Briar Jenkins was born and raised in the picturesque landscapes of Michigan, where the whispers of the forest and the gentle caress of the lakes shaped her childhood. From an early age, Briar possessed an innate magnetism that drew people to her, a quality that would later propel her into the spotlight as a well-known influencer.
At the age of 25, feeling the pull of ambition and adventure, Briar made the bold decision to leave her hometown behind and embark on a new chapter in the bustling city of London. With her captivating presence and eye for aesthetics, she quickly carved out a niche for herself in the world of social media, captivating audiences with her glamorous lifestyle and curated snapshots of her life.
Despite the outward success and admiration she garnered online, Briar struggled beneath the surface with her own demons. The pressures of maintaining her image and the relentless demands of social media took their toll, leading her down a dangerous path of addiction to pills. Behind the carefully crafted facade of her Instagram feed, she battled the darkness within, using her fame and platform to conceal her struggles from the world.
Periodically, Briar would return to Michigan, seeking solace in the familiar embrace of her roots and the unconditional love of her family. These trips served as a respite from the frenetic pace of her life in London, a chance to reconnect with the simplicity of her childhood and find a moment of peace amidst the chaos of her addiction.
Now, as Briar finds herself once again preparing to journey back to Michigan, she feels a mix of excitement and trepidation. The invitation to a cabin retreat with a few close friends offers her a much-needed escape from the relentless pressures of her busy schedule, a chance to unwind and reconnect with those she holds dear. But beneath the surface lies the ever-present weight of her addiction, a secret she carries with her wherever she goes.

Briar's Instagram feed isn't just a curated display of her life; it's also a form of artistic expression and a means of coping with her inner turmoil. Through photography and creative captions, she channels her emotions and struggles into her content, using it as a cathartic outlet.
Despite the geographical distance, Briar maintains a close relationship with her family back in Michigan. They provide her with unwavering support and serve as a constant source of strength and comfort, even as she grapples with her addiction.
Behind the glamorous facade of her influencer lifestyle, Briar longs for genuine connection and understanding. Despite her large following and social circle, she often feels isolated and alone, yearning for someone who can see past the facade and accept her for who she truly is.
Despite the challenges she faces, Briar is determined to overcome her addiction and find a sense of inner peace. She recognizes that true healing requires vulnerability and courage, and she's slowly learning to let go of the fear that holds her back from seeking help and support.
Briar is a perfectionist by nature, constantly striving to maintain the flawless facade she presents to her followers. This drive for perfection fuels her addiction, as she feels the need to keep up appearances at all costs, even if it means sacrificing her own well-being.

@bellsliturgy ( V. ) : 🚬 - v (still with arasaka) lighting bri's cigarette uwu | misc action memes ( accepting )
A daily routine. Fifteen minute breaks between meetings in the morning, afternoon, and evening faithfully inserted into a hectic schedule. Just enough time for a jaunt down the hall and a lift up to the atrium to change the scenery, inhale more filtered oxygen, and complete a round of neuromotor relaxation exercises. Supposed to relieve stress or so says her life coach. Thankfully she has access to pharmaceuticals that work a bit better. Many employees seek the same on this level, but usually for a smoke.
Elbows lean against the glass banister, cold hands folded out front, a blank gaze peering down at the floor far below; corpos scurrying onto their next task like ants. Mind is definitely not relaxing. An offer of a cigarette from behind first turns her chin before optics give a quick scan for recognition. Bold move for a mid-tier to try and schmooze with another dept’s director. Motive is as of yet unclear but certainly there is one. “Very kind of you, but I don’t smoke.” A polite smile. Posture straightening to pin straight as she properly faces him. “You work under Jenkins, is that correct?”

Idk why but I tend to side eye Bri Jenkins, because she’s a fan girl, and is fan of Danneel. She’s said that she loves OTH and could talk about it for hours. I’ve seen it one too many times where people will disregard their fave celebs actions, give them the benefit of the doubt, and defend them, because it’s their fave. I don’t want to think like that but I honestly can’t help it, ever since I learned that fact. Someone also told me she’s on the random acts board as well. Maybe she has called Danneel out, in a subtle nice way, without making it look like she’s attacking her. Since it’s known Danneel can’t handle criticism well.
Fully agree. Any authentic activist watching that live surely noticed Bri drooling over Danneel and ignoring her comments about the whitewashing. She disregarded it all in favor of Danneel. In the end, the live just ended up looking like a white woman bragging about how special she is because she's an "activist" and how she knows better than everyone else (but the people who were attacking her were doing so due to her whitewashing so...), they achieved the exact opposite of the live theme and it was embarrassing to watch. I hope Bri will get a chance to do things outside of interacting with Danneel, for now she seems to be blind to the dynamic that is being created, it's the exact opposite of everything she stands for. She basically allowed a white woman to twist the narrative however she wanted and ignored something as serious as whitewashing MLK. I guess when you're famous because you're married to Jensen you can be as privileged as you want, to the point of getting to whitewash MLK with no consequence? I just have no words, Danneel is the epitome of ignorance and arrogance.

@n8city ( Dohyun Kang, Night City Director of Counter-intel ) for “eavesdrop” and my muse will describe your muse like they’re talking to a third party ( accepting )
With Vez running an extension of an international campaign in NUSA, it seems her sister’s corner office becomes her second one. The younger one slides in, uses the fancy drink machine for an espresso or two, lounges on one of the many couches to do a few menial tasks, before sliding back to the confines of her own temporary dept. Brianne never minds it and with schedules shared and each respecting the other’s need for quiet, there’s no conflict.
This afternoon, however, Vez notices a displeased look on her sister’s face as soon as she enters. Brianne is on the computer, staring at a message. A cup of tea is at the side, but steam no longer wafts above it.
“You look mildly annoyed.” Vez drawls on her usual stroll over to the drink machine.
The comment causes Brianne pause; she locks her jaw in a bid not to vent but fails two seconds later. “Do you know of the new director in Counter-intel? The one who replaced Jenkins.”
Vez is perched aside the bar, the button for an espresso already pushed. “Kang. Yeah, what of him?”
Brianne leans back into her chair, crossing her arms. Might as well have a little chat. “What do you make of him?”
A nonchalant shrug comes first. The Black Ops agent deals more with HQ, but her international operations do gain a level of oversight from local depts. “Hear he’s a bit of an asshole. Has a ladder of bodies that got him to that job.”
Brianne sighs. Always one of those. Depts such as Counter-intel, SpecOps, and the like seem to attract the worst.
“Giving you problems, eh?” Vez prods, a smirk growing, as she watches the coffee slowly drip. Her dear sister is a lamb among wolves.
“One could say that. Honestly. At least Jenkins wore his egotism on his sleeve. Kang. He’s so —” Brianne pauses, not sure of the appropriate insulting descriptor. “Smarmy.”
“Let me guess. He doesn’t like Oversight putting its nose too far into his dept.”
“Our nose is in every dept,” Brianne corrects firmly. “It’s just that his agents are the most at risk and put the corp most at risk. We can’t afford another Frankfurt. My requests are not unreasonable.” Defensively, she states, a palm raising. “It’s simply cooperative.”
“Don’t think this guy’s about teamwork, Bri. Wouldn’t push it.”
Brianne takes a deep breath; she loathes the constant toil of internal threats keeping her from doing her primary job.
Curious, Vez leaves the counter to round the desk and stand behind her sister. Taking a look at her computer screen, she sees what she expected: a message from Kang pulled up with response typed but unsent. “Hm. Leaving out the Kind from your Regards, are we? Very forceful,” dryly she drawls.
“Yes, well.” Brianne goes to take a sip of her tea only to realize its run cold. Another sigh. Decision then moves her to type in the missing Kind before sending it. She’ll just deal with it as she always does, with politeness and a smile.

danneelackles512: This is my gorgeous, always inspiring, birthday buddy, when you hear their voice you instantly start smiling and never stop friend, Briona “Bri” Jenkins( she/her/hers) @brionajenkins
She is a super woman who gives unselfishly to our community and has dedicated her life to bringing about real social change through action and education.
Bri is the founder of BJC, Briona Jenkins Consulting, where she helps organizations and companies become more accessible, diverse, equitable, and inclusive. She offers training and seminars in these areas. This is her passion, and we as a community all benefit from her work. She is also a new board member of @RandomActsOrg with me, which I could not be more excited about.
I was fortunate enough to sit down with Bri on her podcast (yeah..she does that to too) “The Tea with Bri”, and have an intimate catch up on all we have experienced in the past year. Give it a listen and a follow @theteawithbri She has a multitude of fascinating guests, which is not adequately represented by my appearance. But… hey, we are friends and I begged to be on!
*Warning the theme song by @mama.duke is extremely addictive.
