Sephiroth had come to like the little android Cloud, but then a few months ago he just disappeared. The one-winged angel tried asking multiple people where the android was and what happened to him. Everyone acted like Project: CLOUD never happened. After months of getting the run around he confronted professor Hojo, getting into a literal screaming fit in their arguing. Only when Sephiroth grabbed the lead scientist by the throat and slam him against the wall did Hojo finally admit that the project was terminated. That would mean Cloud was trashed.

Ignoring the future consequences of his actions Sephiroth rushed off to sector 7′s scrapyard. Searching didn’t take long and he soon found his droid, urgently booting him up. But his heart broke at the startup error messages that sounded and Cloud was rest to factory default setting. He held Cloud’s face in his hands when he booted up and finally spoke, choking back a sob when the android didn’t recognize him.

“I’m Sephiroth.” The silverette’s voice cracked softly as he pushed back the soft blond locks that had gotten dirty. “I’m going to take care of you, I wont let them hurt you again.” 

He pulled the droid into a hug, arms shaking with both sorrow that his friend didn’t remember him and also anger that he wasn’t there to prevent this from happening. Over his dead body would he let any of the scientists touch Cloud again. After a long moment he pulled away and helped the android get off the ground and stand on his feet.

“Can you walk Cloud? Any damage?”
