The Netherlands must stop exporting F-35 parts to Israel
Israel According to the Court, the export of parts for F-35 aircraft to Israel poses a risk of "serious violations of the humanitarian law of war". The Netherlands has seven days to stop it..
Genocide case
Last January, the International Court of Justice ruled in a case brought by South Africa against Israel that there are indications that the war in Gaza could lead to genocide of the Palestinian population. The court ordered Israel to do everything in its power to prevent this. Other countries have previously suspended arms exports to Israel because of the war. After reporting by the Belgian newspaper De Morgen about the sale of 16 tons of ammunition, Prime Minister Elio di Rupo (PS) decided to temporarily stop exports. Other countries, such as Italy and Spain, have also halted arms exports to Israel.

According to zionists, Hamas are the UNRWA, Hamas are health workers, Hamas are journalists, Hamas are children and babies, Hamas are fathers risking the bullets and the bombs to bring food for their families, Hamas are hospitals, schools and places of worship, Hamas are ambulances and aid trucks...
So what zionists are saying is that Hamas is basically everyone innocent, heroic and good. We get what you're not saying out loud, you sly dogs, you.

This student is AWESOME 🩵
I find it incredible that those who keep screaming Israel is committing genocide
Have absolutely NO idea what that word even means .
Israel is targeting terrorists ( Hamas , Hezbollah etc ,)not civilians !
Unfortunately for the Gazans Hamas is hiding in tunnels underneath them .,
Mosques , hospitals ,schools ,the most heavily populated areas Knowing after their MASSACRE on Oct 7th that Israel would be coming after them .
They could've built bomb shelters for the people , they could've did alot a things ,but they didn't !
They could care less about these people
They steal the food and supplies off the trucks coming in ( videos all over social media ) showing it !
Hamas is responsible 💯 for the deaths on both sides .
You wanna scream " GENOCIDE" scream it at HAMAS who caused it on both sides !

i genuinely hate how my "progressive" peers will always use muslims as primary examples of misogynists/homophobes, as though we don't already live in a christian country that kills women and lgbtq+ ppl every single day.
i ESPECIALLY hate this considering what's happening in palestine. it feels to me that ppl just want to find "reasons" to justify the genocide.

legitimately insane how to some people, "we should wipe out this ethnic group that we've violently constrained to a ghetto because they're just genetically more violent and dangerous" is a reasonable and justifiable statement but it's Nazi Rhetoric to say something like, "it's bad that Israeli civilians are being killed but acknowledging that as tragic includes acknowledging that the almost daily state-sanctioned murder of civilians by the Israeli government is also tragic and unacceptable"
btw guys speaking of Nazi shit - can we check in, alongside what's been done to Palestinians in the last 75 years, what's the Israeli government's take on the Azerbaijani government's newest round of ethnic cleansing of Armenians? oh are the Israeli government's actions maybe not determined by Jewish identity, but by a commitment to colonial supremacy which puts them on the same page as other violently genocidal states like Azerbaijan, the US, and the UK? god can you Even Imagine?
(framing speaking against Israeli war crimes as inherently antisemitic requires understanding the Israeli state as representing all Jewish people, when it doesn't even represent all Israelis.
framing Israeli war crimes as synonymous with Jewish identity is pretty fucked up if we're being honest. I don't think that controlling water and power and movement for a captive population and shooting children dead for throwing stones is an inherent value of Judaism, any more than I think the torture carried out at Guantanamo Bay is an inherent value of Christianity - in both cases they're atrocities carried out by a far right genocidal government using religious identity as a shield.
Calling statements like "Israel is committing genocide against the people it's displaced" inherently antisemitic is doing more to further the idea that all Jewish people are associated with Israel than saying "the Israeli government is doing war crimes," which is a statement of fact about a country that exists and does war crimes. Is criticism of Israel as a nation often used as cover for antisemitism? Absolutely. Does that mean the Israeli government isn't doing literal war crimes repeatedly, on record, while talking publicly about scrubbing an ethnic group off the map? Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh well in the last 48 hours they've definitely cut off water and power to almost 600,000 civilians and allegedly used white phosphorus against civilians so in an extremely factual and unambiguous way yeah man those are Literal War Crimes whoever does them.)
#red said#sorry man saying 'it's bad to do genocide and war crimes' doesn't actually mean 'I'm happy when Jewish people die'#it means 'there is a context to Palestinian militants attacking Israelis which involves Palestinians being killed wounded or imprisoned#very nearly every day by the Israeli state and settlers. so no you can't treat a Palestinian attack on Israel as an unprecedented tragedy#without also recognising that Israeli forces have repeatedly visited attacks of similar magnitude on Palestine which is ALSO tragic#as well as the regular state-sanctioned murder of over 200 Palestinians in the 9 months BEFORE the Palestinian attack on Saturday#It means 'Palestinian lives don't matter less than Israeli lives' not 'Israeli lives don't matter'#this week is literally the FIRST TIME SINCE RECORDS BEGAN that more Israeli lives have been lost than Palestinian#bc for every year since 2000 orders of magnitude more palestinians than Israelis have been killed in this war#you don't get to say 'it's only bad when X ethnic group is killed it's GOOD to kill Y ethnic group' then accuse OTHERS of genocide apologis#it is legitimately a tragedy for Israeli civilians to be killed and wounded en masse. the people are not the nation.#but it's not less of a tragedy for Palestinians to have been killed and wounded en masse week after week for decades.#and when peaceful protest gets you shot and bombed and acting against the military gets you shot and bombed#and just existing doing nothing at all gets you shot and bombed. living near someone accused of terrorism. looking for your fucking cat.#when you're getting shot and bombed daily whatever you do. it's not surprising that sometimes people move to violence against civilians.#because as people from Gaza have said. better to die fighting for survival than die on your knees waiting.#which like. I'm not making a moral judgement one way or the other bc i am intrinsically disgusted by mass killing. as we all should be.#and this might be the movement which liberates Palestine and it might be the excuse which allows Israel to finish Palestine#and either way hundreds of people are dead on both sides and however you slice it that's a fucking tragedy#but we cannot. treat it as if Hamas' strike began the violence. and ignore the 200+ Palestinians killed by the IDF this year beforehand#Palestinian lives matter as much as Israeli lives. 700 Israeli citizens dead is a tragedy. 600 Palestinians dead is a tragedy.#and if you lay out the numbers from this weekend alone you can pretend that Israelis are getting decimated by Palestine.#but to do that you have to ignore the facts that for every 1 Israeli killed in the past decade 3 Palestinians die.#and that Israeli deaths happen in occasional outbursts of violence while Palestinian deaths happen every week#whether or not Hamas or any other Palestinian faction initiates violence

So far Israel has bombed in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and now Yemen (and of course all areas of Palestine) but still claim to be the victim. It's even more sickening when Western countries and media repeat these asinine lies with a straight face.

Anyone at all surprised Israel is using AI to identify "Hamas"?
37,000 people. To be clear.
Oh and they bombed humanitarian aid...again. Three missles, one after the other, ona humanitarian truck the IDF followed.
They then tried to claim Hamas. As they do every casuality.
Friendly reminder that Dems and R's are supporting the Genocide and you Should Be Pissed.

Ghana's parliament passed a bill on Wednesday that further clamps down on the rights of LGBTQ people in the West African country.
The "Human Sexual Rights and Family Values" bill enjoys support from a majority of lawmakers in Accra and has been sponsored by a coalition of Christian, Muslim, and Ghanaian traditional leaders.
Same-sex intercourse in Ghana was already punishable by up to three years in prison, but while discrimination against LGBTQ people is common, no one has ever been prosecuted under the colonial-era law.
The new bill, commonly referred to as the anti-gay bill, now also imposes a prison sentence of up to five years for the "wilful promotion, sponsorship, or support of LGBTQ+ activities."
Opposition lawmaker Sam George, the main sponsor of the bill, called on President Nana Akufo-Addo to approve it.
"There is nothing that deals with LGBTQ better than this bill that has been passed by parliament," George said. "We expect the president to walk his talk and be a man of his words."
The bill has been widely condemned by rights activists and still has to be validated by the president before entering into law, a move observers believe is unlikely before an election in December. President Akufo-Addo has not confirmed if he will sign the bill into law.
'You cannot criminalize a person's identity'
Members of Ghana's LGBTQ community are worried about the implications of the bill and an umbrella group of lawyers and human rights activists in Ghana known as the "Big 18" has condemned it.
"You cannot criminalize a person's identity and that's what the bill is doing and it's absolutely wrong," said Takyiwaa Manuh, a member of the coalition. "We want to impress on the president not to assent to the bill, it totally violates the human rights of the LGBT community."
Founder and director of "LGBT+ Rights Ghana" Alex Donkor said the passing of this bill would "further marginalize and endanger LGBTQ individuals in Ghana."
"It not only legalizes discrimination but also fosters an environment of fear and persecution," he said. "With harsh penalties for both LGBTQ individuals and activists, this bill threatens the safety and well-being of an already vulnerable community."

I don't enjoy seeing people scrambling to run to bomb shelters. But the irony is, many of these people who have access to bomb shelters, who have iron dome protecting them, will continue demanding that Gaza be bombed some more. That not enough firepower is being used to kill children. That these children are seeds of terrorism and they need to be killed to destroy Hamas.

every accusation is a confession.
one side is using a hospital to set up headquarters and shelter its combatants.
it's the idf. they have been using the indonesian hospital as their base for two weeks. this was reported by the medical emergency rescue committee (MER-C), a humanitarian organisation that helped build the hospital.
Tumblr media
here are a few sources, all in indonesian. excerpt from CNN:
"What is happening now, around two weeks ago, Israel placed its troops and [turned] [the Indonesian Hospital] into its headquarters. Previously, they accused the hospital of serving as Hamas' headquarters, and no Hamas member was there," said Sarbini.
right now, MER-C is asking for the WHO to investigate. from detik:
"We, MER-C, wish to condemn these underhanded methods carried out by Israel, which used the Indonesian Hospital as a base, fortification, and this was done to attack the fighters in Palestine," explained Sarbini. "We also ask the World Health Organization (WHO) to send a team to investigate so that this doesn't become a bad thing," he continued.
