somedays every little slight against patience irks me - but my exposure to these things is limited because i don't tend to follow people that: stir in negativity / interact with anon hate / over-format their posts / don't cut replies / linger on the superficial aspects of muse interactions / demean my muses and their agency.

MUSE PREFERENCES : monsters / the people left behind / hope against odds / apathy vs rage / persisting, even so

PLOTS OR MEMES : plotted threads for drawn out roleplays, memes for a quick back and forth where we develop our muses relationship or as a quick pick me up / something to write when I dont have the brain/time for a proper reply.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES : an average of around 3-5 paragraphs at least, though there are outliers. i feel like my writing is a little stilted sometimes, so i try to compensate with scenery dressing and an insight into the muse's thoughts.

BEST TIME TO WRITE : when I'm busy and can't write, obviously. but seriously, having the focus for it is the hardest part for me - other than that, I can write pretty much anywhere, even if it's just me pre-writing on my phone or plotting out what happens next in discord dms.

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S) : something something insert text about the human experience and how we are all capable of acts of great compassion and great violence — there's facets of me in every character i write, but i wouldn't say i'm like any of them in specific. i just latch onto pain and misery because it's something i know well, what can i say.

Regressor Takeda Takahashi Hcs

🏵 Regresses to about 2-7

🏵 Normally about a toddler headspace

🏵 But can go bigger or smaller depending on his day (has one of the biggest age ranges out of all his friends)

🏵 Clingy baby, constantly wants your attention

🏵 And asks a million question

🏵 What are you doing? Oh, boring big kid work? Can he help? Well why cant he help? He's smart enough!! Oh, it's really important big kid work? Well can he work beside you?

🏵 His ‘work’ is coloring, it's a tough like our here at four years old :(

🏵 Really likes coloring and making you pretty pictures :3

🏵 He's very proud of his pictures too!! (And he'll usually have you choose what he colors he uses)

🏵 If you put his pictures on the fridge, he'll get all giggly and blushy (and embarrassed when he's bigger because the entire Special Forces can see it on the fridge)

🏵 Has rarely ever regressed at work but has regressed quite often because of work

🏵 It's stressful, he's gonna do this, do that, beat this guy up, travel through a thick forest

🏵 The first time he regressed at work it was because Sonya kicked him a bit too hard and in a really mean voice told him to get up or quit

🏵 Usually it's a banter she has with the Kombat Kids, but he was already having a super stressful day and it kinda broke him :(

🏵 Don't worry, Johnny took him to the side to play and get patched up while the others got their training done, and Sonya said she was sorry

🏵 He's has a close few times where he's almost slipped during training, but usually ends up regressing during end of the day paperwork and his shifts almost done

🏵 Very much a go with the flow guy

🏵 He'll want your opinion on everything!!

🏵 What does he want for dinner? No, what do WE want for dinner? :D (he'd prefer Mac and cheese though)

🏵 Is NOT allowed to touch his weapons while small, but he wasn't the one who had the incident that established that rule

🏵 He did, however, prompt Jin on to use his bow to shoot an apple (it went incredibly poorly, thankfully no one got hurt)

🏵 Most preferred punishment is the naughty step because he feels too silly standing in the corner

🏵 (^ Will sit in a chair in the corner though, just not when its facing the corner)

🏵 Also, you've gotta be in the room when he's actively doing his punishment

🏵 And any attempt to leave the room will cause his immense stress

🏵 You know when I mention he's a clingy baby? He has a constant fear that your going to leave him too

🏵 (I think Kenshi did the best thing he knew to do at the moment, but should have kept somewhat in touch before coming back and trying to act like Dad)

🏵 On days this fear gets super bad, he'll cling to you like you'll turn into dust at any moment

🏵 Getting incredibly fussy when you have to even just leave the room

🏵 His relationship with Kenshi is . . . iffy, but not as bad as it use to be

🏵 His father figure is Hanzo, but he's grown to see Kenshi as a second fatherish or uncle like figure (close but never quite that father son bond)

🏵 Kenshi is actively trying to fix that bond, but also understands it'll never fully be there

🏵 Takeda never celebrated Father's Day until he was about 21 and when he was little, he made both Hanzo and Kenshi really messy picture drawings and those drawing have been framed and hung on their walls

🏵 Has had moments where he's clinged to Kenshi sobbing while being small, but only on really bad days

🏵 Kenshi and Hanzo are also in full support of this coping mechanism

🏵 Takeda isn't a rule breaker usually, but can lose common sense sometimes

🏵 Really the thought process of “We could bake these cookies at 350 for 6 minutes . . . Or at 700 for 2 minutes!! :D”

🏵 . . . Don't let him near a stove while small

🏵 Whenever he does break a rule, it's usually an accident and he never really means to

🏵 Borderline leash kid when he's regressed in public

🏵 Will wall off because he saw something interesting, but then wonder where you are and why your not following after a few steps

🏵 Just make sure to hold his hand, he'll be much less prone to just immediately wall off, and will instead try to drag you or tug on your sleeve excitedly

🏵 Not exactly a biter . . . But also not not a biter

🏵 He finds your reaction funny >:3

🏵 Will never bite hard though!! Only soft noms

🏵 If you really want him to stop, but I'm that one episode of Yo-Gabba-Gabba where the entire lesson is about not biting your friends, even if it seems fun

🏵 Likes TV, but likes older things (Shirai Ryu technology is outdated and has only recently got caught up)

🏵 Likes old shows like Rugrats (will play Reptuar while watching it) or Golden Girls (big or small, it's secretly a favorite of his)

🏵 Naptime with him is quite easy, you've just gotta convince him that he wants naptime

🏵 Again, very chill regressor, so if he doesn't wanna go to bed yet, just tell him that his body's getting all sleepy and it needs to go ni ni!!

🏵 Almost every single time, this explanation is good enough for him

🏵 Very rarely you'll ever have to put on a five minute timer so he can play a bit more

🏵 However, if you don't watch the time, he'll stay up playing until 2 AM

🏵 If you believe bedtime is a social construct and is silly, then y'all get to hang out until the sun rises!! :D (and pass out as soon as 6 AM hits)

🏵 Although if you gently remind him of the time, he'll get all surprised and fussy because he honestly didn't realize!!! Please don't get too upset with him, he was just playing with his dinosaurs :(

🏵 Main CGs are you or Jacqui

🏵 Will show his appreciation to you by making you pictures or other crafts

🏵 Or helping you out!! He'll put the clothes into the laundry, just tell him what buttons to press!! :D

🏵 Little lost puppy over here will follow you around everywhere while small, you don't have personal space (unless you ask for it) it's OUR personal space

🏵 Likes being babysat, although would prefer you

🏵 But that isn't fair because Cassie gives him extra candy and Jin let's him break rules

🏵 Frost has never babysat him, but she's a lot nicer around him when he's tiny

🏵 ^ However, she does take her title of Big Sissy very seriously and will secretly give Takeda stuff (candy, a new plushie, etc)

🏵 Loves any and all nicknames you give him!!!

🏵 Baby Boy, Sweet Thing, Rascal, Squirt, Little One, Sweetheart

🏵 ^ Those are just a few, but he'd melt at anything you said to him

🏵 Would giggle if you called him a brat (but you have to not actually mean it)
