jyn will absolutely refuse to take painkillers in 99% of circumstances (unless she is physically incapacitated and cannot refuse them, like post-surgery). the partisans weren't as well equipped as the rebel alliance and bacta was often hard to come by (this also explains why she has so many scars). when she was injured, she would often turn down bacta or pain meds so they could be used on someone else. and then after tamsye prime, she couldn't afford bacta or medical care.

even when medicine is freely available, she's stubborn and will insist that she's fine even if it's clear it's not. she doesn't like the foggy feeling that comes with some medicines and to her prideful ass, she's strong enough to ride out the pain without help. on the few occasions when it affects her performance, especially out in the field, she will take just enough to get her back on her feet but nothing more.

#her migraines are a bit of a grey area because she has such a high pain tolerance #and can push through them #but sometimes she needs to take a small amount of pain meds just to function #which she hates and will absolutely hold out as long as possible #because she's dumb and prideful and doesn't want to waste medicine #dumbass #about. ━ who starts a fire just to let it go out ?

I like to think that Leo one day decides to really play around with his portaling and teleportation abilities and see the full extent of them.

Like - continuously throwing one sword and teleporting to it while throwing the next one immediately and repeating this as long as he can to see how far he can keep it up without stopping.

Making little portals in the air that lead right up against the ground so he could potentially just stand on the portal in the middle of the sky.

Ultimate storage system - anything anywhere at any time is available if he knows where to get it (personally my headcanon for why he goes from two satchels to one in the movie.)

Phasing to avoid attacks - like, he could lightly toss a sword a single centimeter and teleport to it, and in that short amount of time he can completely avoid hits.

If they ever do go to space and end up on different planets, with enough training he can just…go there, whenever. Not only would this be great for being well traveled and having more places to go in general, but this also opens up more room for connections and allies that could assist them the next time they need help against a grand foe.

Leo can easily remove injured team members from a fight and get them help without having to account for transportation times.

On that note - Leo’s teleportation in particular acts on a particle level. It’s quite literally breaking him down into particles and remaking him every time he uses it. Both for him and for anyone he uses it on. Who’s to say it can’t be used for healing? At least for basic wounds.

None of this even touches upon the offensive potential of both portals and teleportation. Leo’s abilities flourish more as a support main, but that doesn’t mean those abilities can’t easily be used as weapons - and I don’t think I need to get into how exactly they can be. Portal chopping alone can take on a very different meaning…

Furthermore, I gotta wonder if he’ll always need the swords for this, or if he could one day be able to achieve the same results without them.

My point being - teleportation and portals are super OP. Even with the abilities Leo has in present they are so unbelievably adaptable and so fun to think about in terms of basic mechanics.

He didn't look down on her or mock her for wanting to not believe what was true, because it was traumatic and something she wasn't accustomed to.

HOWEVER what I really loved was that she didn't need to do smt she didn't want!! Im so glad it didn't take the 'but you have to do this' bullshit route that many stories do because it's okay not to, it's okay to know your limits and stay in it, it's okay to not want to do something you don't want to!! The main details I'm figuring out right now are

does Celebrimbor still die at Eregion - I don't think he's getting captured/tortured, but he could still die in the battle. On the other hand, he could probably survive by using Narya & Lomion using Nenya, but that would definitely have repercussions further down the line

how does Idril's deal work - I'm currently thinking of Idril exchanging the location of Gondolin for her family's guaranteed safety, because it seems in character for Reverse Idril? But on the other hand, even if I limit it to immediate family at the time of the oath (tuor, turgon, earendil) then idk where turgon dies? Maybe Maglor can kill him but that seems kind of random

how does Prince Elrond's character even work

how does Numenor still fall when factoring in Prince Elrond - I'm thinking that the morgoth death cult gained enough traction during the time sauron was there that even after Elrond kicks him out, the cult still sticks around and reemerges later? The Fall still happens, but they never go to attack valinor and there's a good deal more Faithful (maybe 40-60%?)

I made a few acrylic Ghosts charms!! :D I have plans to make all of the characters at some point (Isaac and Nisaac and Flower are up next) (making charms is expensive, hoo boy) but I started off with Sam/Jay and Hetty and Trevor!! They're 3.5" and you can grab them here!
