LMAO I am currently in ACOTAR hell. As in, I read all the books and so on (halfway done with the last). I am weirdly invested, drawing fanart and ranting about it. I dragged like 2 more people down with me because I won't suffer this alone, like it's book covid or something.
I can't say it is good. I can't recommend it. And yes, the first (and 5th) are the only ones where I had some positive enjoyment.
The first....I mean you're right - the start is so slow and unless you super vibe with the Tamlin-Lucien-Feyre dynamic there is not much there at all. The last third was fun tho for sure. Iono, it was like a 3/5 for me. Nothing special, nothing terrible. It was....fine.
BUT OH BOI THE REST. Everyone claims the second book is the best of the series and since I didn't outright hate the first, I picked it up with cautious excitement. THE BETRAYAL. I was so mad. I never hate-read anything so HARD. I was pissed at the shit this book pulled lol. I felt like the author was gaslighting me. Or tried to - and it only made me angrier. But I couldn't stop either. And it went on with the third. I just felt so weird, like I was reading different books than anyone else? Yet I had to go on because it kind of felt like some weird office drama that was clearly not meant for me but I am invested now.
So yeah, uhm, I'm stuck in the corner with all the hated characters having a weird party idk. Help!!
I don't mind a slow start! I even love a slow start, but I feel that 200 pages of that book should not exist. The world-building didn't justify a book that long. I really feel like the love interest could've been compelling but he was so overshadowed by literally every other character, which was bad because most of those characters were just not my cup of tea.
I liked Lucien! I think he and Feyre had weird, red-hot tension and my friend made the joke that it was like "someone had told Maas that Lucien and Feyre got on too well, so she went 'fuck, fuck' and started writing him out."
I also thought Rhysand was incredibly creepy, and it was so obvious what they were setting him up for. I had a deep, fundamental problem with his seemingly 'morally grey' characterization when I think 'morally deficient' would've been more believable to commit to. Personally, I think the justifications he offered for certain actions were shoddy, which is disappointing because I don't think he's supposed to be a villain. But he'd make such an interesting one! I love villains and I think if the book had just committed and made him villainous then I could've really been down for some apologism. I'm almost angrier that they won't admit that he'd fucked up and instead went "well, it's justifiable and it was even KIND of him."
All that being said, I really appreciate your perspective. I think the end of the book was so much fun too, and I feel so sad that I just spent half the book wondering how the hell it was going down. I'll hit you back up once I've read the second.

Tumblr media
Fanart credit: @/t1k2h2r1 on Twitter
For Bakugou’s Birthday Bash Collab hosted by: @phasmwrites, @katsukikitten, @bakugotrashpanda, @lady-bakuhoe, @jodrawssmut, @ramen-rambles. Ones that contain smut are marked properly, and those are 18+ only.
Here’s the masterlist that has everyone else’s pieces!!
A/N: @katsukis-sad-angel, all of these are dedicated to you. i was driven to write these for you, partly because i know Bakugou’s your favorite and also because i wanted to show my appreciation for all your kind words and support ever since i started posting my stuff on here, so i figured a fic or two was in order to express my thanks but my ideas sort of got away from me. Bakugou’s really hard for me to write so he might be not the best written but! i hope you enjoy nonetheless 🥰!!
These were all written in the past month and edited rather quick to make the deadline for this, so I apologize for any spelling errors you may find.
[In the process of editing and proofreading as of May 17th; completed on May 31st].
complete word count in this collection: 127k
Tumblr media
Vulnerability and Second Chances (Barbarian King!Bakugou x Omega!Reader) feat. Dragon!Kirishima
You are Bakugou’s birthday gift from the League of Outcasts given in spite to the Barbarian King. Instead of kicking you out when he finds out you’ve been lured here on purpose, he takes you in. He’s not supposed to fall in love with you. Love is weak. The war with the League is a long time coming, but when it finally comes time to put Shigaraki in the ground, will Bakugou’s strength be enough? Or will the king cobra’s forces overwhelm his own? (46.9k)
[18+] Red-Hot Jealousy (Bakugou x Reader) feat. Shinsou *SMUT*
Childhood friends separated in primary school, you and Bakugou are reunited at UA. But by then, he has a girlfriend and Shinsou is your best friend. Except... you’ve been misinformed. While Shinsou keeps trying to tell you that King Explosion Murder isn’t actually dating Pinky like you think, Bakugou has to get over his jealousy if he ever hopes to win you over and tell you how he really feels. (15.2k)
Wherever You Go, I Will Follow (Boxer!Metal Arm!Bakugou x Reader) Underground!AU
Bakugou doesn’t like to talk about what happened to his left arm. Years of fighting underground had made him harder than nails. Society was messed up. Children weren’t born, they were made and any who aren’t adopted are raised in mass orphanages. But you’re special. And you’ve chosen the light even though you’ve seen the darkness. Who else to get through to his heart other than someone like you? (7.8k)
A Soft Confession Draped in Ivory and Silk (Pro-Hero!Bakugou x Pro-Hero!Reader)
It’s been a few years since you’ve graduated UA. This was supposed to be a trouble-free reunion, except your reservations got screwed up and now you have to room with someone else while you're staying for the entirety of the trip. The weird thing is, everyone seems to have some kind of excuse as to why they can't let you sleepover in their room for the night. So, you decide on Bakugou's, the only person who can't say no because he hasn't arrived yet. But your actions have consequences and now you need to deal with all the feelings that you've been frantically suppressing as they resurface. (19.2k)
[18+] Guns and Roses (Mafia Boss!Bakugou x Escort!Dancer!Reader) *SMUT*
You’re just trying to make a living and get by. When Todoroki hooks you up with a job at Aizawa’s establishment to dance, you don’t hesitate to take it. But when a mysterious group of four men ask for your company one fine night, you can’t find it in yourself to say no to a particular ash-blond’s advances. (5.3k)
Ruined Plans (Boyfriend!Soft!Bakugou x Reader)
You get sick on the day of Bakugou’s birthday and he’s forced to take care of you. He has a hard time convincing you that it’s not a chore like you are led to believe but this circumstance opens up the window of opportunity for him to approach you with an issue he’s had a long time with your place. And it’s time to settle it once and for all. (2.2k)
Vintage Books and Midnight Promises (Tattooed!Bakugou x Bookworm!Reader) Modern!AU
Your days are brightened by the appearance of Eijirou and Izuku but you don’t recognize the tattooed man who accompanied the two children into your bookshop one day. But he finds his way into your heart and before you can stop it, you’re already in too deep for the man with tattoos that rippled like the purest form of water and smelled like blueberries hand-picked on the warmest day. (9.8k)
[18+] You Can’t Help Who You Love (Sub!Bakugou x Switch!Reader x Dom!Kirishima) *SMUT*
Bakugou’s birthday gift from you is a threesome with his best friend Kirishima when he lets it slip that he likes to be fucked in the ass. But something comes up and present a bigger problem than the one he’s currently got going on down there and with reassuring words and soothing touches, you pull the pieces together to understand what’s really going on. (5.9k)
Pure Affections Wrapped Up in a Dark Green Bow (Husband!Pro-Hero!Bakugou x Wife!Reader)
You had been married to Bakugou for a couple years now and you had a special present for him. But when he gets home, it’s clear that he hasn’t had the best day. You’re there, steady and strong for him to lean on for support and he does until he’s capable of standing on his own again. This is what love looks like. (6k)
[18+] Four is Better Than Two (TodoBakuDeku x Reader) *SMUT*
Due to your quirk, Bakugou’s stuck in the wall. Midoriya and Todoroki decide to fuck him to free him. (4.9k)
[18+] Birthday Cuckholding (Todoroki x Reader x Bakugou) *SMUT*
Bakugou expresses his interest in cuckholding one day when he’s drunk. It’s your job to make his fantasy come true when Todoroki agrees to fuck you in front of your boyfriend. (1.3k)
She’s Mine (Protective!Bakugou x Punk!Tattooed!Reader) feat. Erasermic
This is not the first time you’re seeing Bakugou’s family but it is the first time you’re meeting his grandmother, who is not the best company to be around. He comes to your defense after you stand up for yourself and he had no qualms about sticking his face in the old hag’s because he’d be damned if he lets anyone talk to you like that. You’re his. (3.2k)

Some Inugang friendship head-canons:
In one human night, InuYasha and Sango competed to see who was strongest. Sango won.
Miroku sometimes helps Kagome study. She keeps the history books away, of course, but he is particularly helpful with literature when she has to read the classics.
She gave up on trying to study math with him, because he was starting to learn much faster than she did, and it made her even more frustrated.
Miroku is particularly interested in her biology books.
Shippou, Miroku and Sango try passing through the well once when InuYasha and Kagome are away. It doesn't work :(
InuYasha notices there is something weird with Sango when she first gets pregnant, but he has no idea what could be, and she doesn't even know she is pregnant yet. It leads to endless discussions of him insisting there is something off and her insisting nothing is different.
After InuYasha, Sango is the one who misses Kagome the most during the 3 years separation. She sometimes went to the well during her pregnancy, just hoping she could update Kagome on what was happening.
Kin-Gyo's first word is "slay", because InuYasha keeps trying to distract them by telling them to "go slay the fox". Miroku was hoping for "dad" and was not pleased.

I just love Amos on the last episode talking to Holden
"Hey, remember that time you said you were going to kill me?"
"I guess?"
"And we are cool, right?"
"Of course"
"Great, the girl who committed mass murder and tried to frame you is tagging along, but it's all water under the bridge now, I'm glad to see you are so understanding :D"
"wtf"

I'm not really a big kohrin shipper but picture this:
Kohaku being super shy and sending Rin mixed messages because of it. They finally get together because little Hisui, being completely oblivious but also big mouthed child, walked up to Rin one afternoon while she's watching the kids and said "my uncle likes you".

One thing I noticed on my Inuyasha manga re-read/mirsan data project is how long it takes for Sango to smile again.
When we are first introduced to her on chapter 85/86, she smiles very openly. She smiles when greeting clients, she smiles when she is back to the village, she smiles petting Kirara...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
... and then Naraku happens.
And she doesn't smile again for dozens of chapters.
Not that she doesn't show emotion. While with the gang she gets curious, surprised, annoyed, angry, determined, uneasy, relaxed... But never a smile.
Not until chapter 182.
Tumblr media
This is right after Inuyasha stops Sango from killing Kohaku and herself. Miroku just told her a few pages back she shouldn't be so sad when she apologizes for him getting poisoned because of her. Here is when she walks into Kagome and Inuyasha to thank them for standing by her.
So she only learns to smile again when she goes from thinking herself as a burden to the group because of Kohaku to being thankful for everyone sticking together. (Of course it's a process and she goes back and forth a lot into feeling like a burden, but still, this is the first step)
She is shown smiling in the chapter opening images sometimes before this, but not in the actual story. It takes her 96 chapters to smile again after losing her family, and it's because she found a new one.

I Can't Believe It's Over
Summary: Steven watches his favorite series come to an end and talks to Connie about it.
Notes: Look it's fluff. That's it it's just some comfort that's still very much needed even if it has been over a week now. Also it's around 1800 words.
Steven was fixated on the screen before him, dark circles under his eyes from the lack of sleep. The first rays of sunlight shined through the window as one of multiple alarms rang.
'It's almost here! It's almost here!' he thought as he turned off almost all of the 10 alarms. It was the final episode of his favorite series, Crying Breakfast Friends!
Well, technically CBF! ended a few years ago and this was its epilogue series, but still, it was practically the sixth season of the show.
He usually woke up at this time, but he's been up all night, theorizing how Spilled Milk could solve all of their problems, especially with Glum Glass (who he shipped them with.)
He was just so excited that he stayed up all night. He kept floating anyway, so it's not like he could sleep on the ceiling. He was up all night, sharing his theories and headcanons while looking through some of the fanart that have come from the episode that was released last week.
He still couldn't believe it was the last episode, it's been running for years. He can still remember the first episode like it was yesterday.
One last alarm rang as he opened a streaming app that made him watch with fellow fans, whatever happens next he's sure it would be good.
An hour and many, many tears later, Connie was calling him for their bi-weekly breakfast together. However Steven was still in bed, a river of tears streaming down his face as the credits rolled.
He was literally crying over Spilled Milk, but that really isn't important right now.
He wiped his tears on the sleeves of his pajamas and went downstairs to wash his face. His eyes were still a bit puffy, but maybe Connie wouldn't notice.
Steven went back toward the bed, sinking a bit. He took a few deep breaths, and finally answered her call.
"Good morning, Steven!" Connie greeted. She was in a diner, judging by the tables and chairs behind her. It was close to full and people were having different conversations, but it wasn't too loud that he couldn't hear her.
"Morning, Connie," he yawned right after greeting her, hoping to mask his sadness with tiredness.
It didn't work. Connie has started to be concerned, "Steven? Are you alright?"
 "Yeah I'm fi—"
The universe has a cruel sense of irony, it seems. As he was only midsentence as he saw the glass of milk and the plate filled with fried eggs and crispy bacon and started to sob again.
 "I-I can't believe it's over!"
He shuts his mouth, was that too loud? He covers his face with the pillows until he hears Connie talking. She's awkwardly explaining to the people around her; he wipes some of the tears with his sleeve while he apologizes for shouting.
Connie goes back to her seat, visibly relieved. Whether it's because she doesn't have to talk to another stranger or because she knows what's happening with him, it's unknown to him. Maybe it's a little bit of both.
She turns to Steven and asks one question with a knowing look in her eye, "Your favorite series just ended, didn't it?"
"Wait... how- how did you know?"
"I know how that feels," she ate some of her bacon and continued, "I've read so many novels, The Spirit Morph Saga was just one of many books I've obsessed for years!"
Steven listened to her every word as she gushes about some of her favorite books. It's been years since he heard of it, he still remembered Connie introducing him to the saga. He still loves the ending to this day, though he doesn't know if she still feels the same about the ending years later.
"Oh, sorry I got into a tangent there."
"It's okay, I love hearing you being so passionate."
There was a slight blush on her cheeks; she proceeded to drink the milk to hide it. "So..Anyways, what was the name of the series that just left you in tears today?"
Now it was his turn to be embarrassed, how exactly is he going to explain that he's been watching a cartoon for the past six years? He doesn't know what kind of shows she's watched!
But she wouldn't judge him for that, so might as well just say it, "It's Crying Breakfast Friends."
"I thought that show ended years ago?"
"Well, yes, but technically no, so the original show, Crying Breakfast Friends did end a few years ago, but its epilogue series, Bawling Brunch Friends ended today."
"So... were you satisfied with the ending?"
She was answered with more tears, "It was so bittersweet!"
Okay, now she needed to be there with him. "I'm going to finish up here, okay? I'll be there in a minute!"
Connie ended the call, finished her breakfast, tipped the waitress, and ran outside to Lion all under one minute.
A portal opened up in the beach house's living room with Connie and Lion going out from it.
"Thanks, Lion," she said while giving his mane a few pats. He gave a cute little smile and proceeded to sleep near the sofa.
Of course she had to give him some pets, besides it was only a few seconds till a full minute passes and she ran up the stairs.
She knows the feeling, sure she wasn't as sentimental when some of her favorite series ended, but she knows how empty it feels at first.
She wonders how Steven's handling it.
 ...
Just the sight of his bed tells it all.
It's a bit messy and tear-stained, the impression of Steven has been there for a while making the teen that was on the bed sink even further into it. Near the pillows were some toys and old plushies of the characters in the show, Steven himself holding two of them in his arms while under his comforter.
He was clutching the plushies of a carton of milk and a glass, keeping them close together. He hasn't noticed that she's here, but to be fair she hasn't spoken a word since she came up.
"Hi, Steven." He freezed up for a second, but he was still silent. "Mind if I join you in there?"
She saw his head nodding and making some space for her; she joined him under the covers.
He was looking at some fanart of all the characters together, waving goodbye at the audience as the words, "Thank you Samantha Pepper!" appear above them.
"So.. I remembered seeing a few episodes." Connie shifted closer to Steven, "It looked like a fun, silly cartoon from some of the episodes I've seen."
He chuckled at that, a bit too much judging by Connie's confused reaction.
"It was a fun, silly show at first. I rewatched the whole series preparing for this, and wow, there was a lot of stuff that went over my head."
"Just how serious this show is after the first season, all of the foreshadowing, each character's arc and how much they've changed compared to now!"
"I want to tell you everything, but at the same time I don't want to spoil stuff." Steven's started to float while he was talking and he hasn't noticed yet. "There's just so much that's better appreciated when it hasn't been spoiled and I haven't even talked about—"
 "Steven, the ceiling!"
He looks up and floats in place, just inches away from hitting his head. "Thanks Connie." Steven starts to float down.
 "No problem."
"Why didn't you stop me when I was starting to float?"
Now it's her turn to fluster him, she gave a shy smile and said, "Sorry Steven, I was distracted with how cute you are when you're passionate."
He was so flustered that his powers failed him at that moment and he fell on the bed, bouncing both him and Connie a few times.
They were both giggling as they laid together on the bed. Steven teasing Connie about using the line he used earlier... until they notice the mess that was made and cleaned it up.
"This show means a lot to you, huh?" she says as she collects the toys that fell onto the floor.
"Yeah... I miss it," Steven helps in collecting the plushies. He grabs the Spilled Milk and Glum Glass plushies and keeps them together.
They both help each other in fixing the comforter on the bed and laid back on it.
Connie can hear him sniffling right next ro her. Guess he's skipped the other stages of grief and went headfirst to depression.
"Why did it only sink in now? I'll never see these characters again!"
Okay, that's it. She needs to tell him this. She turns Steven around, looking him in the eyes.
"You can always rewatch the show, right?" A nod.
"You can always make your own fanart, right?" Another nod.
"And there's also other people's fan creations. Sure, the show's over, but people would still create more stories and art with these characters." Tears have stopped.
"You can love and appreciate all of the content creators in that fandom and their creations, right?" A small smile. She's getting to him.
"And even if it's over, you know that the show would always be with you, right?"
"Connie, I thought you didn't like being saccharine?"
"Steeeven," she was teasing him, and she knows he is too, "I'm trying to comfort you."
"I know, just wanted to hear you say it, because you like me." They were giggling again, but when they were finished he was staring at her with a smile, "Thanks Connie."
"You know I'll always help you, Steven," she smiled back at him.
"Yeah, even with your college prep, you still—"
"Wait, don't you have more stuff to do?" Steven asked, looking a bit worried.
"Today's Saturday, Steven." Connie reminded him.
"Oh... yeah," he rubbed his eyes, "thought it was still Friday."
"You stayed up all night, didn't you?"
"Can't blame me for being excited, besides I'm not that tired."
A yawn escapes him at the end and he settles at the bed.
"Ok maybe I'm a little bit tired. Talk to you later?"
"You know the usual time," she gives him a kiss on the forehead, "see you later, Steven."
 "I'll see you soon, Connie."
And she goes down to Lion, who just woke up.
As Steven hears the roar of Lion's portal go out, he opens his phone and looks back on the picture of everyone in the show again.
Connie's right, it's a part of him now. Every memory, every laugh, and especially every tear that's shed—of sorrow and of joy.
"Thanks for giving me tears to the very end."

I wish you all a happy Christmas!
Yes, I apologize for the abrupt break, I had some work to do, but now I'm here again and now with three drawings, which have turned out well, some may not. It's a little spoiled coloring my drawings, sorry about that. And now about my drawings. The first drawing is otherwise a kiss between Donald and Daisy under the mistletoe held by the naughty Donald’s nephews, and opposite them are Daisy's nieces April, May and June. Yes, I used a version of Donald and Daisy from the Ducktales reboot, where a Daisy should appear soon to comfort Donald, and that's why I'm waiting for their romance, and I also love that version. as for Huey, Dewey and Louie, I love their classic version, regardless of many who don't like it, so I drew my favorite version of my favorite one and apologize for not using the reboot version, I'm just not a fan of that version, I prefer the way everyone we know. And I used April, May and June from the Legend of the Three Caballeros series simply because I love their version. Certainly, they are all happy that their uncle and aunt kissed for Christmas and maybe they will all live in the same house together. Otherwise, I have to thank for the idea to @mai-fanblog, since he gave me inspiration for my first drawing. His fanart was related to the kiss of Donald and Daisy Duck. At the same time, this is part of the gift, to @aleksandertrondheim , since he loves a very loving couple Donald and Daisy just like me. After all, for me, DonaldxDaisy is my favorite couple in the Duckverse and my favorite couples in cartoons and comics.
The second drawing is how Fethry Duck hugs Louie Duck (Quack Pack version) and Fethry's nephew Dugan Duck is very unhappy with that. Yes, I'm sorry I didn't see Fethry in Quack Pack, since his comic book features (especially Italian ones) would suit him a lot in this series, and Louie Duck in Quack Pack has similar features to Fethry, since Louie is very naive and quite active, but Louie is not as dumb or stupid as some might think. Well, for those reasons, I drew their family hug, simply because they are one of my favorite characters in the Disney Duckverse. And yes, I love the Quack Pack, even though I know there were bugs out there, but it's not as awful as some might think, because the series really has the potential and would tell the haters to shut their mouths. I apologize for that, but I have to defend myself somehow.
The third drawing is how Louie and Dugan reconcile and how Louie gives her skateboard to Dugan for Christmas. Unfortunately, there are no Quack Pack specials for Christmas and no fanart related to it except for a couple of pictures, which makes me very sad, so I decided to draw a drawing to my liking so I drew this one. I would love to see what their relationships (I mean friendly and cousin relationships) between Louie and Dugan would look like, given that they have some similar traits, except that Dugan is more naughty and more active than his cousin Louie. Yes, Dugan is a little older, about 8 or 10 years old, given that Louie was about 14 or 15 years old (in the comics Dugan is 4 or 5 years old, while Louie with his brothers is 8 or 9 or 10 years old), but that by my headcanon. Yes, apart from the tree, two images can be seen, one image is related to the manger, that is, to the birth of Christ (Birth of Jesus Christ, though he was not born on December 25, and that date was actually a pagan sun worship), and the other image is Scrooge McDuck from Carl Barks comics and where he carries his money hating Christmas. After all, it’s one of the paintings painted by Carl Barks (Season To Be Jolly). I couldn't paint it because it would be ugly already and I apologize for that. Here, for the Christmas holidays, three drawings are drawn. I wish you all a happy holiday and enjoy them. Merry Christmas!

Lestat, Louis is a sad sack of a man and doesn’t really seem to be worth loving. Ok so he’s “beautiful” that’s not enough to make a relationship last. Why is Louis worth loving?
//ooc: This is another fairly old ask, from November, 2017. I think anon was trying to rile Lestat by calling Louis “a sad sack of a man and doesn’t really seem to be worth loving.” Limiting him to just being “beautiful.” And while it is fun to rile Lestat and see how he reacts, idk… I was kind of taken aback by this and I had too many thoughts about it to have Lestat respond flippantly, which he would have. I think Lestat either gets defensive about loving Louis, or just dismisses these kinds of comments, one less person for him to compete with for Louis’ attention, lol.
TL;DR: I think when ppl ask that, part of where they may be coming from is that THEY feel like a “sad sack” who’s maybe not worth being loved, especially by the main character in a series, a flashy glittery murder machine. They worry that even if they’re loved for being “beautiful” that that really isn’t enough for a relationship, and that’s absolutely true, if we’re defining beauty as superficial characteristics. The beauty of Louis, to me, is in his character, and the emotions of the scene.
I’ve written a lot about what draws me, as a reader, to love Louis, probably the best stuff is in my #we appreciate and love louis in this house tag. But I’ll try not to go overboard and answer you here, anyway!
Tumblr media
I think the deal with describing Louis as *~SO beautiful~* is partly that, hey, it’s fun to do, like having a favorite flower, and AR takes the opportunity to remind us of it, and put the camera on him in a scene, so we know he’s present. It also serves a purpose, we usually get at least a scrap of context about him and/or the scene:
“I glared at him, at the sharp graceful angles of his imperturbable face, […] his wide-set eyes, with their fine rich black lashes. How perfect the tender indentation of his upper lip.” -Lestat, The Tale of the Body Thief
^Let’s take this line and unpack it a little:
Lestat glares at Louis. –> Lestat is clearly pissed.
Louis’ imperturbable face –> Louis is not scared of Lestat being pissed.
And then Lestat lavishes this extra description on him, appreciatively. Attention on the lip area, now we’re picturing him pointedly staring there, which might precede a kiss, so we can infer that Lestat desperately wants to kiss him, probably. What I get from all that is the exquisite tension of Lestat wanting someone he can’t have, someone he treasures and wants even MORE bc of the difficulty.
It’s the tension of Lestat and other characters pining for Louis that AR wrings every drop out for us, she’s showing us how helpless these other characters are that they can only try to capture Louis with descriptions since he defies being owned by anyone. Unrequited love is a powerful thing.
Bringing these back, in case anyone else missed them and want to indulge in some Louis praise/discussion:
The first anon in this series: Honestly I can’t believe how gay everyone was for Louis ask and my response
“Louis rant” anon here.
A recent Louis canon hair fanart and commentary
Reply to an anon re: “fanon has cast Louis as a beautiful, frail flower destined and carried by Lestat’s will”
Anon grateful for “that whole “gay for Louis” ask reminded me of how much I love Louis” and my invitation to anyone to send rants about loving Louis (or any VC character!)
Also somewhat relevant: thoughts on Louis having a living lineage.
So, re: Anon might be identifying with Louis:
We can find ourselves slipping into the characters we love and identify with. Some ppl find Lestat relatable in his lust for life, self-centeredness, refusal to quit, constantly screwing up and berating himself in the narrative (but rarely being able to outright apologize to those he hurts)… a flawed character for sure but an inspiring one.
I think some ppl who relate to Louis and feel less flashy, less glamorous, there’s smtg very appealing about how such a character could be so idolized by the more flashy and glamorous one. What could such a *rockstar* like Lestat find attractive in Louis?? You said yourself Louis is a sad sack. And yes, beauty is not enough to keep a relationship going. But, as I mentioned above, Louis’ beauty is often described in a context that charges it with the emotions of the scene. At least to my reading, there’s more conveyed than just eye color.
Still, why wouldn’t Lestat demand someone who was more like himself?
But here’s the thing I think a lot of ppl miss when they’ve only seen movie!IWTV, or only read a few of the books.

^Louis & Lestat by @garama
I personally believe that Lestat sees in Louis a similarly wounded soul with a lust for life. At their core, neither really want to die. Louis kept getting into fights with ppl bc he couldn’t kill himself as a mortal. Lestat has stubbornly refused to die his entire life and has had plenty of reason to want death. They’ve both almost killed themselves and been brought back. There’s a similar torment in them dealing with their natures.
As an anon put it so eloquently: “I think ppl forget that Louis is just as passionate and vengeful as Lestat, it’s just that he isn’t as vocal or showy about it. He’s more intimate and intense.”
The way they communicate/express themselves, and the way they practice self-care is vastly different. Lestat builds up his beautiful shell with retail therapy, redecorating and refurbishing his dwellings, and attending all kinds of shows and making elaborate plans with his kills, just spoiling himself silly. Always down for indulging his senses. He’s chasing new experiences, learning the new slang, trying to keep himself in the latest fashions. Novelty.
Louis prefers his nights at home, low-drama, in his own creature comforts, with his books and poetry to escape into. We don’t know much of what he’s read but he seems to want to spend eternity reading. What is reading? Even if it’s nonfiction, it’s learning, being told a story, being more informed. It’s novelty, too. Escapism through the imagination.
And their personalities seem to complement each other. Lestat’s lust for adventure spices up Louis’ otherwise too-calm existence. Louis’ calm and dignified manner brings Lestat back down to earth when he gets too untethered. Their bickering is bc they care for each other, can see beneath each other’s disguises. Louis sees the frightened boy inside the frustration that makes Lestat lash out and attack first. Lestat sees the potential in Louis of someone who, if he could get over his inhibitions, could experience so much more in his life.
When AR was kind of RPing as Lestat in her #Fan Questions for Lestat series, she was asked smtg similar:
“…but if I did have to choose, the companion would be Louis. My longest most enduring friendship and love affair in this world was with Louis. And though his limitations can be maddening, they can also be as inspiring to me as his virtues… the best choices we make are not always the wise choices. Sometimes they are intensely emotional choices. And I’ve always had a deep Romantic respect for emotion. My love for Louis transcends wisdom. And I may need the pain as much as the consolation that an eternal relationship with Louis would involve.“
^This is one of those moments I talk about where I feel like she recaptures the old magic, taps into the vein (pun intended) that got us all addicted to this series in the first place. Why I can’t just discard the crackier later books. She’s not all that specific here, but it’s believable. At least, to me. Lestat admits that Louis’ limitations (and this can be so many things, things Lestat disagrees with him about as well as things Louis refuses to do) can be maddening, and inspiring.
And he admits that his love for Louis transcends wisdom. That may be a cop-out answer, but I’ve felt that kind of love in my life. Inexplicably bound to someone, despite the math of the personalities not seeming to mesh.
Love works in mysterious ways. Even for beautiful sad sacks and the arrogant bastards who love them

Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia
My Rating: ★★★★☆
Eliza is an 18-year-old high schooler whose greatest passion in life is the extremely successful webcomic she has created called Monstrous Sea. In the online world, under the username LadyConstellation, everyone loves her and she is never afraid to talk to anyone. In the real world, she is an introverted hermit and the class weirdo. She has no friends outside of her computer and she spends all of her time avoiding her parents' attempts to involve her in sports and drawing in her sketchbooks that she keeps away from prying eyes. Until she meets Wallace, the most famous and successful Monstrous Sea fanfiction writer, who reaches out to her when he finds out she draws Monstrous Sea fanart. Now, Eliza has to step out of her very small comfort zone to form a friendship with this boy she is starting to like, while also keeping her famous secret identity hidden from him.
My Criticisms: It took me a while to get into this book, and at first my emotions towards it were very meh. Later on, this stopped being a problem for me, however, as I eventually became very invested in the story. I wasn’t completely satisfied with the ending, either, as I felt that it was a little bit rushed. Also, at times I felt that Eliza could be a bit unnecessarily bratty with her parents. But probably my biggest disappointment was that near the end Wallace’s character (the love interest) was completely ruined for me and the author did little to bring him back into my good graces (I’ll elaborate more on that in my spoiler section).
My Praises: Overall I felt this book was adorable. Wallace and Eliza’s relationship was super cute and it was so beautiful to see them both step out of their comfort zones in order to be friends. I loved the fact that the author decided to put bits and pieces of Monstrous Sea because the comic in and of itself was almost like a character in the story and it was really nice to be able to see what Eliza basically dedicated her life to. Something I really liked and that I heard a lot about before I picked up the book is how accurately the author portrayed anxiety. There is a particular scene where the main character has a panic attack and it was so well-written that I personally felt like I was freaking out. I actually cried like a baby near the end of the book because of how well she depicted depression and anxiety.
Keep reading for a more spoilery review ^_~
This book stressed me the fuck out. At first, I really didn’t care much about Eliza, especially since, at times, she was a super annoying brat when it came to her parents (and she sort of stayed like that for the rest of the book, unfortunately :/ ) but slowly I started warming up to her, and once Wallace was in the picture I was completely hooked. I absolutely adored their relationship. Wallace was super adorable and I loved how much he seemed to care about Eliza and how sweet and loving he was. The ending absolutely killed me though. When Eliza’s parents published in the school newspaper that she was the creator of Monstrous Sea, Eliza’s reaction was heartbreaking, especially when she practically begs Wallace to not read the article. Later, when she was having the panic attack, I literally felt sick, it stressed me out so much that I was lying on the couch reading it in the fetal position with tears streaming out of my face. No lie. As a person who suffers from anxiety, this book really got to me in that aspect. Although that ending brought with it some very well-written portrayals of extreme anxiety and depression, it also ruined Wallace’s character for me. I thought he was a complete sweetheart who genuinely loved and cared for Eliza, but his reaction to finding out that she was LadyConstellation was so fucking shitty that I basically lost all respect for him. I knew he was probably going to be upset because she lied to him for like 7 months, but bitch, come the fuck on. He didn’t even try to help her through the horrible situation she was going through considering that he had to be perfectly aware of the amount of unwanted attention she was getting, both positive and negative. He knows that she doesn’t like being the center of attention, and when her identity gets revealed and suddenly millions of people know who she is, he didn’t even have the basic decency to help her out and hold her hand through it. No, instead he abandons her and then gets mad at her because she isn’t able to finish the comic, and therefore he wasn’t able to publish his stories. Like what a fucking selfish asshole. Also, later when she tries to commit suicide and he sees her and hugs her and apologizes for being an asshole, she felt that she had to apologize to him because she was about to commit suicide in the same place his dad did. He once again made her struggles all about him. Like, honestly by the end of the book, I really just wanted her to dump him. I don’t like him being portrayed as a good boyfriend because no girl should think that their boyfriend’s appropriate reaction to them going into a deep depression should be to make them feel even worse about it.
Butttttt..... despite all that, I genuinely do like this book and I love its portrayal of depression and anxiety. The main reason I gave this book four stars instead of three is because it had been a while since I had read a book that has made me feel so emotional. I would understand though, why some people wouldn’t like it.
Favorite Scenes:
I love all the scenes where Wallace and Eliza were cuddling because in my mind he was like a huge teddy bear and I thought all those scenes were adorable.
I also loved the scenes where Church and Sully tried to make Eliza feel better when she was barely able to leave her bed. Probably one of my favorite scenes was when Sully decided that he was going to tell their parents exactly how bad they fucked up. I love sibling relationships, and near the end, this book did not disappoint in that aspect.
I thought the scenes where Eliza was having a panic attack and later when she was deeply depressed were extremely well-written, and despite them being extremely sad and heartbreaking, I still really enjoyed reading them (with 50 boxes of tissues at hand).
Favorite Characters (in no particular order): DAVY!!! and Church and Sully (Wallace would have been on this list but his character was ruined for me, unfortunately)
Character Reviews:
Eliza: At times she felt extremely bratty, but I did love how I could relate to her in terms of her anxiety. I also like that she’s such an introvert and that she would rather be in a fictional world than the real one because I hardcore relate to that.
Wallace: Up until the ending, I absolutely adored him. I thought he was adorable like a huge teddy bear. My opinion of him was destroyed by his reaction to finding out Eliza was LadyConstellation, however, and even though by the very end he became a little better, I still couldn’t forgive him for abandoning Eliza when she needed him most.
Church and Sully: Adorable little boys that I love with my whole heart. I love how they tried to cheer Eliza up, but didn’t force her to get out of bed, nor did they make fun of her for the situation she was in.
Eliza’s Parents: They fucked up real bad, but I do feel bad for them. They should’ve tried to be more involved in Monstrous Sea, at least keeping track of it and realizing how big it was, but while they did fuck shit up really badly, I don't think it was entirely their fault, as Eliza didn’t even try to keep them informed, nor did she ever tell them that her identity was secret. They were kind of dumb though :/
DAVY!!!!: THE BEST BOY. STAR OF THE SHOW. I LOVE HIM. BEST CHARACTER.
Well, that’s pretty much it, please feel free to message me if you want to talk more about this book.
Thank you for reading! ^_^

Pixar's Coco - spoiler free review
TL;DR = Through and Through it's on quality par with Disney Classic 2D animated.  I'd rank it alongside Beauty and the Beast easy, no questions. Ton of heart, balanced fare, and with basically none of the negatives you're probably thinking it will have. Go see it! ... but if they show the Frozen short, leave the theatre for 15 minutes to get popcorn.  that short is terrible and needs to be cut from existence. ========== Saw it on Tuesday.  Now that I've had time to digest it I can properly review it. THE GOOD! - It feels more like a Disney Classic Animated Film than a Pixar Film. ... and I mean the good Disney classics, like Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, etc.  (though it's definitely in the half-step lower that Beauty and the Beast was as opposed to pure gold Lion King / Aladdin) - The music is amazing I've had the main song of the film stuck in my head off and on and I've had no complaints about it. ... bonus points, they clearly wrote the lyrics in spanish first, then translated to english.  Savvy viewers will be able to pick this up.  Also, the soundtrack has Spanish language versions of the songs. - The characters are fantastic Expect fanart of Dante from me - I seriously don't have complaints about it! This is better explained through the subsequent section... THE GOOD ASPECTS THAT ARE DERIVED FROM AVOIDING PITFALLS! - It doesn't feel like a Pixar film! Pixar films lately have been terrible.  They also focus heavily on The Science of Sad (i.e. calculated forced tear jerkers or teaching kids the valuable life lesson of DEATH). ... It doesn't feel like that.  The only times you might cry are when they touch on resonating tones (because the film is heavily family centric), but they aren't cry moments.  So it's like Disney animated better films where you might get weepy eyed because it touches you.  Not because they pull a narrative sucker punch. - It isn't Book of Life! I still haven't seen Book of Life myself.  But I've read plot synopsis ... the two stories have basically nothing in common.  So if that's a concern, don't worry about it. - It doesn't follow the "but I wanna be an artist!" trope-line I hate that plot line.  Seriously, it's predictable sappy artuer wankery.  Coco presents the foundations early on for plot twists later where it breaks away from that horrid story-flow.  So it's not a "I'll show everyone artists are better than you pleb" story.  ... but why it's different is spoiler territory, so I can't talk about it further. - It isn't political! This was a big concern going into it for me.  And this is because of how pants-on-head retarded Hollywood liberals have become (let's politicize everything, get the facts wrong because we focus on feelings, and alienate everyone destroying our story!).  There's absolutely ZERO political sentiments in there.  That means it focuses on stuff that everyone can relate to ... WHICH MEANS IT'S A GOOD STORY. - It doesn't get lost in its myth This is a general concern about any film with magic elements: story tellers get sidetracked by the world/myth lore to the point where the audience can't connect.  They keep it focused to a few simple/unique aspects that have a resonating quality to them ... which means you don't have to remember WHY something's important or get re-explained anything.  It's stuff you likely care about. THE BAD FROZEN it's that bad. It's the only thing I regret and hate about the experience And it frustrates me that they paired something so HORRENDOUSLY AWFUL with something so good. The rumors are true about how terrible this thing is. You'll wish everyone (except Oaken) dies by the time the "short" is over. - rumor, that lines up with product, is that it was a made-for-tv special that got cancelled (because animated TV specials are almost always terrible) - so it's 20 minutes, way too long - the music is terrible garbage - they made Olaf into a truly unbearable waste of space (actually impressive since I didn't mind him before) - They made the clown the main character.  That never works out. - Olaf goes out literally looking for traditions.  I mean ... WHAT.  nobody can relate to this shit. - you'll pray for a quick death and nail in the coffin to Frozen Fever ... and hopefully a cancellation of the sequel ... and with how bad this short is that just might happen - the lesbian princess scrapped story line still hangs its awful uncanny head over the sisters (substantiated rumor is that Anna/Elsa lovers was plan A and it didn't test well, so they recast them as sisters ... and now you can't unsee it. ... Granted, I think it's more that Frozen isn't that interesting of a story, so having a divisive politicized element in a boring story will lose half your audience instantly as opposed to "THEY AREN'T READY!" but tumblr-ites will never accept that answer).  This short did nothing to shift the dynamics away from Anna/Elsa being lovers ... which is totally weird since they're sisters.   - I mean, for example, Kristoff coulda been a bigger part in this to make Anna have an actual love interest (with an odd-couple romance) and further push that uncanny creepiness away ... BUT THEY ALSO COULD HAVE MADE A GOOD SHORT. - i think i laughed a total of 3 times in 20 minutes - I can't even imagine what the story boarding meetings where like when they crew had to try and sell each other on this garbage?  Did those happen in a vacuum? - We got this instead of a cool short like Piper.  Screw you Disney.   Screw you and your Frozen Fever! - however, the sauna house guy, Oaken, makes a 60 second appearance.  He's still an amazing character.  ... that's the only good point of the short. Out of spite, I'll pitch a better story line set in Frozen with the same parameters of it being a Holiday Special... - Keep the intro gag that the sisters try to host a party and all the citizens go home to their families for christmas, leaving sisters without a party to host - ... but then have Anna be torn between spending time with her boyfriend Kristoff (in some adorkable odd couple romance hijinks) or spend time with her sister ... - and have Elsa feel a little bitter and jealous over this and sulk a little, with Olaf misunderstanding everything for comic dramatic irony - then the sisters both get over their little argument, and apologize - have a quiet ending where the characters spend time together  (not some big chorus number full of painful sap) - the idea is to strike tones with anyone who's dealt with marriage, significant others, and other time conflict of interests - keep to 5-7 minutes and boom.  Cute story, simple conflict that's resolved, stuff people can relate to So yeah, IF they show the short.  walk out for a 10-15 minute stretch.  A lot of theater houses are complaining and are trying to figure out how to cut the short from their screenings.  So you may not have to suffer.

Ask the Admins 10.0
@genosha-meiuqer: This is to Admin M -- Out of curiosity, do you drive anything like a War Boy?
M: Yes. That is actually a problem I have irl. I drive far too fast. Haven’t gotten pulled over yet though! (knock on wood)
Anon asked: Describe yourself in one adjective.
Chamomile: Talkative
M: Witty
Syren: Enthusiastic
Jynn: Resilient
Vox: Amiable
Anon asked: Do you have other sister blogs or affiliate blogs about writing? Or maybe you can rec us other writing blogs? Not that auideas is not awesome, loving this blog! Just, you know, want to follow other blog. Thanks! Loving your aus btw!
Chamomile: We have @nsfw-auideas, which has been inactive for a while since I became uncomfortable running it and the other admins sort of dropped of….but for blogs that inspire me, I always love @writing-prompt-s because they give me ideas for prompts with their prompts (if that makes sense, lmao) and also from fanfiction/fanart. I get //so// much inspiration from fanfiction/fanart.
M: Yeah we have our NSFW blog, but that’s pretty much it, and I don’t really have a lot of time at the moment to look at other blogs, so this is definitely one for the other admins to answer.
Syren: I second what Chamomile mentioned, and I also get a lot of inspiration from @inell who is a writing machine in the Sterek fandom. It's insane how many stories she churns out, and they often help me mindlessly brainstorm, if that makes any sense??
Jynn: I get a lot of inspiration from @otpprompts!
Vox: @otpprompts and @writing-prompt-s are two other really great prompt blogs! ( ≧▽≦)
Anon asked: curious about the new assistant admins. mind doing information pages for them like you did for the admins?
Chamomile: Here’s all of our pages: Chamomile // M // Syren // Jynn // Vox
Anon asked: When I'm grown, a martyr I will never be. I won't cry for you. I won't suffer for the things you do. I won't cry for you, see. Even though I understand you, Kankri.
Chamomile: this is a sin
M: get outta here
Syren: *Castiel voice* I don't understand that reference.
Jynn: I had to actually go back and find this song again for Chamomile so I just have to say how dare you make me relive that.
Vox: This ask has 6een marked as triggera6le and will 6e taken d9wn by Kankri Vantas. (ง •̀_•́)ง
Anon asked: So I know that this blog is SFW, but do you mind if I use your prompts in a NSFW story?
Chamomile: That’s totally fine! Whatever you do with our prompts is totally up to you.
M: ^^^^^
Anon asked: Have you decided what theme you'll be using? I remember a while back one of the admins asked what the followers think about the current theme.
Chamomile: Oh yeah, we got this solved a long while back. If anybody has a theme that they think is really nice and that we should try out, then send it to us!
Anon asked: What is your opinion on "Shrek is Love, Shrek is Life"?
Chamomile: get out
M: leeeeeeeave
Syren: I am daily surrounded by meme trash and could probably recite it perfectly if I tried. I am only slightly ashamed.
Jynn: I'll never forget it. That being said, I never want it in my presence ever again.
Vox: You scream, I scream, we all scream for Dank Memes™
Anon asked: I finally talked to my future college roommate. Accidentally ignore her email for a week tho... Not really off to a great start?
Chamomile: I can’t tell if this is a prompt or you telling us about your day but my advice would be to get her a card that’s like “I’m sorry I ignored your email for a week” and then some candy or whatever else she likes.
M: Lol man that did not happen with my current roommate - we actually sent each other our first introductory emails at the exact same moment even though I was across the country. Thankfully, we’ve clicked very well, but I would recommend not getting on their bad side right away, or that’ll make your year not so much fun.
Syren: Dude, I am the worst person at communicating possibly ever. I have lost friends because I forget to reply to them for months, no joke. I've found the best way to make it up is to be as sincere with your apology as possible. I've learned not to make excuses. Don't sweat it!
Jynn: I'm glad you reached out to your roommate, good job! I'd go with Chamomiles card and candy idea.
Vox: -looks at the messages I have in Line that are months old- -l a u g h s- Oh honey.
Anon asked: Do you (admins and assistants) know how to make gifs? Also, how do you pronounce "gifs"? "Jifs" or "gifs".
Chamomile: I have no clue on how to make a gif, and I pronounce it like “gift” without a “t”.
M: Gifs. Hard G. I will fight you on this.
Syren: I have no clue how to make a gif, though I've been thinking about learning (barely any gifs out there for When We Rise). Hard g.
Jynn: There are tons of gif makers online, I also have an app for that. I pronounce it “Gif” with a hard G
Vox: I LOVE making gifs!! They’re super fun. Also I use both alternatively.
Anon asked: how do the admins like the new assistants? And how do the assistants like the admins?
Chamomile: I think they’re pretty great! Everybody has been really good with getting their prompts in the drafts so admin m and I can approve them. No real problems.
M: Two thumbs up from me! I can now feel more stress about my school and social life than about this darn blog...
Syren: They're all generally fabulous people and make me feel welcomed. I'm the youngest of the bunch, but that doesn't change anything. Also, I have a habit for apologizing for everything, and they always assure me that it's all good and that they've all been there.
Jynn: Chamomile, Em, and I have actually all been friends for upwards of a couple years now, and I've contributed to the blog here and there before so it hasn't been super different for me tbh.
Vox: If I could put emojis into replies, this right here would just be a string of sparkles and hearts. Everyone’s been really nice!!
Anon asked: I haven't been on this site since forever and I just got back. Nice to see more prompts that I can add to my growing list of things I want to try writing :) (Also, "Runaway" and "So Sad, So Sad" are some of my favorite songs! :D )
Chamomile: Eeeeee! Thanks for loving the blog! Also I know right, I have some pretty good music taste if I do say so myself ;)
Anon asked: Knowing that someone else uses Japanese emoticons makes me really happy. \\\ (۶ÒワÒ)۶//// Where do you get yours from, Vox? An app, website, or other?
Vox: Yaaaaa, kaomoji are super funnnnn!! ☆⌒(*^-°)v I have a Japanese keyboard on my phone so I automatically have a bunch of them readily available.
Anon asked: Choose five of the blog's followers that you've talked to a fair amount and say what story genre you think they would be a character in, and if they would be a protag or antag.
Chamomile: Instead of choosing just five, I went with all of them. Here’s the link
M: I willllllll do this over break - expect a post on my admin blog!
Anon asked: If life was a standardized test, you would be "Answer B" because I always turn to you when I don't know what to do.
Chamomile:....that’s actually really sweet?
M: Omfg.
Syren: This would be really cute if the thought of standardized tests didn't throw me into a panic over upcoming midterms, SATs, and ACTs
Jynn: Awwwwww!
Vox: I’m in various stages of oh god and that’s so sweet and lol my name is actually Bee so this is kind of great, are you flirting with me anon, winkwink. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Anon asked: What do you call a flirty Greek? A Socratease
Chamomile: The King of flirty Greeks is Mithridatetease (Mithridates)
M: Get out.
Syren: As long as they don't have an Oedipus complex, they can tease all they want
Jynn: More like MithriDATEs
Vox: Has war flashbacks to Greek myth lectures. Sweats nervously.
@all-made-of-stardust asked: So I love your blog, and I especially love all your Never Book quotes. I was wondering - what's your policy on using those quotes? Can I directly use the whole quote? Should I change it a bit? Should I not use it at all? There's several quotes I have been thinking about using, and I just wanted to make sure I was doing it right.
Chamomile: hey there! This is a pretty popular question, but our policy is that you can change it however you want (adding in words, changing pronouns, etc.) but don’t repost it anywhere without crediting us. Cutting our parts is also totally fine. If you write something inspired by TNB, or has a TNB quote in it, make sure to shoot us a message and we’ll make sure to add it to the follower’s works page!
@ihaveatheoryabouttimetravel asked: What exactly is the never book?
Chamomile: Hey! I’m the creator of The Never Book (TNB) and here’s the long version of how/why I created it (link), but the short version is that TNB is supposed to be a collection of writing prompts to help inspire you to write. Some of them are very dramatic, while other ones are humorous, and other ones are meant to be cliffhangers that make you want to write what happens next. The name “The Never Book” is supposed to imply that all of these quotes come from a story that has never been written, meaning that they’re free game for prompts as well as to make stories out of.
Note: I’ve entertained the idea of trying to write a piece of fiction with a ton of TNB quotes crammed into it. Might try to get around to that if anybody is interested.
Anon asked: Is it okay to Writer's Block shame a friend who has an almost complete first chapter for 57 different fanfiction pieces???
Chamomile: #me
M: Shame us all
Syren: I'm too fragile to be bombarded like this
Jynn: I'm being called out.
Vox: First of all how dare, it’s only 56. (ง •̀_•́)ง
anon asked: tbh between chamomile and m i really thought that chamomile was younger. i have been surprised but not unpleasantly so
Chamomile: I’m definitely shorter and rounder than admin m, but I’m older by like, a year and a half? Something like that?
M: I am the alpha.
anon asked: assistant admins, what’s your favorite ice cream flavor?
Syren: Blue Moon (it's an upper Midwest thing I guess)
Jynn: Chocolate
Vox: Mint chocolate chip

My first fanfiction-Quack Pack fanfiction?!
Here is finally something to do, I would just ask for some mistakes that I have right now on fanfiction to correct me and show me some things that are wrong, since they are certainly written the way I imagine those things. Thank you in advance for your help. Since unfortunately not only on Tumblr, but also on Instagram and on Deviantart and other social networks there are few things related to the cartoon series "Quack Pack", I decided to write fanfiction. Since unfortunately there is not much fanart related to Quack Pack, I wish there was a little more, I actually thought I was drawing related to it, but since I do not have the conditions for it, and I draw on my computer and it turns out a little bad, I decided to do better with fanfiction writing, but not the ones most write, but quite different, mostly from my perspective, the way I would like it to be in my fanfiction. Who will and who will read and like what I will write about now (I will post at the beginning on my blog, then I will see what happens later), he can. Freely draw based on my story, and I would love to be a little more fanart related to the Quack Pack. I know the Quack Pack has had some problems and I'm sure to include many things in my fanfiction story, first and foremost from the comic book world, and this fanfiction is actually going to be some kind of crossover. Please note that this is my first fanfiction and there will probably be mistakes I make and please correct me. Thank you for your understanding. And if I forgot, it would mostly be based on Donald Duck and his nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck (but in the Quack Pack version) and Daisy Duck, but there might be characters that could appear, but unfortunately they didn't appeared in the Quack pack but will certainly pop up in my fanfiction story, but it will be a surprise. There is so much to begin with, and I will certainly start over and this story will be divided into parts. Here I am going to start with my fanfiction story and I want you to enjoy my story and apologize in advance for some things I have offended by something and made some mistakes that made you offended and I apologize for that. And yes, if there are any questions, feel free to ask me. Here's a start:
Morning. It was dawn, actually. July month. Yesterday was over thirty degrees, and it's not easy for ducks to keep that temperature under so many feathers, and so is Donald Duck, who has experienced everything in his life and so on. He slept in one solid dream, and he certainly dreamed of beating the Evronians as a Duck Avenger, or of fighting Maui Mallard with his martial arts, or how he, as a Double Duck, perform special espionage missions to save the world or simply how he likes to fish on one lake and enjoy it. Whatever it is, he certainly loves that kind of dream. However, someone interrupts him, in the sense of someone or something interrupting his dream. Yes, it was a boring alarm clock and digital. It was four o'clock in the morning and Donald slammed his fist into his alarm clock to turn it off. He turned off the alarm clock and stood up all awake, realizing what day it would be like today. Yes, he will have a lot of work to do, both as a cameraman and as a reporter, but not with Kent Powers, who fired him long ago, but with Everett Ducklair, his chief. Yes, Donald hated Everett as much as he did Kent Powers before, as he kept upsetting his life by forcing him to do some trivial things instead of his main job, such as cleaning toilets, hallways, halls, and the like. Fortunately, for all his work, he was paid a lot of money, and with that Donald could be satisfied, first of all, because he devoted all his money to his beloved nephews. When he had some free time or a break at work, he thought of Huey, Dewey, and Louie, who were no longer young children and could soon be adults. They have long since entered puberty, their personalities have formed, and they will soon start whether or not for a year in high school. Although they had different traits, they still acted as a team except in some things. Donald, of course, first went to the bathroom to do his work, so he washed and brushed his teeth. Afterwards, he put on his Hawaiian shirt and went to have his breakfast. After breakfast, he got ready for work, but before he went to work, he wanted to go to his nephews' room to see if they were sleeping any longer. As they continue to sleep, Donald merely smiled at them and slowly approached them and gave them his parental kiss on their cheeks, but they did not notice or feel it after they slept soundly. Donald then left their room and walked down the stairs to retrieve his business bag. Yes, at that point it was five o'clock in the morning, but of course Donald had to get to work early, as his boss had ordered him to do. He had to be at work at six o'clock. So he took it in his bag, in the meantime he heard a loud voice, and Donald replied:
"Silence!", And gestured Donald with his index finger to his beak as a sign of silence, and pointed to the top floor, thinking it was one of his nephews. As the loud noise stopped, Donald turned to the hall and then to the door and meanwhile, his nephew Louie Duck appeared in his pajamas with a backwards cap and said to Louie his uncle: "Can I please Uncle Donald go with you to work?" "No!" Donald replies loudly, "you can't go to work, and besides getting out of bed now, is it too early to play and go to school?" "Uncle Donald, so we're on vacation now, school's not working during the month of July, have you forgotten that? Besides, we'll be alone when you're gone," Louie said, and Donald suddenly thought and put his hand on his forehead as that he had done something wrong. And they sit in a small chair in the hall.
I almost forgot about it. Yes, I worry about you, that something bad doesn't happen to you. I can't quite leave you alone. Especially not to my worst neighbor in the history of humanity, Neighbor Jones, and his family. It just makes a mess in my yard and makes my life even worse, and again I would not move, ”Donald said, sad. "Don't think so badly Uncle D, you're for my brothers and for me my best uncle, and also the best parent we have. You always think of us and keep an eye on us whenever you can, even if my brothers and I make hell instead let’s make paradise for you. ”Louie said as she approached her uncle. Uncle Donald hugged Louie crying with happiness and said, "You never make me hell, even if you sometimes ruin my house, but I'm very happy to have you, as if you were my sons and not my nephews. Without you I'm empty man." "Don't, Uncle Donald. So you have the best cousins you have, you have your girlfriend Daisy, who is also our aunt, you have Uncle Scrooge, you have best friends Panchito and Jose, and Goofy certainly, our mom Della, who is in space right now, and now I can't remember who else. But you have more support than you think, "Louie said, hugging his uncle. "Oooohh... Thank you Louie, but I have to tell you something and please promise me you won't tell your brothers or anyone, especially Fethry Duck. Okay?" "All right, Uncle Donald. But why?" Louie asked, wondering who was hiding something, since he was of such a nature that he neither loves nor can lie. "Here, Louie, why. You and I know that Uncle Scrooge and I had a fight, don't you?" "I know, Uncle D. I'm sad it must have happened, and I haven't seen Uncle Scrooge in a long time. I know he's a lot of stingy and hard-hearted, but I know for sure, and I believe he surely deep in our heart, thinks of us, and we probably miss him . ”Louie replies sadly. "Ooohh ... I know Louie, but then again, he only thinks of himself and his business and especially his money and I don't think I'm sending you there. In my opinion, better come to you Webby and Mrs. Beakly, than you to you go to Scrooge. And I wouldn't argue about it any more. Okay?!” "All right, Uncle D." Louie sighed miserably. "Next, my only real friends are Jose Carioca, Panchito, partly Goofy, Gyro Gearloose and Fenton. They are the only ones who give me confidence," Donald replied. "What about One? Lyla Lay? Kay K? Reginella? Don't they matter to you? And what about Fethry and Gus Goose?" Louie asked mysteriously. "Be quiet! Don't hear anyone. I know, but these are my private affairs, so don't talk to anyone about this or you won't go on adventures with me like Duck Avenger! Okay?!" - Donald replies angrily. "All right, Uncle Donald," Louie replies. "Yes, I know you very much love my cousin Fethry, or your further uncle, but I'm afraid to make a mess again so I have to pay big fines later. Remember the last time Fethry guarded you?" Donald asked. "I remember. But it was fun. We had a great time with Fethry and my cousin, or Fethry's nephew Dugan Duck," Louie says excitedly. "I know, but a mess was made, and besides, I had a lot of reports from my awkward neighbors. I can't allow such things next time. You understand what I'm talking about, don't you?" "I know, Uncle Donald. I know." Louie says sadly. "Then you know why I can't trust you, my cousin Gus Goose." "I know, because he only thinks about the food he eats all the time," Louie replies. "Not only that, but because he's too stupid," Donald replies. "Okay, but he's fun too," Louie replies. "Yes I know, but I can't take the risk again. What I'm talking about is babysitting, and since I can't trust everyone, I can only entrust that job to Dickie Duck, Goldie's granddaughter. I just hope she's not too busy writing her student master's work. " "Dickie is great. I don't mind being a babysitter. She's never bored with it," Louie replies happily. "I'm glad about that. I'll talk to her and if she's free, she'll come to watch over you. Okay?" "Ok, Uncle D." "Now, back to bed." "All right, Uncle." "And don't tell anyone about this, okay?" "Ok. And good luck at work, Uncle D."                                                                "Thank you Louie. Goodbye! See you in the evening," Donald said, getting up and heading for the door, in the meantime ringing the phone. "Who's calling this at this time ?!" Donald mumbled and picked up the phone and asked, "Who is it?" “Can I keep your nephews safe?” Fethry asked cheerfully in his sweater, living two blocks away from the Donald. "Noooooo!" - Donald angrily answered and hung up. Poor Fethry. All in all, he takes his bag and wristwatch, leaves the house, runs to the bus station, manages to catch the bus and leaves for work. However, it was six o'clock in the morning. Louie Duck goes to his room and goes to his deck chair (this was also his bed) and in his pajamas, wearing his cap on his head, reads a comic book while his brothers sleep. But Louie didn't read any comics related to super heroes, he read a comic about Darkwing Duck, which really existed in his world.
End of Chapter One.
