winter 2020 anime: what to watch

ok apparently they airing scarily soon so gotta do this bros

plunderer: many years back when i read manga this was one of my favs alongside tate no yuusha/ akashic records. they got animes. AND NOW THIS BABY IS HELLLLLLL FUCKIN YAAAAAAAA. i am so fucking pumped ok i loved this and i loved my mask baby. i dont remember a huge amount of what happens but i am sure it will come back. only criticism is it’s a ‘power level’ thing i remember and that is i mean.... it gets a lil .... dry tbh (cough seven deadly sins)

isekai quartet 2: more of the same. i don’t mind it one bit. more megumin, more aqua, more kazuma vs subaru, less overlord, and we’re good

kyokou suiri: this cover looks p rad. it was recommended on MAL as a manga though then i rejected the suggestion cuz it seemed like a weird yandere situation, tho anime is more accessible for me so i’ll give it a try!

darwin’s game: if this ends up like ousama game and they ruin darwin’s name i will slit someone’s throat. art looks p generic and boring? i hope animation looks better than this cover . plots like this work so much better in futuristic settings so i hope it ain’t modern japan. (see K project for their better version hah)

infinite dendrogram: tbh the preview looked really good? also im a whore for vrmmo games you’re trapped in thanks sao. the plot sounds like something i’d write honestly so i am excited and curious to see what happens. *if it’s any good. i see a white haired boi and the dark haired girl - i stan em already hah

majutsushi orphen hagure tabi: i get mdzs vibes from the summary ? also my dude looks like that other anime dude from most 2000′s anime ever (also im going off my ass but blonde girl is annoying already)

id invaded: ‘set in a virtual world’ me: ok u had me at ‘set in a virtual world’ in all seriousness tho that cover is lit

boku no tonari ni ankoku hankaishin ga imasu: this is chuubyou gekihatsu boy but severely gay. idk recently i’ve started rly liking the chuuni vibes (tbh it’s me . im the chuuni.) so i hope i will enjoy this too lol

zenonzard: ok this just showed up on livechart but i guess i’ll check it out. it be game based so.... either soul buster yucky or ... persona 5 yucky... or mysteriously good enough to watch

runners up: jibaku shounen hanako-kun (idk it just seems more a kiddy show)

winter 2020 anime first impressions

plunderer: ayyy it’s just like what i remember from the manga. tho uh. am very disappointed in the animation quality. 

isekai quartet 2: he’s here. my man. naofumi. that’s all i need

kyokou suiri: guys i was NOT FUCKING EXPECTING THIS. it’s really good. the animation is amazing. the characters are amazing. i love them all. godaaaaamnit i thought my girl would be a yandere but no she’s just ME asf. also saki? glo up. i love her. so beautiful. legit this is so much better than i ever expected

darwin’s game: DROPPED THIS i feel bad but. the animation was just... EEHH

infinite dendrogram: uh i think im dropping this. characters suck, animation bleh. it doesn’t make any sense. too many stupid plot armour moments

majutsushi orphen hagure tabi: uhhhh hey i like this. orphen is fucking hot. and the blonde kids aren’t as annoying as expected

id invaded: so. um. if u see my previous 2020 post. um. i never read the synopsis. um... what the fuck guys. didn’t expect that. i did NOT fucking expect that. it’s not a virtual game, it’s fucking psychological fucking mindfucking me jesus motherfucking christ. the art is beautiful. characters are beautiful. animation is stellar. hondomachi is adorable. blue haired hole head dude is kinda hot ngl. wtf guys. i’ve raised my standards quite a bit these last years but fuck dude this is dr stone level amazing shit. that first episode? what a fucking gangbang. tho i had no idea what was going on i still DID somehow. it never directly tells you stuff but also does it in such a way that i’m not confused ever, i feel connected to the story and know what the heck’s going on. usually i’m awful with mystery shows, cuz i can’t follow, but this just whacks my ballpark. it’s the opposite of a trainwreck. like a clusterfuck of fuckdudethisisamazing. whoever wrote the fuckin story deserves a fuckin raise man. how do you think up this stuff? HOW?

boku no tonari ni ankoku hankaishin ga imasu: bruh this is cute asf. ive gotten into a streak of obsessions with chuuni guys. they’re just lads. evil, evil lads. also i wanna point out (they’re gay) that part in the OP when mr orange-hair’s eye goes all blue fiery . the animation there got me HIGH

finishin’ up fall 2019 anime

ahahaha it’s almost here. new year. new anime. 

let’s look at some of the best and worst from this season. well, everything i watched actually....

dr stone: if anything deserves 10/10 it’s this bitch. my inner chemistry slut has risen from the grave. this is my lifeblood. it is so good. nearing ep 17 i started reading the manga because i NEEDED more. and i haven’t read manga in like three years. i cried then at that bitchass byakuya, and dr stone’s last ep made me cry again. i’m talking more tears than the Niagara falls........ and then cried again when the second season was announced. like. if there wasn’t one i might have just gone up in flames then and there

bnha 4: i feel it’s a little more lacking then s2 or s3, maybe in action or smth but idek. i like the bit more insight and development the world is getting. also i love eri, and fat is hot (when he aint fat), also that over..load? guy is hella bae. also nighteye is actually rly cool and pls dont kill all might thats rude. also why the sudden interest in red riot like tbh i don’t rly care bout him. i want kirishima or todoroki or w/e bc they’re hot and redboy isn’t sorry. his powers suck anyhow

sao alicization 2: i think it started out better than the first season did. i needed these flashes into reality that helps show more realism, rather than just ‘ooh haha fantasy sword magic stuff’. which honestly took away from what should be a fairly severe situation. yknow. so far animation’s been steady, tho the new op is meh compared to the last ones. im not a huuge alice stan but the alice vs asuna vs the other girls is not fun, i mean it’s all asuna’s fault she could be like ‘ya i married him, dumb fucks back off’ and that’d be that but nooo it’s her fault. isn’t she dating kirito? and just letting these strange girls do this stuff to him? bruh

enen no shouboutai: very good. also 10/10. though not as 10 as dr stone. maybe more like 9/10. animation kinda decreased in quality a lil. understandably hah. warming up to the new op, i like the bit where shinra/arthur kinda fighting w each other their friendship is goals. i like all the powers. also shou is a baby boy

shinchou yuusha: the last ep twist got me fucked up. no spoilers tho. i loved all the characters, ristarte was awesome, her expressions killed me sometimes like same girl same. yuusha-san was a little bland but that might’ve been on purpose lmao now that i think of it (last minute thought: ristarte sounds oddly like... restart, don’t it? ;)))))

shokugeki no souma 4: another epic season kakakakaka. they always end on a cliffhanger and i’m like FUCk the episode’s over already when did that happen>???????>?>?> we STAN souma x erina guys. her father is an absolute DICK. and i am so glad she fuckin showed him. you go erina. get that character development. 

assassins’ pride: love me them character designs. and that op is to die for. i got the last ep to watch still. i’ve definitely warmed up to melida. and that navy-hair girl with the weird name is a goddess lmao we STAN a QUEEN. oh ya her name’s mule. dear author what made you choose that

choyoyu: i feel like a lot of the seven were glazed over, just kinda ‘oh aoi can chop stuff, merchant-san is .... a merchant that one time.... keine can heal people ..... and makes medecin worse than dr stone (btw i screamed at that like BRUH YOU FUCKIN COPIED OFF SENKU’S TEST WTF) tsukasa is way boring, akatsuki is meh and does not provide any explanation for how he pull off that magic shit without modern tech shit. ringo is cute and i want more of her actually showing why she’s smart and like... explaining it rather just ‘o she invents stuff yay’. shinobu needs to be the main-er character bc i love her god

azur lane: livechart.me says. ep 11 in 77 days. hello? where’s my jean bart?

kabukichou sherlock: ok i wasn expecting that at all. until they started insinuating how glasses dude was ‘jack’. bruh maki scary asf. did not give me good vibes ;-; also moriarty is a lil babby boy and i honest to god thought if he wasn’t jack then he was some mastermind bad guy at least bc i read sherlock holmes and we all know that bitch is a bad boy. but no now he’s a good boy and hella cute. also yes irene and sherlock dynamic kills me what a LAD 

chuubyou gekihatsu boy: shit i forgot to add this quick edit .... yes this is so cute and good and all them boys are so loveable omllllll my weeb heart

spring 2020 anime predictions

yay this season looks rly good for ANIME not for anything elSe but at least quarantine gives me hella time to watch it

kami no tou: i’ve heard very good things and was planning on reading it but i rarely end up readin things smh. i think i’ve seen at least 1 ep, maybe 2 so far, and it’s really good. the op is really well choreographed. the animation is also stellar and i believe they kept the same art style from the manhwa? story wise, it’s been kinda painfully predictable and cliche and yoru (or bam?) the mc guy? is bland and boring and just not very interesting. i like the blue haired boy. the alligator man is annoying tho. and im in love with yuri pls i want more of her and purple jumpsuit man FUCKING SUCKS i cannot stand him PLS

kaguya-sama 2: s1 i was skeptical about starting it but the sheer amount of memes on the r/animemes made me batty so i had to try it and um. im in love

shokugeki no souma 5: FUCK YEAH BOIS LETS GOOOOOOO I LOVE GOOD ANIME ABOUT NICHE FUCKIN THINGS

otome game no hametsu flag: i thought itd be dumb and cringey romancey shite bc otome game gave me chills but. first ep was really good? i think ill like this

BNA: as long as this isnt fucked with furry shit im fine bc it looks rly good pls trigger pls im beg u

winter 2020 anime summary

bnha 4: one of the better seasons so far tho, i found the school festival stuff boring even tho usually i find them interestingish. idk why. all i am taking from this season is that fat gum shouldnt be fat and hawks is really fucking hot and i am adding him to my collection thanks . also the endeavour stuff gettin a lil too personal now and i am not comfortable uwu

kyokou suiri: yeah this did not go how i thought it would but fuck i am so down

isekai quartet 2: the last 2 episodes of both seasons were the best. and i want more cameos from fuckin seiya pls and get RID of overlord that shit is getting SO annoying and ruining what otherwise would be pretty funny and enjoyable.

toaru railgun T: bruh i rly love this shit smh

azur lane: rip animation quality. best part about watching this was trying to name every single character in every scene from memory

One Punch Man s2: why is jc staff doing it didn’t madhouse make the first season?? i love jc staff still tho im confused. opm is one of the funniest fucking things to ever grace the internet, so excited for this. i love genos and sonic oh my god

Attack on Titan s3 p2: bruh aot is getting so much better these past seasons. it’s so different from the first one. i’m liking it. soundtrack is godly ofc it’s sawana hiroyuki and i am pumped for the op. the animation is always phenomenal even if they’ve started using more 3d for them tittians. wit studio can be a god sometimes. can’t wait to see where it goes. too lazy to read manga

Bungou Stray Dogs s3: bruhhhh i didn’t know they was makin another one bruhhhh this my favvvv jesus i just remembered i haven’t watched dead apple yet oops. my appreciation for bsd has only gotten stronger as i’ve been reading all those old books... like just finished frickin gatsby and all that stuff. now i understand their powers a bit more. i love studio bones. honestly i am so happy i get to see chuuya and dazai flirting again

Kenja no Mago: ok another isekai. yeah i love isekai but i’ll be damned so many of them succ ass. i mean honestly the ‘isekai’ part of the plot half the time is completely useless- like yeah this japanese dude dies and appears in a fantasy world and his ‘op powers’ are only there due to the isekai excuse. (see smartphone and death march.) !!!! it’s kinda annoying but i still have to watch them all just in case. besides this one could go somewhere- the ‘i forgot to teach him common sense’ thing could either be he’s a bland generic bitch that doesn’t know when a girl wants to smash or he’s got awful social skills. the latter would be more amusing, especially if it wants to take a konosuba route. which would be good.

Kimetsu no Yaiba: this sounds really interesting. ufotable always does a good job imo. historical japan/ demons/ katana fighting always floats my boat so goddamn i’m excited for this. 

Sarazanmai: this could be .... interesting?? it’s mappa? and that thing in the bottom left looks like elizabeth from gintama? what is going on? the description is so weird. what is ‘connecting in “that way”’ and why does it say ‘two policemen try to do something at the police box where they are stationed’ like what. does that mean what are they doing. guess i’ll have to find out

Shoumetsu Toshi: yooo this sounds so good. i always love a good ‘what’s the real meaning behind this event/ thing’ oh wait it’s based off a game ? -_- that could mean it’s either rly good? or like persona 5? idk what to think anymore now im kinda sad. but it’s madhouse so i have high hopes. also yuki looks super cute. 

Kono yo hate de koi wo utau shoujo yu-no: ok a vis nov anime. that explains the fricken title? i’m thinking this could either take a rerided route (so, not rly my thing) or it could be meh.... like big order. orrrr maybe it’ll be interesting? imma check it out jic. the alternate dimensions thing is kinda cool imo

Fairy Gone: this sounds super cool by description alone. the art..? kinda looks like it won’t be that nice to look at buT i could be very wrong. it’s pa works so i have some modicum of faith. i’m rly excited to check this out!

Gunjou no Magmel: it’s studio pierrot. i haven’t been too happy w/ them lately. art style is kinda ugly. what intrigues me is the ‘the age of exploration has returned’ i’m down for that. i’ll check this out but won’t expect too much. 

Mayonaka no Occult Koumuin: at first glance i thought this was gonna be an otome game-based thing? but it’s not! looks like a bunch of bishies! occult/ paranormal stuff? awesome! low fantasy? not my jam but can be good!

Namu amida butsu! rendai utena: the title caught my attention (amida buddha ^^) as did the char designs?? hot guys?? historical japan? how can ya go wrong?

anime i will warn you against unless you’re into that kinda thing: nande koko ni sensei ga (ecchi dumb thing?) sewayaki kitsuna ga senko-san (this seems super suspicious and i don’t trust it at all) nobunaga-sensei no osanazuma (suspicious! bad! warning! do not trust!) araiya-san (this is just plain fucking hentai)
