A Manifesto:

I have come to understand that Crabtopia might not be a 100% accepted truth among crab tumblr, and I am hear to clear up a few things.

Carcinization is the process by which species have an overwhelming tendency to evolve into Crab. Why? Why indeed.

It follows that Crab, as a form, is ultimate.

Crab beats rock, Crab beats Paper, Crab beats scissors. The Crab is the ultimate form.

Crab is superior to man, woman, and child.

So what do we do with this information? I'm glad you asked.

Here there are two schools of thought.

Humans will become Crab, and may indeed be getting closer to crab every day.

2) Crab will one day rise from the ocean and take their place as the dominant species of earth. They will become our overlords. We will serve Crab. This seems likely, as Crab has already made several military plays for land territory.

I hear you, sobbing uncontrollably at your screen, what do we do? How do we ensure our survival in the face of this unprecedented threat?

There is only one thing we can do.

We must submit.

We must show them we are on their side. We must do it now, before it is reasonable for them to beleive we do so only in the face of our own extinction. Only then will we achieve Crabtopia.

All hail the mighty Crab.

May the Crab offer absolution. May the Crab punish the disloyal.

Inform those you trust. NO SPYING. If you suspect your associates may be anti-Crab, hide this information at all costs. We cannot risk being seen to aid the enemy of Crab. Too much is at stake.

Like he'd go out of his way just to make sure you have the best meals every day

Overall, I think Vox would be a very caring but yet very protective big-brother figure

Mysta Rias

You'd be making fun of him A LOT (like real siblings lol) and also pick on him specifically

Like in every roast tier list, Mysta's in the "bullied" tier, and you're the living proof of that.

Say if you're playing Crab Game, you'd specifically throw a snowball at him out of nowhere, causing him (using his webcam mic that makes him sound like he's in the middle of a damn hurricane) to scream like he's stuck between the fabric of reality and the backrooms

The most chaotic duo in NijiEN

You two would both pull pranks and say random deez nuts, ligma jokes to other members

Whenever you two take part in collabs (especially large ones), I can imagine you both causing so much mischief that everyone would be screaming your names while chasing you two who are laughing your butts off (I love his laugh it’s so goofy)

He’d teach you his ways of pogging

Say if you’re playing Minecraft, you two would probably place lava traps in front of the doors of every house, before hiding nearby to see the other members scream when they fall into the trap

Basically he’s gonna troll with you all the time :)

Ike Eveland

Just like Vox, very caring but very protective

He really enjoys reading you the novels he wrote and making you caviar toast. Even if you dislike caviar, he (tries) to not be too disappointed in you lol

Ike also like to teach you how to write novels and how to speak some Swedish words

And usually when you did well when he’s teaching you things, he’d give you a headpat :3

Usually if some other members say something a bit sussy, broski would look d e a d into their eyes while having both hands covering both of your ears, before politely telling you to go somewhere else for the meantime. Then he'd threaten whoever did that in front of you.

Shu Yamino

If you’re a smart person, you’d probably be talking about maths or something in the middle of a game.

dating bachira meguru means getting use to his spontaneous ideas and this could range from a simple water balloon fight to jumping in the lake. depending on how strict your parents are, he’ll either just knock on the front door or sneak into your room via window. he never shows up to yours empty handed, he’ll always bring either flowers or snacks for you.

types of dates he seems like he’d bring you on:

1. beach date! build sand castles, look for crabs, watch the sunset together and he’d try finding the prettiest sea shell to give you. if there’s rocks, he’d try to find a rock that’s the same colour as your eyes for him to keep as his good luck charm.

2. picnic date! brings your favourite snacks, brings lego flowers for you two to build together, brings a soccer ball for you both to play with.

3. painting date! his mom’s a painter so she probably taught him a bit, he wants to show off his skills to you and impress you.

4. arcade date! let him win you all sorts of prizes, if you want it can be a competition to see who wins more things.

5. stay at home date! watching movies together, playing uno, would ask you to play minecraft with him (please let him place his minecraft bed next to yours.)

posting my Life Series/Hermitcraft but it's Blaseball AU on here

because it's been rotating in my brain for like a week and i actually love it

this au is split into PRE-HISTORY BLASEBALL and INTERNET LEAGUE BLASEBALL. the pre-history timeline is in this post under a readmore & i will reblog with the ILB timeline.

this is an AU where the minecraft youtubers from the Life Series and/or Hermitcraft are Blaseball players in the world of Blaseball. some characters are pretty directly mapped onto each other (FalseSymmetry is roughly Megan Ito, InTheLittleWood is Parker MacMillan, Smajor is Jaylen Hotdogfingers) but most of the time i'm just putting equivalents of their stories into blaseball with narrative beats i like. this is inspired by both blaseball events and blaseball fan storytelling. anyway read on!

note: this is a version of prehistory that doesn't include full team incineration, and so the discipline/expansion era (including lift/worms/mechs) teams exist the whole time.

Ren Dog is a San Francisco Lovers pitcher, he's good, but not great. Martyn Littlewood is a hitter for the Charleston Shoe Thieves. The Watchers are a Blaseball god in this AU, similar to the coin, who love Martyn and are determined for him to rise to the top of the league. The Watchers are using their power to keep piling Wills and Blessings on Martyn, and he's kind of begrudging of the situation. Eventually, he changes teams to the Baltimore Crabs because of another blessing.

Martyn and Ren end up striking up a close relationship, since the Lovers and the Crabs play a lot of games together. They try and keep it somewhat secret, especially as Martyn begins to become more and more famous and more resentful and hateful of the Watchers.

Joel Beans is a hitter for the Lovers, but a blessing sends him into the Lovers shadows in exchange for Lizzie Shadowlady, a pitcher. Lizzie and Ren quickly become close friends, and this causes some jealousy from Martyn, but eventually he's persuaded to trust her and the three of them become a tight-knit little group. A blessing then steals Joel Beans onto the Kansas City Breath Mints. He has a tense rivalry with Lizzie, as she 'stole his place' on the Lovers, but it eventually blooms into a romantic relationship in true Blaseball style.

Throughout the seasons, there's been some weird reality disturbances going on, and Martyn's rise in skill and up the idol board is stopped when a reality-breaking game kills him. The Watchers, perhaps furious or perhaps in accordance with their plan all along, put the League into Debt in order to bring him back. This brings Martyn back, but he has a new modification—the Hand (this universe's Firewalker,) which causes him to incinerate everything he touches.

So Martyn starts killing people, and it's unsure whether he's out of his mind or truly wants to destroy the league. Meanwhile, Chicago Firefighters player False Symmetry has got the Roaming modification, and although she's sad about leaving her beloved team, she has a plan—she, while journeying across the League, and gaining an item trading/stealing modification, obtains an item called the Forcefield, which causes the player who has it to be unable to move from their position. She aims to put it on Martyn when he enters the Vault, but holding the Forcefield while Roaming (unable to move positions whilst having to move positions) causes her to be in a state of Superposition, and she glitches out of reality.

False, outside of the world of Blaseball, ends up becoming The Microphone, a Blaseball God who speaks cryptically to fans and seems to have their best interests in mind. She informs the fans about her plan, and the fans select a player to take the Forcefield to Martyn, and they pick Ren Dog.

Ren doesn't want to imprison Martyn in the Vault, for obvious reasons, but after Martyn incinerates Lizzie in a game, and then Joel for trying to attack him (as well as incinerating many many others) he decides he has to do it. He's traded by fans to the Baltimore Crabs, and then equipped with the Forcefield, so he can trade it to Martyn. At the end of the season, Martyn becomes eligible to enter the Vault, and Ren gives him the Forcefield, trapping him forever. Hopefully.

Also, Etho Slab is here and he plays for the Canada Moist Talkers. It didn't come up, but he is there.

Guys we need to balance the new Minecraft Mob vote to 33.3% per mob. So either Mojang has to get off their bullshit and add all three mobs or they have to pick one and end up bringing the whole community down on them. Like it literally would not be too much effort for them. And sure in the past I can see why they were only doing one mob at a time but when the choice are a fucking penguin, an armadillo or a crab THEY CAN GIVE UP AND ADD ALL THREE. FOR FUCKS SAKE modders already added these fucking things Mojang. Get off your capitalistic greed and add all three.

Okay as much as I'd LOVE a little crab friend in minecraft (or armadillo tbh, they're cute too), I think I'm fully on team penguin for this mob vote.

Like, they're cute but? also?? boat go fast??? I have at least three distant locations in my solo world that I travel to all the time, and also just have to travel really far to find updated terrain, in which I spend TOO much time on the ocean to NOT want boat go fast!

Finally got a chance to watch the FULL Minecraft Live and WOW I'm impressed. I'm really happy they're taking an opportunity to work on previous concepts in the game and developing them into new things for players to do. The trial chambers look SICK and I love all of the new copper variants

The Breeze looks SO COOL that mob was like made for me <- he is obsessed with wind-based things. And the fact that it manipulates the environment during combat is just. OUGH it's so good that's one of my fave mechanics an enemy can have

A bit sad crab didn't win BUT I love the armadillo too and I think it brings some much needed life to those savannahs

also the animation with the sniffer and the camel was adorable

so yeah! Good live! I'm excited to see what else this update has in store

I'm so torn about the mob vote because crabs are cute and I REALLY want the extended arm reach, but also I think savannah biomes are so so boring and armadillos are ALSO cute and would bring more life to that biome (also dog armor sounds pretty cool) and I feel the same about the penguins because stoney shores are like. Literally just some stone and it'd be really cool if they had their own mob (and penguins are really really cute)

And basically I just feel like these are all things that would be GREAT contributions to minecraft and I think it's a shame they'll scrap 2 of them just because they didn't win in a vote where only one could ever win

I wish the minecraft mob vote had a different system. Something more along the lines of voting on each mob individually to see if it would be an addition to minecraft that people want, and if the majority of people want it then it gets added. Giving a chance to all 3 mobs to be new additions to the game

And I'm not trying to crunch the development team. I'm not saying they need to add all the desired mobs by the next update. I'm just saying it'd be cool if the system was something that would prompt them to work on all the ideas we like with the expectation that it would, eventually, be released in a future update

Because at the moment it seems like we're never gonna see any of the mobs that lost the previous votes despite the fact that a huge portion of the minecraft fanbase REALLY likes some of those mob ideas

I just think it's a shame

dreamed again

first bit was like I was playing w a stranger on a modded Minecraft server. no idea how any of it worked but there were weird caches that had skeleton eggs (?) like not skeleton spawn eggs but red eggs that had cursed purple skeletons in there on them. the person I was with also had several buttons labelled "oh fuck" in the overworld that wluld teleport you back to base. they were very blunt & businesslike. to the point. idk why I was there but I think I was like forced to live in there or whatever so that was also the world. most of the time I was inside trying to tend creatures.

actually this came before - I was bringing home a bag of small crabs & horseshoe crabs & also giant triops & other made up dream crustaceans. & an alien-like sea urchin made f 6 or 8 jointed segments that would extend its segments through anything slowly but surely to gain more nutrients. I got a HUGE tank and put it in my mom's living room & tried to amke them.comfy - I wasn't planning on keeping wild animals, but I needed to have them, so they light as well be in a better environment than a bucket of water. there were also several mid size dead and decaying animals I threw in for them to eat.there was also several isopods . one in particular was like a rubber duck one exceot with a white body instead and he was super interested and active. my sister wasn't scared of him

eventually the first tank was too full of water(we had no lids) and I realized the creatures might jump out so I asked my sister to help me drain water & she broke the whole thing. I tried to save everything but some of the tiny fish died while I was gettjng two new tanks setup. I threw them in for the crustaceans to eat, and eventually the second tank was devoured and eaten through by the special sea urchin that ate glass. and this happened BEFORE the Minecraft dream bc it then shifted into me taking care of mieceaft fish in our base.

scene shift & that person became wrio genshin. his story quest was now released....! and it was about helping those two researchers that hate each other but everyone thinks they're in a relationship bc they disappear to the infirmary at the same time all the time. this was a 3rd person dream where I was basically just watching the traveller as she assisted wriothy with helping the researchers as thry bickered the whole time. there was a scene where she went too far out of her way for them and got hurt and wrio came to visit her as soon as possible in the infirmiary and like grabbed her chin and leaned over very closely tp have the conversation. it seemed like she was about to be kissed & was like um !!!? 😳😳😳😳 and then the researchers peeked in and immediately started gossippibg like "and everybody says WE are in a relationship even though we hate each other and these people are RIGHT THERE doing this kind of stuff with the duke ‼️" & wrio kinda smilled & sighed & walked away to reprimand them like"do you really think spreading rumors about the Duke of the fortress of meropide, your employer, is a good idea?" & they eere like "no your grace sorry your grace see you later" & scurried off, & thr story quest ended with a cgg of rhe traveller doing that anime girl thing where thry look off to the side beet red and touch their lips where they were almost kissed, & wrio in the bg. I was like wow.they really went shippy with this one this never happens. even with ayaka and Xiao.

hm after that I had a dream I was with my sister at ?a beach resort or smth. there was a GIANT wall of makeup products including a bunch of really weird colors of eyeliner. I tested out a bright silver from a silver/orange/gold palette & actually genuinely really liked it,so I wanted to buy it without the rest of the pallette. apparently the owner of the brand was in the same town, so I told my sister I'd be back and walked over. the makeup store was also part hair salon - a girl was getting her hair died to have like a dark blue tint with kther rgb streaks in it & each streak that overlapped had like a sparkle illuminating that part, but the sparkle was dyed in..anywsy the whole place was run by a large and very friendly trans lady. I asked her directly aboit the eyeshadow I saw and also asked for a haircut since my split ends were acting up.in the dream I was also on my period & the lady said sympathetically "oh if you're on your perjod your splot ends get worse but we ca fix that!" & I was like okay.... and sat on the hairsresser chair, which was more of like a lounge chair than a normal one.

I don't remember if she actually did anything about the hair bc a lot of people I knew suddenly came inside. kt wasnow dark and raining outside. one of my studio classmates revealed that she'd lived in this shop before bc the owner kindly let her use the room upstairs for free after her landlord screwed her over. also the assistant from work showed up but younger? and I forgot her name and said it was ALMOND. so embarrassing. anyway I was just sitting in the chair for a while and texting y sister updates. when I asked again about the silver eyeliner, she revealed that they were leftovers shipped in from somewhere else & arrived here unlabeled, but she'd try to find the one I wanted for me.

eventually I went to walk home but the weather was so bad.... I was treated to another 3rdperson scene of lumine genshin impact waking up in a cozy bed in a strange room with leafy branches putsife the window and a warm sun shining through. wrio's Castle...? (even though he's only I charge of the underwater giant prison) then I woke up . I need to wash my hair but kts getting stixky again and I don't want to.

he's the guy who buys artists brand new drawing tablets, the guy who buys a fan a whole new car even though said fan only jokingly asked him to, the guy who sat down with a kid fan with his family for breakfast just to hang out, the guy who scrapbooks every single fan letter, the guy who wears bracelets given by fans on his wrist all the time, the guy who actually remembers individual fans and recognizes them by name/face, the guy who compliments fans whether it's their outfit, nails, or makeup, the guy who set one of his first fanarts ever as his phone lockscreen and kept it for more than a year, the guy who basically stagedived after his very first public appearance to hang out with the crowd and talk to them even though it must have been so overwhelming for him, the guy who upgrades random fans from gen ad tickets to m&g and ultimate vip, the guy who actually keeps gifts from fans and makes sure to use some of them or store them safely in his house, the guy who actually understands stans and fandoms and embraces it despite his peers antagonizing him for it, the guy who actually listens to his fans' criticisms and learns from it, the guy who would sit for hours either in silence or through his rambles so we could listen in, the guy who happens to be the only cc to ever acknowledge fanfiction and not only validate, but appreciate it, the guy who sat for 14 hours just playing crab game with his fans, the guy who wrote a whole thread to advise fans how to give gifts to him at cons more efficiently so he can be able to actually keep them and bring them home, the guy who actually makes actual, in depth conversations with his fans values their individuality, the guy who sent a box of merch to a kid fan because he saw they were being bullied, the guy who gives out free tickets to parents for his concerts because he wants the audience to be able to bond with their family, the guy who goes out of his way to provide great production value at his tour for an affordable price even when it lost him 200k, the guy who said "i didnt find my community, my community found me" because he knows we grow and learn together, the guy who cried on stream because someone dono'd him that he saved their life, the guy who goes out of his way create safe spaces for us and actually believes that loving him is a struggle and that he has to make up for it (he doesnt.), the guy who takes the time every single month to shout out an artist, the guy who likes fanart not even related to him so other artists can be appreciated, the guy who cried to his mom after the dsmp panel cause he felt so loved from his fans, the guy who always communicates us and is quick to update us on things so we are never left wondering, the guy who puts fanart on his minecraft loading screens, the guy who goes in for a hug first and does not let go until the fan does, the guy who commissions fans to make art for his projects like his manhunt posters and album cover art, the guy who makes sure that every interaction with a fan he meets is meaningful and actually takes his time with talking to them even though he's in a hurry, the guy who takes every opportunity to say he loves us, unprompted, because he knew it would make someone's day. this dude just loves and loves, unashamedly, unapologetically, and his love gets louder as time goes by, despite it all. and just hearing all his friends vocalize how much they appreciate him is so healing to me - he deserves all that love bouncing back to him.
