another fun little au to show how they interact when they’re apart from each other. I imagine they were indecisive on which team to join (they were bored lol) and so they decided to each try one and then merge. unfortunately, neither one of them wanted to leave their respective teams for the other so now they’re kinda in a petty fight with each other

Marvalin, the eccentric wall, on team Magma and Mauriel (slight name change), the spastic oddity, on Team Aqua…sounds like a ride…

#there are a great many skills and crafts that do take time effort and whatnot to do decently well #i can verify that. i do SEVERAL myself #costume jewellery is not and will never be one of them #which is great because honestly more people should make things with their hands (if they have hands and those hands are functional) #it's good for the soul #the reverse of 'you're paying me far too much for this tbh' #is that it's probably the ONE thing that you can start doing for yourself for VERY little investment #have nice stuff almost immediately #and feel like a god for beating claire's at the own game

To me, the biggest difference between comic Wallace and Anime Wallace is that Comic Wallace is like a normal guy who (imo) is very obviously still just a 25 year old making stupid decisions and working in shitty jobs and barely getting by, and he just looks more competent when standing next to massive boy-failure Scott (and because hes sassy and carefree). and Anime Wallace is beloved by the universe, so he just gets an acting job for being Wallace, with 5 stunt doubles (that he bargained for with a lawyer Comic Wallace probably could never afford. Seriously, where did he get that money??? Did he seduce a lawyer???????) and a millionaire husband, and lives in a millionaire mansion where he drinks all day and never has to work again. And like good for him, I guess? Slay.

ok i know i'm approaching "i never noticed she's holding a plate of corn" levels of gomens posting here but aziraphale seems to own at least 4 near identical coats and it's cracking me up a bit

there's his regular coat (long, beige, big pockets on each side)

there's his in house coat (white-greyish, two sets of pockets, smaller lapels, and it also looks to be made from a thicker fabric) i call it his in house coat because he only ever wears it inside. here's him getting maggie's note in the grey coat

and here's him in the next scene in her shop, now in the regular coat

the third coat is his detective/newspaperman coat

long, same color as his regular coat, no pockets, lots of useless buttons, weird things on his shoulders, and it seems to be slightly too big for him and finally there's the 1941 coat

it's nearly identical to his regular coat except it's darker and thicker, and the lapels have this weird triangular shape. coincidentally, crowley's lapels in the present day are in the same style/shape

#i checked and all of them except for the detective coat were present in season 1 as well so it is probably common knowledge #however i dont care. when season 1 aired i was sane and wasnt paying attention to aziraphale's coats #and he had to find and buy them all too #well he probably went to a tailor but you know #i appreciate that he adapts his clothes to the situation while also keeping them nearly identical. fascinating little man #gomens #good omens

How powerful is Vocx compared to Vox? Is either more powerful than the other? How differently is the Voxtech run and what's their reputation like in Hell?

Vocx is more powerful by far. I picture vox as one of those people who smiles on the surface but attempting to teach him anything makes him resent the fuck out of you. Vocx doesn’t have that problem. He’s got pride but he’s got no problem putting away to learn from his betters. So he both has more tricks just from the other overlords and more social connections and powerful friends. Letting other people teach you things is a sure fire way to make friends. People, no matter how awful, all like feeling smart and helping.

Plus I’m kinda yanking the Yrz method of contracting and having Vocx be one of the fairest overlords to work for (except without yrzs moral objections to literally owning people lol. When in rome etc). He treats it like an actual job, with performance reviews and everything. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar, so being one of Vocxs people is considered pretty desirable. The grunts in the company don’t get contracts but above a certain level, being promoted means being contracted to Vocx.
