Hello! This is my second Bi-Han fic which picks up after the last chapter of the first one, Eternally Yours. Feel free to read that one first before reading this one. I’m still quite nervous writing for Bi-Han, and it is proving to be a challenge but I’m having so much fun delving into his character, dialogue, and scenes. I’m doing my best to keep him true to character this time since there’s actually more material to work with now. Still, I appreciate any feedback and kudos you may have. Sorry if this came out very cringe 🥺 I tried my best but hope you guys enjoy this story.

Kimiko Hasashi has always been a very bold, assertive and diligent personality and tends to be mischievous and hot headed like her father. In which many clansman in the Shirai Ryu clan would see her as very rebellious and aggressive.

Her fiery personality and fighting spirit had caught the attention of many suitors as one of them was the Grandmaster’s eldest son Bi Han.

He found Kimiko very attractive and beautiful in many ways but he wasn’t the only one attracted to her. The Grandmaster’s second son Kuai Liang had developed romantic feelings for her.

Since they both were old playmates before she was arrange into marriage with Bi Han at her eighteenth year birthday for the Lin Kuei and the Shirai Ryu to have a very strong alliance.

Hanzo and Harumi Hasashi wanted their own daughter to focus on her training and career as a medical doctor since she has a passion of learning medicine and helping people out.

So both parties agreed that Kimiko would be married to Bi Han when she turns twenty three. Over the months, she and Bi Han started to try getting to know each other as they both are now betrothed to each other and will wed soon.

However, in those months of getting to know each other Bi Han began to change more as the recent death of his mother had taken a toll on him as he no longer was man she once knew.

Bi Han became very arrogant and cold towards Kimiko, as he would often verbally bully Tomas for not being Lin Kuei blood and how his father was a fool for adopting him into the family. Kimi would spend a lot of time in Fire Temple after she decided to pursue her medical career.

Her parents were supportive of her decisions and decided that she’ll focus on her own things for the time being. Bi Han could care less of what his soon to be wife does as he only cares about the Lin Kuei and gaining the respect they deserve instead of being shackled to a God.

Then it happened, years later his father died from unknown causes (Bi Han killed him) as Kimiko realized this was not the man she once fell in love with. Her and Bi Han would have very nasty arguments which led her to seek comfort from Kuai Liang who loved and supported her.

Even if she chose his older brother as her soon to be husband, Kuai Liang never stop loving her and would do anything to ensure her safety and happiness. Hanzo and Harumi began to cut ties with the Lin Kuei after their new Grandmaster began to do some unquestionable decisions.

“Was all this nothing, Bi Han!” Kimiko yelled as her soon to be husband who scoff and gave a scolding expression. “I don’t have time for any romantic relationships let alone marriage.” He said angrily as Kimiko clench her fist tightly.

“So the love you showed me was fake! I thought you were good man but I guess I got my hopes up to quickly.” Kimiko said angrily as Bi Han felt something break inside him as he watch his ex fiancée walk away from him but quickly turned back to his usual cold and vicious demeanor.

So life continued on as Kimiko slowly began to distance herself from Bi Han and ignore him whenever he and his brothers would visit the Fire Temple or Wu Shi Academy. But she still spoke and hung out with Kuai Liang who was very supportive of her and was there for her.

She would often feel someone watching her every move as Kimiko knew that it was Bi Han. He watch in anger at how close her and Kuai Liang became over the years. He wish things would turn out differently but he can’t go back.

He watch from afar in anger and despair when his brother confess his love to Kimiko. She once belong to him but his ambition and pride drove her away and seek comfort from his brother.

“I love you Kuai Liang. I thought Bi Han would be a change man but he became a monster. I’m sorry for every pain I have caused you.” She said as she and Kuai Liang spoke privately after she, Kuai Liang and Tomas were casted as traitors.

“You don’t need to apologize, I’m here for you and I won’t leave you alone. I love you Kimi. You mean the world to me and my brother was a fool as he lost a beautiful and loving woman.” He said softy as he brought Kimiko into a hug.

“We will stop Bi Han and the Lin Kuei. Tomas, Riko and I are here to support you. I’m here for you and I will make sure that the Lin Kuei are stop.” He said as he gently kiss his wife before they sat in silence in each other’s arms. They will stop at nothing until Bi Han is defeated.

“How is she, mother?” Kimiko said softly as her mother place fresh new bandages on Riko who was injured very badly by Quan Chi. She had a large slash across her body and facial scarring.

Harumi Shirai sigh softly and gave her a sorrow expression. “She’s stable but she lost way too much blood. If you would’ve waited a bit long she wouldn’t have made it.” Her mother said.

Kimiko clenched her hands into a tight fist as her anger towards Quan Chi and Shang Taung intensified more as they hurt her little sister. Riko was family and means a lot of everyone mostly to Tomas who loves her unconditionally.

She watch in guilt and sadness at Tomas who held Riko’s hand tightly against his own cheek. Kimiko stood up and excuse herself to allow the two love birds some privacy as Riko means a lot to everyone especially to her brother-in-law.

As much as it hurts her to face Bi Han in battle, she won’t hesitate to spill blood to ensure the safety of others and will make sure he is stop.

Hope you guys enjoy this story that I made, very sorry if it’s about an oc. I wanted to do something different. The yandere story has started being work on but it may take some time for me to finish it. I’m very sorry for the lack of content as life has been bullying me.

Kuai Liang hit ‘send’ and pocketed his phone, ignoring the sudden buzzing as he set off to find Tomas and Hanzo.

Bi-Han screwed his eyes shut at the sensation against his leg. “Who’s spamming the chat now?” Tora groaned as she pulled out her phone to see the notification. Bi-Han rubbed at his eyes with his free hand as he adjusted to semi-consciousness.

“That would be Johnny responding to a message from Kuai,” she replied.

“What was his message?”

“To quote, ‘Do not wake the beasts lest you incur their wrath’.” He exhaled slowly and tightened his grip on her waist, nuzzling into her hair.

“He’s preventing unnecessary homicide,” he mumbled. Tora nodded and replaced her head on his chest.

“Let’s thank him when we wake up,” she said as his affirmative rumble lulled them both back to sleep.

Oops. Uh... Sorry?

The one-eyed one man wrecking crew stalked through the rain drenched streets and alleys, looking for someone. Unbeknownst to him... a man in black was stalking him. The sort of man even the most determined of boogeyman would avoid.

The one-eyed man's target was a few meters ahead, outside of a Cafe. She was a young woman, a bit short, trim, dark blue hair, and about to go inside.

"Bugger. I'll have to try again later, I'm late and she isn't gonna come out. Pay had better be worth it." One-Eye storms off. Curious as to what the young woman had done to attract the notice of such a brute, the Man in Black lurked quietly under a convenient dark awning in view of the door. He was next door, and could see the young woman buy a drink to go. She paid, and stepped back outside.

The Man in Black walked up behind her, cloaked in the darkness. The young woman pivoted, and slashed at him with a knife. She stopped herself just before the strike could land.

"Oops. Uh, I'm sorry. I thought you were the One-Eyed weirdo."

"You did not strike me, it is fine." The Man in Black offers a hand. "I am called Bi-Han. Are you in danger?"

"Romashka, and I'll be fine, thank you. He tries to kidnap me at least once a week, but never succeeds."

"Accurate for the Black Dragon. It is clear you are not safe, I am walking you home."

"Normally, I'd protest, but I doubt that would work, would it?" Bi-Han shakes his head no. "As you like, then. Might I suggest going the long way? It's about two blocks longer, but it's probably less risk. As you say, it's not safe here."

"Wise. Shall we go?" He offers his arm, and she accepts. They walk, making quiet small talk. Romashka leans her head on his shoulder. They reach her home, and are standing on her front steps.

"Thank you for being so kind, Bi-Han. Would you like to come in?" He pauses before he answers.

"I should not, but I often do things that I should not." While his face was hidden by his helm, there was a hint of mischief in his voice. She smiles, and unlocks the door. They walk in through the kitchen to the living room.

"I think, for going out of your way tonight on my behalf, I owe you at least an apology drink. Please, have a seat on the sofa, and I'll be back shortly." He was about to tell her she didn't need to apologize, but she was already back in the kitchen, door closed. A clatter of pots and pans, running water, rummaging in the refrigerator, and various cooking sounds were heard. While Romashka was busy elsewhere, Bi-Han glanced at the room around him.

It was... not what he expected to a degree. While she did have a computer, there didn't seem to be a TV. There were a lot of books, ranging from herbal medicine to home repair to books on philosophy, more than a few science fiction and fantasy titles, and... a whole wall shelf of horror titles. On top of the shelves, nestled on an old battered hardcover of "'Salem's Lot", was a large ginger cat, snoring loudly. One fluffy yellow-orange foot dangled off the edge.

Romashka came back a moment later, carrying a tray with two ceramic cups, and a small fondue set. There was the handle of the ladle poking out of its slot. Whipped cream, marshmallows, and shaved chocolate were also there.

"Sorry I don't have anything more... adult. I typically am not a big drinker."

"You attempt to stab me, and then bring me home for hot chocolate? You are adorable."

"Not the compliment I was expecting, but... thank you, Bi-Han. Do you prefer whipped cream or marshmallows?"

"Cream." Awkward pause. "That... sounded better in my mind." Romashka laughs, and prepares his drink. She sprinkles a little shaved chocolate on top, and hands him the drink. There's a straw in it. This makes him chuckle softly. The deep rumble wakes up the ginger cat, whom tumbles to the floor. The cat sits up, and blinks at them in confusion. Then proceeds to deathglare them after they laugh.

"That's Old Toby. He came with the house when I bought it, back then he was Young Toby. He's a strange little lump of fur, but he's mine."

"He is... something. He came with the house?"

"Not as part of the deal, but when I toured the place before I bought it he snuck in with me, annoying the realtor. She tried shooing him out, but a tiny kitten has a lot of good hiding options. I had just finished a pretty major project, and had enough to buy the house from royalties alone. I write for a living, mostly video games. My dad says that's not real writing, but he's not a video gamer. He has no idea. Anyway, I closed on the house that afternoon, then took a trip to the local pet shop on my way back. And he's been here ever since. He's a lazy boy, never caused a lot of havoc even as a kitten. But, he's also the easiest editor I ever worked with."

The rest of the evening is spent in pleasant small talk, sipping hot chocolate. Midway through his second cup, Romashka starts to yawn. He sets down his cup, and stands up. He stretches.

"It is late. I should go. Thank you for the hot chocolate, Romashka."

"Oh. Wow... let me walk you to the door, Bi-Han." They walk through the kitchen. Before she opened the door, Romashka felt him grab her hand.

"I enjoyed meeting you, Romashka. Thank you. I will be seeing you more often."

"I bet that usually sounds a lot more threatening, but somehow I'm not frightened in the least. In fact... I look forward to it. I'm starting to like you, Bi-Han. Come by when you can." She steps closer to him, gently wraps her arms around his shoulders. Bi-Han pauses a moment, then... hugs her back. After a moment, they let go.

"Goodnight, Romashka."

"Goodnight, Bi-Han." She opens the door, he steps out. Wonders never cease... he might have made an actual friend. Bi-Han heads out into the night.

2024/4/16 ❅ "honeymoon" update

hello & happy spring !

this is an announcement to say that "honeymoon" and "the lin kuei archives" have now been hidden in a private collection on ao3. I didn't want to do this, but I've become exhausted trying to monitor what happens to my work and where it goes and who's using it. it's unfortunate, but it's absolutely killed any motivation I've had to write whatsoever, let alone post an update! plus, it's devastating to see sometimes entire scenes and sentences from my work showing up on other platforms (including this one) even though I've taken every precaution I could think of to prevent this sort of thing from happening. I don't know, maybe I'm too soft for the kind of 'fandom culture' that exists today lol (but personally I've never seen so much plagiarism of fan works ever, to be honest...)

regardless, I hope to eventually complete "honeymoon" in the future, as there are still about 6 chapters to go, but at this time, I'm taking a hiatus, and I don't know for how long... I'm sorry! 🥺 (my hope was to complete it by the end of the summer, we'll see though)

⇰ He will meet you while he was helping his brother create the Shirai Ryu. It won't take long for him to develop feelings for you, real feelings. Only he will decide to keep them for himself for a while.

⇰ You will have to take the first step and the young man will be delighted by this budding relationship. But there will only be a short honeymoon phase.

⇰ Once the Shirai Ryu have enough students to begin real training Tomas will be less and less present. The ninja will leave you sweet words, as well as flowers to fill the gap, but that will not change anything about the void.

⇰ The more time passes, the more he will feel stressed. What if what happened with the Lin Kuei happened again with the Shirai Ryu ?! This thought will take over everything and unfortunately he will become obsessed with justice and keeping the right path.

⇰ Quickly Tomas stopped paying attention to you, staying up several nights in a row to fill out papers that Kuai Liang should fill out. The Shirai Ryu will become the only thing on his mind and you will be hidden in a small corner of it. Your relationship won't be officially over but it will be just like that, although Tomas, deep down, still loves you.
