If pk bit into a lemon what would his reaction be? What would be his favorite fruit?

Pretty much exactly what you'd expect- he bites unthinkingly, then reels back with a grimace and tries to clean each individual mouthpart with his tongue/other mouthparts before he figures out how to deal with the whole bitter exterior, sour interior deal. I feel like he'd actually enjoy the flavor of lemons when he got over the shock of their flavor and realized he had to peel them to get rid of the bitter skin. They're very intense, but the high acidity pales in comparison to the concentrated acid that wyrms sometimes spit at other wyrms or highly defensive prey items, so it wouldn't bother his throat much. Can't see him eating a lot of them though, more as an occasional treat or pallete cleanser.

As for fruit- I've never put much thought into the fruit types that exist in Hallownest, much less if our fruits would exist in the bug universe, but I'm leaning towards pomegranates. This is partially biased by me really wanting some fresh pom rn, but I think the bittersweet-sour flavor and the crunch of the seeds would be intensely appealing to him. Got the texture AND the flavor there

Bart was redesigned like a BUNCH of times over the years. If I have any followers that remember my old OLD old deviantart accout then they would have seen how indecisive I could have been with the design? I even made stories on how/why he got redesigned.
