I think it seems likely that Alaric and Kaleb did not tell Landon about the details of golem Landon and what Cleo did since Landon had to ask how many fake Landons there were (when there were only two). It’s as if they barely told him anything and didn’t explain what even happened, which isn’t surprising with how much they lied and kept things from people. And Landon not really getting any information, therefore never actually finding out about Cleo manipulating and betraying Hope, is the only thing that would make his behavior towards Cleo make sense. Because there’s no way he would’ve been nice to Cleo like he was if he’d known that she’d used the memory of him to trick Hope and then tried to kill her as well. I mean, we saw how he reacted when Roman showed up and that he made it clear he was not okay with him and didn’t find him trustworthy after what he’d done to Hayley. There’s no way Landon would’ve been friendly with Cleo at all or wanted anything to do with her, and no way he wouldn’t have confronted her either, if he’d known what she did to Hope.

going absolutely bonkers insane right now
#just read through a couple of alternative yulia dialogues#(from the first day)#and i was genuinely surprised to see how complex was her answer to such supersticious tales and traditions inherent from the town#from an outside perspective she is seen as skeptical beyond repair of the townsfolk cultural deeds. as told by alexander himself#but in reality. when talking about the steppe and twyre. she does come to admit to believing in the existence of the clay golem#and even going as further as to say she theorizes of the works that such charms as bull tails and ''milk-teeth'' are indeed protective#(though making an exclusive marking that such are only effective to those who have ingrained beliefs like children and the Steppe)#(thus failing to execute properly or at all at their primary objetives as charms on skeptical people as herself and daniil)#that was such a hit on the stomach because#i thought that. albeit rather neutral to matters like this as in the second game. she was still to take the side of belief on raw input#but it is clearly stated that she would anger daniil by claiming to partake on the acknowledgement of a shabnak's existence#that is such a game changer to what ive been developing over her dynamic with katerina and does that open some doors /lh#im so happy with this information i got#even though id still be more than excited about delving into the concepts of having someone like daniil within the town#that is such an interesting and valuable piece of information#just rambling#theres brain matter all over the floor now thank you very much

I also want to know more about your Minecraft boyos
You do? :0 Well sure! :DD Here I have a pretty old sketch of the whole Minecraft gang together. And a more recent sketch of just Melvin and a few others.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These OCS were based on a Minecraft world I had with a friend. Everything that happened in that world I translated into these characters in some way. As for what that story is, I wont dig into the nitty gritty to keep it short, just the basics.
Our story starts with Melvin the Donkey. He came from a village of other anthropomorphic animals.. but at some point when he was a teen(?) the village was raided by pillagers and burnt down.. He was the only survivor.. He grew up out in the wilderness by himself. Eventually he found a pillager outpost..
Fueled by anger and a need for revenge, he stormed into the outpost and managed to burn it down and kill all the pillagers. In that outpost though there were 6 trapped Allays. In his blind rage the cages were destroyed. 1 Allay escaped out into the woods. 2 died in the fire Melvin created. 1 was greatly wounded and the last 2 stayed behind to help the injured one. After Melvin snapped out of his rage he saw the 3 remaining Allays and brought them to safety.
He made a campfire and tried to help the wounded Allay.. but alas.. its injuries were too severe. The allay died. The other 2 allays ended up staying with Melvin and traveled with him. In their travels they found the Allay that escaped into the woods, and they became a group of four.
Also during his travels he met Butters. A yellow Axolotl that left his village underground seeking adventure. He ended up becoming Melvin's best friend. Melvin had no say in the matter-
Sometime after that when the group was running through a thunderstorm, a skeleton they were about to run past was struck by lightning. Turning into 4 skeletons riding 4 skeleton horses. The skeletons attacked Melvin so he fought back. Knocking one skeleton off, the horse ran away. Battling the others he killed all 4 skeletons and had to take down the 3 horses.
After the battle was over, Melvin heard struggling nearby. He goes to investigate and finds the 4th horse stuck in a mud pit. He calms the horse down and helps it climb out. New friend aquired!
Now the Librarian, 2 fletchers and the golem came from a village that had been destroyed by pillagers. The golem had grabbed them and ran, knowing it couldn't win against the pillagers. The villagers though had no idea how to survive out in the wilderness. How to find food, how to hunt and kill.. That's when they met Melvin and they struck a deal. Melvin: "You tell your Golem to protect me and my friends, and I will teach you how to hunt, find food and cook said food." "Deal." New friends aquired!
Then lastly the wolves. They were 2 bothers that got separated somehow. Thinking that one of them injured his leg and was swept down a river..? Melvin's group found him and nursed him back to health. later on he was reunited with his brother but they decided to stick with Melvin's group. New friends acquired! XD
Aaaaaaand that's about the gist of it XDD Thank you for reading all of this if you made it that far! :}}

I meant to post something about when Cale received the letter from the God of Death, but that whole bit is just too damn good. I basically focused on reading it and didn't really think of writing about it.
This is where we truly start to learn about Kim Rok Soo's past. There were a lot of teasers before - learning that his Korea has monsters, that he was a Team Leader, that his company dealt with monsters and corrupt guilds. That he had an ability like Record.
There were some flashbacks, especially to some of his interactions with Choi Jung Soo (who we learned died before him back when Cale had that memory after fighting the golems) and Lee Soo Hyuk...
And then we got the letter from the God of Death, and Kim Rok Soo had a truly traumatic flashback to when they all died.
I think this is the first time we truly saw him shaken? The guy with the perfect memory, the guy who could record and playback everything, experienced something so traumatic that his records were broken.
We see that Kim Rok Soo was an analyst. A very good one. One able to predict a terrible monster (and thus felt guilty that his entire team died fighting said monster -though he seems to have worked through that. Some. Mostly.
We see how he interacted with his friends, really his family. And in a subordinate role, unlike most of what we've seen.
There's this bit where he'd overused his ability and had a bloody nose, and Lee Soo Hyuk tells him
‘Kim Rok Soo, wipe your nosebleed. You should get some rest if you have overloaded.’
Which contrasts with after their deaths, when he's briefing the reinforcements and notes
The reinforcements all focused on his explanation, but nobody said anything about wiping his bloody nose.
So much desolation from such a small thing.
And the request to retrieve their bodies! Over and over again, we've seen how much Cale cares about retrieving bodies and showing respect for the dead. Insisting on improving the graves at Harris Village, recovering all the remains from the Path of No Return, protecting the dead in the fight against Adin...
While that didn't solely come from this incident (the losses in his monster torn Korea played a role, this is why he truly understands how important that is for the ones left behind.
And we also see how he didn't want his team to fight that monster. He knew, with all his analytical skills, that it was too powerful. That it was likely that they'd all die. Even though even more people would die if they didn't (since the guild in that area had run away).
He straight up says how it made him feel.
The reinforcements had been too late. Boom. Boom. Cale’s heart suddenly ran wild. The sense of responsibility, anger, and sorrow that had made Kim Rok Soo’s heart boil had risen.
A responsibility to stay alive (even if he doesn't really want to), to carry on in Lee Soo Hyuk's place ('I leave it to you').
We learn why he despises the concept of heroic sacrifice so much, why he works so hard to come up with plans that ensure nobody has to. That nobody is ever in the position where they feel compelled to do so (though if it does come to that, he'd rather be the one to do so... Than be the one left behind. Again.)
And there's this, that he thinks after Raon and Alberu break his flashback (such good friends and family) and he finishes the letter.
Cale knew that he was selfish and bad and that he cherished people who were important to him the most.
Selfish - because he wishes his team had run away and survived? Bad - because he knows that if they had, many more would have suffered instead?
He cares, he cares so damn much. And he also seems to hate himself quite a bit, though I say that not just because of this. Also his hypocrisy towards scars, where it's fine in Mary and Hannah and a sign of survival, but disgusting and something to hide in himself. That, and numerous other things that don't seem obvious at first because damn is he good at masking it and seeming normal, but yeah...
This whole scene is just so well done, means so much, answers so many of our questions, and once you know about it you can see how it affected everything.
Addendum: we also see a contrast between what Cale recalls here, and what Choi Han experiences with Choi Jung Soo's memories. Especially how he saw Kim Rok Soo use a metal board as a shield to defend him, and shortly after broke an arm.
Cale didn't mention that at all, didn't explain why he couldn't move when you he reinforcements came.

uhhhh lore drop much??????
when you take into account the fact that machines began being developed during WW1 in the ultrakill universe (there's evidence look it up) and, uh, whatever this is...
you start to consider that maybe the machines aren't "alive" because of their AI, but perhaps it was their flesh and blood. they weren't driven by artificial reasons, but by supernatural ones.
they're called "machines" and not "bots" or "droids" for a reason.
these aren't robots. they're essentially metal golems, risen from the blood of human beings. blood isn't fuel in the sense of going into an engine, it's fuel in the sense of flowing through veins.
this pretty much explains how so many machines managed to reach hell. sure, some just went there out of their own volition like v1 or v2, but pretty much almost all other machines we see ingame would be completely incapable of making it down there by themselves. things like drones or streetcleaners would get their asses absolutely rocked by some of the things we've had to fight on our journey into the depths, and yet we keep seeing them on the way there.
they're in hell because they were ALIVE. they had SOULS. they died and went to hell.
i think this was subtly implied by the earthmover terminal entry said that when the sun was covered by ash and soot, the earthmovers "died out" instead of just "shut down".
this also explains why the only machines we see in limbo are drones and streetcleaners. they're the only ones that weren't invented purely for destruction and chaos, and thus, the only ones capable of being morally "ambiguous".
it's also why we're only now seeing guttermen, guttertanks and earthmovers in the violence layer. they were machines invented purely for war and nothing else, of course they would've all had commited the sin of violence and therefore be damned to AT LEAST go to layer 7.
of course, this theory doesn't really hold up with more, uh, human layers, like greed or wrath. machines can't be greedy, they have no concept of money. machines can't be wrathful, they can't express anger.
the same can't be said for lust, though. mindflayers are the only new machines we see there, and uh, you can probably see what i mean just by looking at them. yeesh. their rather revealing forms are enough to offend the holy father and damn them to such a layer.
neither can it be said for gluttony. machines can very much be gluttonous, seeing how they obsess over wanting blood to fuel themselves so much, when in reality they could last a long time without having to refuel, yet they yearn for blood anyways. think about it. what is food, but fuel for humans?
just to make ends meet in this theory i've got going, i'm just gonna assume that hell does sometimes move machines around layers for the hell of it (pun absolutely intended lmao)

Hiii 👋 Saw that you're taking requests. Have you seen the second prompt on the "angry confessions" post? I think it suits laishuro nicely 🙈
"I can't leave you alone for one second without you hurting yourself, can I?" Toshiro grumbled.
Laios laughed sheepishly. "I mean, I'm fine so it's okay-"
"No, it's not okay!" It was nightfall in the dungeon, taking shelter for the night when Toshiro had asked Laios to see the healed wound on his forearm from the golem attack that occurred earlier, taking the party by surprise. Toshiro and Namari saved the day, and if it weren't for them, Laios would've been crushed to a pulp. "Not when I feel like I'm going to go batshit fucking crazy, thinking you've hurt yourself."
Laios went silent, watching Toshiro examine his arm. He nervously glanced at Toshiro's angered face, eyebrows twitching, worrying at his lower lip.
"Ah..." Laios chuckled, a faint blush on his cheeks, scratching his head. "Sorry about that. I really worried you back there."
Toshiro glared at him, unable to fight the urge to reach over and tug on Laios' stupid nose, watching him squirm and whine in protest.
"Worry is an understatement, you fool!" Toshiro hissed, careful to not wake up the other party members. "I'm always running all over the place, saving you, you should be able to save yourself..." He ranted on, and a long exhale escaped his lips. "And what if something were to happen, and none of us are around?"
"Shuro," Laios called his name, his voice so gentle it caught Toshiro off guard. Toshiro gathered the courage to look his nuisance of a companion in the eye, ignoring how it made his chest tighten, his throat dry, and his heart pound. Was Laios' eyes always so captivating, like bathing in pure gold? "I'm never worried when I get hurt, because I know you'll always be there to save me. You protect me, and for that, I can trust that you'll be by my side, right?"
Toshiro opened his mouth, gawking. Laios blinked in confusion.
"Why's your face so red, Shuro?"
"Such nonsense!" Toshiro exclaimed, vexing. "You are a skilled warrior, so act like it, for God's sake!"
Laios laughed. "Aw, thanks! So are you!"
Toshiro could just strangle the man right here. No one would know. That was if Toshiro tried as hard as he could to hide Laios' body. Party members looked out for each other; they protected each other. He couldn't just leave Laios to die, throw him to the wolves. Skilled or not, someone needed to keep an eye on his blindspot.
It just so happened Toshiro had to be his knight and shining armor. If he had told Namari about this, she'd just poke fun at him for pretending he didn't care. You'd save him in a heartbeat and you know it, she had said once.
And it wasn't just her, sometimes, Falin thanked him for protecting Laios every now and then. Marcille as well.
They trusted Laios to be Toshiro's responsibility, and there was absolutely no other way to put it.
Toshiro scooted away from Laios, lying on the blankets, feeling himself grow weary.
"Toshiro," he mumbled, turning to his side. Laios hadn't lied down yet, feeling his presence looming over Toshiro's form. "My name. It's Toshiro."
Laios hummed, before he repeated, slowly. "Toshiro."
"Yes. Toshiro."
"So, then, it's not Shuro..." Laios figured. Then, he gasped, startling Toshiro. "Shit! I didn't realize I've been calling you the wrong name all this time! Why didn't you tell me?!"
"Keep your voice down you imbecile," Toshiro scolded, hearing rustling as Laios got into his blankets, unusually closer to Toshiro than before. After Laios went quiet, he confessed, "I don't know why. Everyone had gotten used to it already..."
"Well, I can get used to Toshiro," Laios insisted, stubborn as always. "Besides, I like Toshiro a lot more. Sounds pretty... Toshiro... Toshiro..." He murmured to himself, trying to memorize every syllable, so it would permanently burn into his mind. He sounded content, determined, as if he had nearly forgotten everything else that happened today.
Another blush blossomed on Toshiro's cheeks in the dark of the night.
send me a prompt and i'll write you a drabble!

Jaune go's to a monster school au. He is a Human aloud to go because his family His ability and his abundance of Mana. He was never that how to use it the So, despite getting similar results to other students, he uses absurd amounts of manna on stuff that really should abuse that much. Weiss is a vampier, rwby werewolf, yang a dragon, penny a golem, Blake is a werecat, Ren a ghost, Nora a Valkyrie, pariah is a demigod daughter of Aries.
Jaune: Hi, I'm Jaune. Jaune Arc. Short, sweet, and rolls of the tongue. The ladies love it~.
Jaune: ...Okay, maybe they don't now, but they will! Anyway, that's not what I wanted to talk about. See, I kind of need to vent, and this is the only way I really can.
Jaune: But what do I have to vent about? I have a great family, a lot of great friends, and a bright future ahead of me! I just... have to survive until I reach it.
Jaune: ...Let me start over. My name is Jaune Arc, the only son born to the Arc family, who are one of the few families on Remnant with access to mana, or magic. I'm not very good at it, but I'm good enough to not be allowed to go to normal, regular people school.
Jaune: So that's why I'm attending Beacon's Light Academy of Magic, which was explained to me at one of the four "Great Mage" academies in Remnant, along with Atlas's Might, Haven's Garden, and Vacuo's End. It's not so bad so far, since I'm learning a lot at Beacon with my best friend, Ruby Rose.
-------------------------------------------
Jaune: What's for lunch, Ruby?
Ruby: (Sniffs) Mm... Beef...
Jaune: What else?
Ruby: Uh... I don't know. Why? The only thing you need to eat is beef, pork, and chicken, right?
Jaune: Uh...
-------------------------------------------
Jaune: See, Ruby is a werewolf. Yeah. You heard me. Half-human, half-wolf. I don't really know what the story is, since I don't really pry into her business, but Ruby basically has what's called "primal mana," which is magic based on tapping into your most base instincts and emotions, like fear, anger, and hunger. She's usually cool, except on the days that have full moons later that night, then she gets super irritable. She can still go to day classes, but she has to go to the safety bunker before... Well, based on the claw marks I see getting fixed the next morning, it's something super bad. Like, so bad, Weiss can't go to her night classes.
Jaune: Oh, speaking of Weiss, she's also my friend, and I kinda have crush on her. ...Okay, she's not really my friend yet. More of a friend of a friend. But I'm getting there, I think. But it might be best for me to keep my distance from her because the reason I can only see her so few times is because...
-------------------------------------------
Jaune: Oh, uh, h-hey, Weiss!
Weiss: For the love of... Good morning, Jaune.
Jaune: So, uh, how... How were your classes?
Weiss: Fine, Jaune.
Jaune: Cool, cool... So, uh... Do you... wanna get some... blood?
Weiss: (Puts her book down)
Weiss: (Slowly turns to look at him, Bewildered)
Jaune: ...Is that a no?
-------------------------------------------
Jaune: Look, if someone as flat and uninteresting as romance novel teens can get vampires, why shouldn't I try my luck? You know, besides the fact that I'm Type-O and probably a better meal than a friend to her. Nevertheless, I will keep trying... until she tells me she wants nothing to do with me. Which she hasn't. Yet. But she won't! Maybe.
Jaune: Anyway, being a vampire is kind of a double-edged lottery sword. It's part of something called "genesis mana," or "Blood Magic". Only people of a certain bloodline can access this, but it also curses your family to become some kind of monster, like a vampire, a wendigo, or even a werewolf. And that's why the Schnee family is so picky about who hangs out with who. My dad used to tell me that some families turn away suitors because "certain blood dulls the mana". He also tells me it's stupid, but also stupid to try my luck. Thankfully, he's not here to judge me, and I have friends who're willing to support me, like Ruby and...
-------------------------------------------
Penny: Sal-u-tations~!
Jaune: Oh, hey, Penny. What's going on?
Penny: I have heard about your recent failures with friend Weiss and have been instructed by friend Ruby to cheer you up!
Ruby: W-What?! N-No, I didn't!
Jaune: ...
Jaune: (Writes on a napkin) Ruby, I have a command written on this napkin. The command is, "Show me every command Ruby gave." You either tell me the truth, or I ask Penny to eat this.
Ruby: She can say no, though, so there!
Jaune: Penny, would you like to eat this napkin with a command written on it?
Penny: Yes, I would!
Ruby: NOOOOOOO!
-------------------------------------------
Jaune: She's also a really great lie detector. I mean, except for when telling her own lies. That's just how golems are, I guess. Penny is kind of a... experiment Atlas is testing out at Beacon. She's going to be attending here as a way to test if golems are sentient and capable of safely interacting with other people. Why a school full of young adults would be considered safe, I have no idea, but I'm glad to have a friend like Penny around. And as far as I can tell, whether you were born or crafted together with "creati mana," you're still human to me!
Jaune: Uh, I mean people! You're still people to me! Hah... Sorry... Last time I said "human," I got on the bad side of...
-------------------------------------------
Blake: You were late to class.
Jaune: Sorry, sorry!
Blake: Being sorry doesn't excuse you showing up late.
Jaune: Right, sorry. I was up late last night, reading a really good issue of X-Ray and Vav.
Blake: ...You stayed up late. For a comic book.
Jaune: A really good one! You like reading, don't you?
Blake: ...
Blake: (Digs claws into the table)
-------------------------------------------
Jaune: Yeah, Ruby isn't the only one who can access "primal mana". In fact, it's a lot more common for faunus to access it than humans, for obvious reasons. But unlike Ruby, Blake seems irritated all the time when it comes to hanging out with me. Honestly, she feels more like a friend of a friend than Weiss does with me. Almost every word that I say seems to piss her off, and I don't know why.
Jaune: Hah... Guess I'm just unlucky with girls as friends, since I get along really well with...
-------------------------------------------
Jaune: Yo, Ren!
Ren: Good morning, Jaune.
Jaune: Any luck last night?
Ren: Not yet. But I did rearrange the recipe in the cafeteria for a healthier meal this afternoon.
Jaune: Oh... Uh...
Ruby: WHERE'S THE BEEF?!
-------------------------------------------
Jaune: Ren is a ghost, and he's been haunting this school for the past... I don't really know. But what I do know is how Ren got to where he is now. See, he was human, like me, and before he died in school, he cast a spell that bound his soul to the school.
Ren: Wrong.
Jaune: AGH!
Ren: I was attuned with "psyki mana" and could manifest my soul so I could find my best friend after I died. We were supposed to graduate, but when I finally came to life, she'd already left without me.
Jaune: Wait, you didn't cast a spell or anything?
Ren: In order for me to cast, I would require access to my aura, which was lost in my final moments. But my soul is still present, though it requires time and effort to manifest.
Jaune: ...
Ren: You can just say you don't know.
Jaune: I don't know. But, uh, were you able to get into the office?
Ren: No. Access to the office is protected from every mana variant known to Remnant. Nothing magical in nature, including a ghost, can enter.
Jaune: Geez, that's rough. You know who might be able to help?
-------------------------------------------
Nora: Alright, alright, what's going on now?
Jaune: Uh, well, I was just making my way to class when suddenly-
Nora: Were you attacking this poor girl?!
Jaune: What?! No! It's the other way around!
Nora: HA! Yeah, right! Look at you! You're twice her size and SHE attacked you?
Ruby: You stole my comic book!
Jaune: I did not!
Nora: Oh, really? Hand it over, kid.
Jaune: But-
Nora: HAND. IT. OVER.
-------------------------------------------
Jaune: ...On second thought, nevermind. Valkyries aren't really that helpful, are they?
Ren: It depends on what the situation is. If it's in response to a violent crime, they are merciless and will do whatever it takes to protect the innocent in the magic realm.
Jaune: But if it's a petty crime?
Ren: They... can be a bit biased in who they assist. Unless their opponent is a hostile monster with a weapon, they're not good with delegation and diplomacy. But they do care.
Jaune: Well, you could always ask one, right?
Ren: Unfortunately, no. Valkyries are protected by a specialized armor that prevents the effects of mana. A ghost like me can't even be seen by them, let alone get near one.
Jaune: Dang... Well, best of luck to you.
Ren: Thank you. Also, before I leave, I was asked to find you.
Jaune: Really? By who?
-------------------------------------------
Jaune: Uh, h-hi...
Pyrrha: H-Hi...
Jaune: ...
Pyrrha: ...
Jaune: So, uh-
Pyrrha: DADDY, NO!
Jaune: Wha-?
Jaune: (Sees giant boar barreling at him)
-------------------------------------------
Jaune: Ugh... Great... You ever heard of helicopter parents? Well, with someone like Pyrrha, her helicopter dad comes equipped with a rocket launcher and twin machine guns. And a hatred for any boy that gets close to his daughter. Kind of expected since her dad is the God of War. And when I say god, I mean ALL the gods of war to have ever existed. It's part of her "deity mana," where a very lucky few are literal descendants of the divine. And hers happens to be the embodiment of war, violence, and combat. So not only can her dad kick my ass, but SHE can kick my ass!
Jaune: I don't know how I'm going to survive this school, but hey, here's hoping I can at least make it to graduation!
Jaune: ...Er, no offense, Ren.

Reactions to Cale Snow's Chapter 231
TL;DR - The pope plots while the Dragon Lord is away. Dragon with past attribute and CJG are rumored to be with the white snake beastkin elder. DHB has mixed feelings about his situation. Dragon Lord goes to Central Plains in search of the ring.
The Pope's Revenge First half of the chapter was about the pope of the church, Kesilia. I initially spelt this as "Casillia", but upon further research, Kesilia was the closest English translation to the Korean word used for her name. The author was probably inspired by "Caecilianus", a Roman bishop in the past, but the "cae" in the name could be pronounced as "se" at times, which was different from the "ke" used in the Korean spelling of her word. So Kesilia it is.
Moving on, Kesilia was actually a mixed blood dragon too who was nearing her death. But she greatly hated her "father", the Dragon Lord. Something about how the Dragon Lord trampled her dreams, so she was planning to trample his dreams too.
She hated the fact that the mixed blood dragons were the ones who shed the blood the most during the great upheaval, yet until now, there was no world for them. They were still treated as the minions of dragons.
So she wanted to destroy Aipotu as revenge. She was going to die anyway, so why not drag down everyone with her? The Dragon Lord was away, and if Kendall got killed too, it would cause chaos in the world. She planned to use that chaos to achieve her revenge.
Apparently, she had lied to Kendall about the Dragon Lord giving an order. In fact, the Dragon Lord had gone to another world in search of something, so she couldn't even report to him about the subjugation force's failure. Yet she sent Kendall in hopes that whoever caused the failure of the subjugation force would also kill Kendall.
The White Snake Beastkin She had been mentioned a lot of times in the past chapters, and this time, we got more info about her, or more like, the people heading to her place.
Remember Maxi, the dead dragon with the future attribute, who Cale's group met in Central Plains? She once mentioned about a dragon with a past attribute whom she presumed to have died. But apparently, according to Pope Kesilia's intelligence, that dragon was still alive and pretending to be a fortune teller!
He was rumored to be traveling towards the residence of the white snake beastkin. And one more interesting fact, in the village he was said to be staying in, a crazy guy claiming to be a dragon slayer was there. Pope Kesilia deduced that crazy guy to be the wanderer who had eluded them months ago... Yeah, that's definitely CJG. 😂
The funny thing was, Kesilia thought it was those three who were behind the failure of the subjugation force. 😂 And she sent Kendall there, hoping that those three would kill Kendall.
DHB's Troubles Surprisingly, a quarter of today's chapter focused on the perspective of DHB. Having finished their interrogation of Jenyu, they found out that mbd were more like "living golems" than a chimera like DHB. The gem embedded on an mbd's chest was filled with dragon blood, and the beings who endured that gem were called mixed blood dragons. Thus, DHB thought that this world was horrible for creating those living golems.
This was followed by his confused thoughts and mixed feelings about the people who cared about him. Necromancer Mary patted him and left him because she thought he wanted some alone time. Sheritt brushed off the snow in his eyes, and talked to him kindly. And he felt that he was undeserving to receive a name from Cale.
His thoughts were quite sad, honestly. Whenever he saw Sheritt's smile, he sometimes saw her anger. Sometimes, her pity, sadness, or regret. But the "affection" he felt from her was something he thought to be only his illusion. He doubted that she would be affectionate to him, and that it was only him who wanted that affection.
He was more in pain than when he had a lifespan limit. Poor DHB wanted to live in the black castle forever because it was peaceful here. But at the same time, it was painful for him because it made him clearly remember his past sins.
Hardworking Jungwon Jungwon is back! He messaged Cale, reporting that a dragon had secretly entered Central Plains and was headed towards the Sichuan Province. Cale immediately figured out that it was the Dragon Lord who was searching for the ring of the dragon lord.
And Cale had his scam smile as he thought of taking advantage of the situation where the Dragon Lord was away. But Raon was scared of his smile, and Eruhaben looked at Cale strangely. 🤣🤣🤣
Ending Remarks Today was a good chapter as it fleshed out two characters and confirmed the existence of the past dragon and CJG. I wonder if the next chapter would be Cale's return to the black castle. Cale had said that he would give DHB a name at his return, so I'm hoping that we'll get DHB's naming scene soon!

Creature
This is, of course, for this one special anon ♥ Jokes aside, always remember guys to not read stuff that isn’t appealing to you instead of regretting it later (;
Fandom: Original Content Pairings: Yandere!Hephaestus x GN!Darling!Reader  (However, I did decide on calling them Priestess in this work, though nothing else as indication) Warnings: Yandere, Sexual Content (Planning to set the reader up for sex, Dub-Con, Monster Fucking, Implied Cuckolding, various innuendos, Getting flashed), Forced Relationship, Power Imbalance, Possessiveness, Jealousy, Mention of insecurities and anger issues
Prompt: @sintember Free Day Friday: Creature - Monsters, beasts, cryptids galore. We can’t let those humans think they run the show.
»»———————— ♡ ————————««
"So… how do you like him?"
Hephaestus's hands fell to your shoulders. Large thumbs resting against the back of your neck while his fingers wrapped around your throat, sliding under the golden necklaces he crafted for you. Once again, he let you feel his subtle superiority over you as he leaned against you ever so slightly, pushing you down. Putting you into your lowly, human place by his side. It was just his illusive way of exerting his power over you, but you were so used to it that you didn't try to stand up straight and push back against him. To stay in favor was the goal when it came to the gods, even with someone as kind and forgiving as Hephaestus was. Being defiant towards him would result in him pinning you down on the ashen floor of his forge until you swore your devotion to him, and later remark how dirty you looked and how it was unfitting of your position.
So, instead, you kept your eyes pinned on the monstrosity before you. You wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt, that looks were deceiving, and you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but you had no other words to describe it. It was a creature formed after a man but clearly nowhere near human. And after being with Hephaestus for what must be years on earth now, you knew this was a golem rather than a living, breathing being. It was also, very clearly, not his first try, which unnerved you more. This had been a planned and practiced endeavor, and you weren't sure how to properly accept such a gift from your benefactor.
You could have had it worse with the god whose eyes you caught. Had it been anyone else but Hephaestus, well… You saw what they did to the other humans; the shameful displays and broken minds. Being a priestess to the god of blacksmiths and various other crafty skills, your worst experience was the nude modeling for his creations in front of other beings interested in his doings. Otherwise, you were a glorified house warmer, just making sure to wipe the floor after Hephaestus came home, dragging ashes after him, and helping him wash and relax after another day of working. You'd also serve him as his personal outlet for various rants and reassure the big, mighty smith when his thoughts turned angry and insecure. In return, you were spared the same awful life that your fellow humans on Olympus had, which you were endlessly grateful for. You could spend your days resting and honing your own skills when he wasn't at home, Hephaestus never telling you what to do or constantly attend him. The only times you really left his lofty home were the occasional times you two had to go to an outing of the gods or when he asked you to come and fetch a new gift he had made for you from his forge yourself.
But you weren't sure you wanted that.
"He'll help you at home," Hephaestus explained proudly, moving around you and patting the back of the golem who stood closer to the god's height than yours. He was shimmering, silver iron, a piece of art so delicately crafted that he moved soundlessly despite his massiveness. With toned muscles chiseled into his body, he almost looked as handsome as Apollo. However, when Hephaestus beckoned you closer, the golem holding his hand out to you, you felt the freezing cold of metal against your fingertips, smooth like stone in the ocean.
The hairs carved onto his head didn't move as he cocked his head at you, probably wondering why you were so warm in comparison. It just was unnatural not seeing the strands move. But his eyes were no better, soulless gems hammered into his head, lips carved into an eternal, gentle smile. He was unnerving, but how could you possibly deny such kindness from your god? Even if it wasn't the blessing of being allowed to return to the human realm, refusing the golem he had crafted to assist you for the small chores you had to do every day, might shatter what little respect Hephaestus had for his human. You didn't want to think about the things he would be capable of doing once you lost his favor.
Hephaestus might have been nicer than other gods, but you weren't an idiot trusting in just the gentle attitude he showed towards you until now. He, too, had his fair share of misdeeds and anger issues, and you knew the crooked ways he looked at you when he thought you didn't notice, his gaze burning on your skin. You weren't the only one to notice, either. Whenever you two met Aphrodite (much to the chagrin of both gods), she'd give you one of these burning looks as well. Hephaestus at least looked at you with something akin to serenity and delight, but hers was a look so full of pity it was barely endurable. And that while she had countless of mindless humans flocking around her that you felt were much more to be pitied than you.
But who were you to judge immortals and their ways? A lot of what you learned about them in the mortal realm hadn't exactly turned out to be wrong, but they were definitely different from how you expected them to be. All you could do was hold out your hand as politely as possible, watching in a mix of fear and surprise as the golem bent to kiss the back of it, cold lips lingering reverently against your skin. Your face snapped to Hephaestus as you wanted to make sure it would not upset him, but he looked at his creation in a mix of pride and adoration. As if it was his child.
"T-Thank you…" you stuttered, getting very mixed signals here.
Hephaestus didn't like you around the other humans or gods. He didn't want you to participate in games or even to wait on him, hand and foot. He mostly kept you by his side when he could, not allowing anyone closer to you than he was. Even if this was just a golem, you thought he'd hate seeing any kind of contact between you two aside from a quick handshake as you tried to offer.
"You like him then?" Hephaestus asked, finally looking back at your flustered, anxious form, and you nicked, again polite rather than genuine.
"That's good," he sighed, and you almost felt like he was deeply relieved, though you didn't know what was bothering him so, despite you being closer to him than even his family. "You tend to be alone while I work here, so he's in charge of keeping you company and protecting you."
Feeling like this was genuinely meant as just another kind gesture from him, you smiled for the first time, slowly nodding in understanding. "Thank you for considering me," you told Hephaestus, and he smiled back. He looked almost boyish in the way his eyes sparkled and the happiness of his achievement spread over his face. He seemed very pleased with his creation and bringing you joy through it. You usually weren't as happy about his other gifts, too many necklaces and rings stored away in your closet already. It had become increasingly hard to feign surprise and adoration for every piece of jewelry he made for you. So even though it still felt weird to lay your eyes on the creature, you actually felt Hephaestus's concern for you as you looked at it, albeit unnecessary since you rarely left his house without him and could maintain it just fine.
"I'm very relieved," he confirmed your suspicion, dragging a large hand over the golem's head in a bizarre form of a pet. "There've been things I couldn't do for you yet, so I wanted you to have a companion who'd be able to satisfy your every need."
Taken aback by the statement, you looked up at Hephaestus, furrowing your brows as you tried to think of what he could mean. Unable to figure it out on your own, you looked back at the golem who, despite his expression being chiseled into his face, seemed a bit mischievous now. Even Hephaestus let out a small chuckle, seeing your surprised confusion, before gesturing at his creation, the golem reaching for the knot holding the expensive-looking fabric he wore in place.
In a swift movement, the garment fell to the floor, and you released a startled gasp, shielding your eyes with your hands and turning around. "What do you think?" Hephaestus asked, pride vibrating in his laugh. "A perfect replica of mine, wouldn't you say?"
Embarrassed and having not expected this surprise, you just nodded to keep the peace and not unnecessarily hurt his pride, your gaze having not lingered on the erect cock and full balls the golem was gifted with, unable to compare them to what Hephaestus looked like naked. Nudity wasn't that big of a deal for you anymore after living in a society that didn't care so much about modesty. Still, perhaps it was the surprise that a mere golem could have something lingering there. Why would Hephaestus even give you something like this? It had been unthinkable, considering how possessive he usually was. You had done nothing to warrant his suspicion about your needs needing to be met, and this was also not very appropriate for a priestess sworn to Hephaestus. Or maybe it was? Since it was his creation?
Gently gripping your chin between two fingers, he turned you around again, forcing you to gaze at the golem despite averting your gaze out of respect. "It's fine to look," Hephaestus absolved you. You hesitantly opened your eyes and bit your lip while meeting his gaze coyly.
"I know how you humans are. Always needy, always greedy. That's why I decided to take matters into my own hands. Like the others, I know you will betray me one day. "
The last statement made your expression harden, your hands snapping to wrap around his fingers. "I would never–" you tried, but he hushed you, unnervingly composed, gently applying more pressure on his grip to shut you up.
"Everyone does," he sighed, closing his eyes and scrunching his nose to hold back the feelings boiling up inside him. For a moment, you felt genuinely bad, knowing how much he had been betrayed by those closest to him from the tales around Hephaestus. His expression turned sourly before he took a deep breath, opening his eyes again to look at you. "So I am giving you this present, and tonight, you will take him to bed in front of me."
Appalled, you stared at Hephaestus, your mouth opening ever so slightly as the thought of allowing this golem to do what neither a spouse nor your god had, settled into your mind. Hephaestus had never pushed you into a sexual relationship—though the other humans certainly had that kind of involvement with their gods—even when touched and demanded your nearness. You had always been grateful for that as well. But as beautiful as he was—and you were sure Hephaestus created the golem with your satisfaction in mind and to suit your taste—he wasn't real and couldn't even speak. Wouldn't it hurt if he embraced you? Would the kiss not be terribly dull? There would be no feeling behind it, and to do it all before your god's eyes felt even worse.
"But, I--" you wanted to argue, but Hephaestus's features hardened, and he shut you up with a sharp glare alone. "You will. It doesn't matter if you think you'd never go behind my back. One day, one of those damned bastards will send someone to lure you away from me. They'll take you from me for their own amusement, and I refuse to give you to them. But with this, I will control these urges of yours. Either his-" he pointed at the golem, "-will be the one to satisfy you or mine. No one else deserves you!"
The crushing force of his fingers keeping you in place made you wince as his anger grew with every sentence. It was understandable, to a degree, but for the first time, you were terrified. Not out of reverence, but because he was hurting you with his touch and the barely-existing pride you still had with his thoughts. You wanted to think of yourself as loyal and devoted, and you also didn't want to think about riding some iron-cold dick before the eyes of your god.
"I will enjoy it too," Hephaestus finally added, softening his grip and releasing you with a now calm rub of his fingertip against your cheek. "I have connected my feelings with the golem's, and he will treat you just like I would."
Rubbing the pain away where Hephaestus touched you, you glanced at the golem suspiciously. Suddenly, his arms sprang forward as he stepped up to you, wrapping you in his firm, cold embrace. You were squeezed in the worst way possible, making you fear for your life as the golem's body just seemed to envelop you wholly. As if strong, silver walls were threatening to destroy your bones and press the life out of you. You had suspicions, but you never had pried into Hephaestus's feelings for you. But if he shared them with the golem, they must have been much stronger than you anticipated.
Hephaestus's voice rang out from outside the iron prison you were kept in, chuckling with joy, "He will love you just like I do. And once you had him between your thighs, you'll never want to leave me again. I'll make sure that you will never want any other man or god to touch you, and I will prove just how good I am to you over and over until you crave me instead of your new friend."
You never intended to leave Hephaestus after accepting this position, even though you longed for your real home away from Olympus more every day.
But now you wanted to run straight into the dark embrace of Tartarus.
Far far away from Hephaestus's reach and the golem's iron grip, his cock twitching against your stomach in anticipation.

Flanon Asks: "Omg okay, biting.
TDV, DOL, your OCs, anything. I want to see biting/marking headcanons or writing!!!
I had a friend (I don’t wanna say Situationship or fwb but we have a vibe ig) who bit me on the arm the other day and hoooooly shit oh my god 😫
Maybe the bitten/biter experiences some sorta euphoria or like, ‘click’ after experiencing it for the first time?
- 🍮"
Ooooh I love biting!! I'll give a selection of who I think would be most into it >:3c
Content: biting, sadism, marking
Tumblr media
To Do Valley:
Abigail bites people both as a stim and because she thinks it's funny to see how they react! She'll bite anyone she likes, especially her friends and partners.
Harvey tends to bite out of a mixture of sadism and curiosity. He loves how startled people are by it since he doesn't seem the type, and he loves to watch the way bite marks develop and heal.
Sebastian and Maru both make the cutest sounds when you bite them~ They'll squeak and whimper and squirm and it's absolutely adorable, especially when they get flustered after!
Sam gets flustered if you bite him and definitely enjoys it, and he'll bite you right back! He's got kinda sharp teeth too, so he always leaves some deep marks that he admires later.
Degrees of Lewdity:
Robin and Sydney blush and make cute sounds when you bite them too! If you rile them up enough, they might bite back, though they'll be apologetic about it afterwards.
Kylar will leave you covered in bite marks to claim you and will demand that you do the same for him. Everyone needs to know that the two of you belong to each other.
Whitney bites you for fun, he likes watching you yelp and squirm! He also thinks it's hot if you get overwhelmed during sex and bite him to let out some of that pent up energy~
Black Wolf is obviously a biter. She's gentle because she knows you can't handle the full strength of her jaws, but she uses it to hold you in place and show her ownership.
Avery will bite you as a warning when you upset her. For her it's not a sexy thing, it's an anger thing, but if it turns you on then she'll definitely mentally file that away to use against you.
Izzy enjoys biting and being bitten, she gets real giggly over it. You can tell she's going to bite you because she starts giggling first. And if you bite her, you'd better be ready to fuck~
Weird Earth:
Zander is a biter, especially in golem mode but just in general. His teeth are sharp and jagged~ He'll also moan if you bite him and ask you to do it again, harder.
Glitch bites out of anger, annoyance, being overwhelmed... really any strong emotion is enough to make him sink his fangs into you. Especially if you ignore his hissing.
Lin bites for fun and curiosity. He gets bored easily, and biting always gets a fun reaction from people. He also loves to see who does and doesn't get turned on by it~
Yana enjoys startling you by biting you suddenly and for no reason. She wants to keep you on your toes. She'll definitely mock you if you get turned on when she bites you.
Gin and Aisling both have very sharp teeth and like to bite for fun. Gin's teeth are slightly jagged and she loves marking you. Aisling enjoys riling you up whenever she can~
Callum loves to bite and be bitten. It's pretty much inevitable if you're getting frisky with him. Expect to be covered in drool and bite marks whenever you start kissing him.

Fairy Prince - Hearts of Leviathans - Ch.16
Character: Sky x male reader, Riven x male reader, Brandon x male reader
Universe: Somewhere in Winx Club/Saga
Warnings: None
A warm summer breeze blew over me and tickled my skin. As soon as I entered the old training field, once used for both mages and specialists, I could see that everything was in such a dilapidated state that attempting to clean anything was a task no one could accomplish alone.
The sword-fighting area was completely overgrown. Some flowers have even dug through the hard soil and bloomed on the ground, which has seen more blood than most battlefields.
Saddest of all is the location for target training, where easy-to-build golems once simulated combat. The place is completely covered, but the roof had long since collapsed, so the weather had made things difficult for the poor golems. They look in bad shape, and their power cores seem empty for a long time. This is truly unfortunate, as these golems were built to grow with each fighter who uses them for training, helping them improve their skills.
My heart aches as I see all this, for this was once one of the few prides my family still has outside of our planet and empire, which is why it hurts me so much to see it in such chaos. With turbulent feelings, I just let myself fall to the ground into the soft, warm grass. As I lie there, I play with the grass and even pick a few of the colorful flowers.
After waiting a few minutes, I start making some flower crowns to pass the time. I even ignore the first steps that get closer and closer to where I lie peacefully in the grass.
I know those arrogant snobs will whine when they see the dilapidated state of the place, with broken pillars, massive stones lying all over the ground, and the literally impossible to fight upon uneven ground.
And as if I was waiting for the cue, not too far away, I could hear the first few people complaining about not being dressed for a trip into the supposed "wilderness."
Their ignorance annoys me to no end. Why were they so problematic about things like this? For my own good, I ignore them and continue to relax on the green floor. A few flower crowns sit on my chest.
I can once again feel disapproving looks on me. For some reason, they start to get to me in ways they've never done before, perhaps because it feels more disrespectful since they're doing it on grounds built by my ancestors. An area that only listens to me.
Out of nowhere, a hand suddenly appears in my field of vision. The skin structure is flawless except for a scar that is almost invisible at this point. But my anger, simmering deep within me, wouldn't let me take his hand. So I jumped back to my feet without help, the flower crowns hanging on my left hand.
I didn't even look back to see how Cory reacted to my simple but effective refusal to take his hand. As in ancient traditions, if a King or his Heir does not accept the helping hand of one of his knights, he is in disgrace or on the way there.
I leisurely walk to the stands, carefully setting down the freshly made flower wreaths before I finally turn around and face the few hundred people intently staring at me.
The few teachers who came with the classes look down on me as much as the students. What in the name of the red darkness is wrong with these people?
I had to close my eyes and concentrate on my breathing to calm myself down because their vile behavior is starting to get on my nerves. I wonder how far their faces will fall when they find out I never did anything wrong. Just the idea puts another smile on my face. It quickly turns into a sinister grin that seems to unnerve the others.
“Then can we get started?”
The teachers look at each other. Except that Saladin steps forward as the others seem unwilling to test me. With a crack of his staff on the ground, which he magically hardened, he says, "We chose Artheon to-"
“No,” I say without hesitation. "I want to fight the three idiots who 'captured' me. We'll see how far they get when I have a weapon, too." My sinister smile only grew, bringing chills to most that I could see their face sweating profusely.
Even Saladin seems unsettled by my authoritative manner of speaking. I don't even know where it came from. Maybe because I don't feel like I belong to any of their factions and therefore view the older teachers as mere human beings and not as authority figures? Or maybe even their complete disregard for my person? Who knows?
Anyway, I turn away from them and stare in the direction of the three idiots.
“You first!” I point directly at the purple-haired guy.
He steps forward, teeth clenched, a fierce anger in his eyes so blazing it makes me want to fight him even more. As he approached, the others backed away, led by their teachers. The girls were taken to the dilapidated stands. Most of them look disgusted at the dirty or broken stones, which makes my anger flare up again.
“Look here!” The bold guy suddenly called out to me. Two green daggers in his hands.
“That’s a joke, right?” I ask quietly, looking him up and down. My eagerness to fight him died when I saw his weapons. His footing is good, but I could already see that the uneven ground would be problematic for him. “Do you need more stable ground?” I ask him directly, my left eyebrow raised questioningly.
He scoffs and is ready to say something, but then he loses his balance as he tries to change his position just a little.
I roll my eyes. The only thing I want is to watch him eat dirt, but I also want no one to be able to say it was unfair when I wipe the floor with his stupid face. So, instead of reaching for the weapon Cory brought, which he is holding out to me, I close my eyes. The people actively watching start chatting quickly, talking about me again, and nothing flattering.
But everyone's eyes immediately widened when I opened mine again. Pure magic flows through my veins and shows itself in the intense brown glow of my eyes. I could feel the entire training ground buried under soil and plants. As I feel everything up and down to ensure I have everything under my control, the whole place suddenly shook under the power of my magic. Fear coursed through everyone who saw the extent of my abilities.
“Stay still!” I shout to my first opponent. He's shaking more than the others, obviously scared out of his mind.
As I expected, he didn't stop but tries to escape the violent quake. I didn't let him out of my sight. Even when he finally freezes, as it becomes clear to him that I'm peeling away the dirt from the cut stone underneath and don't want to attack him.
His eyes widen in shock. Suddenly, tons of dirt literally pour into the air. Magic and dirt swirl around us. Soon, a massive shadow hangs over our heads as the small arena beneath us is clean again. A rectangular flat surface appears: the stones are pure white marble, from my home world, as this stone is almost indestructible.
Usually, this stone is a single slab forming a ground. But here, they have been cut into large individual bricks. There is a staircase with three steps around the edges. It makes it appear like a small fighting pit.
The only dirt left is under my opponent's feet and under my own. Since he's still frozen solid, I take the first step. As soon as I left the dirt, it swung up and crashed into the other flying dirt.
Even after this spectacle, the other didn't move, even though he had seen what he had to do. So that the last bit of dirt can finally leave this field that once produced some of the best fighters in the magic and specialist fields.
It got so annoying that I was almost ready to walk up to the guy and knock him off the little platform he is standing on, only for him to suddenly step off the platform himself as I only have taken one step toward him. As soon as he did that, the dirt makes its way up.
When all the dirt was finally together, I let the lump fly to the side, to a spot on the opposite side of the benches where I have already placed two pieces of columns that once stood proudly and held up the roof of an outbuilding. I use this to keep the dirt separate from the rest of the place, as I don't want any more work to be done in the future.
"He didn't even use a spell," one of the teachers muttered. One I hadn't seen before. A peculiar man with pointy ears and a terrible fashion sense. His eyes were curious, not a hint of contempt on his face.
And here I was, always thinking elves were the arrogant ones. How foolish of me.
His little comment even makes me blush. It was hard training that I had to go through to do that. My magic teacher, a two-star grandmaster in the field of earth magic, an eccentric, strict man, but he taught me well. After I did it, he confessed to being jealous because it had taken him almost a hundred years to learn it, while I did it within four years.
Back then, I still had to think about the magic, the effect, and the spell. These days, I only need to know what I want to do.
The only problem is that the magic used for this is not fairy magic but regular magic, in which I'm far more competent than I could ever dream to be at my inherited fairy magic.
However, the situation is different with fairy magic, as this form of magic is bound within one's self and cannot be strengthened by the surrounding magic. And even among fairies, there are differences. Ordinary fairies can only use their own magic, but guardian fairies can draw on their planet's magic.
While other fairies, such as protectors or healers, have powerful magic in their respective areas, guardian fairies are exceptionally powerful, so much so that they defy logic and push the boundaries of nature itself.
While a healer fairy can defeat disease, guardian fairies can stop global disasters.
“Thanks,” I murmur quietly, rather embarrassed by the compliment.
But the teacher stares absentmindedly into space, seemingly far away in his thoughts.
Taken aback by this, I turn my attention to the purple-haired guy, still shaking slightly.
“Do you need a moment, Purple?” I ask. “If so, Blondie can take your place in the first fight,” I continue to tease him.
The guy stares at me with his violet eyes, glowing at me in silent anger. His teeth gritted, strengthening the feeling of his rage. If he had been any other guy, I might have been softer. But I'm just worried about whether I can stop myself from killing him.
“I knew you are still afraid of me,” he says suddenly. His angrily clenched teeth have turned into a wide grin.
Suddenly, the guy takes out the two small pieces of metal. I didn't even notice that he put them away. Still, I feel the need to make fun of him. But when I open my mouth, out of those two pieces of metal come out the two green blades I saw before. My desire to make fun of him only increased. He has such a big mouth and yet such small weapons.
Suddenly, I could see a similar weapon. An older man, probably a teacher with a face of five hundred years of rain, extends his hand to me. For a second, I look over at Corey. Silently, I wonder if he gave the man the weapon, but he only stares at me blankly. The moment I take it from him, the man is already walking away. I look at it from all sides, but I couldn't figure out how to use it. So I tap on anything that seems strange, but nothing happens.
The teacher quickly returns, turns the metal over, and activates it. A yellow blade comes out that is the size of a long sword. It feels strange in my hand, too light.
“Ready!” the same man suddenly shouts, startling me.
His words take me out of my thoughts. I move the sword in front of me. Just from this small movement, I can tell that the sword is too light for me. But I still get into position. My eyes fixed on my opponent the whole time. Even from a distance, I could see that while his stance is pretty shaky, he still has significant potential to master his weapons. It's a shame he obviously never received any real training outside of the academy. Although, a year can only do so much.
“And go!“

Lore: Titans
What we know about titans is little and sparse pre-DA4. Somethings that we do know about them are:
Also known as "the pillars of the earth"
They created the dwarves, they are potentially "The Stone" that dwarves refer to.
Alternatively the titans themselves are children of "The Stone", but created the dwarves. They consider the dwarves to be their children.
Lyrium comes from titans, it is considered to be their "blood".
The titans emanate a song from lyrium, it is different from the Blight.
Titans use earthquakes to shape the earth, they also previously used "Shapers" to carve valleys into the earth.
Their size is so vast it is impossible to describe it according to Valta. They're large enough to support life within themselves, from plants to dwarves like the Sha-Brytol.
Titans enable the dwarves to have a hive mind connection with it and others.
History
At least one titan has been killed by the Evanuris - specifically Mythal. Though it is suggested that it was multiple titans.
Ancient elves mined the bodies of titans' for lyrium, but out of fear, they eventually sealed them with stone and magic. They cited that "what the Evanuris in their greed could unleash would destroy all in its anger."
Before the Dragon Age, the last time a titan was known to be awake was -1170 Ancient. Before the fall of Arlathan and before the First Blight. Both instances were the same titan.
After -1170 Ancient there is no mention of the titans in Orzammar's memories. Though there are two texts that mention titans, they predate the First Blight.
Orzammar became the capital of the dwarven kingdom after the titan awoke in -1170 Ancient.
Known Titans
We only have the confirmed location (specific or general) of two titans.
Heidrun Thaig - it is the focus of the entire Descent DLC
Orlais - It is a super general and non-specified location but it is mentioned on the handle of Tug's axe that "The Stone lives beneath Orlais." It is also mentioned by the Nexus Golem in da2 in the Abandoned Thaig. Given that the stone is a reference to titans, we know there is one somewhere in Orlais.
Theoretical Titans
These are locations for titans that are mostly theory and locations I've seen others in the fandom talk about.
Temple of Sacred Ashes - I have seen this one floating around and I have some doubts. Mostly since we don't really know how big titans are, we can't rule out that it is the same titan as the one under Heidrun Thaig. Which, considering they can cause earthquakes and are described as impossibly vast, more so than a giant or a high dragon, they're erring on the side of large for sure. Coupled with Valta saying she wanders through the body of the titan for an unknown amount of time and hasn't seen all of it, only adds to just how inexplicably large it is. Along with that, if you keep with the scale of Ferelden being the size of England then from the thaig to the temple is only a 16 day journey (240 miles/386.24 km). Adding on the scaling math I have for the depth of Heidrun - being deeper than Mariana's Trench - the Titan could very well stretch that far.
Primeval Thaig - If this was indicative of a titan location, let alone being tainted, I feel that there would have been a discovery of red lyrium so much sooner. We know how infectious that stuff is, how impossible it is to destroy and how rapidly it grows. Not only is the thaig not deep enough to be directly connected to the titan, but it was completely sealed off to prevent it spreading. That said, I do think there is a possible titan under the Vimmark mountains. So far the only titan we have a definite location on is underneath mountains. Considering they cause seismic activity, I can definitely see one slumbering under there.
Anvil of the Void - This one does seem a bit plausible to me depending on where you put the thaig. This post by @/wyrdsistersofthedas explains the plausibility quite nicely. It is a bit tinfoil-y as is anything about dwarves and titans at this point. Especially when the source is dao and with how much BioWare has set aside in terms of lore. In essence though, Cariden's anvil is connected and supplied by a massive lyrium vein. His anvil and its location is also the only location where the creation of golems has resulted in functional creations. The rest went wrong or were driven mad in some way. The golems Branka is making from the Casteless in DAI if you give her the anvil are still consistently failing.
Sternann Peak, Anderfel - There is a lyrium mine out here near the town of Geltberg. Which also implies that there is a thaig as well. Whether this is run by Orzammar dwarves or the Carta is unclear.
Beneath the elven crossroads - The lyrium mines in Trespasser might be connected to an entirely different titan or the aforementioned titan beneath Orlais. It is unclear where the the spaces you go through the crossroads even are.
Cryptic Comments From Cole and Keiran
Cole
"It's singing. A they that's an it that's asleep, but still making music."
"Their ancient shapers were mountains drawn of all their wills, walking their memories into valleys of the world".
"They made bodies from the earth, and the earth was afraid. It fought back, but they made it forget."
Keiran
"But you can't be taller. Not without the titans."
Titan Tidbits and Theories
Cole implies that templars have established a connection with the titans through their use of lyrium when asked for his opinion on the templars. Solas also echos this by describing how templar abilities work, that they pull in the reality of the world around them to shut out magic.
Though this doesn't quite explain Seeker abilities, the use of they lyrium brand and the touch of a spirit may forge a different kind of connection.
Cole comments on how "They (ancient elves) made bodies from the earth, and the earth was afraid. It fought back, but they made it forget." This suggests that maybe the original elves who are implied to be originally spirits, made bodies out of the titans (earth) and that this is one thing that instigated the war between titans and the evanuris. Though this is a speculative interpretation of what he means.
In the tabletop it is implied that in the past, the thaigs were carved from living rock - potentially the titans.
The dwarves of the elder days filled the thaigs, large open caverns beneath the earth, living in great cities carved from the living rock.
Adding to the above point, we see two instances where the old gods' prisons were under/nearby dwarven thaigs. In the Shimmer Stone Mine in the Western Approach and the Dead Trenches near the Ortan Thaig where Urthemiel amassed his army. If the oldest thaigs were carved from titans, it brings to question if the old gods were buried before or after the dwarven kingdom started building their thaigs given the "newer" thiags are above the old god prisons, and the prisons are above the titans.
If the old gods were buried after the start of the dwarven kingdom, which would be after the fall of the titans, it brings to question if the old gods are connected to Arlathan and the founding of the dwarven kingdom, and if this was one of the relics of the ancient dwarf and elf emipire collaborations mentioned in the tabletop that was forgotten about. Sandwiching them between titans and thaigs for safeguarding.
