"y/n, please. my fingers hurt!" atsushi complained, head leaning against the couch. you had your butt at the edge of the seat, tounge sticking out of your mouth as your eyes were glued onto thee television. your fingers moved at lighting, beads of sweat on your forehead. one last blow and your charcter knocked atsushi's out of the dog park!! "YES!" you cheered, slamming the remote to your couch as you rocket upward, arms streched toward the sky. "that can't be all you can offer?" you grinned, looking over at your boyfriend. "babe, i love your desire for gaming or whatever...but i think my blisters have blisters." he raised his hands, showing them off to you as he leaned against the couch. "pfft, put some rubbing alchoal on it and you'll be fine." you wave it off, " 'round two?" atsushi sighed, "your washing the dishes if you looooose~" you teased. "game on."

"babe..it's 5am...what the hell are you doing?" your boyfriend stood at the doorframe of your shared bedroom. he fell asleep on the couch late at night yesterday, and you took this oppertunity to binge video games. "gaming!" you had chip bags around your bed, soda cans on the floor. the ginger sighed, walking toward you and picked up the empty bags, kissing your cheek as he walked by. "you can't leave a mess like this, did you at least sleep?" you shrugged. your boyfriend glared at you, grabbing your remote and shuts the televison off. "heyyy!" you whined, feeling him gently push you down on the bed, forgetting all the garbage around. you felt him cuddle up to you, his hot breath tickling your neck as his leg locked around yours. "close you eyes, dumbass. last thing i need is you being all grumpy tomorrow. i don't want to deal with that..." you grumbled, hugging him back and breathing the shampoo in his hair. although you wanted to keep playing, you couldn't help but fall fast asleep in your boyfriend's arms.

"my belladonna is at it again, i see?" dazai rested his arms and chin on the top of your head as you sat criss-cross on the couch playing your favorite fighting game you tried to oush him away, although you've been at this for hours, dazai finally decided to speak up. "dazai, stop! your making me lose focus!" you tried to push him away, but went back to your game when he refused to listen. "i'm not even doing anything~" he teased, his fingers suddenly moving down toward your sides, "but if you really want me to...i can make this 10x more harder.." before you could question you felt him squeeze your sides, causing you to let out a squeal and jump...his hands still tickling you. "wahait! dahahzai, noho wahait nahahaoooo!!" you tried to squirm away from him, your hands still on your controller. "come on~ your a hardcore gamer, aren't you? surely you can handle a few tickles~ while playing, no?" you ended up losing the game, soon dishing out what dazai dished out, creating an all-out tickle war. you can decided who won :3

“You’re safe here, I keep you safe! What else could you want?” Atsushi turned to you looking at you with a mixture of confusion and sorrow in his face. Yes you did just try to escape but what atempt was this the 5th in a month? You think so atleast if you weren't in the situation you were now you would've given him some pointers because this was just sad.

"I-I don't understand!" His segmental hetoerochromic eyes filling up with tears.

"I just want to love you! I-I just wanna be loved..." He then curled up into a ball he sounded like he said something but it was all drowned out with sobs. You kind of felt like you had to do something... But no you can't! So the next best thing was to try and leave again.

"D-don't go." He reached out for you.

"Just for now... If you don't go you can- can...." Atsushi paused for a second it looked like he was trying to think of something..

"Come with me on my next mission!" He finally had a lightbulb moment and so did you it was your perfect chance to escape I mean yes you did think the last 5 times but you were 100% sure it was going to go well planned this time!

And that is how you spent the next hour trying to comfort Atsushi...

.....But damn..

... Maybe Atsushi should take adivce from Dazai a little more often

I actually need the visions that Atsushi sees of dazai to be a creation of his own and completely unrelated to any plan or scheme dazai has. I also need for dazai to be completely unaware that Atsushi has been seeing him that way until Atsushi asks him how he managed that type of telepathic community just for Dazai to be like “????”

Hhella i have a question. Many people i follow like bungo stray dogs and despite me trying to watch it 2 times now ive just not gotten into it so idk what happens in the later seasons

Literally no one i follow posts anything about the main guy. Tiger ass. Atsushi. I see so much bsd fanart everyday tbh i cannot remember a SINGLE one being artwork of him. Its only dazai and like. 2 other people who i dont know. One of thems got a hat. Anyways like. is tiger ass still the main character in the later seasons??? Do people just not like him as much???? Ive been thinking about this for days hella

i was looking at a lot of atsushi nakajima fanart and ive noticed that people seem to either draw his eyes almost entirely purple with a little bit of yellow at the bottom or almost entirely yellow with a little bit of purple at the top rather than like equal (which is how i tend to draw him)

Summary: Your waretiger was nervous and it was your job to reassure him. OR what happens moments before you have to leave on a mission right around Valentine's time?

Pairing: Reader x Atsushi Nakajima

Your little weretiger was nervous.

You could tell by the way he fidgeted at his desk; pretended to look at the computer without clicking or changing anything. Then, almost absentmindedly, his purple-yellow eyes flickered towards you where they’d linger. You could feel the intensity of his gaze as his eyes run you up and down; the way they lingered on the hilt of your gun or the pouch full of bullets and other emergency supplies.

You could practically hear him rattle up in his head all your typical mission supplies, checked and re-reched whether you had everything with you. An energy bar? Water? Tea?

You found it adorable how much he worried.

Yet as you met his gaze with a reassuring smile, Atsushi’s eyes would widen. His expression screamed that he hadn’t noticed his own staring, then his face dusted a light pink shade. He’d duck his head down so only the very top light grey strands would be visible and fake-work again. His fingers nervously flickered through the files on his desk. His body language screamed ‘working’; he was working. He swore he was.

“ Ready to go?” You tore your gaze away from Atsuhi and you turned to face your partner in crime for the mission.

“ Almost,” you replied with a smile “ Give me five?”

You saw Dazai frown then flicker his attention to Atsushi then back to you. A knowing look on his face- a lewd grin which seemed to encourage you “ See ya in the car~”

You knew you had better chances of finding him in the nearby cafe OR bar.

Still you waved him off before you slowly and quietly made your way towards Atsushi. The very nervous Atsushi who firmly stared at a half empty piece of paper in his hands, his mind so obviously elsewhere it was almost comical to look at. After all, no one took this long to read the mission brief. It was called a ‘brief’ for a reason.

“ Whatcha doing?” you poked Atsushi’s shoulder, then raised an eyebrow as he screamed and flew up from his chair. “ What’s wrong?” you asked innocently as if you hadn’t already guessed the answer.

You watched Atsushi; saw his nervousness, the way he chewed his lips raw. The shake of his hands, the bob of his adams apple as he swallowed until; “ W-would you like- to-spend-valentine's-day-with-me” Atsushi bowed in front of you.

You crocked an eyebrow in surprise, took a moment to try and decipher the mix of words he had just thrown at you in a shy, embarrassed haze. Still it was a private question in such a formal matter, and you found it absolutely adorable. A giggle made it past your lips before you leaned forward, so you could catch his eyes even as he stared firmly at the floor.

“ ‘course, you’re my boyfriend, who else would I spend it with?” you flapped your lashes innocently watching his mouth open, then close, as he processed your words. Then he realized his own ridiculous behavior and grew more rigid.

“ Ahh well- it’s – we haven’t since– and it’d be our first and–” Atsushi fidgeted with his hands still not looking at you.

You swore that if he was in his waretiger form, then his ears would be flattered against his head, and his tail would drum against the floor. You could practically hear it; thud-thud-thud. Biting back yet another giggle you focused on the nervous mess of a boy in front of you.

“ I’ll see you after the mission Atsu” you gave him a peck on the lips, lingered long enough to see his cheeks dust a darker red at the nickname and the memories it brought back. Then you were off, darting down the ADA halls to catch up to Dazai. The faster you started, the faster you’d be able to get this mission over and done with.

After all, your little weretiger was nervous, shy and excited. And you couldn’t wait to be back to reassure him, and show him that you meant every word when you called him your boyfriend, your partner, your mate.

Author note: Happy Valentines day! I hope you smiled at this little Atsushi sweetness and my first attempt at writing a fic with him.

JEALOUSY HCS WITH BSD BOYS

➪ characters : osamu dazai, atsuhi nakajima, ryūnosuke akutagawa, tecchou suehiro, saigiku jouno

➪ other notes : finally got the motivation to write, might write a part two but we’ll see, manga spoilers in this post! this is like pt 3 or pt 4 of me writing while sleep deprived.

Osamu Dazai :

- at first glance it’s hard to imagine him as a jealous boyfriend, he’s a confident man

- but let’s be honest, if you’re his partner who he loves, he won’t like sharing

- there’s an inner part of him that thinks you deserve better than an ex port mafia executive

- but he also knows that you love him and wouldn’t give another person a chance

- he’d try his best to play it off, and as seen many times, he won’t show his true feelings

- he’ll stand besides you, wrapping an arm around your waist, pulling you into him

- he’ll not so subtly make fun of the person, and if that’s not enough to make them go away, don’t you worry

- he’ll shake the person’s hand, squeezing a bit too tightly as he introduces himself to them

- you can do a lot of things with a sharp glance and a heavy hand

- after his encounter, he’ll whine about how the person was too close to you

- as he holds you tightly, he frowns into your shoulder, thinking about how one day you might just leave for another person

- please comfort him, he needs you, he emotionally values you a lot

Atsushi Nakajima :

- he can’t help feeling jealous when someone is too close to you for comfort

- growing up with no one on his side, he’s insecure about your relationship :(

- what if you find someone better than him?

- if you’re with his co-workers, he wouldn’t mind because he trusts them

- but if a stranger is smooth talking you, he’ll frown, feeling unwanted

- but please hug this poor boy and tell him that you love him, he wants your comfort

- he can’t control the twinge of possessiveness over you

- he just wants to always be with you but what if that overwhelms you and you leave him

- if he catches someone flirting with you he’ll stand there to see what you do before sliding himself into the conversation

- ofc he’s gonna be polite but theres a bit of annoyance in his eyes as he looks at the person

- he just hopes that you tell the person to go away or something

- he’ll take your hand and intertwine it with his, squeezing it slightly, not wanting to let go

Ryūnosuke Akutagawa :

- he’ll cut that bitch up

- oh my poor ryū, this man is beyond insecure

- he’s not scared to step between you and that person to threaten them

- he’ll completely deny his jealousy by saying that the person was being suspicious

- literally everyone around him left him ( besides gin ) yet you still stuck with him

- he will never admit it but he always twitches in jealousy when someone talks to you

- it doesn’t matter who it is, he just doesn’t want you to get any second thoughts about him

- he thinks that he’s not worthy of you, so please affirm this poor boy

- he’ll immediately tell the person to fuck off before he slices them to ribbons

- he gets jealous a lot which can be overbearing but be patient with him

- growing up in the slums with his only companions being killed led him to not be soft around anyone

- reassure him and maybe even grab his hands and you’ll see a soft blush on his face

Techhou Suehiro :

- while i think this man is protective, i honestly can’t see him as a jealous boyfriend

- he knows that you love him and wouldn’t leave him for anyone else

- i think he would only step in when you get uncomfortable around the person trying to court you

- i don’t think he would grab you or hold you, wanting to keep up his reputation

- that being said, he would straight up tell the person to please leave you alone

- they don’t really have an option to refuse, no one would dare disobey the hunting dogs

- even if he does feel jealous, he doesn’t really know what to think about it

- jouno would definitely tease him if he hears tecchou’s heart beat faster when someone who’s way too close to you talks to you sweetly

- if you ask him if he was jealous, he would look at you confused, walking next to you ignoring the question

- definitely not swayed by other people, he knows you’re attractive

- he loves you but he completely trusts your relationship with him

Saigiku Jouno :

- this man is a huge tease, standing beside you before mockingly smiling at the person

- he gives me possessive boyfriend vibes, knowing that he can only rely on four of his senses

- expect him to be jealous when you talk to tecchou for too long

- but he doesn’t portray jealousy in the normal way, he’s way more coolheaded

- he’s not an idiot though, he knows when someone likes you due to their heartbeat

- he wouldn’t just pick on everyone who talks to you unless their heart gave him a reason to

- he puts an arm around your shoulder, squeezing it as he asks the person if they really think they’re worthy of you

- basically gives them a mental breakdown until they’re running away in tears :)

- he teases you afterwards, telling you how he doesn’t like sharing whats his

- he would probably hold your face ( in private ) and bring his face dangerously close to yours

- only for him to pull back, smirking as he hears your whines

- he’s a very confident man but you’re his partner, his and his only
