I’ve been thinking about Welcome Home a lot (obviously), and I think, if this were a real puppet show that didn’t go off the air, I would’ve really enjoyed it as a little kid.

I’ve always taken solace in shows/other media that invite you, either as a guest or a resident, to a whole new beautiful world or neighborhood. I suppose it’s because it was always hard to feel “at home” in my own house.

So that’s what this piece is inspired off of, taking solace in the little worlds that invite you in.

Remember to nap responsibly when living with a cat, especially one that’s a face-toucher.

Just another reminder to Palette’s air-headed demeanor; she forgets about wet paint on her paws, which lead to various antics.

Usually, Wally is on top of this, but in this case, he made the mistake of dosing off while palette was in the middle of a daydream fueled painting session. And since he’s awoken from a nap, he didn’t think to wash the paint off before walking outside.

it happens frequently, so this often leads to Barnaby taking the opportunity to make any and all sorts of puns towards the face painting. Frank and Home desperately wants the habit to be contained before it gets too out of hand, but Wally’s certainly palette meant no harm. (And she doesn’t)

Note: I don’t know if Wally’s the kind to dose off or nap, but this is just for the sake of this comic.
