Invisible String [B.B]
Tumblr media
summary: hating him was easier than loving him. especially when clarke went through so much trouble to keep them away from each other. but for some reason, her attraction to him was much larger than her dignity
pairings: bellamy blake x caroline griffin (oc) a/n: the oc has no description, so feel free to imagine whoever you wish, I just write better when the main character has a name
tags: (18+) wells jaha lives, cursing, the nickname "princess" cause it's kind of cringey but fits their dynamic, SMUT; hate sex, (kinda) dom!bellamy, dirty talk, hate sex, hair pulling
Hating Bellamy Blake was almost too easy.
He was too cocky for his own good and was even worse at listening to orders than Caroline. He had been tormenting her, her sister and Wells since they landed.
But a long time has passed since their first days on Earth. The camp was functioning well and Caroline and Clarke found a way to work with Bellamy. After a kid died and Murphy was banished after being accused of killing some privileged kid, they formed a truce. Bellamy was the one leading the hunting trips and watching over the delinquents who were building the wall, Clarke was in charge of keeping the peace with the Grounders (the liberty of her having a thing with their Commander) and Caroline decided who got which job and worked with Raven to make radios and get in contact with The Ark.
She was not that thrilled about her mother coming down because, before she got arrested, she was not exactly mother of the year. Still, she felt guilty about the innocent people who were dying up there while there was a safe planet waiting for them.
Caroline let out a sigh and stood up, instantly drawing Raven’s attention to herself. She wiped her sweat off of her face with a rag and placed it down on the table, before saying, “I think that I’m done for today. I have to discuss some stuff with Bellamy.”
Raven snorted and raised an amused eyebrow, her tone taunting. “Oh, I bet. So much for staying away from him.”
The Griffin rolled her eyes at the reminder of her sister’s warning and wordlessly walked out of their work tent. Bellamy was very blunt with his flirting when they weren’t spitting insults at each other and when he wasn’t sleeping with half of the camp. Caroline was slightly annoyed and brushed it off quickly, but Clarke was down-right pissed. Her protective older sister was on and she was quick to tell Caroline how bad of an idea getting involved with Bellamy was. Her lecture was at least five minutes long but Caroline did not listen to a word that she said. She was not stupid. She knew that even flirting with Bellamy was a bad idea, but she was not planning on it. She liked to believe that she had standards.
“Hey, Princess.” Bellamy greeted her when she entered his tent without knocking. “You’re early.”
“No, you just slept in.” Caroline deadpanned while scanning his bare chest with a blank look on her face while he sat on the edge of his makeshift bed. “Some of us have been up and working for hours.”
Okay, yes, Bellamy was an asshole. But he was a hot asshole. If you asked her, she would say that the fact that he was annoying only made him more attractive. But that might just be her daddy issues talking.
He furrowed his eyebrows and asked, “Shit, is it really late?”
“Yeah, it’s almost lunch.” She shrugged and walked across his tent to grab one of his shirts. She absentmindedly threw it on him, silently telling him to get dressed. “I told Wells to let you sleep. You were keeping guard pretty late last night.”
She told herself that it was because he needed his eight hours of sleep if he was going to function properly. He was even more grumpy when he slept for only two hours.
Bellamy’s lips tugged into a grin and then fell open as he let out a dramatic gasp. “Was that you being nice?” She rolled her eyes and he was quick to add, “I’m sorry, I only ever saw you being nice to Clarke and Wells. Is it snowing outside?”
“Shut up.” Caroline muttered, her eyes involuntarily flickering toward his hands. “Just get dressed. We have work to do.”
He grabbed the blue shirt that she gave him but made no move to put it on. He simply raised a knowing eyebrow. “Are you sure that you want me to do that? You don’t want to keep checking me out?”
Caroline felt heat rushing to her face. Her mouth opened and closed a couple of times, but no words came out and she was desperately trying to find something to say. A couple of seconds later, she simply blurted out, “Don’t flatter yourself. You’re not that good looking.”
His smirk only grew. “Oh, so I’m not that good looking?” He stepped closer and she wished that the ground would swallow her whole. “I knew you liked me, Princess.”
“You wish,” She shot back, but made no move to step away from him. His scent was intoxicating and she could not look away from his face. His dark eyes were flickering between her eyes and her lips and she swore that they only got darker when her breath hitched.
Bellamy lifted his hand to brush some of her hair away from the face and he licked his lips, an action that only made her stare at his lips longer. He pushed his face closer to her own and just as he was about to lock their lips together, Wells’ voice rang through the air.
“Bellamy, did you take my─” He cut himself off when he looked up from the ground to see his best friend standing inappropriately close to the guy that she hated for months. His eyebrows shot up in surprise and he silently looked back and forth between the two of them for a couple of moments. He swallowed and awkwardly croaked out, “I’ll come back later. Or never. Probably never.”
Caroline watched the place he was standing at a couple of seconds ago in shock. She quickly stepped away from Bellamy and cleared her throat. “Get dressed and meet me in the map tent.”
Bellamy watched her leave the tent in a rush and chuckled to himself the second she left.
-
Caroline wished that they could simply work in silence, each on their own side of the tent. After what happened earlier that morning, the last thing that she needed was to spent the next couple of hours before lunch with Bellamy. Especially because he seemed completely unfazed. If anything, his amusement only grew every time he would catch her staring at him which would lead to her having to look away or narrow her eyes into a glare to seem annoyed rather than flustered.
He saw right through her. That might be the reason why she hated him so much. She had always tried to keep her walls up as high as possible because she was afraid of letting people in. But Bellamy could read her like an open book.
“We should move Jasper from the gate and get Miller there.” Caroline suggested as she leaned over the map of their camp. “I love him to death but he runs at the first sight of danger. There is no one better than Miller. I trust him to stay there more than anyone.”
Bellamy surprised her by shaking his head. Her eyebrows furrowed. Was Miller not his best friend? “Guarding the gate is a big responsibility, yes, but it’s also dangerous. The guards there are usually the first to go. We have to put someone disposable there.”
Caroline let out a humorless laugh and looked at him in disbelief. “Are you kidding me? No one in this camp is disposable. We put the most competent person there, no matter how much either one of us cares about him.”
The Blake shrugged. “I don’t know if losing him is worth it.”
“And losing someone else is?” She retorted and stepped away from the table and scoffed. “I cannot believe you. You talk shit about The Ark, Jaha and the privileged for sending us here and labeling us as disposable but you are not any different. For some reason, those kids out there trust you but you are willing to sacrifice any of them if it means saving your ass and the two people you care about.”
Bellamy clenched his jaw, his eyes flashing with anger the second that she compared him to the monsters that killed his mother and locked up his sister. He stepped closer to her and glared down at her. “Stop pretending that you know me, Princess. You can’t psychoanalyze everyone in your life just because of one decision they make.”
Caroline glared back at him, not intimidated. “And you can judge people based on who their parents are? That’s ironic. I would not be surprised if you were planning to tell me that I should guard the gate since you clearly hate me so much. Putting me there is the easiest way to get rid of me, right?”
“Maybe I do hate you?” His words made her falter in surprise. “How can I not? You always have something to say about every decision I make. You take every opportunity to argue with me. Whenever I think that we are starting to see eye to eye, you do another thing to drive me crazy. And I hate myself for it a lot more than I hate you because despite you being everything that I’m against I still…” Bellamy did not finish his sentence and simply stared at the clueless look on her face. After a couple of seconds of silence, he muttered, “Fuck it.”
Caroline stumbled back in surprise which led to her sitting on the desk. Before she got the chance to kiss him back, he pulled away. His breath fanned across her lips and he stared at her, trying to find any hint of disgust or hesitance. He did not find any. But this time, she was the one that kissed him. She gripped his shirt to keep him closer while one of his hands tangled in her hair. Her breath hitched when he used his grip on her cair to pull her head down in order to reveal her neck. He did not think twice before he messily started placing open-mouthed kisses over her exposed collar bone.
She moaned and spread her legs so he could comfortably stand between them. His other hand found her waist and she ran her fingers through his hair, pulling on his curls lightly to spur him on. He pushed down her shirt to reveal her bra so he could keep sucking hickies down to her breats. The hand on her waist squeezed it and he paused, squeezing his eyes shut to get it together.
“Did you─ did you ever have sex?” Bellamy asked, his dark eyes practically piercing through her soul.
Caroline’s eyes almost softened at the genuine worry in his voice. He was grounded enough to ask the eighteen year old, who spent the last six years of her life locked up, if she was a virgin or not. Luckily, after Clarke broke Wells’ heart, she was more than fine with being his rebound to keep her mind off of other things.
She rapidly nodded, tugging at his shirt so he could get back to what he was doing before.
“Words, Caroline,”
Caroline. Not Princess or Baby Griffin. Just Caroline.
“Yes.” She breathed out. “I had sex before. Now stop being so uncharacteristically considerate and kiss me.”
Bellamy did not need to be told twice. He leaned back down to kiss her and her hands quickly found their way around his neck to pull him closer to her despite them already being chest-to-chest. His tongue slipped into her mouth and easily won the short battle for dominance.
Caroline placed her hands on his chest to push him away. He gave her a confused look which disappeared when she pulled her shirt over her head. He smirked and then copied her actions, exposing his chest. This time, she shamelessly checked him out.
Bellamy was pleasantly surprised when she reached down to pull his pants down along with his underwear. Her hand wrapped around his dick and started to slowly move her hand up and down, almost as if she was teasing him. He let out a low groan and leaned his hands on either side of her. He rested his forehead against hers and kept his eyes on her as she jerked him off.
“Fuck, Princess.” He cursed, his breath hitching. He was ashamed of how close he was just from her jerking him off.
He pulled her hand away and just as she was about to ask him what he was doing, he pulled her off of the desk in order to pull her hands down. He wrapped his arms around her thighs to place her back on the table and she gasped in surprise when his fingers slipped between her legs. His fingers teased her opening until she was whining into his mouth.
“Don’t tease.”
He chuckled and dipped one of his fingers inside of her. “Patience.”
She did not argue and simply leaned back, letting him pump his fingers in and out of her while he rubbed her clit. She moaned his name lowly, aware that if they were too loud, the others outside could hear them. Bellamy almost moaned at the sight of the girl squirming and trying her hardest to stay quiet on the table. The girl who never kept her mouth shut and was a force to be reckoned with was completely at his mercy.
Before Caroline could finish, he pulled his hand away. She panted and gave him a weak glare. “You’re a dick,”
“I didn’t hear you arguing when you were moaning my name.” He shot back and cupped her ass to bring their bodies closer together. He wrapped one of his hands around his dick and slid inside of her. He let out a deep groan and she let out a high pitchen moan due to his lack of patience. Bellamy placed one of his hands over her mouth and whispered, “Be quiet for me, Princess. You don’t want the rest of the camp to hear how much you hate me, do you?”
She shook her head and her eyes rolled to the back of her head when he pulled out and roughly pushed back inside her. He was no better than her. He was cursing and groaning as she rolled her hips back into his own.
They spent a couple of minutes like that, soaking in pleasure and the thrill that they got from the fact that anyone could walk into the tent at any minute. “I’m close.” He muttered and used the hand that was not covering her mouth to rub her clit in order to get her closer to the edge.
Caroline’s nails dug into his shoulders and the moaned against his hand, almost reaching her peak. He groaned at the pain and only snapped his hips against her faster. Her vision blurred and her eyes squeezed shut when she finally fell over the edge and came around him. Her walls squeezing him like a vice was what pushed him over the edge and he was quick to pull out and finish on her stomach.
Caroline panted and leaned her forehead against his chest when his hand fell from her mouth.
"So much for hating me, huh, Princess?"
She groaned. "Clarke is gonna kill me."

jealousy jealousy
the 100 [ john murphy x reader ]
Tumblr media
type: ig angst but it’s not well written enough to ‘hit’
tropes: jealousy, roommates, unspoken but accepted love, best friends to lovers
warnings: violence ( knife fight ), mentions of murder
in which wells jaha is getting help by the only person willing to be around him, who just so happens to john murphy’s unofficial girlfriend, who then has to deal with his idiotic jealousy.
a/n: hii, i’m back! this is based on a request i really really liked but i’m not happy with what i actually wrote so i hope it’s okay to read. i kinda ignored how much of a psychopath murphy was in the first season cause i really couldn’t have justified his actions otherwise and the whole jealousy part wouldn’t have been entertaining AT ALL. so yea, i was struggling a bit ( whilst also blatantly ignoring the timeline, ignore anything that doesn’t match the canon timeline of s1 pls ), but at least i tried right🫣 no pronouns
w.c.: 2040
yours and murphy's relationship was a rather unclear, but at the same time simple one. you weren't officially dating, but during your time on the ark, when you were locked up in your shared cell, where you also met, you definitely did some inappropriate stuff; stuff that friends don't do.
your cell was also the place where the two of you bonded, becoming really really close rather quickly. although he was a very aggressive and irritating person to be around at first, you got used to it and soon he became your favourite person to be around.
now, after months of being roommates and part time lovers, you were finally on the ground, something you'd dreamed of since you first learned about it and therefore were keen on securing your survival. murphy on the other hand, got so bad that even you couldn't deny the fact he was a total asshole and if you didn't know he would never hurt you, you'd be way too scared to share a tent with him, especially alone.
you didn't actively distance yourself but after watching him bully wells, the chancellor's son, countless times for his father's actions, you kind of naturally looked for ways to make some new friends. and as if the universe hated john murphy, you seemed to work really well with wells.
everytime murphy saw you talk or walk around with wells, which honestly happened quite a lot, it fueled his hatred against home even more and made him want to stay away from you too.
you didn't mind not being associated with the provocative behaviour of john murphy and the way he tyrannized the other delinquents, however, it was a very different story when it came to going to bed and waiting for him until you physically couldn't keep your eyes open any longer, leading to you and him barely ever meeting and getting a chance to talk, despite sharing a tent.
yes, murphy was an asshole, that was totally not up for debate, BUT he was also the cell mate you had for the past few months; one who you loved deeply.
you were sitting by the dropship, wells next to you, watching your hands closely.
"see, it's really important that you wrap everything tightly, like super tight, since you don't want your arrow to fall apart in the air, alright?", you explained and made sure he understood. you were teaching him how to make an arrow from scratch and although you weren't an earth skills expert, you definitely knew more than wells, who didn't get the chance to attend earth skills class back on the ark. and you could probably count the people who at least tolerated wells on one hand, you included.
"okay and, sorry", he paused, scrunching his nose and forehead as he stared at the arrow-to-be in front of him, "how do i make sure the tip is sharp and everything? i just don't get it, sorry. i don't wanna waste your time y/n.”
you smiled, appreciating his consideration, but clearly declining his indirect offer for you to do something else. there wasn't anything else for you to do and he also wasn't wasting your time, he was just learning and you really liked teaching him; it helped you understand better as well.
"wells, c'mon. i'm choosing to be here, you didn't force me and i don't think it would be okay to produce less arrows, that literally get us food, just cause i'm bored of you", you said, smiling at him, "not.. not that i am bored of you, but you know what i mean!"
he grinned before nodding. honestly, there wasn't anything wrong with wells at all and you truly didn't understand how your fellow delinquents could treat him they way they did. especially murphy.
speaking of the devil, murphy was brutally staring at you and oh boy was he jealous.
he didn’t want to approach you, as he was lowkey trying to avoid starting anything right in front of you, let alone with you. he wasn’t blind and therefore noticed how much more distant you and him were ever since arriving on earth so he was trying to avoid any additional conflicts between you.
when you looked up, your eyes meeting his for a quick moment, leading to you sending a small smile his way, he almost forgot about all his anger and jealousy towards wells. that was until you looked back at the boy in front of you and started smiling hard at the almost perfect arrow he had just put together.
murphy was gonna make wells pay, hard. he just had to catch him away from you, something that was way harder to arrange than he’d like it to be.
“don’t you see you can’t control this?!”, wells voice echoed through the woods as you nervously made your way back. you were wandering around outside of camp, always keeping close to the dropship as you knew you could get los easily. the initial reason you decided to turn around was the cheering delinquents and something inside of you just had you thinking that murphy must have had something to do with it.
“wait”, you heard bellamy yell, making the noise die down for a moment. it calmed your nerves as you were standing at the back of the group, trying to be as tall as possible to see what was going on. “fair fight”, bellamy said before you could hear something metallic fall to the ground.
anxiety increasing again, you tried to push yourself through the delinquents that were proudly chanting for murder meanwhile you had to pray for a miracle; one that ensured that murphy wasn’t part of this.
“this is for my father”, you could make out murphy’s voice fairly quickly right as you were able to watch him attack wells with a knife. a gasp escaped your throat when wells defended himself with ease, pushing murphy to the ground and holding a knife to his throat.
“stop it! are you insane?!”, your feet were moving before you could think about your actions, bringing you right where wells and murphy were standing.
wells dropped his hand. murphy looked at you with fear and regret. he didn’t regret attacking wells, but he didn’t want you to see him like this. however, one had to admit that he hadn’t been trying very hard.
“y/n..”
“no, shut up john. i am so beyond done with your shit. yours too!”, you pointed a finger at bellamy who just rolled his eyes at your tone.
“if this is who you want to be, fine. go ahead and be a dickhead, john. you disgust me”, you mumbled angry words right into his face before storming off.
despite it being really challenging, you decided to ignore murphy for now. you couldn’t believe that he would do something as reckless as getting into a knife fight with wells! of course wells wasn’t innocent either, but it was clear who the aggressor must have been, even without having been there the entire time.
it was kind of embarrassing that you couldn’t even deny the high possible of john murphy, the boy you had lowkey caught feelings for, murdering an innocent boy for fun.
truly messed up, making murphy more and more deserving of the silent treatment you were giving him. at first he had stayed away from you until you didn’t even come to the tent at night, secretly having had asked a girl named harper to stay in hers.
so when you kept ignoring murphy the day after the incident, it angered him so much that he immediately stormed into your tent when he watched you enter it from afar.
“what the fuck y/n”, he said, his voice laced with irritation as he stared at you. his blue eyes piercing yours.
despite being intimidated, you stayed stubborn and didn’t give him any attention. he hadn’t deserved it yet.
“oh i see, you’re ignoring me? are you being serious? for what, scaring the chancellor’s son a bit? you know damn well i wouldn’t have done anything”, he said, rolling his eyes and waited for a reaction. this time you looked at him critically before ignoring him again.
“wait, you do know that, right?”, murphy’s voice softened a bit. he moved so that he could observe not only your body language, but also your eyes. this made you lower your gaze.
soon after, you felt two hands touching your skin. they were cold but the touch was warm, hot even. murphy moved your face so that you were looking at him and he immediately noticed your worried expression. he instantly understood that you actually didn’t know that he wasn’t a cold hearted killer.
“y/n, i wouldn’t have killed him, i swear. yes, i harmed him and i did that on purpose, i’ll be fully honest here, but i was just angry at him”, he explained himself calmly now.
you removed his hands from your face before getting up from the bed you had previously sat on. “what do you mean angry, john? what did wells do to you? you’ve been treating him like absolute shit, are you kidding me, i don’t get it”, you said. you wanted to yell at him but you also tried to hold onto the tiniest bit of privacy you had behind the ‘walls’ of your tent.
murphy slightly rolled his eyes and shook his head, then sat down on the bed and took off his shoes.
he is trying to escape the conversation!
it annoyed you that he had the audacity to ignore your question after everything he had done up until this point.
“what is WRONG with you, john. talk to me already!”, this time, he basically had you begging. again, unbelievable.
he tried to let as much time pass as possible before linking his hands, putting his arms behind his head and looking up. he sighed and licked his lips, trying to find the right words. “i was.. kinda jealous.”
you couldn’t help but stare at him and ultimately break out in laughter. this was absolutely pathetic.
“you were gonna kill someone out of jealousy? are you INSANE MURPHY?!”, you didn’t even try to keep your voice down, he deserved this.
“y/n, i know that it was wrong alright. but i already told you that i wouldn’t have killed him”, murphy was annoyed and you could clearly hear it in his voice. he however, could clearly see that you weren’t just going to let him disrespect you like that. he sighed again.
“do you want me to apologize?”, he asked quietly, his voice barely louder than a whisper. murphy moved his head so that he could look at you and when a slight grin appeared on your face, he let himself fall back into the sleeping bag.
of course you’d want him to apologize.
“yea, to wells”, you said, ruining his mood entirely.
“WHAT?! you gotta be insane. do you know how embarass”, your expression made him halt in the middle of the sentence, the stubbornness you radiated even caused him to groan. “okay.” you truly had him wrapped around your finger.
“good, john”, you said and walked over to him. “y’know what, this is an amazing sign for you to be better in general because from what i’ve noticed, you’ve been pure hell for most people in this camp”, you admitted, knowing he wouldn’t be mad at you for your honesty.
this, once again, caused murphy to roll his eyes at you. he shook his head slightly, not wanting to talk about his own behaviour anymore, he held one arm out to you, inviting you into the bed with him.
you hesitated for a short second, but quickly got down next to him.
“ugh come here”, murphy said and pulled you into his side.
sharing a bed or cuddling wasn’t a new thing to you two, but it made your heart jump, in a very very good way, everytime it happened.
you repositioned your head until you found a position comfortable enough to stay in and took a long breathe in.
after a moment of silence you began giggling.
“so, jealous huh?”

[SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED THE 100]
has anyone else noticed that everyone lost their first "love" (quotation cause some of the following relationships had shitty development)
Abby lost Jake
Octavia lost Atom
Clarke and Raven lost Finn
Jasper lost Maya
Bellamy lost Gina
Lexa lost Costia (assuming she was her lover, don't remember if it was specified)
Luna lost Derrick (I think that was his name and assuming he was her first love for purposes)
Miller lost Bryan
Monty lost Harper
Jordan lost Priya
Gabriel lost Josephine
Echo lost Bellamy (or the real Echo, maybe. either way)
Everyone except Murphy (and well Jackson but eh). (okay technically she did die but he brought her so it doesn't really count) Like they fucked up his whole psyche, but they didn't take Emori. Why is he the only one who got any mercy?
Like they were merciless with everyone. Clarke lost all of her lovers in some way (Niylah betrayed her), both her parents, her best friend TWICE, and her daughter (not even to mention all the shit she went through to survive/save her people and all the hate she got for it, you don't gotta like the character just respect her ruthlessness). They made Bellamy a sheep (multiple times *cough* fucking Pike *cough*) and made his whole death pointless cause he was right and Madi gave herself up like immediately after (so fucking mad you don't even know). Raven lost her childhood best friend/lover after he cheated on her (her childhood for fucks sake), her leg, ALIE (that was bad in general but damn), had to stop her own heart to survive, and then Shaw. Jasper went through it before he took himself out. Monty was hated by his best friend (just the Mount Weather incident), forced to kill his mom twice, watched his best friend die, sent his son into danger, watched Harper die, and never saw anyone he loved again (hell, whether he died of old age or not is still up in the air, they never found a body). They threw sweet Jordan into a horror show by the scruff of his neck. Echo had a childhood for sure. Gabriel had lifetimes of fuckery. The fucking disservice to Lexa (and Lincoln) by having her be shot. Luna killed her own brother and lover then watched her entire clan die. Miller lost his dad and was in the bunker... Abby got her husband killed, the bunker, Kane, and then was just erased (POOF bye bitch👋 wtf). And Octavia (need I say more? I will tho). Raised under the floor, imprisoned for being born, mom dead, dad who?, Atom, Lincoln, Ilian, you are Wonkru or you are the enemy of Wonkru, cannibalism, watched her first kinda child die (Ethan), banished by her own brother, lost time with Hope, and lost Diyoza.
And Murphy went through it too. Like BADLY but he never had to live without Emori.
This post is nothing. I just think that's beautiful.

Wells broke into a run and reached them just as Bellamy fell to his knees. His face was bright red and his breath came in ragged gasps, but he held on to Clarke long enough to pass her into Wells's outstretched arms.

warnings: none
a/n: omg!! im sooo sorry for not posting. these last few months have been so hectic for me. im going to write a few fics to hold down for a few days. i will try my hardest to get to requests. reblogs and likes appreciated.
Tumblr media
you were one of the 100, being the unofficial official second in command behind clarke
you were a fighter, taught by trikru
at first you thought bellamy was a total ass, screwing things up for everybody because he was scared of jaha coming down to earth
you two argued all the time, challenging each others authorities
you never saw eye to eye but that all changed when he finally starting acting like a good person
you two got closer due to you both helping clarke make decisions for the group
going on hunting parties or scavenge missions together and talking about everything
him opening up to you about his mother, how she taught him about greek mythology and how much he cares about octavia
spending time together in arkadia even when your not doing anything
it took awhile for you to confess to each other since your both so stubborn
you had taken a horse without telling anyone, trying to blow off some steam when warriors from azgeda attacked you
when bellamy saw you walking back into arkadia bleeding and wounded he almost lost his mind
"you could've been killed! how could you be so stupid"
"your not the boss of me, i can handle myself, why do you even care."
"because i love you!"
or something like that, really out of the blue and in the heat of the moment
you two had your first kiss that night
cleaning each others wounds after battles
him always having his eye on you because hes scared to lose you
would literally die to protect you
protective and sometimes overbearing to the point you have to remind him you're a warrior
practicing combat together, always joking around while doing so
100% the jealous type always giving dudes side eyes when they look at you for too long
checking up on each other too see how the others doing mentally since something stressful is always going on
you admiring how adamant he is on making things right and being a good person

the 100 [ bellamy blake x reader ]
Tumblr media
type : angsty, maybe a bit fluffy?
tropes: forced proximity, best friends to lovers
warnings: mentions of anxiety, heavy language, lowkey manipulative bellamy
in which bellamy blake and reader used to date but when he spiraled after octavia was arrested and his life fell apart, he distanced himself from her. after he begs her to trust him blindly and she does, they have to figure out their relationship on earth as neither of them is able to let it go.
a/n: hii, this is my first piece of writing in a loooong long time but i’m really enjoying the 100 again and i’ve noticed a severe lack of bellamy content on here, so i hope you like it! i don’t think i used any pronouns but i did use the term “girl” multiple times to describe reader! w.c.: 4.831
after octavia was discovered, he lost his job and his mum was floated, bellamy fell into a terrifying rabbit hole of depression. he lost himself with everything else in his life and instead of holding on to you, he wanted you to do better than him; so he ignored you. of course it made everything worse than it already was but it helped to tell himself he was actually saving you, despite seeing you fall apart piece by piece for months. he knew you'd get it together at some point, you had a great life going for you and he didn't want to risk you losing it at anytime soon, especially not because of him.
so when commander shumway approached bellamy and asked him to assassinate chancellor jaha in return of being able to go to earth with his sister and he said yes with barely any hesitation, he couldn't help but think about you, the girl he was so deeply in love with.
so now, bellamy was close to sprinting across the hall, giving his all to reach your door as fast as he could. he was going to earth, he had already shot the chancellor, but he couldn't leave you behind, no matter how hard he tried, not even after all those months of breaking your heart.
but just because he broke your heart that didn't mean he didn't love you the entire time.
you had taken the day off of guard duty, not feeling well as your three year anniversary with bellamy was approaching or, well, it would've if he hadn't abandoned you a few months ago.
although you tried your hardest to get it together, especially because you didn't want to risk your job as a guard on the ark, you couldn't just forget about bellamy. you had never loved anyone like him and no one had ever hurt you like he had.
there was aggressive knocking on the door, startling you immediately. you sighed frustratedly, there was no one who'd have time, or even want to, visit you in the middle of the day. especially not that desperately, since whoever was disturbing your peace got more and more aggressive with each knock.
you opened the door and before you could say anything, you were pushed into your room by a strong, all too familiar man. not being able to comprehend, you simply stared at the tan man in front of you, admiring his freckled face you had missed so much.
"bellamy? wha-", he cut you off, shaking his head frantically.
"look, y/n, this has gotta be really weird for you right now, but we have to leave. like, now. you have to come with me, okay?", although he was clearly stressed, there was a softness to be noticed in his voice that you knew all too well. you also recognized that he wasn't exactly asking you to come with him, he was telling you to.
"bellamy, what do you mean? you can't just come here and, and.. bellamy i don't understand! why are you wearing a guard’s uniform?", you rambled, looking at him more than desperate for answers. you knew that you would follow him anywhere but you didn't want to. you shouldn't after what he did to you.
he sighed, looking around nervously before taking a deep breath in and putting his hands on your cheeks. he held your face in his hands, pulling you a bit closer to him as he looked into your eyes.
"y/n, i beg you, you have to trust me, okay? i know i haven't been the best.. the best to you but if there's one thing you can do for me, even if it's the last time you ever help me out again, i need it to be today, right now", he noticed your big eyes, only now realizing that this might not work out and it scared him, terrified him even. "y/n..y/n, baby please. i'm begging you, begging. we don't have time, we need to go, please trust me, please y/n!"
"okay, bell."
you could tell how much this relieved him immediately and right as a little smile started showing, he pulled you out of your room, swiftly grabbing your necklace you always kept next to your keys and dragged you through the ark. it felt like you were running through the entire space station and when you finally slowed down, bellamy didn't give you a single second to ask questions.
he just motioned to you to be silent as he carefully pushed you towards something you recognized to be a dropship. your eyes widened in panic, what the hell was going on here.
"bellamy, serious-", he simply covered your mouth and shoved you into the dropship before closing the door. as panic overtook you and your breathing got heavier, your perception lessened. without bellamy pushing you around and doing whatever you needed to do for you, you wouldn't have gotten anything done.
you were clearly having a panic attack and while it hurt bellamy to not be able to help you get through right now, he had to prioritize your safety during the travel to earth and before you knew it, you passed out.
{ ~* }
you felt soft taps on your shoulder as you slowly regained consciousness. slowly raising your head before finally opening your eyes and looking around. you were still in the dropship but you were all by yourself, no sight of bellamy. of course.
the person who'd been trying to wake you was a boy you recognized as wells jaha, the chancellor's son. he looked at you, relief basically written all over him as you finally reacted to his attempts of waking you up. "i'm so glad you're awake, i almost thought you wouldn't wake up again. wait, let me help you out."
he started to unbuckle you, holding you up as you were still a bit weak from your intense panic attack. he could tell how confused you were immediately.
"i'm wells, you're a guard, right? why'd they send you to earth with us?", wells questioned as your eyes widened.
"earth?!", you repeated immediately, not believing what you heard and completely ignoring his question. you couldn't be on earth, it wasn't even going to be habitable for the next three generations so how could you be on earth now, alive?!
wells didn't really know how to react, he had expected you to know but you were just as, probably even more clueless than the delinquents. he decided not to engage in any more conversation, respecting your space as he figured you'd want some time to cope, as well as recovering from whatever made you pass out.
you were thankful for being left alone, slowly standing up and once you felt stable enough to walk to the hatch, you followed the ladder down. immediately you were met with the most beautiful sight you've ever seen.
tall trees, their roots covered in beautiful, bright green plants and, of course, many people all around the area.
you didn't care about them though, the only person you wanted to find was bellamy, he had to explain himself. what was he thinking, taking you to earth without even telling you?!
luckily, it didn't take you long to find him. he was talking to a girl much shorter than him; she had dark brown hair and bright blue eyes and although you hadn't seen her that well the last time, the day she was arrested, you were certain it was bellamy's little sister octavia.
you walked over to them, careful not to overestimate your strength yet and once bellamy noticed you, he got tense immediately.
"y/n, how are you?", he spoke up, seemingly interrupting octavia who simply looked at you curiously. while she had never really met you, she knew so much about you. everytime bellamy told her a story to fall asleep to, it was always about princess y/n and once she got older, he finally revealed that you were actually his girlfriend. she loved what she'd heard so far but she decided to lay low, not wanting to interrupt the two of you.
"i'm good. bellamy, what the fuck is going on, are we really on earth? you have to-", he sighed loudly before cutting you off. "i'm glad you're feeling good. you shouldn't stress yourself too much, you're probably still a bit weak, okay? enjoy earth."
the usual softness in his voice was all gone, leaving nothing, but unfamiliar coldness as he walked off. what the fuck was his problem.
"i should've known that he'd leave me again, why did i fucking come", you mumbled angrily. you really had every right to be angry at bellamy, but if you were being honest, you were probably way more disappointed than angered by the man who once loved you as much as you love him.
octavia looked at you confusedly, not being able to follow at all. "what do you mean again, you're y/n, his girlfriend y/n right?"
"i don't even know what i am to him anymore", you answered, feeling tears shoot up to your eyes. no, you couldn't cry about him anymore, you had wasted too many tears on his egoistic ass.
octavia's eyes softened, similarly to how bellamy's used to. she walked up to you and hugged you carefully, not wanting to disrespect your personal space beyond your liking. you hugged her back, appreciating her sympathy a lot and although you kinda didn't want to spend time with bellamy's younger sister, you didn't want to punish her for something out of her power. she had dealt with that too much already.
"my brother can be a real ass sometimes but he'll get over it, i think i know how much he loves you", she spoke softly, smiling at you. you smiled back at her but realized that she really had no clue how over the two of you were.
{ ~* }
days on days passed and not a single interaction between bellamy and you happened. you wanted to talk to him so desperately but whenever you approached him, he'd find a way to get away from you as soon as possible. it felt like you were back on the ark, trying to understand why your boyfriend of two years was suddenly ignoring and avoiding you.
you wanted to fight for his attention, you really tried to but when he set up a knife fight between john murphy and wells, you figured that you had to say goodbye to the idea of ever getting anything positive out of a conversation with him. the bellamy you once loved was probably gone for good and whatever egoistic, violent leader he had become now, was no one you wanted around you.
this time, you really had to get over him.
it honestly made you sick to watch him act like the born leader of the delinquents and it was almost worse to see them follow him blindly. he was leading them to do horrible things, he was clearly motivating their aggression and allowed them all to be terrible to each other.
of course you were angry, but it also confused you a lot. bellamy really terrified you, he was going down a path you couldn't follow and he wasn't anything like he used to be back in the ark, back when he was still your bellamy.
he used to be sweet, loving and caring but now it was so obvious that he was using the 100 delinquents to reach his own goal, you just couldn't figure out what goal that could be. another thing you were pretty confused about, was the fact he took you with him. when he begged you to come with him, he was so different. it almost felt like he loved you again, you were embarrassed to admit that you thought things would get better now, that everything would be like it was back then and you knew that you deserved better, no one, not even john murphy deserved to be treated like bellamy had treated you that past year. still, you just couldn't let him go, so you decided it was time for some distraction.
while you really enjoyed spending time with clarke, learning a bit from her medical knowledge, as well as simply making a new friend, you needed more. literally, you had no one besides bellamy, octavia and clarke and you didn't actually have any of them. you needed to make friends.
deciding to go against bellamy's orders to stay with clarke, something he hadn't told you personally, instead sending one of his little minions your way, you left the drop ship in search for something else to do. you weren't gonna let him tell you what to do, not if he didn't even have the balls to talk to you himself.
right as you left the dropship, you immediately spotted a tall boy with funny googles on his head walking towards one of the gates and decided to approach him. you remembered his name, joshua, or jasper.
"hey jasper", you smiled at him and he immediately smiled back. "hey y/n, i'm just heading out for the hunt."
you raised your eyebrow. hunt? that was perfect for you. not only did you ace pike's earth skills class, but you were also a trained guard. of all the people in your camp, it was safe to assume that you'd be the best at it.
"can i come too? i think i'd be a lot of help", you spoke nicely and without even thinking about it, jasper nodded. his smile grew as he was more than willing to spend some more time with you.
"i'm sure bellamy won't mind", he said and although you really didn't want to be around bellamy for once, it upset you even more that he couldn't even ask you to go with them. he knew just as well as you did that they needed you and that you were the best shot they had, probably even better than him since you actually finished your guard training.
you followed jasper out of the walls, stopping right outside as you joined the rest of the hunting trip. there were about seven unknown faces and of course bellamy’s. as soon as he saw you, he tensed up, leaving you to sigh annoyingly and roll your eyes.
"y/n get back inside the walls, it's not safe outside", he said, voice stern, motioning for you to turn around and go. you immediately shook your head.
"i'm gonna come with you guys, i'm literally your best shot and you won't even notice me, i'll be with jasper the entire time", you complained. he knew you wouldn't change your mind but he wouldn't risk your safety. bellamy trusted jasper but not with you, he trusted no one when it came to you. no one, not even yourself, would protect you as well as he would and although he had been avoiding you for days now, expecting to keep going until he knew you'd gotten over him completely, he had to be the one going with you.
"yea no, you're either coming with me or not at all, y/n. this is your first time outside the walls and i wanna make sure you find your way back home, alright?! however, if you don't want to go with me that's fine. stay back and help clarke then. got it?!", he was convinced he'd make you change your mind.
"fuck you, bellamy. really, let's just go already", you were angry. he was treating you like a complete stranger and you actually felt a bit embarrassed in front of the other people. what was he thinking talking to you like that in front of so many of the others, it was unnecessary.
he was caught by surprise by your response, less because of your words, but way more because you actually chose to come with them. he was so sure you would never want to be alone with him after all he had done but this just proved that it wasn't enough yet.
he should've known better than to expect you to just stop loving him that easily. hell, how could you get over him, if he couldn't even go a single hour without thinking about you.
"okay then", bellamy said before everyone split up and went into different directions. you followed him, making sure you stayed behind.
"you know damn well that i'd be a great help. should've gotten your shit together and asked me", you mumbled and although he heard what you said, he decided not to respond.
you two were walking for a pretty long time, killing some birds on your way. obviously that wouldn't be enough for the entire camp to eat so you kept going. there wasn't much talking done either, you were able to work together without speaking, you had always been able to.
of course it was awkward, but it went fine until a loud sound rang through the woods. bellamy turned to you immediately, eyes wide as he grabbed your wrist and started running. despite having never left the camp, you knew that this was an alarm to warn about the yellow fog that was incredibly toxic and even deadly.
the two of you ran as fast as you could until bellamy noticed something in the ground that looked like a door to a bunker. he immediately pushed you in front of him and told you to go in, following closely as he rushed to close the door before the fog could get you. bellamy turned on his flashlight while your breath was shaky as you put a hand up to your heart. your athleticism wasn't an issue, your anxiety however was.
"y/n, are you okay?", bellamy asked softly as approached you, reaching for your shoulder but before he could touch you, you backed away.
"bellamy stop, stop doing this", he looked at you with a questioning expression on his face. "you know what i mean."
he simply shook his head, lowering it before quietly saying "i'm sorry, y/n, but i really don't. i just wanna make sure you're okay."
you huffed, did he even believe his own words? you were annoyed by his obliviousness and slid down the wall, he did the same oppositely from you.
neither of you said anything for some time but with every minute that passed, you feared that he would leave the bunker at the first chance he'd get, ruining your only opportunity to have the conversation you've been wanting to have for almost a year now.
"look, bellamy.. i just don't understand how you could do what you did. you're confusing me", you explained quietly, not wanting to look at him yet.
"i know, i don't understand either", he spoke back and as your eyes met, you could tell he wasn't lying. "i was angry, angry at everyone, even you. and i know that it wasn't fair, i wasn't treating you how i should have but when i lost everything, i was ashamed. you deserved better than that and i knew you wouldn't just let me go."
"literally what were you thinking?!  i was with you through any hardships you ever had to go through. what made you assume id just leave you, what made you think that after two years with you, i'd just abandon you. what for?! having a sister? i'm not the fucking council, you should know me better than that", you were angry but you didn't want to yell at him, you wanted this to work.
he sighed, he didn't know what to tell you. of course you were right, he fully agreed but what good would him agreeing do?
"talk to me, bellamy", you basically begged.
"i'm sorry, y/n. i have never regretted anything as much as breaking your heart. you were on my mind every single day", he said truthfully, not being able to look into your eyes as he spoke until he lifted his head. "if i could turn back time, i would. i am so sorry for ruining what we had."
you stared into his eyes, giving yourself time to think about what he just told you. you'd do anything to go back to how things were, you missed bellamy so much.
"me too", you then admitted. "you know, it would've been our three year anniversary a few days ago", you said and laughed slightly. bellamy smiled at you, oh how he had missed your laugh.
"i know", he said and reached into his pocket. "i didn't get you anything new and i know that i can't just regift something i already gave you years ago but i grabbed this when i asked you to come with me and i just.. didn't have time to give it to you yet."
you listened curiously, watching him pull out a silver necklace he once gave you. your mouth and eyes widened in excitement, it was your favourite piece of jewelry ever since you'd gotten it, but when you realized you didn't have it on you, you were sure you'd never see it again and it made you incredibly sad.
"oh my god, you took it with you? thank you so much, bellamy! i was missing it already", you admitted, excitement lacing your voice. he smiled again and handed you your necklace you put on immediately.
you smiled down at yourself, carefully grabbing the star charm.
"i missed seeing you like this, you are so beautiful, y/n", bellamy spoke quietly, you simply halted in your movement. your eyebrows were raised slightly as you looked at him, what was he doing?
"y/n, i know that i don't deserve your forgiveness, fuck, i don't even deserve you! but please, i'm begging you to forgive me for what i did. i don't expect it to be easy, but-"
"why did you ask me to come with you, bell?", you interrupted him. it took him a second before he chuckled and looked to the side, then focusing on you again.
"i spent so many months ignoring you, thinking i was making things so much better when i actually ruined us. i already told you that i thought about you every single day and i knew i wouldn't survive to go down here without you", he explained. "i know that it was incredibly selfish of me to bring you here and at first i didn't want to because i didn't want to expose you to all these dangers earth might bring. i wanted you to do better than me, that's why i distanced myself from you, but i was a fool to think this would work. the hold you have on me and my life is actually insane, y/n. when i had the opportunity to protect my sister and to take you down with me, i just-"
"wait, bellamy, why are you even here in the first place", you questioned. there was no way you wouldn't know about his mission but a janitor did.
his expression changed immediately, his jaw tensed and you could tell how scared he was to tell you, but he also didn't want to lie to you. not right now, not apart of this conversation.
"y/n, i messed up, okay.. i did things i regret and leaving you wasn't my only mistake, but i couldn't let my sister go to earth unprotected, alright? i had to make sure she was safe", he rambled immediately, panic lacing his voice. you on the other hand, only got more suspicious of him. "i shot chancellor jaha on shumway's request."
your eyes widened in shook, you couldn't believe what you just heard. "what, i-"
you wanted to be upset at him so bad but something in you couldn't. "is he.."
"i don't know, that was the goal", he answered quietly, not daring to look up.
"oh my god, bellamy! are you kidding me, you can't just shoot the chancellor, you can't shoot anybody actually!"
"y/n, i know, please. i know that i messed up but i can't change it anymore", he sighed before running his hand through his hair. by now, it was finally curly and loose again and you couldn't help but notice how good he looked. but that wasn't the point, not at all.
"do you though? you changed, bellamy. you have become someone i don't recognize, whats gotten into you?!", you got up from the ground, looking around helplessly. "first you shoot the chancellor and then you lead these kids in the aggressive way you do. do you even notice what you're creating?", at this point you were yelling, you didn't care anymore.
"y/n don't yell at me", he said but you just shook your head. he got up and approached you but you backed away like earlier.
"for fucks sake, stop telling me what to do! you're not my leader, if anything, you're my boyfriend, or ex boyfriend. hell, i don't even know what we are because you didn't have the fucking balls to actually break up with me before being an asshole. i have every right to yell at you", you hissed and you could see how much your words hurt him but bellamy wasn't gonna stay quiet this time.
"i never broke up with you because i didn't fucking want to. i didn't treat you like it but fuck, y/n i love you", he was raising his voice as well now.
"loved, you loved me, you don't anymore", you said and it seemed like this time, you went too far.
"shut the fuck up, y/n. don't say shit like that, don't disrespect me like that", he yelled at you, knowing full well that your disrespect wasn't even comparable to what he put you through. "don't accuse me of not loving you because i could never stop loving you. there wasn't a single day in the past five years where i didn't love you and you know that this is true, we both do!"
you bit your lip as you tried to calm yourself. the adrenaline was overwhelming at this point but still you somehow knew that he was right. you believed him.
"and you don't have to forgive me for what i did and for the way i'm leading these kids but you know damn well that i'd do anything for you and that i love you", his voice was softening again as he was calming down too. "and i know that you're not over me. you wouldn't have come with me, if you didn't love me at least a little bit."
you took a deep breath in, he was right. of course he was, but you couldn't just forgive and forget.
"y/n, baby, i'm not asking you to forget what i did, please don't. i just wanna know that i am right and that i still know you and most importantly; that i didn't ruin your life even more when i brought you down here", his voice got quieter and you could even hear it breaking towards the end of his sentence.
"yes, bellamy i still love you", you simply admitted, sad eyes meeting his right before he pulled you into his arms.
you didn't resist because you needed this, it was what you'd been seeking for all these months.
bellamy was relieved that you still loved him. he didn't expect everything to magically be amazing again but he knew that he hadn't lost you yet. he still had a chance for redemption and he was going to fix things. he was going to be a better man for you.
his strong arms were wrapped around you tightly, holding you against his chest as he also enjoyed feeling your touch again.
"i love you so much, y/n. i'll fix everything, okay? i will never hurt you ever again and we can work through this, if you want to. i missed you so much, baby", he said. his hand was now holding your cheek as he looked into your glossy eyes.
you nodded, believing him again.
you were hoping that he was saying the truth, that he would never mess it up again. you just wanted to love him again, but you weren't stupid, things, he would have to change first.

Murphy's Law
TWs: ANGST, Death, Violence
A/N Hey guys, this chapter will suck lol, sorry in advance. (Also I just finished writing this now at 5 a.m. so again please forgive my mistakes. lol.)
The following morning was colder than usual, Y/N thought as she made her way to the drop ship. She looked for Charlotte for at least an hour but she couldn’t find her anywhere.
Clarke and Wells were nowhere to be found too. Weird. She finally found Finn walking across the camp with a worried look on his face. They weren’t really friends but he still was Clarke’s friend so maybe he knew where she was.
“Hey Finn, have you seen Clarke?” She asked as she approached him.
“Hi Y/N, Clarke’s still sleeping.” He answered nervously. Even weirder. “Oh okay… Where are you going?” She asked as the boy kept looking around.
“Maybe you should go to sleep too Y/N, I’ll call you when Clarke is up.” He quickly said, not answering her question.
What the fuck was happening that morning Y/N asked herself as she made her way to a small crowd that was forming at the edge of the forest, just behind the wall.
“Hey no, you can’t go there.” Finn said, following her. “Why? What’s going on?” She asked as she reached the group of delinquents. “You don’t want to see it, trust me.” He said, garbing her forearm.  “No, I want to see.” She stated as she made her way.
Her heart stopped as she watched the ground where a corpse was standing in a pool of his own blood. What the hell? She thought as she watched the body with more attention. “I’m sorry Y/N, the grounders got him tonight.” Finn said, eyeing the girl carefully, afraid that she might snap at him. Instead she just shot him a confused look. Why was he sorry? She didn’t know the guy, she thought as she watched the limp body.
“That’s the Chancellor's son.” She heard someone murmur to another delinquent.
No, it couldn’t be, Y/N thought to herself. Wells couldn’t be dead. It didn’t make any sense. She could hear her ears ringing as everyone’s voices got louder, everyone’s eyes on her, waiting for her to snap. She wanted to scream at them to go away but her throat felt suddenly sore as she couldn’t rip her eyes away from Wells’s corpse.
“Everyone get back to work.” She murmured. She could hear Finn screaming at everyone to go away but she didn’t care, her mind only focussed on Wells.
He was dead. Her best friend since when she could remember was dead. The only person that ever made an effort to understand her was gone forever. Her knees felt weak as she fell down next to her dead best friend. Finn left with the rest of the delinquents, understanding that she wasn’t going to cry until everyone left.
She started to silently sob as she watched Wells’s last expression. He was afraid. He didn’t die peacefully, he died afraid. A loud sob escaped her lips as she closed his eyes. He didn’t deserve this. He didn’t deserve to die in such a brutal way, she thought as she went back to the camp and grabbed a shovel and made her way towards the small cemetery.
Her best friend deserved to rest in peace. She started digging the grave as her eyes were still full of tears. It took a while since her hands kept shaking too hard but after an hour Wells’s body was finally buried. He was in peace now, she thought as she sat in front of the grave. Her hands were covered in dirt and her face wasn’t any better.
Clarke was frantically looking for Y/N since she heard the news. Wells was dead. He was found dead and with his finger cut just past the wall. She could sense tears forming in her eyes as kept searching for the girl. She found Finn instead, and immediately ran to him. “hey since when are you awak-” He started saying but the blonde cut him off, “Where  is Y/N?” She asked worriedly. “Oh, so you know what happened.” He sadly said. “Where is she?” She nervously asked. She knew Y/N and she knew how she handled things. Plus she was friend with Wells so she was probably the only one who could understand her.
“Oh there she is, near the graveyard.” Finn said to Clarke.
“Thank you.” She replied, leaving before he could say anything else to her.
She wondered if Y/N knew that Wells didn't kill her dad. She probably did since her and Wells were basically best friends. She must be so hurt, she thought as she got closer to the girl, who was writing something on an object that Clarke recognized as her old notebook. She always kept it with her since they were little, she remembered with a bittersweet smile. A lot of things have changed from then.
Y/N could hear footsteps behind her but she didn’t care, her eyes not leaving the small notebook in her hands. She loved to write things on it every time she felt either inspired or needed to talk, especially after she got locked up. It was originally a gift from her parents for her birthday but she kept it all those years, still not full yet. Even if they were richer than the rest of the Ark, Y/N knew how much her parents must have worked for giving her such a pretty diary. The cover was in true leather and it had an elastic closure.
She loved that object so much, she thought as the footsteps got louder. She closed the diary, allowing the person behind her to start talking.
“Is this his grave?” Clarke asked from behind the girl. No one really liked Wells so how did they already dig a grave?
Y/N just nodded before replying “I just finished digging it.” Almost as she could read Clarke’s mind, who felt horrible now. The poor girl had to bury her best friend alone while Clarke was sleeping. She was an awful friend, she thought to herself. “Can I sit here?” She then asked. Y/N scooped over and Clarke sat next to her in complete silence as she studied the girl that was once her best friend. Her eyes were still puffy from crying before and she had dirt on her face, probably due to drying her tears with her hand. She had an expressionless face as she watched the grave but her eyes were full of sadness, Clarke recognized.
“I’m sorry Y/N, for everything.” She said to the girl, who didn’t answer. Understanding that she wasn’t willing to talk, Clarke just got up with a sigh.
“He loved you, you know that right?” Y/N finally spoke as Clarke was already walking away. “He loved you too Y/N.” She said with a sad smile. “That's not what I mean. He was in love with you. Like true love or some bullshit like that.” She explained as Clarke sat back next to her.
“H-how do you know?” She asked.
“Why do you think he let you have him for so long?” Y/N replied, her eyes still fixed on the grave.
“So you knew.” Clarke realized. Of course she did, she thought, they were best friends, “Why didn’t you tell me?” She asked then.
“I made him a promise.” Y/N explained.
“He forgave me after everything I’ve done to him.” She said incredulously.
“I can’t say I’m surprised, he was the kindest person I knew.” Y/N replied with a sad smile.
“And you? Do you forgive me?” Clarke asked then. Y/N turned around to study her for a while.
“I can try.” She said with a small smile, “ but I’m not as nice as Wells, keep that in mind.” She continued with a smirk. “Oh don’t worry, I’m not that nice either.” Clarke replied laughing, “So, are we friends again?” She asked.
“of course Clarke.” Y/N replied with a smile. God she missed having a girlfriend, or a friend in general. They stayed in that graveyard for a while, remembering old memories and just chatting in general.
When Y/N finally got up Clarke quickly came up to her and pulled in a hug. “Sorry, I had to.” She awkwardly said. “No problem.” Y/N replied, holding her closer. Then she finally left, her heart feeling much lighter now.
But of course problems were still there as she entered the wall. And the problem in question always had the same name: Murphy.
She carefully eyed him barking at random kids to work while Bellamy was behind them, also watching him. She still didn’t trust him obviously, but maybe he wasn’t a threat, at least compared to Murphy, who was completely insane. Her eyes landed then to Charlotte, who was trying to help, and she smiled at the sight of the little girl. She started walking towards her, wanting to check on her. Unfortunately they couldn’t go to the woods again since a grounder killed Wells. At the thought of Wells, Y/N felt her eyes glossy again. How was she going to handle this? She thought with a shaky breath as she approached Charlotte. “Hey, how is it going?” She asked once she finally reached the girl. “Oh hey Y/N.” Charlotte answered, “I’m trying to be useful.” She continued with a small smile.
“Need some help?” She asked. “No, don't worry, I’m leaving anyway.” She said as she eyed a guy in front of her tripping over his own feets, “I’m a little tired too.” She concluded.
“Hey are you okay? What’s your name?” Y/N asked as she helped the boy up. “I’m Cor-” He started saying but a yell interrupted him.
“Connor what the fuck are you doing? Get back to work now.” Murphy yelled at him as he made his way towards them, unknowingly catching Bellamy’s attention as he moved closer. It’s not like he liked Y/N but he didn’t want her and Murphy to fight again, that’s how he explained to himself why he was carefully listening to the argument between the two delinquents.
“He’s tired, let him rest.” Y/N firmly spoke to Murphy. “He can rest when the wall is built. Maybe you should help us princess, or do you want other people to die like Jaha junior?” He said with a smirk. Bellamy moved closer as a crowd of people started to assist the scene.
“Well maybe you are the one who should help instead of standing there and shouting orders.” She stated as she felt anger growing in her chest.
“It’s okay Connor, have a break. Murphy, get this guy some water. “ Bellamy ordered.
Y/N felt the adrenaline rush dropping and was just about to turn to Charlotte and telling her to rest when she saw a scene with the corner of her eyes that made her burn in rage again. Murphy was now standing behind Connor and pulling his pants down, starting to pee on him. Y/N felt rage washing over her again as she made her way towards the boy.
“What the fuck are you doing?” She growled at Murphy who was now dressed up again and smirking.
“He asked for water.” He said, causing his dumb minions to laugh like crazy.
“You think that’s funny, idiot?” She asked, trying to calm down. She couldn’t make a scene, she told herself as she turned around, not now that the grounders were getting closer.
“Maybe.” He answered, “What are you going to do about it huh? Call your little privileged friend? Oh wait you can’t, he’s dead.” He then said, but instantly regretted it when he saw Y/N’s face as she twirled around and hit him in the jaw. Murphy stumbled back with a groan in pain as the crowd ran to assist the fight. “Don’t you fucking dare to talk about him! Got it?” She started screaming as she kept punching him. Her first collided with all her strength on his nose, breaking it with a revolting crush. But it wasn’t enough to stop her, not this time. This time she wanted to see Murphy fucking dying.
Bellamy started running towards the crowd, already knowing what was happening. He made his way among the crowd who was cheering like crazy but nothing could've prepared him for the scene in front of him.
Murphy was lying on his back against the ground, his nose bloody and probably broken, bruises on all his face and a split lip. In front of him was standing Y/N, panting and with her hands full of his blood. It happened again. She beated him up again, Bellamy realized with a sigh before hurrying to the girl.
“Kane, go to the drop ship. Now.” He ordered.
“Yeah you better listen to him Y/N, what would Jaha think if he saw you beating up a limp body again?” He mocked her with a grin.
That was it, Y/N thought. She was going to let it go and avoid hurting him badly but now he was a dead man. She ran towards him and kicked his face with all her force as he groaned, spitting blood. Then she pulled him up grabbing him by his jacket and punched him again. And again and again, until his face was basically unrecognizable.
“Y/N! Stop!” Bellamy yelled, grabbing her with both arms to stop her from hurting him anymore.
“Let me go Blake or I swear to God that I’ll fucking kill you.” She hissed before turning to Murphy who was now basically crying.
“If you fucking dare to talk about Wells again, I’ll kill you. Got it?” She barked at him. She didn’t wait for him to answer though, outbursting to the dropship after she pushed Bellamy off.
“Everyone get back to work! Show is over!” Bellamy yelled, then he looked at Murphy.
Blood covered his entire face and he couldn’t even stand up. She really fucked him up, Bellamy thought. Maybe she really was crazy, maybe he should avoid her, he thought.
“Bellamy, what are you waiting for? You have to stop her, she’s a psycho, she tried to kill me again. We have to kill her.” He kept ranting, but Bellamy wasn’t listening to him, his eyes fixed on the girl’s back as she entered the drop ship. She turned around one second, her piercing gaze meeting him and leaving him without his breath.
Crazy or not, that girl was an unsolved mystery and he was determined to discover her secrets, he thought as he watched her disappearing behind the drop ship enter.
“You knew what you were doing, Murphy. Don’t annoy her and she won’t annoy you.” he cut short before going back to work.
“Oh my God, what happened?” Clarke asked Y/N as she stormed in the drop ship, her hands and clothes covered in blood.
“Don’t worry, it’s not mine.” She replied as the blonde started cleaning her up.
“That’s… good I think.” She answers confused. “Amyway, Octavia said that she found something we have to see.” She continued. “Oh okay.” Y/N replied. It was probably bullshit, she thought as she made her way towards the tent with Clarke next to her.
Bellamy watched Y/N with worried eyes as they made their way towards the tent.
“Hey what happened by the way?” Clarke asked her.
“I’ll explain later, don't worry.” She said, suddenly feeling nervous. If Bellamy was worried then it must be something serious, she thought as she entered the tent, Octavia Bellamy and Jasper already in it. They sat down as Octavia put something on the table in front of them. It was a knife and some… fingers? Wait, were those Wells missing fingers? That means that the knife was what killed him. But it wasn’t a grounder’s knife, Y/N thought. “Me and Jasper found these things outside the wall. The metal of the knife was made from the dropship and the fingers are Wells’s.” Octavia spoke.
“What does it mean?” Jasper asked.
“It means we have a killer among us.” Y/N explained, “Who else knows this?” She then asked Octavia.
“No one else, I brought it straight here.” She replied. “Good, let’s keep it this way. We don’t need people to panic, especially with the grounders after us.” Y/N stated. If the news that an assassin was around them spread, people would quickly understand her secret, she feared.
“Do we know whose knife it is?” Clarke then asked.
“It doesn’t matter, there is more than one murder here, we need to keep this quiet.” Bellamy said. That made Y/N involuntary tense up, hoping that no one noticed. She knew that the statement wasn’t directed to her but she still felt nervous. He was getting closer to the truth, Y/N thought as she eyed Bellamy for a second. She couldn’t allow that.
“Yes, we do.” Octavia said, “J.M. John Murphy.” She then said.
Of course, Y/N thought, he hated Wells. Anger started burning in her chest again as she closed her fists. She already was mad at him, if she actually confronted him she would’ve killed him. “People have the right to know.” Clarke stated before walking out the tent. Bellamy immediately got up and started following her, Y/N behind him.
“Clarke, be smart about this. Look at what we’ve achieved… the wall, the patrols. Like it or not, thinking the Grounders killed Wells is good for us.” He said to her.
“Blake is right, this will cause pandemonium. We wait and think of an actual punishment.” Y/N added. “How can you say so? Wells was your best friend?” Clarke turned around to look at her. “He won’t get away with this Clarke, I promise you that, but for now no one can know.” She replied.
“People have the right to know.” She stated, before storming off to Murphy.
Oh no, Y/N thought as she followed her.
“You son of a bitch!” Clarke yelled as she pushed Murphy. “What the fu-” He started saying but she cut him off, “Recognize this?”
“Yeah, that's my knife, where did you find it?” He asked. “Next to Wells's body, after you killed him.” She spat back. Murmurs started spreading among the delinquents.
“I didn’t kill anyone.” He started defending himself. Y/N felt anger growing in her chest. He was lying.
“You threatened to kill him, you hated him!” She piped in. “Everyone hated him.” He replied. “He tried to kill Jasper too.” Octavia yelled.
“Just admit it! Admit that you are a killer!” Y/N shot back.
“This is ridiculous, I don’t have to answer you, I don’t have to answer to anyone.” He shot back. “Coma agin?” Bellamy said, taking a step forward, now standing next to Y/N.
“Bellamy you have to believe me man, I didn’t kill anyone.” He started begging. His eyes shifted, meeting Y/N’s cold ones. “If I wanted to kill someone I’d kill her don’t you think? I’m not a murderer, trust me.” He kept begging.
“But you couldn’t kill me cause you are weak so you decided to take Wells by surprise, knowing that you couldn’t even beat him in a fair fight, didn’t you?” She growled back. “That’s not true Bellamy, you know me and you know her, she’s a psycho, please believe me.” “Is this the kind of society that we want? ” Clarke spoke up from behind them, stepping forward, “In a society with no rules? Where killing each other is okay? Where the guilty don’t go unpunished?” She shouted, glaring at Murphy.
“I say we float him!” A boy shouted. Others began to cheer, agreeing with him, “Float him! Float him! Float him!” They started chanting.
Clarke looked at Y/N for help, but she didn’t meet her gaze, her eyes burning holes in Murphy’s skin. Maybe it was the ager that still didn’t cool off, maybe it was the fact that he tried to kill her and killed her best friend or maybe it was the way her father raised her, but she didn’t feel the tiniest bit of empathy as she watched the delinquents trying to hang him to a tree. Clarke was now screaming at the top of her lungs, begging them to stop but it wasn’t enough. Her eyes meeted Murphys as the crowd kept beating him up. He looked miserable.
Good, that’s what he fucking deserves, Y/N thought. She didn’t care if thinking it was morally horrible or if it made her an horrible person, she felt fucking happy as she watched that worm finnaly getting what he deserved.
The crowd started moving towards the fatidic tree and she followed them, joining their sick joy. Maybe she was broken, maybe it was in her DNA, but the execution was the first thing that finally made her content that day.
They hanged Murphy with a noose and put him on a crate. Y/N made her way among the crowd, reaching the edge to take a better look.
“Bellamy, you should do it!” The crowd started cheering Bellamy’s name as he slowly walked towards Murphy.
“Bellamy please stop them, you can do it, they listened to you, please, I know you don’t want to kill him.” Clarke begged him crying as she tried to stop him. “This is on you, we told you to keep your mouth shut.” he growled.
“Please Y/N tell him to stop, I know you. Please don’t let him kill Murphy! I know that if you wanted him dead you would’ve already killed him.” She begged her then, but Y/N just slowly shook her head, “It’s too late now.” she stated, her eyes sickly glowing in revenge as she kept watching Murphy.
“What about Charlotte, do you want her to see a guy getting killed?” She then said.
That made Y/N come to her senses for a second, looking around for Charlotte. But she couldn’t find her anywhere, so she just hoped she left before this mess began.
Bellamy finally reached the crate where Murphy was standing and turned around to look at the two girls for the last time before killing him. He locked Y/N’s eyes for a second that felt like an eternity. The approval in her eyes was enough for Bellamy to kick the crate, the crowd cheering like crazy. Murphy was now suspended in the air, dying as the crowd kept cheering. “What the fuck are you doing? Let him down!” Finn started yelling as he tried to reach the dying boy, but he got stopped by a delinquent before he could even take a knife to cut the noose.
Y/N touched her lips and realized she was smiling the whole time as she watched Murphy struggle.
“Stop! Okay?” A voice echoed in the forest. They all turned around to look at the little girl who yelled. Charlotte. Oh no, Y/N thought, she shouldn’t be seeing this.
“Murphy didn’t kill Wells,” She continued, “I did.”.
Shock shook Y/N to the core as she watched Charlotte. How could she kill him? After everything she taught her, she decided to kill one of her best friends. She felt someone grabbing her by the forearm and guiding her to a tent. I turned around, seeing Bellamy next to me with a shocked expression on his face.
“Why did you do it?” Finn asked angrily, but Y/N didn’t answer as she kept crying. “Why?” He kept asking as Murphy outside the tent continued to scream, “Bring the girl out!”.
Y/N head was spinning too hard to comprehend the following words. Charlotte killed Wells. The news kept repeating in her head as she sat down. How could she? She asked herself. She was just a kid.
“I’m going outside.” Bellamy stated. That brought Y/N back to reality. She got up, following him. “Where do you think you are going?” He asked her, “You can’t go outside, he’ll kill you.”
“I can’t stand staying there another second.” She answered, “Plus I can beat his ass if I want.” She stated.
Charlotte let out a loud sob as she watched the girl exiting the tent. “I’m sorry Y/N, please don’t let them hurt him.” She said.
Y/N turned around to look at the little girl who was once so dear to her, almost as a sister. “Stay with them, we’ll solve everything.” She stated before following Bellamy outside.
“Look who decided to join us.” he said with a smirk, “Our new leaders who hang people for fun!”
He exclaimed with a sick laugh. “What is it? Here to hang me again? Will your psycho bitch the one who kicks the crate now, oh mighty Bellamy?” He asked as he made his way towards them.
“We just gave people what they wanted.” Bellamy explained calmly as he took a step forward, putting himself between Y/N and Murphy before he could attack her. The next thing he needed was her getting hurt.
“Yeah. Yeah, that’s a good idea. Why don’t we do that right now?” He said to him, “So, who here wants to see the real murderer hung up? “ He then spoke to the crowd.
“Y/N, go. Now.” Bellamy whispered to Y/N.
“What? Why?” She asked
“Because he’s going to be really angry now and I don’t want you to get hurt.” He stated before he could even think. What the fuck was wrong with him? He asked himself. They were all going to die and he just admitted he somehow cared for the girl.
He turned around to explain himself but Y/N was already gone. Good, he said trying to focus, one less distraction.
Y/N was running like crazy in the forest, holding her bow thigh in her left hand and her knife in the right one. She knew it wasn’t the safest thing to do but she didn’t care, her only thought was finding Charlotte. Well, it wasn’t her only thought but it was the only one she wanted to listen to. The back of her head was still thinking about what Bellamy said. Did he care for her? Were they friends now?
“Charlotte!” She screamed at the top of her lungs, but no response was given. She started to run again when someone grabbed her, putting a hand on her mouth so she couldn’t scream. Grounders? She asked herself in fear.
“They are in a bunker near here, I’ll take you there,” Finn murmured in her ear as she let out a relieved breath.
“Y/N?” Clarke asked at the sight of her friend entering the bunker where her and Charlotte were. “Hey.” She said with a small smile.
“But why are you here? Where is Bellamy?” She asked then. Heath rushed to her cheeks at the mention of the boy’s name.
“Oh… he didn’t need my help.” She quickly brushed it off. Her eyes fell on Charlotte, who was sleeping on a tiny bed. “I can’t believe she did it.” She said with a cold face.
“She? Y/N you are the one who got us in this mess when you allowed Bellamy to hang Murphy!” Clarke shot back.
“What? We told you to keep your mouth shut, so if there is anyone to blame here is you.” Y/N spat. No way she was going to feel guilty for trying to kill that asshole.
“People needed to know. The truth is that you are a coward just like your father. You always criticized him but you are just as guilty as he is. You almost let an innocent boy get executed today. I can’t believe you let Bellamy do it.” The blonde argued.
Y/N felt her body burning again as she almost threw herself on the girl in front of her. But then she realized that if she wanted to survive the night she had to avoid conflicts.
“Don’t you fucking dare talking shit about me or my father ever again. Got it?” She hissed before storming off the bunker.
She was going to look for Murphy's men, making sure they didn’t come near the bunker, she decided.
Bellamy fell with his face in the dirt, probably tripped over a rock or something. He was starting to seriously hate those woods, he thought to himself as he got up and started running again in the dark forest. He needed to find Charlotte, he needed to protect her. Not just her, he needed to protect everyone. The thought of Y/N returned in his mind. He hoped that she’d found them, and that they were okay, he thought. He still felt dumb for what he said to her before, not even knowing how to explain it to her.
A running figure in the middle of the woods interrupted his thought. It was a girl. “Y/N…” Bellamy realized out loud, running even faster. He quickly caught her, garbing her and hiding behind a tree.
“Are you fucking crazy? What if I was one of Murphy’s men huh?” He asked her as he unintentionally still held her close to him. Once he realized what he was doing he immediately got flustered and let her go murmuring an apology. He had to stay focussed, he kept repeating to himself.
“Charlotte is with Clarke and Finn in a bunker not too far from here. I’m trying to find Murphy to keep him away from them.” She explained, still panting.
“Why aren’t you with them?” He asked her.
She said something under her breath, looking everywhere but at him. “What?” He asked confused.
“I got in a fight with Clarke and left.” She then admitted, still not looking at him.
“Are you crazy? You were in a safe place for once.” He said. His mind kept thinking what if he was a grounder or Murphy? She could be dead.
“Why do you even care? You hate me anyway.” She shot back.
He stared at her for a while before replying, “I didn’t save your stupid ass so many times just to let you die in the stupidest way ever.”. Now it was his turn to look away, as he waited for the girl’s response.
He was already prepared for her to snap at her for calling her stupid but instead she just started laughing.  “Well we have to keep moving if we want to save their stupid asses too.” She said with a smirk before walking in the forest, completely unaware of Bellamy’s amazed gaze following her.
Silence fell between the two of them as they kept quietly searching for Murphy and his minions. “Why did you fight with Clarke anyway?” Bellamy finally asked her. Y/N looked down for an instant, unsure if it was okay to tell him the truth or not. “She started talking shit about me and I just kinda lost it.” She quickly explained, “Why do you care?” She asked then. Bellamy just shrugged, “I’m trying to make a conversation, you know, that thing humans usually do…” He then answered.
“Ah ah ah, very funny Blake.” She said, a smirk twitching up to her lips.
Crazy how she was able to smile even in that messed up situation, Bellamy thought.  “We’ll find them, you know, Charlotte and the others.” He then said. “I know it’s just… What are we going to do then? Murphy will eventually find Charlotte.” She answered, nervously biting her nails. “I know Murphy, he is all talk and no act.” He reassured her. “Yeah I kinda have noticed it.” She said, referring to all the times he claimed that he was going to kill her.
“I don’t know if it will be enough to stop him from hurting Charlotte though. I just hope it is because we can’t have two deaths in a day.” He admitted.
The thought of Wells came back in Y/N’s mind as she felt tears getting to hereyes.
“It’s all my fault, Wells wanted me to come with me the night when Charlotte killed him. I could’ve protected him but I was too focussed on my own problems to listen to him.” She said, the thought of Atom and Wells’s dead bodies flashed in her mind.
“You didn’t know that would’ve happened, you did your best. Plus you were already dealing with Atom’s death.” Bellamy replied, “Thank you for what you did for him in the forest by the way. I could've never done that.” He then said.
If only he knew why she was able to do it, Y/N thought. Instead she just nodded.
“It’s my fault too by the way.” He then admitted, “I told her to slay her demons if she wanted to sleep, but that wasn’t what I meant.” He said, shaking his head, “I got us in this mess, I gave Charlotte the knife, I pushed the crate that almost killed Murphy.” He slowly said, his words full of regret. Y/N wanted to say something but a glimpse of Charlotte running shot in front of her. “Look, it’s Charlotte!” She whispered to Bellamy as she ran towards the little girl. The two of them could feel Murphy getting closer but still continued to run towards the girl. Bellamy grabbed her, taking her in the opposite direction as Murphy’s followers. Charlotte let out a scream as Bellamy put a hand in front of her mouth to prevent her from screaming anymore. “I’m trying… hey, hey. I’m trying to help you.” He kept saying as Charlotte struggled. “Charlotte, stop moving or you’ll get us all killed. Do you want to kill anyone else?” Y/N firmly spoke. Charlotte just shook her head as she stopped moving. “A little harish Kane.” Bellamy commented.
“Whatever, she needed to calm down.” She coldly answered.
A shout interrupted the group and Bellamy accidentally dropped Charlotte, who instantly ran away.
“Charlotte!” Y/N screamed before following her.
“Charlotte you can’t hide!” Murphy shouted not so far behind them.
“Shit.” Y/N cursed as she ran faster, finally reaching Charlotte as they got on the edge of a cliff. “We need to find a way out.” Bellamy said once he reached them.
“Charlotte! Damn it. You cannot fight all of us. Give her up.” Murphy yelled as he made her way towards them. “Maybe not, but I guarantee I’ll take a few of you with me.” Bellamy spoke as he stood in front of Charlotte.
“Stop! We can discuss this!” Clarke said as she emerged from the forest, Finn following her.
“Yeah yeah, we can talk.” Murphy said as Clarke got closer but in an instant he grabbed her and held a blade on her throat. “I will slit her throat.” He stated as everyone watched him. His eyes met Y/N’s, “What is it? Got a dejavu?” Y/N just ignored him as she held Charlotte closer to her.
“Please don’t hurt her.” Charlotte kept crying.
“Don’t hurt her? Okay, I’ll make you a deal. You come with me right now, I will let her go.” Murphy said with a smirk. Y/N’s grip on Charlotte loosened up a bit with those words.
“Charlotte, it’s a trap, don’t do it!” Bellamy screamed but it was too late, Y/N realized as she watched the girl walking towards Murphy.
“No! No, I have to!” She said.
“Charlotte stop, we can still solve everything.  I get it. The guilt of killing Wells is crushing you. I know that feeling. But we are not going to let you die, no matter what you have done.” Y/N calmly spoke as she tried to get closer to her.
“I’m so sorry Y/N for being such a disappointment and for hurting you. I can’t let any of you get hurt anymore. Not because of me. Not after what I did.” She said and with that she jumped off the cliff.
“Charlotte, no!” Y/N screamed running towards her but it was too late.
She was gone, another friend was dead.
Y/N felt tears filling up her eyes as she watched the dark place where Charlotte’s body was.
She could hear Bellamy and Clarke calling Charlotte’s name but it was too late.
“Murphy.” Bellamy growled as he made his way towards the boy. “Bellamy I swear I-” He was cut off by Bellamy’s fist landing on his jaw, followed by many other punches and kicks.
Y/N watched as Clarke tried to stop him from killing him, but at this point she didn’t even care if he lived or not. Him dying wouldn’t bring Charlotte back anyway.
"Bellamy, stop! You’ll kill him!” Clarke shouted.
“Get off me! He deserves to die!” Bellamy shot back. Rage had completely washed over him as he kept punching Murphy. He knew he said he didn’t want to have any more blood on his hands but at that moment he didn’t care. The only thing that mattered was making him suffer.
“No! We don’t decide who lives and dies. Not down here. We just need rules!” Clarke yelled.
“Rules, huh? And who makes those rules? You?” He spat as he kept punching Murphy, who was now barely conscious.
“For now we will.” Clarke stated.
“So are you saying we just take him back and pretend like it never happened?” Bellamy asked as the rage grew.
“We banish him. He can’t come near the camp for now on.” Clarke explained.
“And we kill him if he ever tries to come back.” Y/N piped in.
Bellamy carefully eyed Murphy before growling, “If I ever catch you near camp, we’ll be back here. Understand?” Murphy just nodded before Bellamy dropped him.
Everyone started to leave but Y/N couldn’t move her feets. Her hands were shaking so hard she had to put them in her pockets. She could hear Clarke garbing her and guiding her to the camp but she didn’t look up, not even once.
She then climbed up her tree, feeling more alone than ever. Tears were burning her eyes again but she ignored them, trying instead to sleep. A sharp pain from her wrist woke her up though. She looked down at her wristband. The green light was off, she realized as she touched it. But just as she did so, the wristband broke, leaving her even more hopeless.
Wells was dead. Charlotte was dead. And now the Ark was going to die too.
She quickly got to the bonfire, throwing her wristband in the flames. She stood there for what felt like hours before hearing footsteps coming from behind her.
“Did you take off your wristband?” Bellamy cautiously asked as he approached the girl.
“It broke. Now we are alone.” Y/N explained, her eyes not leaving the flames. Bellamy carefully watched the girl, afraid that she could break just like her wristband.
“How are you holding up?” He then asked. Y/N thought about it for a while the truth was that she felt fucking horrible. People around her kept dying and she couldn’t save them.
“I’m just tired I guess.” She finally answered.
“Get some sleep then.” Bellamy said, “Maybe not on that tree, nights are getting colder.” He added, handing her a weird looking tent. “I-it’s a tent, I thought that maybe you preferred sleeping in here more than on a tree.” He explained rubbing the back of his neck. He couldn’t help but to feel like a silly teenager around her, he cursed himself as he anxiously waited for her to laugh at him in the face. Instead she just smiled, “That’s very kind, thank you.” She said before taking the tent.
“See you tomorrow then.” She then said, making her way towards a place to place her tent.
“Yeah, see you tomorrow.” Bellamy answered before entering his tent.
“Who were you talking to?” Roma asked, still lying on his bed.
“Just a friend.” He answered with a smile.

59 pages into the first 100 book.
Am I wrong for still not liking wells. If my memory serves me correctly, in the show I always got the feeling like he expected to be the leader on earth just because his dad was the leader on the ark.
It seems like he’s attempting to take the leader role even though clearly none of the people respect him and for solid reasons. His dad imprisoned them and was gonna execute them when they turned 18 but chose to send them all to earth instead (which could’ve killed them anyways).
I bet I’ll like wells as soon as he shows development that’s isn’t “I hate you dad for imprisoning Clarke so imma burn down a tree so we can go to earth together even though she hates me”
Anyways here’s a song that fits the vibe so far.

You sit beside Kane in lock up, having just said goodbye to your mother, wishing you could do the same with Bellamy and your sister.
As you near the hour of what will soon be your death, you find comfort in knowing that at least Clarke will have your mother. Selfishly, some part of you is grateful that you don’t have to feel the loss of losing your twin, and that Clarke will have to learn to live with the grief. But she was always stronger than you, and if anyone could learn to live without half of themselves, your shining star can.
But in the end, it’s Bellamy your heart aches for. In a way, he’s lost his sister, his friends, those that are closest to him. In the moments of silence, when it’s just the two of you, you can see the weight pulling down his shoulders, can see the anguish that has settled into the lines on his face. Bellamy has spent most of his life lost; searching for who he is without a father, what kind of man he wanted to be on the Ark. and then losing his mother and Octavia, it left him listless, floating in the openness of space with no idea of who he wanted to be.
It’s why he so easily agreed to save Octavia’s life by shooting Jaha; he had the opportunity to find himself again. To anchor his identity to his goal of saving Octavia, and ultimately, his people.
But then his obsession with saving his people, after having lost so many in such a short time, broke him, pushed into the arms of a fascist chancellor who saw how easy it was to take advantage of the man you love.
It’s a path you can’t follow him down.
It’s a path you won’t be given the chance to follow him down, even if you wanted to.
You look at Kane, at the man you’ve come to see as a father figure without even realizing it was happening. And now, the man who will lose his life the same way your father lost his. Fighting for what’s right.
“It can't be all for nothing.” Kane turns to look at you in confusion, not understanding what you mean. You push on, “All of it. The spying, Mount Weather, all the hell we’ve faced can’t be all for nothing. Pike will destroy Skaikru until there’s nothing left, and everything we fought for will no longer matter.”
Lincoln wanders over and sits beside you on the bench. He reaches out to squeeze your shoulder, a silent message that he understands your frustration.
“There’s nothing left for us to do. We have to hope our deaths will mean something. That it will finally push for the change we’ve been fighting for.”
You’re incredulous at the suggestion, at the thought of being told to just stop fighting. “So that’s it? We just give up?”
Kane shakes his head, his expression sad, but determined. “No. This is how we fight now. We go with grace, accept our punishment, hold our head high. We don’t break, we don’t show fear. The people will remember.”
He glances up at Sinclair, who has just joined the three of you, nodding in agreement. You look at Lincoln, who gives Kane a single nod in agreement, and you sit between them, wondering how this is all that’s left for you. You’re the last to agree, resigned to a fate that may save the love of your life and your people, a fate that you will not be around to see.
-
You’ve never been happier to see Octavia Blake in your entire life.
She ushers all of you to safety, freedom just on the other side of a hidden passageway built into Arkadia’s walls.
A freedom that she watches slip away as Lincoln insists on staying back for his people.
You see the betrayal on her face as she slips into unconsciousness, the same betrayal you felt when Bellamy did the same thing to you in Mount Weather. As Lincoln passes his unconscious girlfriend into Kane’s waiting arms, you close in on him, trying to change his mind. She passes out right after, and Lincoln catches her easily, passing her to Kane. You step towards Lincoln, looking at him in confusion. “What are you doing?”
“Same thing you’d do for your people.”
You give him a serious look, “Yu laik ai kru.”
You are my people. He smiles at you, but it’s sad, and the sight of it hurts your heart. “Just get her out of here. Please.”
But then Kane’s words rattle around in your head, and it finally clicks for you. We have to hope our deaths will mean something. The people of Arkadia see Lincoln as a Grounder, and his sacrifice to save other Grounders will mean nothing to them. They will only see it as someone saving their own. They need to see one of their own, someone from the Ark, risking their life for Grounders. It’s the only way they’ll ever understand what the rest of you are fighting for.
The answer seems so obvious now, and you feel like a fool for not thinking of it earlier.
You turn back to Lincoln, shaking your head at him, already stepping away. “Get her out of here yourself. I can save your people.” And maybe Bellamy too.
Kane steps closer to the two of you, unable to avoid overhearing your conversation in the small hallway. His expression is distraught, shaking his head as he looks at you. “No, you can’t.”
“You said it yourself: our deaths can mean something. The people will remember. I know this place better than Lincoln, I know the guard schedules and routes. I can get them out and be seen only when I need to be. I can end this.”
“But Clarke-”
You cut Kane off, “Has my mother, and our friends, and you.”
You can see the moment he remembers that you will not go out without a fight, that you will do this with or without his support. He offers you the only thing he can, which is his blessing. “If you get them into the west woods, they can navigate the trade routes to the blockade. They’ll be safe.”
It relieves you to have his approval, though you can see the anguish it’s causing him to give it. You give him a small smile of thanks, hoping he won’t carry guilt from something that you’re willingly choosing to do.
You can’t say the same for Lincoln, who grabs your arm as you try to step away, pulling you back towards the escape route. “La lune, you can’t.”
“We both know it’s the only way, Lincoln. You know that I know this camp better than you. I’m more likely to make it through unnoticed. If you want your people to be safe, they need to get out of this camp, at least until Pike is dead. I can’t take care of that, but I can save your people and make a statement. Maybe the people will turn on him, offer him to the Grounders at the blockade.”
You can see that he desperately wants to argue with you, but when his mouth opens, no words come out. Because both of you know he’s right, and if Skaikru wants any chance of survival, they need to see Pike do the unthinkable. He reaches out for you, his strong arms pulling you into a hug, and it’s the first time since you made your decision that you start to tear up.
When Lincoln pulls away, his expression is sad, but you swear you glimpse a look of pride in your eyes. It strengthens your resolve further. “A warrior with a heart.”
You smile at him before reaching up and unclasping your necklace, your thumb brushing over the silver moon one last time. You press it into Lincoln’s hand, delivering your final wish. “Can you give this to Bellamy for me?”
His hand closes over the moon, the last time you’ll ever see the small charm, and when you meet Lincoln's eyes, you can see that he understands what this means to you. “Of course.”
There’s a clamor down the hall, what sounds like a commotion of guards, and you know that time is finally up. You quickly press a kiss to Octavia’s forehead and back away from the two men, looking them both over as you mutter, “May we meet again.”
They repeat it back to you before slipping into the hidden passageway, and when you press the panel back into the wall, it’s with the knowledge that you’ll never see any of them again.
-
The escape of 4 prisoners sentenced to death has the guards scrambling, and it makes them sloppy.
It’s easy to be invisible when that’s all you were your entire life. You blend in with the crowds of Arkadians easily, walking past most of the guards in plain sight. And when you round the final corner to the small lock up you left not long ago, you’re relieved to find that they only left one guard behind.
He’s not expecting you, so when you run down the hall at full speed, kicking your legs out to swipe his own feet from beneath him, he tumbles easily. You yank the shock baton from his belt, cranking it up just enough to knock him unconscious, but not to kill him. You’re trying to help your cause, not hurt it.
You pat the man down, finding a small pocket knife that you slip into your pants, along with his key card to open the holding cell door. Denae stands there with the others, looking at you in shock, surprised to see you after you were led to your death not long ago.
“Where’s Lincoln?”
“Safe. Escaped with the others.” You look over the group of Grounder prisoners that have started to stand and move towards you. “We don’t have much time. I have to get you to the west woods before they notice you’re gone.”
The Grounders don’t need to be told to hurry; they’ve seen how easily Pike locked his people up and sentenced them to death, know that it’s only a matter of time before they’re next. The stronger ones carry and guide the weak, and you take the emptier hallways until all of you are safely outside, the fence and the woods beyond it in your sight. You want to be seen, but getting caught before freeing the Grounders will only make things worse for everyone.
As your group openly jogs across a busy section of Arkadia, people stop to watch you, but no one says a word, unsure of what exactly they’re seeing. When you reach the fence, you toss a nearby stick at a section you hope is no longer electrified, fried long ago during spy related activities. The stick hits the ground without event, and you let out a sigh of relief, guiding Denae and the others through the gaps in the fence. When everyone is safely through, Denae turns to look at you, surprised to find you still on the other side. “You’re not coming with us?”
“There’s something else I need to do. Follow the trade route to the west, and you’ll reach the blockade in no time. Your people can protect you from there.”
“Thank you.”
You feel strange accepting her thanks. “I’m sorry for what my people have done to yours. Maybe one day we will all be one people.”
“Peace will find a way.”
And as the two of you exchange a smile, an alarm begins to sound over the PA system, prompting Denae to turn and run, disappearing into the treeline with her people before Pike and his guards even know they’re gone. You let out a sigh of relief, because at least now, everyone is safe. Except for you.
-
“La lune, la lune, la lune.”
The name falls from Bellamy’s lips like a broken prayer as he sprints through the woods, back towards Arkadia, a necklace squeezed so tight in his grasp that a small silver moon will leave its imprint in his palm for hours after he lets go.
He can hear footsteps crashing through the woods behind him, his sister and Kane calling his name as he tears through the woods on memory alone, letting his legs carry him back to the woman he loves.
I only wanted to keep her safe. To protect her, and my people. I was wrong, I was wrong, I was wrong.
When he bursts through the treeline, his eyes trace the arc of Arkadia looming high in the gray skies, rain starting to fall like the Earth knows what’s about to happen. Bellamy is sure that he can stop it, that he can convince Pike to save your life, even though he failed before. He’ll give himself in your place, accept that the bullet meant for you is actually for him, one shot to atone for his sins and wipe his slate clean. Because you deserve to live, to have peace and live life until you’re old and gray. You deserve a partner that loves you, and the comfort of knowing that you’ll always be safe with the people you love. You deserve all the things you’ve dreamed and longed for, and even if he can't be there to see it, even if he can't be there to give those things to you, he will sacrifice himself in your place.
Pike walks ahead of a group of guards, guards that Bellamy would have considered friends not two days earlier, guards that are now pulling his fighting girlfriend outside the main gate.
Bellamy starts to run again, his legs moving on instinct to be with you, but strong hands pull him back, holding him in place with an iron grip, forcing him to watch from a distance.
Your hands are bound; hands that he once spent hours holding, content just to be with you. Your hair is wild around you, the way it looks when you wake beside him each morning, tousled now from the way you’re fighting the guards. And the necklace that would normally be glinting in the light around your neck is now gripped so tightly in his hand that blood begins to seep between his fingers.
He wants to turn to Kane and Octavia, scream that they have to save you, that they have to let him go so he can take your place, but he is frozen as he sees you pulled before Pike, the chancellor’s hand already resting on the gun at his side.
-
Pike is too much of a coward to kill you in the middle of Arkadia.
You guessed as much, but once he dragged you towards the back of camp, out of sight from the rest of your people, you started to fight, deciding that going with grace only worked if there was someone there to see it.
The people of Arkadia will know what happened to you, even though Pike tries to hide it.
Once you are pulled through the gate and into a patch of land just outside Arkadia’s walls, you finally stop your fight. It’s almost over. Everyone you love is outside the camp, except your mother, who will have no idea what’s happened until after you’re gone. You can only hope she remembers her promise to you and Kane, and that she doesn’t risk her life when Clarke still needs her.
You thought you’d be scared, but you aren’t. You swear it’s because your father is with you, his cologne easy to spot amongst the smell of dirt and pine. He’s keeping you standing tall and strong, giving nothing to the man that will soon take your life. A man that he once played chess with, long ago on a ship in the sky, long before anyone knew that a life on Earth was possible.
When you had nothing but time while locked up, you anguished over all the things you were going to lose. Now, as the clock ticks towards the end, you think only of the things that give you joy. You think of Clarke when you were both small, of the pictures she would draw and leave on your pillow to find in the morning. You think of Octavia, the timid girl that became a warrior and your friend, making you more proud than you thought possible. You think of Monty’s moonshine and your mom’s laugh and most of all you think of Bellamy.
You think of the freckles dotted across his face, the ones you would trace for hours as he slept beside you. You think of his lopsided grin, and the way he always seemed to know what you needed before you needed it. You think of how he gave you strength when you had none, the way he laughed when he thought no one was paying attention. You think of him in the quiet moments, the in between, when his face was serene with sleep or his shoulders finally relaxed at the end of a long day. You think of Greek gods, constellations, and the Iliad, of all the stories that tied the two of you together.
And your final wish to the Universe as you turn to face Pike, is that Bellamy Blake will no longer be lost.
-
You stand tall as they turn you to Pike, your stance confident, despite the situation you’re in.
You don’t drop to your knees when they ask you too, making the guards get their hands dirty instead as they push your knees into the mud beneath you.
You don’t flinch when Pike pulls out his pistol and cocks it.
Your eyes never leave his as his finger moves to the trigger.
The last words to ever leave your lips falls on ears that don’t understand the meaning.
“I love you more than the stars.”
And you swear the last thing you hear before everything goes dark, is a scream that sounds a lot like Bellamy.
-
Bellamy feels like the scream is splitting his throat apart, his anguish so raw, so palpable, that he’s sure he must be bleeding.
He can’t understand that he’s okay, that the pain he’s feeling isn’t one that can ever be seen. He’s sure that it will kill him, that his heart will refuse to carry this and simply stop. He thinks that will be the greatest mercy, the way to reunite again with you.
He doesn't remember Kane and Octavia pulling him away from the clearing, trying to escape the Arkadian guards that now know where they are. He doesn't remember punching the walls of the cave until his hands were nothing but blood and torn flesh, doesn't remember the screams that tore from his throat until Kane slipped Reaper drugs into his veins.
He slips unconscious in a fit of anguish, surrounded by friends who wonder how they will share the news of your death to your other half if this is how Bellamy reacts.
They have to keep someone on guard duty all night, because Bellamy tries to escape three separate times, swearing he’s going to kill Pike with nothing more than his bare hands.
He has to be chained up when they kidnap Pike and deliver him to the Grounders, ending the blockade. He fights the restraints for hours, until his wrists are just as bloody as his hands once were, and only when he’s finally exhausted every ounce of strength in his body does he finally fall asleep.
And when he dreams, he dreams of you.

You all head back to the cave to gather your stuff before heading back to Arkadia.
“I don’t understand it either. Something about those chips,” Monty says as you nod in agreement.
“We’ll know soon enough. Be ready,” Sinclair replies.
“O, wait. You can’t just leave,” Bellamy says as the two of you notice Octavia packing up.
“Watch me,” She replies.
“You heard what Jasper said on the radio. Arkadia is not safe,” Bellamy replies back.
“What Jasper said sounds insane. Pike’s gone. I can handle myself. Grounders burn their dead,” Octavia says.
“I know that. And then what? Where are you gonna go?” Bellamy says.
“You don’t get to ask me that,” Octavia snaps.
“What more do I have to do to prove that I am on your side?” Bellamy asks.
“Bring Lincoln back. Turning Pike in does not make you one of the good guys, Bellamy. You did that to save me. Not because what you thought Pike was doing to the Grounders was wrong. ” O responds.
“The Grounders were starving us out,” Bellamy states.
“Because you massacred an army that was sent to protect us,” You interrupt.
“That army could have attacked us at any time, and you both know that,” Bellamy says, turning his attention to you.
“But they didn’t attack. You did that,” You say.
“You were hurting, and you lashed out. Because that’s what you do. There are consequences, Bel. People get hurt. People die. Your people. Monroe’s dead. Lincoln is dead,” Octavia adds before walking away. Bellamy goes to follow O out of the cave, and you hear the noise of an approaching rover.
“They’re here,” You hear Miller say from outside the cave. You walk out of the cave and see Clarke get out of the rover.
“Need your help! We have to get her inside before she wakes up!” You hear Jasper yell and look to see him carrying Raven.
“Were you followed?” Bellamy asks.
“Maybe. I don’t know.,” Jasper responds.
“Get to the ridge. Radio if you spot anyone following. Harper will stay here on watch,” Miller says.
“Octavia, come one. We need you,” Clarke says as you all head into the cave.
“What the hell happened to her?” Sinclair asks.
“I told you on the radio, Raven is not Raven anymore. None of them are. Jaha has been chipping everyone,” Jasper explains.
“Jasper’s right. I’ve seen it with my own eyes,” Clarke confirms.
“I don’t need your help, all right?” Jasper snaps.
“Just take it easy and explain,” You say calmly.
“Jaha is using the chips to control everyone. You swallow it, and it changes you. You forget who you are, and then you see this thing, Alie. Only she’s not really there. She made Raven slit her own wrists. She was trying to get her out of her head. I was trying to help her but –,” Jasper explains.
“Okay, so let’s help her now. Did she say how?” Sinclair interrupts.
“She was working on building something. She needed one of her old wristbands, but Jaha destroyed all of them,” Jasper says.
“Wait a second,” Clarke says before pulling out a little item of some sort. “Does it look like this?” Clarke says.
“Not exactly,” Jasper says.
Suddenly, you notice Raven running away, and you all chase after her, “Don’t let her get away,” Clarke yells.
“It’s just woods. I can’t see anything,” Raven says as everyone goes to restrain her.
“If Raven finds out where we are, so will Alie. She’ll come for her,” Jasper says before sticking something in her neck.
“We have to go,” Clarke says.
“Why? Alie doesn’t know where we are,” Bellamy questions.
“Because I know where we can get a wristband,” Clarke says. You pack everything up and head to some outpost Clarke tells you about.
“I’ll talk to her,” Clarke says.
“I’ll go with you,” You say and get out of the rover.
“I thought you said she was a friend,” Octavia says after noticing the blade the woman is holding.
“We’ll handle it. Just stay here,” Clarke says.
“Skaikru is not welcome here, Wanheda,” The woman says as you approach.
“Niylah, what’s wrong?” Clarke asks the woman.
“She’s waking up. Hurry! Let’s get her inside,” You hear Sinclair.
“Is your father here?” Clarke asks.
“My father’s dead. Part of an army killed by your people while trying to protect you,” Niylah says.
“Niylah, please.” Clarke asks.
“I said no,” She responds.
“We haven’t got time for this. Move! Move!” Bellamy says, coming up with his gun ready. “Get her in there,” Bellamy says.
“I told you my mom was here. If she was chipped, Alie would know,” Monty states.
“That’s why we’re putting her in the back, through there,” Clarke says. “Tie her to the bed,” Clarke says, tossing you some rope.
Raven begins to struggle and takes off her blindfold, “Where the hell am I?” She yells.
“Hold her,” Sinclair says. As she struggles, you all begin to tie her to the bed. She punches you in the face as she fights everyone to find out where she is.
“Hold her hands! Fight it!” Bellamy says as you all are finally able to get her hands and feet restrained.
“Let me go!” She yells as you all watch her.
You walk out from the back with Clarke, Monty, and Sinclair to talk about a game plan. “How the hell do we get that thing out of her head?” You ask.
“Working on it,” Monty replies before Clarke talks to Niylah.
Bellamy walks back to you, “ You okay?” He asks, noticing you rub your face.
“Yeh. You?” You respond.
“Fine,” He responds.
You all file into a different room to figure out how Raven wanted to use the old wristband. “Niylah said we can work in here. So how do we do this?” Clarke says.
“We think Raven wanted to use this wristband to generate an EMP. Which is freakishly brilliant,” Sinclair explains as Monty inspects it.
“Meaning what?” Bellamy asks.
“A targeted electromagnetic pulse could destroy the chip’s circuitry. We could use this to send an EMP along Raven’s own nervous system. Just need to reverse the polarity, wire for external input, and attach a battery,” Sinclair further explains.
“But what would that do to her?” You ask.
“EMPs don’t affect our bodies. But I don’t know the mechanics of how this chip integrates with her brain,” Sinclair says.
“This was Raven’s plan. She wouldn’t do it if it was gonna destroy her brain,” Bellamy says.
“Depends how bad she wanted it out,” Octavia says, coming into the room.
“Regardless, without an electromagnet, this is just talk,” Sinclair says.
“Where do we get one?” You ask.
“The Ark. Every station had a pulsed inductive thruster for maneuvering,” Sinclair says.
“Arkadia’s out of the question. It’s too dangerous, you heard them,” Bellamy states.
“We use the dropship. It has PI thrusters just like the Ark,” Monty says.
“That’s good. Okay. I’ll go salvage the magnet,” Sinclair says.
“Uhh no. You should stay with Raven and figure out how this thing works. I’ll take the rover. Be back by the time you finish the device,” Monty says.
“I’ll go with you,” Octavia says.
“Guys!” You hear Jasper yell from the other room. You get into the room and see Raven trying to get her ties off and Jasper standing there and doing nothing.
“Stop her!” You urge.
“Jasper, get that side,” Bellamy says.
“She’s reopened her wounds. She’s gonna bleed to death. I need bandages.” Clarke says.
“Raven, stop fighting us,” You say as Clarke tries to clean up her wounds.
“Alie. Alie. Alie! Look at me. I know you can hear this. Why are you doing this to her? Let her go,” Jasper says.
“I’ll let her go when you give me what I want. The technology that Clarke carries, it belongs to me,” Raven says in a voice that's not hers.
“No way,” Clarke says.
“Clarke, just give it to her. Clarke!” Jasper says.
“If you let Raven die, you’ll never get it,” Clarke responds. All of a sudden, Raven stops struggling. “Untie her wrist. Hold her steady,” Clarke says and then works on fixing Raven’s shoulder.
“Clarke. She’s never gonna stop trying to get away. We can’t let her hurt herself again. Someone has to stay with her,” You state.
“I’ll be first watch. We’ll take turns,” Clarke says.
“You don't give the orders, Clarke,” Jasper erupts.
“Guess he doesn’t forgive you for murdering his girlfriend,” Raven says.
“Jasper, take a break,” You say before walking back into the front of the outpost.
“Hey, you good?” You hear Bellamy say from behind you.
“Just peachy,” You respond sarcastically. “You?”
“Could be better,” Bellamy says. “You sure you’re good?” He asks, rubbing where Raven punched you.
“Yeh. Just a little scratch,” You say and move his hand from your face.
“I’m sorry if I hurt you in any way,” He says.
“Sorry? You massacred an army that wouldn’t have attacked if it weren’t for you and Pike. Maybe we could’ve avoided this chaos if you stopped him,” You say.
“I understand what I did was wrong, but –” Bellamy starts before you hear Clarke yelling from inside the tradepost. The both of you rush in and pull Clarke out of the room.
“I’ll take next watch,” You say and head into the room with Raven. “Don’t even think about it, Alie, “ You say, knowing that she’ll try to get into your head too. Bellamy and Jasper come in to join you a few moments later, taking the seats on the other side of the table.
“Look at your united front,” Raven says. “Tell me, why do you give Bellamy a pass for murdering your girlfriend? What was her name?” Raven asks.
“Don’t talk about Maya, “ Jasper says under his breath.
“You don’t have to listen to this,” You say.
“Let’s protect Jasper. Jasper’s so sensitive. Jasper’s lost someone. Everyone cater to his feelings. We’ve all lost someone. You don’t see us falling apart. You don’t see us getting wasted. Being useless,” Raven taunts.
“No, you took a pill to take your pain away. You gave up your memories,” Jasper responds.
“But then, why should we expect anything more? You used to get high off people’s medicine. Being a selfish loser was your only move,” Raven says.
“Stop,” Jasper says.
“That’s all we see when we look at you. A coward. A waste of breath. Why do you even bother living? You’re weak. Pathetic. You can’t save me. You can’t even save yourself. You couldn’t save whats-her name,” Raven continues.
“You know her name!” Jasper bursts out.
“Jasper, think. It’s not Raven talking. And you’re giving her what she wants. Go, “You say to Jasper. He thinks a little bit before walking out of the room, realizing you were right.
“And then there were two. The two that couldn’t even save their own parents. Did you know that you two shared that? That you both killed your own parents? You,” Raven taunts, turning her head towards you. “You killed all those guards and yet still failed at saving him. In fact, you killed both of your parents. Even after stealing all that medicine, your mom still didn’t survive her sickness,” Raven says.
“You don’t know me or have a right to speak about my life,” You say.
“And now, you’re trying to run away from that life, the life of a comfortable, privileged, little girl with parents on the Council. You have been ever since you were locked up. Making sure no one knew who you used to be. Pretending to be someone who didn’t have the privileges that you did,” Raven continues.
“What makes you think that?” I question.
“And you,” Raven says, turning her head to Bellamy. “Does it bother you that you don’t get any credit for the genocide at Mount Weather? Clarke gets to be the Commander of Death, but you murdered all these people, too, and you’re just forgotten. Then again…you didn’t get any credit for the culling on the Ark, either. How many people suffocated when you threw away my radio? You know, at least Clarke was saving her own people. You were just saving your own ass. Of course, that’s nothing… compared to killing your own mom. Just. Like. Y/N. You just had to take little sister to her first dance. You might as well have just shoved Aurora out the airlock yourself. Do you think she would be proud of you now? For the kind of leader, you’ve become? Or would she see the truth, like the rest of us do?  That you're a follower. Clarke’s been back one day, and you’re already taking orders. Too bad you were never that devoted to Gina,” raven says.
“You don’t know what you’re talking about,” Bellamy says back.
“Don’t worry. Gina was already dead when mount weather blew up. And you avenged her, right? I mean, you picked up a gun and slaughtered an army that was sent to protect us. That had nothing to do with blowing sweet Gina to bits. But, hey, a grounders a grounder, right?” Raven says as Niylah enters the room.
“My father… you killed him,” Niylah says and slaps Bellamy.
“Niylah. Niylah. You can’t be in here,” Clarke says as she tries to drag her out.
“It’s too late. Raven’s already seen her. Alie knows we’re here,” jasper says, upset.
You follow Bellamy outside and watch as he kicks a barrel over. Knowing he’s upset. He starts to punch something, and you run towards him. “Bell, Bell. Hey,” You say, taking his hand into yours. “She’s getting into your head, trying to rile you up. Just like she’s done to the rest of us. You know what she said isn’t true,” You say.
“Yes, it is,” He responds.
“Look, yes. Some of the facts are right, but Alie. She doesn’t know the real you,” You say.
He sighs, “Are you ok? I mean the things–,” He starts.
“I’m fine,” You say as you hear a rover approach.
“You sure you don’t want to talk about it?” He asks.
“I’m fine,” You say and kiss his cheek. Luckily it was Monty and Octavia.
“What happened?” You ask as Monty just walks past both of you. You all make it back to the room Ravenn is in as Sinclair starts to explain when needs to be done.
“All we have to do is connect her and activate the electromagnet,” Sinclair says. You all start to work on getting everything set up, but Raven struggles and then begins banging her head on the back of the bed.
“She’s trying to kill herself,” Bellamy realizes. You all struggle to restrain her, but it's no use.
“Stop, and I’ll give you this,” Clarke says as she holds up the Flame. Raven immediately stops, and you quickly grab the wristband and put it on Raven.
“No, you lied! You lied! No. No, please, don’t. The MEP will give me brain damage. You know it will. Please, don’t do this,” Raven pleads.
“Don’t listen to her,” Octavia says.
“Please. You know it will! Sinclair, stop! Sinclair, no. No!” Raven continues to plead.
“We’ve only got one shot at this. EMP will fry the wristband, too,” Sinclair says.
“Do it,” Bellamy says. Once everything was ready, Sinclair quickly works to start the EMP.
“What’s happening?” You ask as it seemed like nothing had happened.
“Nothing. We need more power. The battery’s not strong enough,” Sinclair says.
“Well, then get one, that is,” Clarke says.
“The rover,” Monty responds. Monty and Bellamy go to grab the battery from the rover and switch it out for the other battery. Sinclair activates the EMP, and Raven screams out in pain before her body finally relaxes.
“She’s breathing,” You say as you feel her pulse.
“Raven? Come on, Raven. Hey. Come on, wake up,” Clarke says, shaking her.
“What are you doing?” Clarke says as Jasper hastily moves to the other side of the room.
“Don’t move!,” He says, placing the box with the Flame in it on the table.
“No. You can’t. No. Give it back,” Clarke says.
“Alie did that to Raven. She’s never gonna get this!” Jasper says as he gets ready to smash the Flame.
“Don’t! Stop. it’s Lexa. part of her is still in there. I saw them cut it out of her head. I’m not…” Clarke says before stopping herself.
“What is it?” Bellamy asks.
“Both the AIs were made by the same person. Both tap into human consciousness. They must work similarly, right?” Clarke asks.
“Well, there’s probably only one pathway to consciousness, so it’s possible, yeah,” Sinclair says.
“What does this have to do with anything?” Octavia asks.
“I’ve seen an AI get removed before. Help me get her on her side,” Clarke says, and you all work to move Raven. “Get that med kit from my bag,” Clarke requests and cuts into the back of Raven’s neck. Soon enough, a gross goo comes out of her neck.
“What is that?” You ask.
“It must be whatever’s left of the chip,” Sinclair says. Soon enough, Raven starts to wake up.
“I never thought i’d be so happy to see someone in pain,” Octavia says, noticing how stiff Raven is from all of the pain she put herself in.
“I could’ve saved my mom,” Monty says. Making you realize that his mom had died when they went to the Dropship. He walks out of the room before anyone could say anything.
“Alie knows we're here. We gotta move,” Bellamy says, and you all begin to pack up.
You go to wrap some cloth around the hand that Bellamy injured, “You’ll recover,” You say.
“Will I?” He responds. “What do you do when you realize…you might not be the good guy?” He questions.
“Maybe there are no good guys,” You respond. You start to walk off to help load the rover, but Bellamy grabs your arm.
“Hey. Are you sure you’re alright? You don’t want to tal–” Bellamy says.
“We need to go,” You say, pushing him off and going to load the rover.
“Hey. there’s one thing I don’t understand. Why did Alie want you to kill yourself?” Clarke asks Raven.
“Because I know why she wants a second AI,” Raven says.
“Why?” Bellamy questions.
“It’s the only thing that can stop her,” Raven reveals.
“Then let’s stop her. We survive together,” Octavia says, and you all get into the rover.
