Christmas Movie, but it's from the perspective of Jesus Christ, who sneaks back to Earth, and is immediately confused why everyone is celebrating his birthday in December.
He wanders into a Megachurch on accident, thinking it was a mini mall, and hears an evangelist (who lives in a mansion) taking the Lord's name in Vain to guilt donations out of people. Then he gets arrested for rushing the stage and beating that guy with a whip.
A significant chunk of the movie is just his elaborate escape from prison, wherein he starts a riot upon learning how cruelly the prisoners are treated by a blasphemous carceral system.
The movie ends with him using God Magic on the president of the US, and being formally declared the Anti Christ by the Catholic Church

My heart is absolutely shattered. Ahmed Abbasi was a South African national and the head of the Gift of the Givers office in Gaza. He was deliberately targeted and killed earlier today by the genocidal, racist, colonialist Israel occupation force. He served the people of Gaza since 2013 and was appointed head of the Gift of the Givers office in the region. He implemented multiple projects, including the care of orphans, widows, the elderly and the ill. He delivered water through our desalination plants, distributed food parcels, provided hot meals and upgraded damaged homes. The whole of South Africa mourns his death.

MENA people can say the US is bad and both political parties are bad and a white liberal will hop on and say how actually one genocide is better than the other because then if the "lesser of two evils" is in power, it happens in a mythical faraway land of Agrabah but if it's the "worser of two evils" it happens in their own backyard and they can't have that *gasp of horror*
Y'all don't give a fuck about genocide being bad, y'all care when it affects you. Leave MENA folks alone when we say fuck the US and US imperialism in our homes!!!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The USA is THE most ridiculous country in the world. Laws are made by people old enough to go into cardiac arrest after one sip of mcdonalds sprite, capitalism has absolutely destroyed the american economy, there are so little regulations in the food industry you could destroy a swamp's entire ecosystem by spilling one can of american coke into it, and a gun has more rights than a living, person with a uterus. They glorify a document made by slave owners 200 years ago, and those fucking slave owners even made it with the intention for it to be changed every few decades, but americans refused to do so. They scream about the 2nd amendment but don't understand what that amendment is even about at all. Don't think the founding fathers intended for people to be able to walk into schools with a fucking AR 15. There's a poverty crisis, and literally 50% of the country is one medical bill away from irreparable debt. Religious freedom is in the constitution, and yet christianity is forced down everyone's fucking throats. And now, abortions are banned.
People who need an abortion because they will die otherwise, are unable to. People who carry the child of the person who SA'd them, will be forced to carry it to term. Every baby that is gonna be forced to be carried to term, and ultimately be put up for adoption, is going to grow up in a flawed, underfunded system, and face many hardships they should not have to. People will go bankrupt caring for a child they did not want or ask for. Pro lifers say the child has a right to live. What about the right for them to eat? Sleep somewhere safe? Their right for healthcare? If this were truly about the children, they would be changing the foster care system, financially support the parents who were forced to have a baby but aren't able to handle childcare economically, or give even the most basic of human rights: free healthcare.
I despise the USA. I despise every single person that supported this backwards system. I pity every poor soul that did not ask to live in such a hellpit. Americans: your government has failed you too many times. If this doesn't radicalize you, I don't know what will.

I am so angry, I am so livid, I am so fucking devastated. What is going on? What are we doing? Do you people understand that we're witnessing genocide on TV? Does the fact that millions of people will die register?
What a privilege it is, to turn your back on it. Typical of us white people.
"Protecting your mental health", some say. And to that, I graciously respond:
No. Make yourself uncomfortable. Make yourself watch. Make yourself understand how lucky we are to be safe and to have been born in a place that has food and water and healthcare and schools and the luxury of enjoying all these without fearing of what tomorrow has in store. Make yourself grieve all the innocent lives lost. All the lives lost, period. Make yourself bear the struggle of showing unwavering support at the most crucial and brutal of times. Make yourself happy for all that you have and angry for all that these people don't, and all that they had but lost. All the change they're enduring. The change that isn't caused by love; the good change. The change instead molded by vicious hatred and venom and vitriol. Make yourself furious. Make yourself cry in frustration, taste bitter tears of defeat, beat your pillow in helplessness.
Make yourself grateful for having a set of house keys that you can still use.

You know what? Despite hating how Rick Riordan made America "The Heart of the West" (something that bugs me for being so US-Centric), there's one thing we can agree on: LA is the place where the Underworld is. More appropriately, I think all the big cities in America demonstrate what the problem is. US-Centrism. If you don't go to Hollywood or NYC you can't be a star. No! I patently disagree. LA and NYC can burn up for all I care! They're seen as these pinnacles of the US being the land of the free, but it's all lies. Also, I don't hate people in LA or NYC. I don't, but I know I can't live there. It's too busy and big.

It's amazing that people still defend dropping nuclear bombs on Japan as of it didn't lead to countless deaths, needless suffering, and a pissing match between two world powers that caused even more pain. So many people have come out to say that the bombing was unnecessary but people just want to live in the fantasy that World War II was some glorious triumph where the US saved the world from evil. I'm not saying the Empire of Japan was some innocent victim but I can say that the civilians affected by nuclear weapons were.

The Palestine Laboratory: How Israel Exports the Technology of Occupation Around the World
This book. Go read it. It will open your eyes about how deadly Israel really is to the rest of the world (especially the global south).
Colonialism, war, destruction, fascism. Israel is all that. We all suffer the consequences of this.

The fact that, as far as I've been able to tell, there's no reliable way to prevent the military from contacting you for recruitment should be criminal. I signed a form forbiding my high school from giving my info to recruiters. Both of my colleges released that info without asking me if I was ok with it. One recruiter got increasingly angrier and more threatening, even as far as trying to confront me in person, when I told him I didn't believe in most of the US government's causes and wouldn't be joining, ever. When religious people like Mormons violate our privacy to evangelize we call them cultists and slam the door in their faces. When the military harasses us to try to get us to die for a country that won't even cough up money to keep its citizens from dying on the streets we're expected to be polite and put up with it. Otherwise, we're blamed for having to deal with disproportionate anger from people who are very clear on their desire to kill anyone who opposes the way the US is run.
