-It's easy to get him flustered if you know the right things to say. His fans often compliment him so he's fairly good at keeping his cool when he's on the clock, but he finds terms/petnames like cute/cutie/adorable/beautiful/handsome very intimate so he's more likely to stammer a little if you call him that (this is especially so if it's coming from someone he likes or looks up too)

-He and his sister Penny are the most aware of their problems. Lazer's faults are that he can be blinded by impulsiveness sometimes thanks to his ADHD, which can lead to him saying/doing stuff without properly thinking them through before hand. He also has a habit of running on energy drinks and highly caffeinated foods and drinks which then leads him to crash so many hours later. Lazer tries to combat this by switching his coffee/energy drinks out for tea to help relieve stress and anxiety and taking power naps when he can

-Him and Penny both have awful sleep schedules that they're trying to fix. Lazer plays more at DJ gigs late in the evening that can sometimes last until the early hours of the morning, and Penny often pulls all nighters thanks to her completion attitude with work. They're what you could call the night owls of the family

-Lazer's had his heart broken a lot thanks to past relationships. When his career was first taking off a lot of people got with him just for his reputation and money, most of her partners assumed he was dumb as he was still new in the big world that makes up the music industry. In general Lazer is also very trusting and easy going, so tended to overlook things that concerned him back in the day because he thought he was overthinking. Penny has had to deal with the teary aftermath of his breakups, which often means escorting a drunk Lazer away from a confused bartender and letting him sleep on her sofa for the night

-Him and Penny are actually super close despite them often having those typical sibling disputes

-Drinks his I Respect All Genders juice religiously

-Has some WILD drunk stories (Lazer: So I'm sitting there, barbaque sauce on my titties-

-While he stims through tapping his fingers, humming and rocking back and fourth (in general when he's sitting still he'll be moving in some way: like tapping his fingers, bouncing his leg or rocking) he has a habit to chew his fingers when he's especially upset or nervous. It was the worst when he hit puberty, Penny brought plasters for his fingers

-Cockatoo's are his favourite animal

-Him and Penny love Mama Mia they binge it together when they're both feeling burnt out and unmotivated

-He's sort of protective of all of his other girl cousins, it's a older cousin/big bro sort of protectiveness which sparked even since Penny asked to be referred to by female pronouns. Penny experienced some hate through her transitioning and that sparked Lazer's protectiveness over the other girls in his family

-Speaking of which he probably cried more than Penny did when she officially transitioned. He's such a worry wort and Penny had to remind him a lot that she was perfectly fine (and that maybe he should go take a shower he was starting to smell-)

-Penny is also very protective of her brother and is not shy of showing it. Penny knows Gavin is a sweetheart at best and a bit oblivious at worst, so if Gavin ever introduces her to his new boyfriend or girlfriend she is instantly suspicious - she's seen Lazer's heart be broken too many times and she swears she won't let it happen again

-He carries Zoot under his arm like a sack of potatoes

-He can work well in very noisy environments. Since he plays at gigs, which are always loud, he can witstand being in loud and crowded environments for a long time. He knows his limits though and will take a break when it gets too much for him

-Sometimes he ends up yelling without meaning too, again thanks to his job. Since gigs are always loud he often has to raise his voice in order for any of his team to hear him, and the habit carriers over to when he isn't working. He gets a bit embarrassed when this happens since he knows it can be annoying to other people, so just kindly ask him if he can lower his voice and he will

-He ugly cries when he's upset. He feels emotions hard so when he gets upset he really gets upset

About me:

AFAB, They/Them, 4’10, Guatemalan, nonbinary & Pansexual. I have a bit of chub, and I dress in a more youthful style: hoodies graphic tee, etc. I’m introverted, I like to be around people I’m very close to and I’m able to hang out with said before for longer periods of time, usually I only am able to be around other people an hour or so in before I get tired.

I have lots of hyperfixations and will hop to one after another but when I get into a fixation I go all in. Very spacey at times and hard for me to sit down (adhd), I have anxiety so I tend to do verbal and physical stims, shake my hands/fist, repeat words, walk on my tippy toes. Often listening to music or YouTube to help focus and stimulate myself.

Personality:

Id say an overall good person. I like to talk to and listen to my friends about things they like as well as help them in anyways I can.

Very hard working, when invested into a job or project once I get into the grove I can stick to it for hours. Happy to do physical work/projects, as well as ones where lots of ideas and think can be involved.

A little naive at times, sarcasm goes over my head and I don’t get many jokes. I can take things to literal and to heart when I’m not supposed to. Also hard for me to express myself in tough situations, will often laugh when I’m not supposed to. I can also tend to overthink as well, which lead to paranoia. I am also highly sensitive to a lot of things, as my senses are very high. I only like certain foods, get overwhelmed by smells and sounds often and dislike most physical contact.

Very chaotic most of the times, somehow full of energy, talk really loud (I often don’t realize it) love to talk about random things I know or stuff I enjoy. I really enjoy getting compliments and approval from others.

Interest:

I’m an artist I like drawing and making up stories and characters. I also like to sing, though I’m not that good. I also kinda like to write as well.

Some franchises I really like are Trolls, Doctor Who, Marvel, Hazbin, Fallout, Analog Horror/Horror, Overwatch and TF2.

I really like sweets, such as Nerds. I love Arizona Green Tea as well. I also love Pasta and Cheese.

Every character in bobs burgers is autistic

Bobs special interest is cooking and he sucks at social interaction. He’s semi sensory seeking like at the heavy metal laser band, also he’s totally bisexual. I’m obsessed with Teddy, Linda, Bob friends to lover idk

Linda doesn’t understand social norms and tries masking super hard and has special interests like her glass babies. In a Christmas episode Linda gets super sensory involved in the lights in the rave also she’s totally a sensory seeking autistic.

Louise has a super strong sense of justice (like in the episode she pulls a kids pants down because they were bullying pocket sized Rudy.) She literally needs to have her ears on, I love her sm.

Genes special interest is music, he has a sensory breakdown in the heavy metal laser episode even though he’s usually sensory seeking that’s why he does all the music and sounds thing.

Tina as you may know has her special interest in horses, she’s not good at social interaction, she doesn’t understand sarcasm like Tammy in an episode literally had to explain to Tina that she was being mean. She also kinda doesn’t know her lefts from rights.

Jimmy Jr.’s special interest is Dance, he doesn’t understand any clues that Tina tries putting down, and I don’t know much else to write.

Zeke’s special interest is wrestling and also he’s one of my favorite characters he’s so silly and also he’s not the best at social interaction too.

Teddy is so autistic he’s social unaware he’s so nice he hoards things under the guise of like oh I’ll fix it later I love him so much I resonate with Teddy so much he’s so me fr it’s insane. Also he doesn’t think things through his special interest is fixing things he needs to be helpful to other people or else he can’t omfg I love Teddy sm like in the episode where his family was gonna come over for thanksgiving and can’t understand the instructions bob wrote and the pictures he took I love him so so much

Oh yeah and he has that episode where he vocally stims to jazz music

Jimmy pesto might be the only neurotypical but he’s so closeted gay like so far in the back closet can’t find him behind the jackets he’s so funny I can’t tell if he’s gay for bob or for trev (Trevor?) like Jimmy has no wife and he lives with his bartender or something idk

Gayle (gale? Im not sure) is autistic. She’s not social aware I don’t know what else to say but she’s autistic

She just loves her friends enough to feel safe getting completely fucking wasted more regularly than most would dare.)

💥Tary can actually hold his liquor fairly well! Partially just a lucky genetic lottery, but also in part because drunk!Tary is not too different to normal!Tary so no one really notices. He also might have gotten into a habit of drinking at home when sad and alone, before. (Lionett wine, I bet ;3)

💥Might conflict with your HCs, but! I see Percy as a bit of a tactile drunk. Cuddly, fidgety, all the careful control of his movements starts to fray and he touches more, stims more if you're like me and HC him as on the spectrum but masking very hard. (Being a cuddly drunk is part of why he is very careful NOT to get drunk, because... well. Who knows when memories will resurface and a pleasant time will become a terribly textured hell as he Remembers and isn't composed enough to keep it at bay.)

I don't stim in any way that's really noticeable.

In the past few months I've been gradually willing myself into breaking my dermatophagia habits. I used to obsessively bite my nails and the skin around my nails in addition to picking at them. I've been doing this since I was about three and I reckon it started because my nails used to be so long that they were outright uncomfortable and I started mutilating them to get rid of that feeling (this is speculation, but I think it's what happened because the longer they are, the higher my drive to bite them).

I still relapse and bite sometimes when I zone out but I usually catch myself before I end up biting them so low that you can tell they've been bitten. My nails have come a very long way from what they looked like a few years ago and I'll admit it's definitely something I'm very self-conscious about since they were so short they bled sometimes and I got made fun of it a lot when I was in school.

Right now the longest is my left thumb. The only nails I have short (and plan to keep at their current length) are my trigger and middle fingers on my left hand for reasons. Mostly for work though—if the trigger finger is long I'm worried about bumping my rifle because she's a hair trigger and having her fire before I'm ready.

Sometimes when I'm focused on something that doesn't require my hands, I'll rub the pad of my trigger finger over the edge of my thumb nail but I only do this on my left hand and I reckon I'll stop once I get used to the feeling of having a long nail there. For the first time since I was around 5 my nail is growing away from the bed and I can feel the edge of the nail when I touch the tip of my thumb and that hasn't happened for about 17 years so it's gonna take some getting used to.

Any other stimming I have isn't noticeable as stimming and usually just passed off as Bloke Shit. I scratch the left side of my jaw when I'm nervous, I scratch the back of my neck and won't make eye contact when I'm embarrassed or flustered, I scratch my right sideburn when I'm thinking about something. If I'm really nervous because there's a lot of people around I rub my thumb over the corkscrew on my pocketknife or I go through ny keyring while it's in my vest. All of this is funny to me because I use my right hand for these things despite being left-handed.

If I'm holding a knife sometimes I'll brush the sharp edge across the pad of my right thumb when I'm thinking about something. I don't make a habit of handling knives unless I'm using them, so this only happens when someone starts talking to me or I'm whittling and start zoning out.

I chew the inside of my lip/cheeks a lot. It's worse when I'm really anxious/in a high-stress situatiation and I once had to go to hospital because I was being yelled at by a teacher and almost chewed a hole all the way through to the front. I had to get two stitches and the teacher noticed because I couldn't swallow the blood in time (I also later threw up most of that blood at hospital).

Nowadays I mostly keep the oral stimming under wraps with things people wouldn't recognise as stimming unless you know me personally. I chew jerky for ten minutes at a time until it's soft. I smoke. I suck on TicTacs. I put a toothpick between my lips and roll that back and forth. I chew on clover or kangaroo grass.

I want to make a point that these only happen around people. I chainsmoke in cities. The more people there are, the worst I am. If I'm sitting outside a pub I'm probably smoking. If I'm inside a pub I'm sitting in a corner by myself and peoplewatching. I don't sit at the bar because people can come up behind me where I can't see but if I'm having a rougher evening I'll stand with my back against the bar and spin a yarn with the bartender if I know him.

If I'm by myself I don't do any of this shit aside from rubbing my thumb nail. It only happens around people (probably because I'm antisocial and people make me very nervous).

All this is to say I don't stim in ways people notice. I probably have some stims that I've never actually realised I'm doing or noticed as stims. Some of the behaviours I've picked up from my dad who aside from PTSD is neurotypical—for example, Dad also fidgets with his keys when he's thinking about something.

I think it's less a matter of stim and possibly just me having busy hands. I always have to be doing something and it's hard for me to ever really relax. I've never successfully meditated for example and the only time I get the clearheaded effect meditation is supposed to provide is when I'm looking down a scope, so there's that. Work is prayer.

Right off the top of my head? Both the Heiwajima boys, with different presentations.

Shizu-chan struggles with emotional regulation and feels like he isn't able to connect to others. He stims when he gets worked up, usually through pacing or his muttering (killkillkillkillkill). One scene in particular comes to mind where he's literally bouncing on Celty's bike because he's so riled up. He takes things very literally, especially when justifying his own actions. He also seems to be somewhat routine oriented in that he wears the exact same outfit every day (further sentimental about it because Kasuka gifted them to him, and he gets very upset when those clothes are messed up), follows Tom around all day for work in a very predictable manner, and gets very upset when that routine is disrupted (usually by Izaya).

Meanwhile, I don't have quite as good of a grasp on Kasuka because it's been a long time since I've seen the Hollywood arc, but his flat affect and distance from others except his own brother is telling to me. Not to mention the way he expresses his care for Shizuo isn't very straightforward to most, like when he offers Shizuo milk to calm him down or gifts Shizuo his bartender uniforms to wish him luck in his new job. It's clear he cares a lot about Shizuo, but prefers to show that care in other ways than just saying so.

Kururi also strikes me as autistic, but that's pure vibes based off her typically nonverbal nature so I'll just call that a headcanon.

Could Walker and Erika also be autistic based on their hyperfixation (special interest?) in manga and anime? I guess you could argue that, but a special interest alone does not an autistic person make imo. They don't really display many characteristics beyond the manga thing, so it's more likely to me that they are just surface-level quirky otaku.
