Seventeen Reaction: When their gf (you) goes through surgery.

S.Coups:

He would be worried. You called him saying you were going into surgery and the entire time he was freaking out. He kept his phone near him at all times until he got a call from you saying that you were ok. As soon as he knew you were good, he made his way to the hospital so he could comfort you (bc he knows how scary hospitals can be).

Jeonghan:

He feels sympathy for you. He’s recently gone through a surgery for his elbow, so this isn’t anything new to him. He will not leave your side. (Until the doctors make him) if you’re there for a couple days, he stays there overnight in case anything happens, he wants to be there and make you feel comfortable.

Joshua:

Shua would be very supportive and never leave your side. He's worried, but he won't show it because he doesn't want to scare you. He wants you to be ok and he will not go anywhere unless you need something. Holds your hand as they wheel you back to surgery and and waits in the waiting room until he's told he can come see you after your surgery. Get yourself a Josh <3

Jun:

Probably the most impatient person on this planet. Idk why but I get the feeling that he'd be asking the doctors a lot of questions. "Jun, stop bombarding the doctors with questions and let them do their job!" "Ok Y/N, but I just have 1 more question!" He might start stressing out the closer your surgery gets and it might stress you out but as soon as he realizes your stressed he calms down and tries to help you get comfortable. Also holds your hand going back to surgery <3

Hoshi:

He's not one for public displays of affection but.. before you go back to your surgery, when you start getting nervous, he's like "omggg🥺 my babyyy it's going to be ok. I'll be right here when you get out of surgery and I'll bring you your favorite snacks for being so brave." He just wants you to calm down and not freak out so much. Doesn't show it, but once your back at surgery, he starts freaking out and hopes that you get through the surgery well.

Wonwoo:

Omgg cutieee🥺 If you start to really freak out this man just... casually climbs onto your hospital bed and cuddles you. The doctors let it happen because he's not doing any harm, he's just cuddling his baby. When it's time to go back to surgery, holds your hand pt3. Never sits down while your in surgery. He just paces back and forth in the waiting room. When you get out of surgery, he has your favorite movie and snacks and you two cuddle and watch the movie on his computer<3

Woozi:

Literally just tries to keep your mind off of the fact your in a hospital. Your room is decorated with cute pictures of the two of you and some streamers (The doctors think it's cute). He pulls up a chair so he can sit next to your hospital bed and plays the guitar and blesses you with his vocals before your surgery. While your in surgery, he writes a short little song verse about you and sings it to you as soon as your out of surgery. Get yourself a jihoon <3

I think all of them would be fairly nervous but they wouldn't want to make you more nervous so they just try to distract themselves and you at the same time. Trying to distract you from the surgery and overall, be amazing boyfriends.

Yes sirrrr... So back in school I was dating this girl and we were really hitting it off, we even matched our schedules, talked during and post school more like 13-14 hrs min 🤡 (the puppy love.. We all did it). BUT we kinda kept it secret because people always shipped us together.

Ok so almost 2 weeks before the trip there was a MUN (Model United Nations) conference at our school. So we also use to play anonymous chits as a fun game before the final results were announced (MUN people know). So in that very conference, we both (me and girlfriend) were participating and we had different portfolios.. So i sent this very good and nice full of compliments chit to her and she knew it's me BBBBUUUUTTTTT! My gf on the other hand messed up with my portfolio and she sent this chit which was suppose to go to me but went to this random dude. She was embarrassed AF! , 😂😂 but i had no clue while this other guy started boasting that yo ik I'm that great etc etc. And even approached her post conference while I couldn't obviously hit him because a. I don't have the apt reason acc to public info. b. My gf was already quite embarrassed and just wanted to get away from anyone.

The only reason that guy took her name to boast that girls fall left and right while talking about him, his looks etc. Really made me as you say sarr phod do.

Eventually that relationship ended and it ended on good terms and we still talk sometimes but I always mention that incident and it's just a funny memory for both of us now.

So yes that's it... Man to man 🤝

I... maybe be stupid because when I got to that scene my brain rapidly flicked between "BABY TOTOKO FLASHBACK...? TOTOKO BABY SIBLING...? TOTOKO'S FAMILY FRIEND NEW BABY...?" until Sof (my bf whom I was watching it with) piped up "TOTOKO'S BROTHER???" he says he's more of a casual Ososan fan and is mostly invested in Kara as a character and supporting his gf's special interest but still picks up on details like that before said gf. his brain is enormous (like his d

when I saw that this movie was directed by Hikaru Yamaguchi who started her career as an animator on Deen Higurashi I joked "this movie better have punishment games and time loops" but I was surprised when it DID kinda turn into a time loop story in the last 15 minutes or so, or at least Totoko tries to turn it into one but Reality Ensues? I think my only major problem with the movie was how that interesting idea wasn't fleshed out particularly well, and they don't explain how they broke out of their "time loop" at all - they do imply Totoko, Matsuyo and DekaDayon came out of the experience making small positive changes in their lives but they don't SHOW them coming to the conclusion that they SHOULD. it felt like the movie skipped the big emotional climax and cut right from a random exterior shot to the denouement

that said, even if the movie stumbled at the last hurdle I did really enjoy 90% of it - I'm a Hipipo apologist but I do think TakoPa is the FUNNIER movie, with super snappy comedic pacing and jokes coming thick and fast (...heh) as opposed to Hipipo's meandering pace and repetitive jokes, only really finding its comedic footing about halfway through when there's a timeskip indicated by the Matsus getting their tans (and stumbling a bit even then). just like my favourite parts of Hipipo were the boys bonding and vibing with the tribe, my favourite parts of TakoPa were the whole Akatsuka Ward gang just hanging out and having fun, each getting their little moments to shine but ultimately being one big, very weird found family

come to think of it Hipipo and TakoPa kinda feel like two sides of the same coin: people are inevitably gonna have preferences but ultimately, it's a good thing that last year gave us a movie for people who love the broad, cartoony, larger-than-life aspects of the show (hello) while this year gave us one for those love the down-to-Earth, slice-of-life aspects. I think that's a better way to celebrate Osomatsu-san's 6th anniversary even if this year is its 8th anniversary but the official Twitter still says TakoPa is for the 6th so just go with it (and, coincidentally, Osomatsu-kun's 60th anniversary) than giving us one big movie that tries to be too many things at once and fails at all of them (...like the time they already did that. this is a certified Eiga no Osomatsu-san (2019) hate blog.) I'm kinda surprised I haven't seen anything about a double feature screening of both in Japan because that would just feel so right

one of the few things Hipipo and TakoPa have in common is some nice moments of wordless storytelling: Hipipo had the three montages of the Matsus interacting with the tribe and TakoPa's opening 10 minutes are almost dialogue-less, save for some background character chatter and an "itadakimasu" from Oso. both could be seen as a budget-saving measure to get around the expensive seiyuu cast, but they also work as an artistic choice - if they commit to the bit and make s4 into a straight-up silent comedy as a way to resolve the issue of the title character's iconic voice actor being a scumbag, I'll be all for it tbh

as enjoyable as TakoPa is, it's still ultimately an hour long bottle episode, with only previously established locations and characters (Nyaa's daughter gets more screentime than ever before to the point where she FEELS like a new character, and an absolutely precious one at that, but her existence WAS pre-established in s3) and taking place mostly in the main characters' home - not inherently bad, but an odd choice for possibly the last piece of "mainline" media in a franchise. the only thing that kept it from being completely underwhelming in that regard was some smart meta commentary that the Japanese fandom also picked up on so it definitely wasn't just me projecting: Totoko (we, the fans) wanted to keep the party (show) going forever in order to escape her (our) cruel reality and feelings of inadequacy, even at the cost of making her friends (the staff) burnt out as fuck. I find it deeply meaningful that the party did, in fact, end (even if they glossed over HOW), and they didn't give the movie a surreal, nihilistic ending like so many episodes of the show - if Totoko can continue to work on her idol career, Dekapan can find new animal friends even after the death of old ones (nice oblique reference to his love for cats in -kun!!!) and Matsuyo can reach out to other women around her own age, maybe we too can find meaning in this world even if the sextuplets can't. I wonder how much of the script was written before vs. after the Sakurai scandal sealed the show's fate (maybe)...

come to think of it, a good succinct way to describe Totoko in this movie is as the character I WISH Takahashi had been: a vessel for us, the fans', feelings towards the Matsus who ACTIVELY tries to affect the characters' world in ways that challenge both them and the viewer, rather than a passive damsel waiting for them at the end. you go TakoPa Totoko four for you TakoPa Totoko

back in November when I'd watched all three Ososan movies that existed at the time - Eiga no Osomatsu-san (2019), Eiga Osomatsu-san (2022) (the live-action one, yeah it's confusing) and Hipipo - I thought Hipipo, despite its flaws, was my favourite of the franchise's movies. I felt the same way immediately after the credits of TakoPa finished rolling... but as I went around unblocking Japanese Matsutwitter accounts now I no longer have to worry about spoilers, I found a poll that kinda made me rethink everything??? for nearly a year I'd been operating under the theory that the Western Ososan fanbase just "didn't get" Hipipo and that the show's true target audience of Japanese adults who'd grown up with Osokun would validate my positive feelings towards the movie - but that poll made me question if said positive feelings were just a result of the context in which I saw Hipipo for the first time (unspoiled, reacting to it along with the man I love, and by my own power instead of Crunchyroll's). regardless of whether or not I SHOULD, I now feel kind of apologetic to the Japanese fandom for insisting that the Western fandom "just didn't get it" while forgetting that oh wait, I'M a Western fandom. at this precise moment I'm not sure how I feel about the 6th anniversary movies overall; maybe it's still a case where one is "objectively better" than the other but I still prefer the "worse" one for personal reasons? is that allowed??? or maybe I don't passionately love OR hate either of them the way I passionately love the TV show and passionately hate Eiga (2019). maybe it's too soon to properly assess my feelings and I should rewatch the two back to back in a few months/a year, idk

but I will say this: of the four movies, three of them made me cry on first viewing (Eiga with sadness, live-action with laughter at one particular scene, and Hipipo with joy, also at one particular scene). TakoPa was the only Ososan movie to NOT make me cry - I guess by that metric it's the most "meh" of the four, at least for my taste, but still a worthwhile entry in the franchise and a satisfying note to (possibly) end it on

I was gonna say I don't remember heath but then it came back! He was supportive of Brett's journey, right? And watched her and her gf make out, right? I can't remember if he was in love with Brett or not but I do remember he was a good guy - supportive of Brett and her friend - even though he was kinda sleazy at times

yes he was, he was in love with kara, whom he actually bullied for being fat before (spoiler). I think at his core he's a good guy, but just sleazy like you said hahaha I think he was meant to be a foil of chuck bass in the It girl series but not quite as sauve as chuck

concept: instead of big announcement kara just stops pretending. she flies everywhere, casually uses her superspeed, (like, a lot bc she’s always busy and running late) zaps her drinks with heat vision to warm them up, even doing quick saves while still in her civvies sometimes. and people notice. they definitely notice. it’s hard not to notice a woman coming in a 20th story window or balancing a whole car in one hand. but like, if that one woman at work can kill a guy with a paperclip, that’s kinda just her business, right? maybe supergirl starts openly hanging out with lena luthor more. showing up at events and fundraisers adn dancing with her and maybe sometimes they sneak away into a corner and kiss a bit. but like, if ms luthor wants to have two (2) alien gfs then good for her, right? finally, after like saving a bus of people while in her civvies and they all just politely look away, she just snaps. “I’m supergirl! I kara danvers from catco, am supergirl!” and they’re all just yeah we know. we just thought it wouldn’t really be polite to gossip about the woman who has personally saved everyone in national city approximately 7.8 times.

Hey Supergirl fandom, specifically like the Season 1 Supergirl Fandom who knows what General Danvers is, I have a question.

I'm trying to determine if I'm in like a dinghy or just clinging to some driftwood over here in regards to a ship.

Am I the only one that looked at General Danvers, and then looked at Dansen, and then decided General Dansen would be a cool thing?

Like give me two idiots who were all lined up to be star crossed but somehow they beat the odds and they're both kind of a mess about it. Then they get introduced to this nice lady qualified to help with all that psychological shit who as a sister to one of their inner circle is the perfect candidate to bring into the fold and talk out their complicated history with. And everyone is super proud of them when they start regularly seeing this woman. Right up until they realise they aren't seeing her professionally. Some-Fucking-How they're just seeing her, and instead of her being their therapist and a stabilising force you've suddenly got a 3rd woman who would fight all of creation and make the devil beg in order to protect her loved ones. Kelly is still a stabilising force but she isn't there to be their live in shrink. Everyone is happy they are all happy but they're also just a tiny bit scared.

Or give me two women who put in the work and chose each other and want to be each others rock and then this shattered Kryptonian comes back from the dead and everything is turned on its head except its also not. Everyone is sure it should be a blow up and instead it's closer to the moment they decided to take Esme home (by comparison not sure that should have already happened/be happening at same time, maybe just leave for later but could be fun mixed in anywhere tbh). They just hang out waiting while the Astra pulls herself back together and figures out who she is now, and of course they help along the way, and once Astra is ready they make the offer and its basically a forgone conclusion since she practically lives with them so that she and Kara don't smother one another.

Fuck, give me Kelly finding a weird and intense lost lady when she's living her pre National City life and just taking her in like a stray cat because she wants to help but Astra freaks at the mention of authorities and Kelly just has a vibe. And so by the time she moves to NC for work her and Astra are a Thing kinda on the DL cause Kelly's family still think she's grieving her soldier (which she is but she's not refusing to live her life because of it, but doesn't want people to take it the wrong way, and also how do you explain your gf is an alien fugitive?). They've talked over a million times the fact that Astra should reconnect with Kara sometime and Kelly was already facing the possibility of needing to move out west for work. James gets shot and everything just accelerates. Suddenly they're in an emergency room in NC and Kelly goes full Army mode shutting down the panicked reaction to Astra (she wasn't gonna let Kelly go alone) to get info about James. She sends Kara and Astra to get coffee and then just falls into a chair across from Alex once she has her facts. She sees how Alex watches Astra like its painful but like there is no where else she could look and decides interrogating that look is a better use of her time than catastrophising over what is happening to James. And so it begins.

Honestly the couch scene between Kara and Lena gave me extra motivation to watch the episode. Kinda hard to avoid spoilers when they trend on a weekly basis but luckily for me i managed to avoid most of it; Supergirl 6x13, as usual spoiler alert:

1. I’m going to miss the “previously on Supergirl” + i haven’t recovered from that Azie performance last week + Kara’s hair + KARA AND LENA HUGGING😍 + my goodness Lena’s hair + lmao Kara’s face like baby i swear i didn’t do anything + oh they’re back at the fortress + sweet baby Lena trying to work her science on everything + supercorp starting the episode is giving me life i swear + Kara’s like i don’t get this and Lena’s like uh i don’t know a thing about this i swear

2. Doctor’s cute, who’s she? 🌚 + Nyxly and her lack of pacient is me + Kelly and Alex😍😍😍 they are so cute i love them so much, they’re so domestic i’m in love😭 + “bye babe” 😭😭 + Andrea’s being a dick but she’s hot + lmao i feel sorry for William, Andrea’s giving him such a hard time + NIA MY BABY😍 + sisters-in-law doing science together i’m in for it + what the hell just happened !?!

3. Can we keep the doctor? Pls? + i’m so distracted by Lena’s hair + it’s so funny to watch Jesse perform like this + Nia just want her boyfriend back + Lena’s such a genius + a bigger emotional price? Girl you’ve been traumatized half of your life + my goodness the hair department stood out in this episode + beefy Kara Danvers is everything to me + oh, hell is about to break loose + it’s up to Lena and Kara to fix this i’m guessing

4. Lmao J’onn feeling like a proud papa + this is oddly funny😂 + Kara’s like what on earth is happening with everyone!? + “are you trying to reason with the dragon!?” Lol this scene is giving LoT vibes + Kara scolding them lmaoo + Lena’s face is like whaaaaat on earth is this!? + worried wives™️

5. Supercorp moment *screams* + i’ve missed Lena so much😭 + wives being the cutest + “I BELIEVE IN YOU” i swear this fucking show will be the death of me, i can’t even… + this is going to be so bad lmao + science!Lena is everything to me but witch!Lena hits different

6. Oh no, this is bad + can we keep Beatrice please? :( + lmao Lena’s face + poor Kara she can’t handle everyone being out of character today + it’s Kara’s turn to being the responsible adult lol + everyone on that show has PTSD, when are they getting therapy?

I mean…

Okay so, this was such a fun episode filled with Supercorp interactions and I’M THRIVING as pretty much everyone else lol, it was less emotional than the last episode which was good, we can’t have too many intense episodes in a row. I’ve seen around that Nyxly and Lex are going to be a romantic item?!? Like what? Out of thin air? Are we going to repeat the whole James and Lena thing again? *sighs* anyways… I love seeing Guardian, hopefully she gets to be involved in more fighting along the rest of superfriends. I can’t wait to see Lena doing magic, it’s gonna be amazing, that science baby tapping her powers to save her wife, sign me up!

Not you calling me out since you remember wips I've mentioned 😂 But thanks, really! I'm going to answer these for my wips in general since that's what ended up happening.

3) What is its title/working title?

"the way that your shoulders meet your slender neck" is next for the song fic challenge lol. Is that kinda a cop out answer? Yes. Is it only a vague idea compared to the other wips I have? Also yes, but I am sooo bad at coming up with titles. Nothing I've posted has had an interesting working title. Like, one right now is "gf!lucy intimacy v2". And then half the time, the actual titles I come up with are in the 15 minutes after I finish writing and when I'm itching to post, so I end up feeling meh on them. (There are other titles I do like, though!)

5) What's your favorite location in the story?

You know, everything that I feel could get fully written is more character-driven where I don't care about the setting, so they take place in like, some vague apartment (sometimes Alex's) and just a typical Supergirl setting. National City, DEO, etc. (I do have a dead wip that involved Maggie spending the night at Alex's for the first time, waking up for water or something, and then tripping down the steps in the dark because who has stairs leading up to their bed??)

7) How did you first get the idea for this story?

I think most are "if this character is [some queer identity] and [some event] happens, how does that affect them/their relationships?" since I've had fun exploring that (most are with genderfluid!Lucy). It's usually accompanied by "hey here is something related that I've experienced and I wanna write some of that". I've kinda been meaning to play around with a genderflux!Kara more, and maybe bring in genderfluid!Lucy, inspired by an anon from last year.

i need to vent. this one episode really angers me.

The ‘just don’t’ episode is incredibly CRUEL. I get that Oso is a piece of crap, but did his brothers really have to go that far?? Having a gf is one of the big things that he wants and they know it’s what he wants. So they went and hurt him in the WORST POSSIBLE WAY?! Jyushi in particular pissed me off. Oso was so supportive of him ( as can be seen in Jyushimatsu falls in love ), he told him to go and get the girl, and THAT’S how Jyushi repaid him?! Are you telling me that it’s fine for Jyushi to have someone special, but not Oso? Even when all the brothers are kinda shitty?

Like?? Canon-wise, that was probably Oso’s only chance at finding someone who loved him and his brothers completely ruined it.

Am I really the only person who has an issue with it? Everyone else seems to think that it’s what Oso deserved, but I just don’t. Not when it’s so stressed that all the Matsus are crap. And honestly? Nyaa-chan had a perfectly valid reason for falling in love with Oso. The baby could have gotten seriously hurt if Oso hadn’t caught them.

I wouldn’t be upset if the episode was like the one with Kara and Todo. Where the girl doesn’t have feelings for them, so that’s why they’re turned down. Or if Nyaa figured it out herself that Oso was crap. But since his brothers and Totoko spent the entire time telling her it was a mistake, it didn’t feel genuine when she cut things off with Oso. It felt like they peer pressured her into it.

You can’t say ‘he deserved it bc he moved in on Choro’s crush’. HE DIDN’T EVEN REALIZE IT WAS NYAA-CHAN. HE EVEN SAID AS MUCH. HE LITERALLY SAID, ‘WHO ARE YOU?’ He didn’t remember who nyaa-chan was.

Poor Oso. You could even see how much it shocked him when someone actually said they liked him. I can totally understand why he chickened out. Think of it like this: ‘Oh god, someone actually fell in love with me. Even though I’m so unworthy. I can’t go on the date. I’ll just ruin it for myself.’ The ending was such a punch to the gut. I really hope this gets rectified in the future.

At the end of the day, it isn’t even Oso getting hurt that bothers me the most. It’s that Nyaa was denied the chance to make her own decision about him. It kinda hurts her baby, too. The baby might have been denied a chance at having a decent father. Because truthfully? We don’t actually know how Oso would be in a relationship. Just because he sucks at being a brother, and does some stupid shit, that doesn’t mean he’ll instantly fail at being a boyfriend.

From working on my latest TF2 fic, I’ve been getting even more invested in my interpretations of Scout’s brothers than I was back when I wrote “Jeremy” last month, so here’s more information on them, including their appearances, who their spouses end up being later on in life, and their kids (if they have any).

(Putting this under a readmore for the sake of literally everyone)

Name: Grant Grayson-Kennedy Jr. Age: 34 (11 years older than RED Scout) Gender: Cisgender Man Sexuality: Bisexual Hair Color: Dark Brown Eye Color: Grey Their Mother: Rebecca “Becky” Kennedy Their Father: Grant Grayson Sr. Their S/O: Amelia O’Malley (36) Their Children: Lauren Grayson-Kennedy (8), Kara Grayson-Kennedy (6), Rupert Grayson-Kennedy (4.5), Timothy Grayson-Kennedy (2) Occupation: Air Force Veteran/Lawyer Personality: The family peacekeeper. He’s never liked being in the spotlight, even when he was young and into street brawls. Was beaten by his bio dad a lot as a kid, so he’s fairly skittish as a result; jumps at loud noises and has claustrophobia. Still checks in on the family every once in awhile, but he prefers to stay with his GF in relative solitude. Loves his job so much, even if it does involve being social sometimes.

Name: Malcolm Walsh-Kennedy Age: 27 (4 years older than RED Scout) Gender: Cisgender Man Sexuality: Heteromantic Asexual Hair Color: Black Eye Color: Brown Their Mother: Rebecca “Becky” Kennedy Their Father: Terrence Walsh Their S/O: Dolores Jamison Their Children: Luke Kennedy-Jamison (5) Occupation: Wrestler Personality: The family instigator. Was by far the most reckless and violent of his brothers (yes, even more so than Jacob), which led to him getting arrested a number of times in his teens. Is trying to turn his life around, but it’s hard for him. After he found out that Jeremy is a mercenary, he flipped his lid, and he’s still pissed at him about it. Loves his son, his wife, his mama, his brothers, and that’s about it tbh.

Name: Curtis Walsh-Kennedy Age: 26 (3 years older than RED Scout) Gender: Cisgender Man Sexuality: Bisexual Hair Color: Dark Blond Eye Color: Blue Their Mother: Rebecca “Becky” Kennedy Their Father: Terrence Walsh Their S/O: None Their Children: None Occupation: BLU Scout Personality: The family drifter. Spent a lot of his childhood teasing Jeremy and trying to be his mom’s favorite, neither of which worked in his favor. His mom still loves him of course, but he’s not the favorite (no one is). He drifted for a long while after high school, struggling to land a job, before he was hired to join BLU team as their Scout. Now he continues teasing Jeremy as an adult, which leads to a lot of matches turning into Scout vs Scout fights.

Name: Jeremy Kennedy Age: 23 Gender: Transgender Man Sexuality: Pansexual Hair Color: Brown Eye Color: Baby Blue Their Mother: Rebecca “Becky” Kennedy Their Father: Jeffery REDACTED Their S/O: None Their Children: None Occupation: RED Scout Personality: The family runt. He tried so hard to keep up with his brothers as a kid, but was always told to not play as rough due to him being FTM. After coming out to the family as a man, and living on his own for awhile, he’s become even closer to his brothers than he was before, save for maybe Curtis, who he fights with every time they see each other. He knows Curtis is the BLU Scout and constantly teases him for losing so often to RED, which leads to even more fights between them. (I should note that I don’t characterize Jeremy as transgender in the Kids AU, mostly because I think he’d be too young to come out, and seeing as I don’t want to write him as a “girl” for the entirety of the AU... he can be trans in that AU if you want him to be, but I feel uncomfortable writing such a young child as being trans, so do with that what you will.)

Information on the dads!

Grant Grayson Sr.: Grant, Timothy, Jacob, and Arthur’s dad. He was a well respected man when he was alive, and actually had a decent relationship with Becky for the most part, but it became more strained when he left for war after the twins were born. About a year into his military service, Grant was killed in action, leaving Becky a widow. She loved him, but after his death, she accepted the fact that it wouldn’t have lasted forever with him, though she still misses him sometimes.

Terrence Walsh: Patrick, Malcolm, and Curtis’s dad. He tried hooking up with Becky the minute Grant was shipped overseas, but she always turned him down, as she was married and not a cheater. After Grant’s death though, he swooped in and convinced Becky to start going out with him, leading to Patrick’s birth and a second marriage for Becky. Unfortunately, Terrance was a real POS, and he routinely beat the kids as well as Becky. He was assassinated a few weeks after Curtis was born by Spy, freeing Becky of his abuse.

Jeffery REDACTED: The RED Spy/Jeremy’s dad. He met Becky while she was still stuck in an abusive marriage with Terrence, and soon after they met, Becky begged for his help in getting rid of her husband so she and kids could finally be safe. Feeling bad for the mother, Spy did just that, killing Terrence and making it look like an accident. Afterwards he planned on going on his merry way, but Becky convinced him to stay in her home while he waited for more work to roll in. During this time, they fell in love, and he soon married her (though it was an under the table sort of deal, where he also took on her last name), and after a year or so of marriage, Becky became pregnant with Jeremy. Unfortunately for Spy, people were after him, so he had to leave the family behind, but he’s still technically married to Becky, and she refuses to date anyone in his absence.

And that’s what I’ve got! Btw, I chose the last name “Kennedy” for the family based on the quote “You’ve got the luck of a Kennedy!” since I headcanon that Scout’s Mom has been through a lot, and in turn so have all of her children in one way or another.
