Me trying to explain how Victor and Shiratori should’ve been siblings because of the dynamics and parallels of Beatrice and Penny, as well as Ismelda and Annalena, because then all three of them would (presumably) be the youngest sibling in a family where the oldest was/is herald as a success and a golden child while the youngest was in their shadows and rebelled, thus all of them having a reason to become a small friend group that could last for years beyond hogwarts. In this essay, I will-

Have you tried drawing the Wizard in White as a mermaid? That's saying something considering his real name was revealed a few weeks ago... what did you think of it?

We cannot sing above the ground.
An hour long you'll have to look
To recover what we took..."

Ah yes, the Wizard in White -- now officially named Kazuhiro Shiratori, in-game! (I like the name fine, though the meaning of each name -- "harmony" and "swan," respectively -- seem a little odd.) For his tail, I was inspired by the admittedly rather silly-named Hadal Snailfish, not only for its bright white coloring, but because it has been seen in some of the lowest, darkest depths of the ocean in human record. It's even found in the northwest Pacific Ocean, including in the trenches around Japan, where Shiratori's alma mater, Mahoutokoro, is located!
Any HPHM merpeople you want to see from me, for Mermay?

So I had this story idea about Wizard Cookie getting possessed by Shadow Milk Cookie. I have a rough draft for a few chapters of a fic already written out but idk if i'll wind up posting it or not.
Basically, before he was sealed away again, Shadow Milk made one last grab for Pure Vanilla, intent on taking him down with him. However, Wizard shoved him out of the way and got taken instead. Being trapped with the Beast of Deceit led to some pretty bad consequences.
Wizard's soul still exists, however getting it back and getting Shadow Milk Cookie out of his body will NOT be easy.

This was supposed to just be a rough sketch, but then I started getting really invested in it.
I hadn't initially intended to include so many picture book characters, but the nostalgia was overwhelming. Does anyone remember the animated short films produced by Weston Woods? My local library used to have a bunch of them on the Scholastic VHS tapes from the late 90s. (I know some shorts were released on the Children's Circle VHS tapes back in the 80s (🎶 Come on along! Come on along! Join the caravan!), and some were packaged in Sammy's Story Shop in 2008.)
