LARRY & LAWRIE HEADCANNONS

Because they took over my brain after Kit betrayed me- (headcannons after the cut)

I’ve never really made one of these types of post before and don’t know if I’ll ever make more, but I just suddenly got struck with the need to share my ideas with these two and I don’t personally know people as into Brawl Stars as I am so making this post is the best way I could think of! Maybe if this gets received well I’m make more but no guarantees.

Anyway sorry for this pre-ramble, onto the actual headcannons:

Larry focused, Lawrie focused, Both

•Larry uses He/They pronouns, while Lawrie uses just They/Them

• Larry & Lawrie have a sort of Bluetooth-like connection between them. If one gets too far out of range, they both lose some or all of their functionality, which is why they’re never seen too far from each other.

•Their connection range is actually pretty generous, so they could go off and do their own things around the park. But they would still need to work around each other’s schedules to stay in range which can be a hassle, so it’s usually only on special occasions. (Much to Larry’s dismay)

•Larry is the much more social one, and while he does genuinely love spending time with his sibling, they desperately want to be able to spend more time hanging out with others on his own.

•Despite Larry’s extroverted nature he doesn’t actually have a lot of friends because they’re a bit of a buzzkil

•Lawrie tries (and usually fails) to hide it, but they’re extremely overprotective of Larry. Rushing into battles to protect him and following them around the park even if Larry asks them not to.

•for example of the previous: One time Larry was walking through the garden, thinking they were finally alone when Lawrie jumps in out of nowhere and just obliterates a bush having completed missed a little bunny. When Larry gets mad Lawrie explains that they thought there was a dangerous animal following him.

•Larry doesn’t get why Lawrie is so protective of him, but he is similar protective of R-T (albeit to a much smaller extent)

•Lawrie held a grudge on that bunny for embarrassing them. That specific bunny seems to intentionally menace them constantly and they consider it their enemy.

•While Lawrie is a bit of a tsundere about their brotherly love, they’re not one in general. They just genuinely dislike most people.

•The two of them fight, argue and insult each other a lot, but if anyone else saying anything rude to the other they both go sicko mode. Lawrie especially has no mercy.

•Lawrie punches people in the arm a lot. Totally unrelated, (/s) Larry’s arm is always sore

•Larry LOVES the Princess Diaries series! When they found out Fang also likes it (R-T told him) he spent a whole day binging the series with Fang in an empty theater

•As implied in the pervious, Larry occasionally gossips with R-T. He knows it’s wrong and feels guilty about it, but it’s too interesting for them to resist it.

•Lawrie has to keep tell R-T to stop gossiping, and Larry to stop enabling it. It doesn’t work but they try.

GRAY — BRAWL STARS

belele u didn’t specify so i took this request and RAN

GRAY is silent, selectively mute if you say, on set. Sure he has smalltalk with some of the other brawlers, but its not much. He only really enjoys talking to you, alone. One on one talking has always been really important for him in a relationship.

Gray doesn’t care for what the conversation is about. (Although he mostly listens to your rambles) He doesn’t care if it’s absolutely dumb or meaningless. He loves hearing your silk, honey-filled voice. “Like music to my ears” he says.

Though some days, when he comes back from a film, he talks, a lot. You don’t know why, but something about coming back from a long film day, has him wanting to spill everything to you. To distinguish all the thoughts that had been flowing on his mind that particular day.

Which kinda makes you flustered in a way. His deep raspy voice finally coming out after hours of not communicating much. It drives you crazy.

Gray also enjoys the silence when you guys are in bed, holding onto each other. It makes him feel hole as you snuggle up against his neck and his arm drapes over you. He loves these types of days where you guys are too lazy and tired to get up or talk. So you just bathe in each others presence while birds chirp outside the window of the complex you live in.

I feel like he lays on the couch after putting his coat and hat on a rack. He sighs deeply as his relaxes his head on the arm of it.

“How was your day, love?” Gray holds his hands on his abdomen, awaiting your response as you prepare dinner.

“It was good, how was film day? Did it tire you?” your gentle voice echoing from the walls of the complex, he hears the plates clinging. Which alerts him that dinner is almost done.

“Yes, I’m sorry I took so long to get home. Brawlers kept interrupting during cutscenes.” He lets out a deep breathe as silence fills the room.

“I’m a little more tired than usual, forgive me dear.” he breaks the silence as shuffling from you taking off the apron fills the air.

“Don’t worry about it, we can eat dinner later if you’d like. I’ll heat it up when you’re ready.” He hears the gentle smile in your voice as you hover over him and kiss his cheek.

“I’m so glad I met someone like you.” Gray whispers as he doozes off to sleep.

✰ — EDGAR DOESN’T SHOW MUCH AFFECTION TO YOU at first. he covers it up by saying it’s “stupid” but you both know he’s just shy. but after a few months into your relationship he starts to open his lonely heart to you, and he knows it’s the best thing he could’ve ever done in his life. holding you close makes him feel a burst of unexplainable beautiful emotions, he wants to feel these kind of things forever with you.

✰ — EDGAR OPENS UP TO YOU ABOUT HIS INTRESTS, too. sometimes he loses track of time while talking to you about this new videogame or this new hard rock album from his favorite band. he looks like a kid excited for his new toy. and you do tell him that, you also tell him he’s very cute completely absorbed into his talk.

✰ — SOMETIMES HE FEELS LIKE HE’S NOT ENOUGH FOR YOU, and when he confronted you, he was about to receive a slap on his cheek, but luckily for him you have enough self-control to not do that. but you don’t save him from a lecture about how he shouldn’t think these things, he’s perfect for you and you don’t want him to change or thinking he’s not worth it.

✰ — HE ASKS YOU TO PLAY VIDEOGAMES WITH HIM all night, this is usually the kind of dates you two like. you often play co-op games and it’s so funny to see edgar screaming you what you have to do. you also play in single player and you two cheer up one another when it isn’t your turn to play. edgar cheers on you a lot and eventually teaches you how to play if you don’t know.

✰ — “GO LEFT, SHOOT THAT FUCKER ON THE ROOF, SWITCH YOUR WEAPON, DO—” you roll your eyes and look at your boyfriend for a brief moment. “edgar, i know what i am doing, i’m the reason why you know this game!” his cheeks redden a little while he looks away. “sorry.”

I’m thinking Lily is Rosa’s sister, no real reason, i just think it would be cool.

i think the “enchanted forest” is a greenhouse next to the biodome. it was initially just a garden with a lot of toxic plants, which is why Cordelius wears a respirator.

it has a some sort of connection to the shadow realm, which is like if the greenhouse/dome was an entity that took over the entire park, the weirdness from the biodome season probably seeped through from the shadow realm.

Cordelius somehow got trapped in the shadow realm and went insane, as well as gaining dominion over it. he also uses the respirator to breathe the plants fumes rather than keep them out now.

Lily got involved somehow and is just larping her way through everything Marcy Wu style

HC TIME!!

I’ve had this in mind for a long while now, but I like to HC Colt as an extreme perfectionist. He genuinely becomes antsy and restless when things aren’t the way they should be—or perhaps a photo frame is slightly off from its usual position. This perfectionist applies to his appearance as well. He has to make sure everything is perfect, including himself.

Shelly found this out pretty quick when Colt started freaking out because she dropped a frame and went to put it back up but it wasn’t in the exact same position as before….

LARRY AND LAWRIE HEADCANNONS #2!!

Because holy crap the first one got so much positive attention- (again, headcannons after cut cuz I’m gonna yap for a sec)

Thanks to everyone who enjoyed the first one! It’s my most popular post ever and I’m glad it was so well received. I really hope this is a good follow up! Feel free to let me know if you want more Brawl Stars headcannons going forward cuz I’d be happy to make them.

Anyway it’s finally headcannon time!

Larry focused, Lawrie focused, Both

• Larry’s favorite music genre is literally elevator music (Lawrie likes rock!)

•Both of them hate the Cops theme song, they think it’s very annoying. Doesn’t help that park guest and other brawlers (*cough* Nita and Leon *cough*) tease them with it

• At first, Lawrie didn’t let Larry have a weapon since “they’re dangerous and you don’t need one” but Larry managed to craft his ticket wheel into an explosive weapon somehow and Lawrie was just too afraid/impressed to not let him have it

•They both live in the park’s security station. Specifically, Larry took an unused storage closet and made it into an actual little bedroom, while Lawrie just sleeps in their office (if they sleep at all)

•Lawrie collects bobble heads. They make him smile

•Larry really likes baking! Not to eat the sweet treats (since he can’t even if he wanted to), but he just loves the process of making them. He often bakes cookies with Pearl

•He has no clue that Pearl is related to the Gold Arm Gang somehow. They’ve seen her with them but it just somehow has never clicked and probably never will

•Lawrie does know, but they just think Pearl is harmless enough. The second any other Gold Arm member even gets close to Larry though, they’re ready to strike

•Larry is a hypochondriac even though he can’t even get sick. Lawrie is kinda similar, but they’re just a neat-freak. Either way, everywhere the two go is getting deep cleaned and disinfected

•Lawrie gets a ton of coloring books for R-T since they see R-T as like a little kid and don’t know what else to get them.

•Larry is really good at engineering, and makes elaborate “mouse trap” like contraptions to try and catch criminals. They also make little mini robots! Those don’t have any consciousness but he treat they like his children all the same

•Lawrie pretends they don’t like the little robots, but they will protect those little guys with their life if they have to

•Lawrie’s idea of “fun” is challenging Larry to little games that test their knowledge on all the parks rules (Don’t worry cuz Larry thinks it’s fun too)

•If you bring it up to them, both Larry and Lawrie the living embodiments of anti-smoking/drinking/gambling ads

•People will often sneak up behind Larry and put stickers on them to poke fun at him. He never notices until Lawrie takes them off. He keeps them in a sticker book because they think it means people like him

•No one puts any stickers on Lawrie because he’s just impossible to sneak up on and will punch someone if they try

•They own a cat! Larry found a little Calico kitten and went annoying little brother mode until Lawrie agreed to keep it

•Lawrie hated the idea of having an animal around, but much like a middle aged dad they’re now the one who spoils the cat the most

may i humbly request some poco headcanons for this au..

Oh gosh Poco my boy- ask and you shall receive! (This one is VERY long thank you for your time 🛐🛐)

Poco's death, as of now, is unknown, even to him. One day, he woke up as a skeleton, clutching his trusty guitar. He always had a soul full of music and went off to explore this seemingly new world.

His attacks in this AU are quite similar, with his musical strums carrying quite a punch! Mostly, he plays a more upbeat tune to heal hid allies.

Currently I am working to redesign him slightly, but I have some notes to add on his design! His entire body is just the skeleton, no fur or feathered parts at all. In the redesign, I want him to wear some fake fur and feathers to replicate a fluffy, more friendly looking dragon.

The reason he wears fake fur and feathers is because as he played just as a skeleton with a hat and a tailored suit, he scared off some younger kids with his bones. Now, he's much more fluffy looking and approachable, especially for the younglings. He also uses small claw protectors on his hands so that he doesn't accidentally break his guitar strings (they are reinforced as well in case).

He slowly started to gain fame with his music as he explored the world, bringing songs that had a distinct ring to it. They were always a joy to listen to. Minus a few sour notes here and there, it's agreed that Poco is just very fun to watch perform.

It was in his expeditions with music that he met El Primo and Amber, fellow performers with their own craft. El Primo was an up and coming luchadar, while Amber was still finding what niche she could do in this growing world of entertainment.

Extra notes on Amber: She might've been a ribbon dancer or a baton twirler at this point! Her performances in the sky were really quite nice. She was happy, though other performers caught wind and were inevitably better than her, even with all the efforts she put in. This later led to her practicing with fire dances, as she learned her feathers were fireproof.

Back to Poco, while he played songs and did have a nice fanbase, they sadly left him for a bigger and much more popular band. This is based on old descriptions in-game. At this time, he nearly fell into a lot of sadness, feeling alone again as when he woke up after becoming a skeleton. He fell into a creative slump during this time.

When all hope was lost, El Primo and Amber helped him back on his feet to find his rhythm again. They stuck with their friend no matter what anyone thought. Now he's slowly building up his fanbase again at the park, becoming much more successful!

He's still part of the Bad Randoms band. He got invited on a few years back from Stu, who had seen a small show of his one day at a tavern. He and Stu became good pals a while back (I mean, who could be friends with Poco), and when Stu met him again he invited him on with a band that he and Buzz were forming. Buzz liked his vibes and they've been rocking ever since 🤘

Sometimes, he gets dreams of his time when he was alive. They're faint and far in between, but it slowly becomes clear it wasn't...recent. He'd been down under for a good few years, at least. Once he woke up crying, apparently seeing some loved ones in the dream. His heart, though now bound by magic, still missed them. If only he could remember their names.

Poco can play quite a few instruments! The guitar, ukulele, bass, banjo, harp, and keyboard. Oh, and maracas! He's got a whole collection at home 😎

He has a prehensile tail, which helps him carry his guitar.

He's very light, kind of like holding a couple of grapes /ref (seriously though, on average he's very lightweight. His bones were hollow as he was able to fly before, but now he cannot. Sometimes he gets dreams of flying, but it sort of spooks him out, even if it is fun.)

He has a lovely singing voice! Poco can do a few solid imitations of other brawlers' voices, and sometimes, they even help in brawls to disorient enemies in the bushes.
