Metal Gear Solid: anti-war, critical of US imperialism/militarianism, anti-nuclear, anti-racist themes, queer-inclusive (to a certain extent), has prominent female characters (even if the treatment of them is shaky tbh; see: Quiet), Kojima himself seeming to have left-leaning politics, promient antagonists tending to be fascist types.

The fandom, for some reason: alt-right, anti-queer, antifeminist, antisemitic, TERFy, pro-military industrial complex, support Trump, Putin, other fascist leaders.
