While I love assasin darling I love Talia not expecting to platonically adore Robin Damians civilian darling more. Just the concept that she entered the room thinking this untrained person is not good enough for her son and left the room all "I've had this person for five minutes and if anything happened to them I'd kill everyone in this room then myself."

Though I do wonder if she'd try to make darling forget they're culture in this context...

This is just my opinion and I’m interested in seeing others I feel like in this situation it’s Damian was Robin and met his s/o and Bruce was anti kidnapping/saw a bit of talia coming out of Damian and bruce didn’t like it and Damian doesn’t handle rejection from anybody well. L so dami went home to talia and talia’s happy because her baby is home<3 and you make her happy! Because you make Damian happy. I think both dami and talia really value the culture you have bring into their home, talia has been around for 100s of years and watched the world around her change and saw how different societies worked and picked up her favourite parts and brought them home. In my own version of the al ghuls I made ra’s a lot older because i think that’s fun and i really like history and what these places would look like, what purpose they’d serve in this world. but talia has been around for a while and I think anyone who has been around on earth for a really long time values culture and wouldn’t take that away. i think if you were actively rejecting dami they’d be cool with you going home and visiting home and if you have celebrations than they hold them. Though they also expect you to accept and be willing to learn about their culture and I know culture is the wrong word to use but I feel like the al ghuls are a micro culture like the assassins that work/train there are there because they have similar values and goals and though the al ghuls are a criminal organisation it’s very large and we usually only see full grown assassins but it would make sense for them to have families so the organisation is always growing, for example if you’re born into this life, you've been trained, been taught it’s right, and ra’s and talia would look after their people, of course they have an air of superiority but i feel like that’s normal for top politicians or royalty which is the niche they fill in this instance.
