I feel like every ship with Ted is a crackship bc this man simply should not be in a relationship (until he’s had extensive therapy at least)

Oh- I mean yeah, for sure. However! I do think that one of the great parts of some of these ships with Ted is his opportunity for growth. Just me personally y’know?

I think that while yes, he is in fact in desperate need of therapy, it’s hard for him to actually get to the point of actually seeking it. I imagine he gets there after a lot of talking things out with his partner, and a lot of getting over his pride. He is very self-aware, he absolutely knows that he is messed up, but he sees his way of dealing with it as reasonable, it’s how he’s learned to pretend he’s content. In reality, he knows he’s not, but- is he going to do anything about it? Hell no. At least that’s his perspective until he enters a relationship that isn’t one-sided or strictly sexual.

I see him learning how to be loved in a way he’s only expressed outwardly. He hadn’t received these kind of feelings since the whole Jenny incident, and it’s scary. But through this he can get over that fear of being left again, of falling for someone who would just leave him at the drop of a hat before he can really get out how he feels. And then he can see that therapy can actually help him. (Now it has been a good two months since I’ve watched Time bastard so this is all entirely based off of my memory and HCs for him).

But yeah, I just like to think about him and that sometimes, ESPECIALLy within the context of Holy Bastard. I don’t see them as a long term thing, but I definitely see it as a relationship that they both grow from. I have a whole note on my phone about it that’s filled with what is essentially the plot of a fic I do not have the skill nor dedication to write.

All that being said, yeah, Ted definitely needs therapy, but I don’t neccessarily think it has to come before a relationship.

Idk, I don’t think I’m very well-spoken but I think I’m getting my meaning across. I adore Ted and think his character has so much terrific potential.

WHAT A QUESTION.

I've let this marinate because I wanted to answer it seriously and I wanted to be right, I love being right.

-Discussion between Payakan and Lo'ak about Neteyam's death and guilt. Especially because of the name of the movie we've seen, I think this relationship is gonna be important. Neteyam is gonna haunt the fuck outta him this movie.

-Spider Sully struggles, like Jake claimed him but I think there's gonna be issues around that.

-Kiri will connect to the spirit tree again and meet with Grace again, I'm gonna guess it's without parental knowledge. More Eywa magic knowledge.

-I think there's gonna be a lot of work done with Tonowari and Jake trying to gather clans and fight. I'm on the fence about this but I think Ronal is gonna be all for it, especially after losing Roa.

-This one is general but I do think things are only gonna get worse for the squad. James Cameron and Jack Champion both said some spooky things about the ending of the third movie. Idk what the fuck else Neytiri can loose but I'm sure it'll somehow be worse for our girl. If I had to guess, I think the Quaritch being alive revelation won't occur until the end of the movie. I can see it being a big event and we are left with the fallout until the next movie.

I don't want to speculate too much because we have like NO information yet, but just from plot threads so far this is what I think.

it's all @uovoc's fault!! they told me about the anime while they were watching it for the first time, in such glowing terms i had to know what all the fuss was about. and then i mainlined the whole thing in like two weeks and spedran the entire spectrum of human emotions AND somehow came out the other side obsessed with the exorcists, which i do not think they were expecting when they recommended it to me. such is life.

Ok but Re: that gif of Wyll waking up. Did you notice how he just INSTANTLY wakes up? You barely get to touch him and he's already startled awake, almost like he was expecting something to disturb him in his sleep. . . Do you think he got used to sleeping lightly because of his travels and not having consistent places to sleep?

Because if so, I like to think that once he gets with Rana, he starts to let his guard down a bit, until he's safely passed out snoring in her arms <3

AWWW this is such a cute thought omg.... this is one of my favorite headcanons ever and I had a very similar one for my last ship from a former fandom. I love when characters who are not ever able to be vulnerable are suddenly capable of being vulnerable.... it's such a sweet thought and shows so much growth in each character ;-;!!!

Wyll definitely sleeps light and wakes up very easily, be it due to being out on the road for so long or due to Mizora's torment. He deserves to get cuddled by a 5'5 warm tiefling every night and feel safe....! Especially cute to think about with Rana never having someone like Wyll to make feel safe... it makes her feel good ;-;! What a cute hc aueee ;-;!!!!

Everything's quiet. Peaceful, even.

And then, like an oncoming storm, he hears the voice of his closest friend thundering down the hallways. Laslow grins even while rolling his eyes, detouring from his planned route to the greenhouse. Pebbles crunch underfoot as he cuts through a row of hedges.

"Odin Dark!" He shouts upon spotting that familiar yellow head. "Do my eyes deceive me? Where have you been, eh?"

Laslow halts before Odin, fighting to adopt a mock-serious expression. It doesn't work. His lips keep twitching, and laughter colors his voice. "Good to see you again, old friend."

fate is often foe, but in moments like these, it is a friend.

they are cut from the same cloth, he and laslow. they are bound together by shared scars, linked by a thread that remains intact after all these years, across all timelines and worlds. for once, odin is seemingly at a loss for words when he spots his old companion. what to call the feeling that burns in his chest? relief? affection? gratitude? perhaps all of the above. an emotion to be named at a later time.

odin can't help himself. "LASLOW OF THE AZURE SKIES!" he bellows in response, forgoing his practiced, regal stride for eager, quickened footsteps that meet his friend halfway. inigo of the indigo skies. so much to say. hopefully time is on their side now.

in his excitement, odin nearly skids into laslow. under normal circumstances, his cheeks would color with embarrassment, though no such thing happens. he flashes laslow a bright smile - a genuine one - and puffs out his chest. "IT APPEARS THAT OUR WILLS ARE ONCE MORE ENTWINED WITH FATE'S THREADS~!"

"old friend." a welcome sound to weary ears. there is no one owain trusts as much as inigo, and none who know him as intimately. "it's good to see you too." he beams. with that, he punches the other's arm playfully. "we should catch up. that is...if you're not busy."

odin eyes the other over, pleased with what he sees. what a welcome change it is to see his loved ones happy and well, rather than bloodied and beaten down. "i'm glad you're okay."

A NOTP I have with said character: Hmm... “Oh, Itsuki—! There you are. I was hoping I might borrow you for a couple hours this morning . . . ?” Ryunosuke's fussing over a plethora of ingredients he's set out on the counter, mentally going through a checklist for the umpteenth time: a guarantee that he has everything he needs and won't be forced to make a quick run to the market for an outstanding item. He tests the weight of a bag of flour again, then eventually swivels to meet the girl's eyes. “You, ah . . . might already have plans”—it is her birthday, after all—“and if so, please go attend them, but if not . . . I thought it might be fun to endeavor baking a shortcake together.”

And, no, this has absolutely nothing to do with his own lacking experience in that area—! (Or the worry that an attempt by his lonesome would not go . . . nearly as swimmingly.)

. . . Perhaps a little to do with that, but the main point is to spend time together, so there's no use holding it against him.

“We can decorate it however you like,” he bolsters, a smile spreading easily across his lips. “And if it doesn't turn out perfect, then . . . I suppose we'll have no choice but to eat it before anyone else has to see.”

THE SIGHT THAT WOULD GREET HER this early morning was just what was needed to rouse her out of her drowsy daze. And while a teensy bit caught off guard, it was nonetheless a PLEASANT SURPRISE that they would already be off to such an early start on this rather SPECIAL DAY! And so, with her curiosity piqued (And with one last gentle rub to her sleep encrusted eyes), Itsuki would look between the young lawyer, and the numerous items placed upon the countertop itself with a slight tilt of her head.

With a smile already lighting up her face, it would be through her BUDDING POWERS OF DEDUCTION-- that she would already figure out just what @tenacquity had planned this morning for the two of them. Just SECONDS before he himself would affirm it, of course~

And so, even before he was done speaking, the young one was already bouncing on over, as she took her place by his side. Taking a better gander at the ingredients spread across the tabletop itself, before grinning brightly up at him when he had ended it off with the two best things!

Getting to decorate it, and of course-- getting to eat it together right after!

"Ahhhh ah'd love to, bro! Ehehe, looks like we'll be bakin' an' gettin' BREAKFAST ready, huh?"

A SUGAR-FILLED BREAKFAST that would ruin a normal person's appetite for rest of the day-- BUT HEEEEEY, it's her birthday! So just let her have this!

And, oh gosh, he had even gotten so, SO MANY CAKE DECORATIONS to choose from. So many fruits, candies, chocolates-- and in so many flavors and colors! It really was going to be a blast when the time came for them pretty up their shortcake together! She just knows that it was gonna turn out A-MA-ZING!

Though, as she would cast a brief glance over to the rather large pack of flour to the side, she couldn't help but wonder for a moment over how the poor bro had brought ALL OF THIS over by himself! After all, even if he had carried them all over here in bags, it would still be a struggle for one person alone to do so! And all of this was just for lil' ol her, too!

And while she did have a few things to do today, they could most certainly wait until later. The bro had already pretty much called FIRST DIBS, with his polite lil' invitation in baking this shortcake together. And NO WAY, NO HOW would she be so foolish enough to reject this fun opportunity to spend some time together with him! Why, she almost already wanted to kick her ALTERNATE SELF'S BUTT for even DARING to do such a thing! ... Wherever she may be.

"Ah didn' know ya could bake, bro! Yer jus' the full package, ain't cha~?"

As they would begin to set up the bowls and utensils, Itsuki couldn't help but point this out (Not yet knowing the simple truth of it being otherwise). Simply full of GROWING ADMIRATION for the smart young lawyer, as she believed then that he had other talents that she has yet to learn about.

It really was just so sweet that he didn't just remember her birthday, but was taking time out of his clearly busy schedule to spend it with her. And so, after at least pouring out the flour and sugar into separate bowls, Itsuki would gesture to Ryuu to lean down for a moment so that he was closer to her eye level. Going on her tippy toes, as she leaned up then to peck his cheek in gratitude.

"Thank you fer this, bro~"
