we received our wedding pics and I am absolutely over the moon. Rebecca was absolutely amazing and she captured this day I worked so hard on in a way that feels SO perfect! She made our largely DIY wedding look like it belongs in a fucking Alt Bride Bridal Magazine.

For our confetti, we dried and saved flower petals from all the bouquets we've had in our beloved house for the last couple of years.

We asked people to Dress and by GOD did my friends & loved ones DRESS!! Including my little mom in her gorgeous butterfly-print dress. My dad wore a rainbow bolo tie & my stepmom customized her dress with little rainbow flowers.!

I was so stressed out for soooo long about this wedding! I worked so hard to make it look beautiful and unique. On the day of, everyone just scooped every single thing off my plate & made everything PERFECT for us! So much love and gratitude for my beautiful friends & family.

- they def had an unofficial lil backyard “wedding” with the party back in the 90s. like, jeans and tee shirts and 15 dollar rings and eat hot dogs around a fire pit unofficial

- they kept those cheap ass rings on 24/7, and when they finally rusted and crumbled and were absolutely unwearable they put them in nancy’s ballerina trinket box, the one robin’s still fascinated by after all these years

- when they bought their first house (they move to indianapolis so nancy can work for the star btw, i feel like robin would be some sort of counselor too?), the first thing robin did was take a big ol bulletin board and nail it right to the bedroom wall. for the next twenty years it became their dream board, where they’d pin magazine clippings of suits and dresses, rings and bouquets and venues, dreaming of the day it could be their turn for real

- they have a record player in their kitchen and play cheesy slow music, elvis and frank sinatra typa stuff, while they cook or eat dinner or do work at the counter. every time a song that nancy likes comes on she begs robin to slow dance with her, and she grudgingly agrees every time. and robin fucking sucks. tripping over nothing, not knowing where to look or put her hands, getting flustered at every little move her girlfriend makes. nancy jokes that robin better not be like this during their first dance, and robin grumbles back that she’d rather hire a stunt double than suffer through this (she secretly loves it tho)

- attending weddings is so hard for them. not that they’re not happy for the couples, but because they know they might never get one of their own. when they get. home from max and lucas’ wedding, nancy breaks down in robin’s arms, sobbing that it would be so much easier if she were straight. robin holds her tight and reassures her so gently, and after she calms down they pull out the stack of wedding inspiration books they’ve acquired over the years, put on an old rom-com, settle side by side on the couch and stay up until 3 am gushing over ideas

- in 2015, the moment the announcement comes out that the supreme court legalized gay marriage, nancy speeds home from work, like, 20 miles over the speed limit and finds robin on the front steps, sobbing her eyeballs out, a big dumb grin on her face. nancy gets down on one knee right there on the driveway, not caring that it’s pouring rain and she doesn’t have a ring and and she looks like she just stepped out of the goddamn upside down. robin drops to the ground in front of her and kisses nancy harder than ever before

- nancy wants a traditional wedding. robin wants fun and unique, none of that “old-fashioned bullshit”. they butt heads over it constantly during the planning process, but slowly grow to adore each others’ styles and compromise on every detail

-being apart for like 3 hours while they get ready is torture. before the ceremony they do that first look thingy where they're standing back to back on opposite sides of a wall and they're holding hands and they're so nervous and giggly and then they do a countdown and peek around and both of them just stand there in shock. like they just watched the sky open up and an angel fall to earth. and then nance throws her arms around robin's neck and they start bawling cuz they realize their 20-plus-year dream is coming true UGH. when they step back robin runs a finger through nancy's curls and whispers how she's as beautiful as the first time she laid eyes on her and nancy melts

-they walk down the aisle hand in hand, exchange long sappy handwritten vows, and fall so perfectly into place when they kiss. it's like a scene from a disney movie. not dry eye in the damn building

-at the reception, there's lil charcuterie boards at each table, and they serve wood-fired pizza cuz it's what they ate on their first date (plus it's robin's fave)

-steve and jonathan bring the HOUSE down with their best men speeches. steve's is full of embarrassing jokes about robin that make her face turn red, and when he brings up how she peed her pants in the russian lab she jokingly (kinda) threatens to slit his throat. jonathan's is so sweet and tender and you can tell he still loves nance so so much

-after the speeches robin excuses herself outside and comes back 5 minutes later with a guitar. she plays a song she wrote for nancy. it's generous heart. because maya is robin in this world and doesn't exist and tbh i don't care. it's incredible

-their first dance song is first day of my life by bright eyes

-i hate ted and idk anything aboutt robin's dad so they don't get dances whoops

-nancy cuts the cake because robin with knives is a death wish

-the ice cream cart is a huge hit (steve brags about it for years). robin's a chocolate girl and nancy's a lemon sorbet lover

° Mihawk will first come to realise his feelings when he sees you trying out his Yoru sword, swinging it like a darn profesional. He never knew you had a knack with handling swords! And he's a world class swordsman for gods sake!!

° By all means, anyone touching his belongings would never see the light of day again, but with you he just... couldn't. Slight redness begin to dust his cheeks, lips parted, world casted away as his eyes fix on you and ONLY you, he watches in admiration.

° Upon realization, he'd become very cautious, examining the situation from all angles. How would this eventually end? Is it the right time? Would it put you in more danger?? And most importantly, do you reciprocate his feelings?

° He'd start with the simplest approaches. Starts calling you "Darling", holds your hand much longer. If you're not next to him, his golden eyes would pierce through the crowd to find yours. When you two make eye contact, he quickly shifts away, the brim of his hat darkening his features. You'd probably fail to notice the bashful smile that he fails to hold back.

° *INSERT DRAMATIC MUSIC* You are being chased by bandits, slightly injured, but you can move. Those bastards are closing in on you, and you're trying your best to push yourself further, with no avail. It takes a second and the footsteps are suddenly gone. Familiar bulky arms wrap around your waist, lifting you up bridal style.

"You're injured." His tone is unlike what you've seen before, eyes filled with bloodlust and murder, someone had the atrocity to hurt you? And get away with it? Not on his watch.

° The hinting process would take time, and if you're "a normal human being"-ly smart enough you'd quickly catch on. But if you're a wattpad y/n, then it'll take you or him getting cursed to your deathbeds and barely breathing out a desperate weak confession to knock some sense into you. Probably.

° The top of the castle, the moon directly above you, candles set in the perfect position. So traditionally arranged, Mihawk had it all planned out, he wants to make it as memorable as possible. His confession will probably sound like a wedding vow, but you're probably used to his slang by now.

° "Somewhere in my heart, beyond the walls of my pride, are raging feelings I don't know how to describe. Y/n darling, if I could have only one wish, stay by my side. ° Ah the infamous Prince of Moronica (*Zoro quotes*). This unique human being prioritises females above every morale in his life. He ravishes them with compliments, cooks them the finest meals, spends most of his "trying-to-find-ship-resources" time at flowershops, choosing the most fitting bouquet for his new eye catcher.

° You soon joined the crew. And with everyone's seemingly warm welcomes, Sanji's was the most expressive. You watched in amusement as his feet whirled like a tornado, scurrying from one female to another, then back to you.

"Aahhh Y/n-chwannn!!! Looking as BEAUTIFUL as ever today!!" He is truly your biggest cheerleader, of sometimes... absolutely no reason.

° But things in due course mutate, it would take a bit, but he'll eventually become aware of his sudden change in behaviour. The usual fanboying over Nami and Robin, or any other lady he meets still prevails. Not you though, not anymore.

° A relaxed subtle smile, a silent occasional daydreaming, serene gestures. Sanji doesn't desperately fawn over you anymore, doesn't give off his heart eyes when they land upon your figure. He doesn't even lash out at Zoro when you're next to him. No, this time it's geniune. This time it's REAL.

Vinsmoke Sanji of the Strawhat Pirates, has undoubtedly, hopelessly, fallen inlove with you.

° Your mere presence was as calming as the clear sky, your words instantly soothe him to the core. You make him forget all about his constant routine of anger. Instead of rushing around and showering you with praise, Sanji now converses deeply with you. You can talk to him about anything, whether it's the theory of darwin or that rock you recently found near the shore. Sanji is all ears, watching you in up-most fondness, eyes calm and relaxed, visually tracing the beautiful outline of your face.

° His feelings keep developing, he just doesn't know what to do!! Yes he's an expert with women. Yes he courted other ladies before and knows exactly how to approach the situation. But this is just- new, different. This never involved true authentic emotions!

° It takes a slip-by hint from Brook and a tough "advice" from Nami for the loverman to finally take action. Similar to Mihawk, his go-to plan is antiquity. He prepares a date night, setting up a suitable atmosphere for the rosy background he decorated, cooking his best dishes and placing down two elegant cups of red wine, he lets out a proud grin at his big accomplishment.

° The date starts well, surprisingly. The quiet chatter between you both, glasses clicking together, plates of juicy steakfries steaming profusely. Steak-!! Watch out for Luffy.

° Plates crashing, chairs thown into oblivion. Luffy leaps onto the table like a predator, devouring anything meat-able he gets his hands on. The poor boy has been hungry for hours, whilst his cook was busy preparing for his big night. You watch in surprise, your attire drenched in sauce and wine. On the other hand, Sanji was fuming, wet eye corners and grinding teeth. Luffy just ruined his most valuable moment, he wanted nothing but to shout, punch that idiot of a captain for his stupid shenanigans.

° You laugh, unexpectingly loving this whole scenario. And Sanji watches in awe, your laugh pacifying his whirlwind of rage. Next thing you know, Luffy is dragged away by his scolding navigator, and again you and Sanji are left alone.

° This was the perfect moment, and he won't waste it a second time. He contemplates his choice of words. What should he begin with? His years of mastering pick up lines should come in handy right now! He should start with a suave, profesional preamble.

Regardless, the only thing that came out of his mouth, was a three-worded phrase.

francis bonnefoy's eyes brighten as he hears the door unlock and familiar footsteps echoing in the house. he continues to stir the food in the pan, smiling to himself as he hears the satisfying hisses from the searing heat. the appetizing smell of dinner wafts in the air and an appreciative groan escapes your lips as you turn a curve and spy your lovely boyfriend merrily cooking. you lean against the doorframe, crossing your arms. he turns around and you stifle a laugh at his choice of the apron. "kiss the cook," it reads and you hum before slipping an arm around his waist before pulling him close. your lips land on his and francis lets out a stifled moan. your tongue slips out to lick the bottom part of his lips and francis doesn't even resist before opening his mouth and your lips curve into a smirk as you do so. the beeping of the oven interrupts your lovely make-out session and you let out a groan of despair. francis stifles a laugh as he brings out the steaming hot dishes from the oven and sets the table. you follow his lead, making sure that you helped your lover because it would simply be rude to let him do everything. you watched from the corner of your eyes as he flicked off the switches professionally and poured the sauce into bowls. everything he did was efficient and quick - something you admired about him. "there you are!" arthur cries out, grabbing onto francis's signature purple cloak and tugging him to the counter. he didn't even have a proper look at the bouquet yet; after centuries of knowing the blond, arthur knows ten minutes is more than enough for the frenchman to gather a lively bouquet. finally, they made it to the counter and francis sets down his bouquet before bringing out his wallet. "that looks like a very...unique bouquet," arthur comments, eyeing the bouquet. it doesn't look like a normal bouquet at all; it has a diversity of flowers ranging from francis's fleur-de-lis to roses. francis only laughs in delight after grabbing his bouquet from the worker. he hugs it to his chest and takes a deep breath, smiling at the scent of the flowers. "isn't it, mon ami? i'm sure y/n will love it!" as francis continues to ramble about the meanings of the flowers he had chosen, arthur couldn't help the bittersweet smile grow on his face from his friend's happiness. although he may squabble and fight with francis, the frenchman was one of his closest friends. and to see him so happy gave arthur hope for his future too. "you need to wake up," he murmurs and you just slowly blink. "don't you have work?" you let out a frustrated groan before tugging him closer. francis let out a tiny squeak as you sit up, pulling him into your lap. his legs instinctively wrap around your waist; he was sitting on your lap and his face was dangerously close to yours. you leaned in, pressing kisses to his collarbone, where his overlarge shirt had slipped. francis clenched his eyes as he resists the urge to kiss you. he had to be logical-......and his heart almost stopped when you used your hand to tilt his chin so his deep blue eyes met yours. you gave him a lazy smirk. Looking at Livia’s doppel now with the context of her backstory: it looks like a very grotesque bridal bouquet. The larger symbolism definitely revolves around her unique magic causing misfortune to anyone she shows kindness to, and the birthing imagery representing her being reborn ‘evil’ after her contract (and possibly the children her teacher could have had). But the shape and plant-like shapes make me think of a bouquet, with the frills and patterns making it seem wedding-like. There’s also the giant peach rose on the top fetus, and apparently those symbolize gratitude (basically a ‘thank you’ rose).

Now onto the context! Livia’s backstory concludes with her going to her teacher’s (a social worker who helped her after everything awful she went through) wedding after cutting contact with her out of fear that her magic might cause her harm. But tragedy strikes when her teacher is killed in a motor vehicle accident right when she sees Livia after the wedding. This, understandably, makes Livia give up on caring for people, since she might as well be killing them herself. So she decides to focus on helping Kyubey, since if he achieves his ‘entropy-universe-energy’ goal, there won’t be a need for anymore Magical Girls to suffer the same way she did. So she could end up contributing some good by helping indirectly.

The top fetus, the one with the rose, is the one that sprays impurities. It’s also noticeably the biggest. It might represent how the death of her teacher was a turning point for Livia’s life.

2. Notice how that same top fetus is the only thing in the entire doppel to remain pure by the end of its attack. Even Livia herself is drowning in impurities, not to mention the other smaller fetuses. It’s this impurities-fountain’s nozzle but it seems incorruptible.

Now how do these two details connect to the larger idea? Here’s my interpretation: the doppel represents Livia’s feelings of gratitude and love for her teacher (she said that she wanted to see the woman she owed so much at the happiest moment of her life) in the form of a bouquet. But it gets twisted and corrupted by her belief that she is evil (and her magic causing misfortune), so it ends up being a bouquet that spreads misfortune rather than good. The ironic part being that the main part responsible is the one representing Livia’s gratitude for the woman who made her believe she could be good instead of evil, but it’s also the only part that remains pure, because it represents the one time where Livia let herself forget her wish (which might be why she is so vehemently strict with reminding her students of the wishes they made), and by extension, forget that she is ‘evil’.

After visiting Giverny, Monet’s garden, I prefered the garden with pond, with lot of green than flowers. It was a pleasure to discover his workplace, with beautiful light as a source of his paintings inspiration.
