With the guests mingling, Eris sidled up to Helion. “I couldn’t help but notice you never finished that treaty with Beron,” Eris began, jamming his hands into his pockets. He fucking hated sand. Despite his boots rising to his knees, he could feel the granules in his socks, creating fiction against his feet. How Helion, in his godsdamned sandals, stood it was a mystery to Eris. 

“Because it was a fucking joke and he knew it. Let his people starve,” Helion said dismissively, stalking towards the carefully lain path towards his own palace where he would host a feast for his one and only heir. 

“What if it wasn’t?” Eris asked conversationally, following just beside the High Lord.

“Your mother?” Helion interrupted. 

“My emissary,” Eris said, as if Helion ought to have known. “She negotiates these things on my behalf. Tarquin is interested—”

Yeah, I really don’t think Vader would like the beach very much. Lots of sand, which he doesn’t like. Salt water, to maybe mess up his machinery (which I expect sand to do too, although really, probably neither of those things could happen because the suit seems to be watertight and therefore also would be sand tight.) Sun, which probably doesn’t affect him that much, but if he were exposed to it I think he must sunburn easily. People, lots of people, looking at him who looks very out of place on a beach. I think if you take him to the beach, Vader’s staying in the car. (Speeder??)
