Since I can't contain my thoughts here's all the "Mirage" logicistics. Basically they either swap or enhance ones personality, heres a few examples:

Mirage Lenore is way more looney and impulsive, with a practically nonexistant off switch having to be dragged off screaming before she sets anything on fire, her group mainly sticks with her for fear of their own lives and she and Annabel are ALLOWED TO BE GAY!!! HOORAY!!! They still have the pretend to hate each other thing but thats mainly due to Annabel's paranoia

Mirage Duke is a shit magician who constantly looses parts of his tricks, he's also like WAYYY too overdramatic, the kinda mf to fall over if you steal his chip,

"I WAS GOING TO EAT THAT!"

Mirage Pluto is if you took a wet cat and made him a golden retriever. He's very hyperactive, social, easily distracted. Mf is like "wanna hear abt my hyperfixations?!" Talks and doesn't wait for an answer a neat thing i did with some characters Mirage's is i inverted stuff abt them like hair, emblems, all that. He still thinks M! Duke's magic is cool

Mirage Berenice is a feral little creature, constantly biting or nibbling on things (mainly Eulalies arm, or her own. I dont think chewlery exists in the victorian era). She's also the queen of being unhinged, in spectre form shes somewhat normal at least. For the most part she's in her own world

Mirage Eulalie is the mean autistic, less into creepy/old things n thinks their lame and/or weird. She's the one dragging Berenice around and keeping the gang from falling apart. Her and M! Morella really out here sharing the only group braincell, shes also blunt as fuck and wont hesitate to tell you you look bad. I wanted to lean more into the japanese part of her character so she just kinda- speaks more of it now (lol idk how else to explain it)

Mirage Morella, like M! Eulalie, is a mean autistic. She's less emotional, and more of "I dont give a damn just get me out of here.", sticks with whatever group she's feelin that day tbh. Won't tell you you look bad, will probably just call you a dumbass and leave

Mirage Annabel is kinda like regular Annabel but without the "Life is like chess" mentality. So more jumpy, kinda a walking talking mental breakdown waiting to happen. Excess paranoia and increase of hallucinations cus pookie and I decided we aren't giving her a break

Mirage Prospero is no longer fancy and polite, he is sopping wet germaphobic wet cat. He will go through great lengths to avoid disease, faints around blood and puke, screams at the sight of his own rats (or just rats/bugs in general), actively raising his and Annabel's blood pressure with how scardy he is.

Mirage Montresor is imo the funniest one cuz he's just a polite little gentleman, doin all the chivalry shit like opening doors, pushing chairs in and out, saying his pleases/thank yous/welcomes, he's even calling everyone "Sir" and "Ma'am". He's still an asshole, but you really gotta provoke him to see that

Tbh, I didn't think much abt Mirage Will since Will to me is kinda just there as Monty's lackey who gets kicked around. SO he's less of a pushover, more demanding, up and refuses what people tell him, bullies M! Monty, he tried bullying M! Ada and M! Morella but bro got his ass kicked. On top of it, he's unfortunately more sexist and stubborn. No more people pleasing ig 🤷‍♀️

Finally, Mirage Ada. What I wanted to do for her is have her be an absolute girlboss who is always serving 100% of the time. Everything she does is her choice and for her and her friends, and and and shes Aroace too, pretty chill when she has to reject someone just like:

this is actually turning into a long rant sorry 😭😭 but it really dawned on me that it was a bit ridiculous when he ‘beat’ jurion because i get it could probably happen but it was sort of like… so everything just goes your way. exactly as planned. all the time. okay then where’s the conflict or excitement or any sort of cliffhanger or tension if i already know you’re going to win no matter what?? no matter who you’re fighting?? at this point he could probably fight kayden and win because he pulls out some fancy punch that caught him off guard and i wouldn’t be surprised

i also felt like i read about 200 episodes and he didn’t have any proper character development. i get he’s meant to be likeable but there weren’t really any proper flaws for him to develop, so while he starts as a sort of fresh character who’s nice yet powerful and a nice change from some others characters in the same genre he eventually becomes a bit flat?? it might have changed in recent chapters, but i feel like the writing let it down slightly

I...do not really like Jiwoo. "But he's a precious bean! He's smol! Must protecc!" Yes, so true, you are so valid, but also consider he has the personality of a communion wafer and makes watching paint dry more interesting than reading his dialogue. He is perfect and it is unbearable-narrative wise. The main character propels the story-it is what the plot is centered around. So when the main character has nothing to give, neither does the plot. Someone go instill the hate of god in his heart or introduce him to twitter to something.

Also-the lack of proper development is SO REAL oh my god. He had one (1) revelation in the entire story, promptly after getting almost assassinated, and that was: "I want to get stronger for my friends!!" like...babygirl...that's what you've been doing this entire time..plz don't tell me it took you 100 something chapters to come to that conclusion.

This phenomenon is like-the doom of every korean action mawha. MC is OP, and has no discernable personality besides the like. 3 given traits given to them. No development, static plot, rinse, repeat. maybe the only exciting things that happens is a side character dies. It's like the webtoon equivalent of plug and chug math problems, so ig I got what I came for LOL

Haven't seen one of these floating around for the recent MTAP tag but here's some gameplay tips I've picked up as a newbie who picked this up while it was 80% off on steam. I was mega stressed early on due to not knowing things and would be happy to pass on advice to save others the stress:

1. Reddit is good for advice and tumblr is penalizing me for links so yeah. Use the reddit community and/or wiki when stuck. Link to a decent set of advice is in the replies to this post.

2. Repair your workshop as soon as possible bc you'll wake up with low stamina daily until that gets done. Doesn't take more than like 30ish or so pieces of wood.

3. Yep the advice to make more than one machine is correct. Even for the blender. Maybe not the cooking setup or basic skiver per se. Yes, this will use up resources and space. Use the For Sale sign to expand space (or be like me and try to cram a level 2 house into a space too small for it 😅).

4. In the small planter boxes, grow lettuce, cotton, and wheat as much as possible if you can. You can also grow other things, but these seem to be the most helpful for feeding mounts and skiver crafting. Large boxes are for the special giant seeds and you can get the box from the church store and seeds from the Mysterious Man. Fertilize often to have the best shot at winning the Autumn Festival!

5. No, you can't have a rival romance with Higgins, tragically. But you can spar and body block him and chat to him until 9 AM to prevent him from taking commissions, especially the fancy valuable ones. I'm currently chill with being at rank 2 in my first year so I don't bother yet. I still think we should be allowed to woo him. As a treat. And mechanic to make him nicer 😅. Btw once he scams you (you'll know when) talk to him as soon as possible after and you can at least guilt him into giving you money.

6. No seriously do use Gust's shop in A&G to swap for 999 wood and keep furnaces running. You'll get wayyy too much stone from mining and the first quarry only gives so much marble for stone tables to sell en masse when the market is up. Other quarries are annoying to get to in the early game. Use the excess for wood first, then making stone bricks or stone tools etc to sell or whatever. Go wild. I make excess glass to sell since it's more profitable than raw resource selling, yep even with the wood cost. Still haven't figured out how to make excess soil more profitable besides planter boxes.

7. If you don't wanna feel like a monster for killing llamas for their worn fur, you can totally kill panbats. I like all the critters so I feel like a monster regardless 🥴. Kinda has to be done for certain quests and quest items tho.

8. Make allll the Dee-Dee Stops you can for the spots marked on the map. You can also have your mount follow you to the next stop.

9. Bring or make stamina repletion food when mining, esp if you have the game speed slowed down and don't run to the Round Table to replete (you have a limited number of things you can eat and can only eat once daily... Or you could try sitting for an hour if you aren't like me and it won't drive you crazy to sit and do nothing).

10. Annoying timed storyline quest needed items that you can collect earlier while the main story has no time limit for progression per se: pretty much all ores/ore products and special mining items like valves and engines, wild cocoons, ironwood (more than you think), bat wings, bamboo papaya, information discs (I keep the extra beyond the ones I give Petra for research in general for the storyline quest diagrams; I can complete the relics later), knight badges from the Round Table (minimum 250 of them), old parts, crystal necklace x1, dog food x1, soap x1, wildflower bouquet from Alice x1, tempering fluid, copper and steel wire, steel planks, welding rods. Can't think of the other ones that were super urgent and non-commission board rn as of Winter 1st (my latest stopping point) but yeah this is totally a hoarding game.

11. P.S. To get into the hazardous ruins area as a lower level, literally just dodge and run for 60 seconds. Do a hit if you feel brave. Yes, it's cowardly but it totally works and unlocks neat stuff you really need for certain quests. You can kick their asses later.

12. The worst that can happen if you die is that you get warped back home. Same for passing out at 3 AM but without the health depletion. Use that knowledge for what you will. I've noticed in boss battles it just bumps me back to the start of the battle with full health and stamina so I only get warped back further in other situations.

Not that this is like, a hot new take or anything, but I can imagine that they both might be going through a bit of a crisis. Like their careers have finally died down but like, what do they do. They haven't done much else but be YouTube personalities (which is more than just YouTube, obv) for like, nearly 15 years. They are probably afraid to venture into new territory, because at this point that will likely mean risking either their brand or their bank accounts (like how Dan had to risk money to do the tour / offer to put up his own money for Dinok). Not that that's a good excuse, but I can understand being afraid and Phil just trying to hang on to his usual content for the both of them (as he also figures out work/life balance). Dan only did DD for the tour and it definitely felt kinda forced. Just doing their old stuff but with their older/out-of-closet selves isn't going to be successful in a way it's safe, for now.

As someone with a lot of the same kind of mental health struggles Dan has, I imagine he might be beyond burnt out and doesn't really want the attention anymore because of the work it requires. And even though it's like, okay it's been months since the tour okay what's next... idk what we'll really get out of him for a while (maybe a few years even?) besides random contract work like the channel 4 thing. Like, projection time, but I just got through grad school with extreme ADHD/executive dysfunction/procrastination etc, and was so burnt out by the end idk how I did it. And I'm like, oh well it's been about 6 months I should probably have a job in my field by now (which I'm probably insane for thinking that anyways because the job market is in so wild). But like, I've been kinda burnt out since 2016 (when I was 16 and a junior in high school, at the end of my og dnp phase) and all I can muster the mental energy to do now is the same part-time / retail work I've been doing the past few years. Which like, I'm barely getting by and I do ultimately feel disappointed that I'm not trying harder to put my fancy new degree to work because I'm barely applying for anything. But I just can't get myself together enough to do that right now. I imagine Dan might be going through something similar, like, he could be doing something creative but he probably is just tired and wants to just live life without any expectations and go on vacations and rely on Phil to be the content creator. He's probably aware that it's not ideal. But he also seems done with compromising any creative vision either because he doesn't want to do sponsorships or anything that isn't a deeply personal piece of art. And he probably doesn't have many deep ideas now that WAD is done and Dinok is stalled and there isn't much he seems to want to do commentary on (because if he just sucked it up he would actually be a pretty good commentary YouTuber lol).

I think they also have a lot more stuff to work through mental health wise too before they are ever really able to not be cryptic about their relationship, since when ex-phannies or random people who remember them see their tiktoks or whatever it's what they all ask about. Like to some degree I don't know if they ever wanted to be out and famous but it got to the point where they couldn't keep denying it either. I'm so glad they came out because it's clearly so much healthier, but beyond the trauma of being closeted that they had to overcome they probably now have trauma from years and years of people being weird towards them about their relationship and it's like... now they have get through that in order to take the next step. do they really want to go through all that just to help open themselves up to a new era of content? Idk.

i'm almost crying. i hate us so much. this is exactly why the phandom needs meet ups irl or "bubbles" where we could have conversations. because trying to answer THAT without forgetting something is hard, and also i can't imagine how hard it is to write these mini-essays and get bullshit in response.

i appreciate it a lot. and i basically agree with your message. i see how it can be true. and i know that in case of burnout, Dan can let himself step back. the problem i have with him disappearing and coming back after 2018 is that he thinks that the audience will wait for him and accept everything he puts out with the same passion, participation, and amount of money as when he and Phil were making content without long pauses. but book sales, merch sales, tour ticket sales, views and god knows what else that we can't see show that we aren't willing to wait. and it started in 2019 i guess, so you would think that by 2022 Dan would understand what went wrong and just book smaller venues (or make a smaller stage for it to not be a problem). i'm using wad just as an example. you said Dan could not want attention anymore. but he repeatedly says that he loves attention. and it's not only words, you can see it irl. ofc after tours there is a period of time to rest. but before that, there was a clusterfuck of something that was barely content while the merch releases were consistent. either because it was pre-made or because Dan was still living in a rose-colored world thinking that we would buy stuff without content. i'm not sure what i'm arguing here anymore riuehdfsidxkl apologies, i guess it's related to Dan wanting to fuck off. and he CAN. i don't care, 2019 taught me a lesson. (doesn't mean i can't bitch about it <3)

anyway. i understand your struggles with work and degree. basically, i was in the same position after graduating, and now it's even more difficult but i get it. choosing to work part-time, in retail and similar "easy" jobs because you can't deal with the weight of expectations that come with a degree, that's... yeah. an adult reality that no one told us about. i wish you the best, and i hope everything works out well. whatever you decide to do, remember you don't have to use your degree if you don't want to or just don't feel like you can at this moment. you know, getting a fancy "serious" job is such a commitment, bruhh. and you can always walk out of retail :)

dash: self explanatory based on much else you've seen.

fluttershy: they are also fairly close :) since astral studies the realm of magic biology they're also fairly interested in the magic of nonsentient magical creatures and have conducted a few interviews with them with‏‏‎ ‎flutters‏‏‎ ‎acting as translator (she also tells them stories about her and dash at flight camp)

rarity: while they don't hang out quite as often she has encouraged them to visit the spa with her and is obviously the pony they go to when they need a fancy outfit for any reason. probably the first pony to figure out‏‏‎ ‎the‏‏‎ ‎dash‏‏‎ ‎crush‏‏‎ ‎as she is Versed In Matters Of The Heart (tm) and provides encouragement for astral's‏‏‎ ‎freakouts.

applejack: the pony astral talks to about‏‏‎ ‎earth‏‏‎ ‎pony‏‏‎ ‎magic, though they don't go to her quite as often because. you know. ulterior motives. they do really like learning about all the special apple varieties on the farm since we know the zap apples at least are magical and i'm assuming there's probably more that we never saw. if astral is stressing about something and needs to do something else to help them think they help out on the farm for a bit

pinkie: personality-wise they have the least in common out of the mane‏‏‎ ‎6,‏‏‎ ‎but since pinkie‏‏‎ ‎makes it her job to be friends with absolutely everypony they can't help but be endeared to her. she threw them a party when they moved‏‏‎ ‎to‏‏‎ ‎ponyville‏‏‎ ‎and somehow got their favorite flavor of cupcake exactly right (pinkie‏‏‎ ‎sense?) the last to know about the dash‏‏‎ ‎crush‏‏‎ ‎because they love her but know she would be Wayyy too enthusiastic about it (and then she probably is but by then they're together)

spike: they don't usually hang out one-on-one but they do ask him tons of questions about dragon‏‏‎ ‎culture‏‏‎ ‎and what it's like being a dragon and how he learned to do the scroll-sending thing (since it's apparently canon that that was taught to him by‏‏‎ ‎celestia‏‏‎ ‎and not just a thing he came out of the egg doing) and he kind of likes being an important assistant to their research

starlight:‏‏‎ ‎they have similar takes on magic so it's not that they don't have anything to talk about it's more that astral‏‏‎ ‎resents her just a tinyyyyy little bit for becoming twilight's‏‏‎ ‎personal‏‏‎ ‎protege and getting to stay in the castle and basically becoming an extension to their friend group and then it doesn't even seem like she Wants it. methinks in the style of the show they'd have some heated discussion about this that ends in them becoming better friends though

sunburst: actually probably closer with him than with‏‏‎ ‎starlight‏‏‎ ‎since they can commiserate over being magically talented but not Quite in that way. they play off each other interestingly since when it comes to magic he's‏‏‎ ‎more interested in the past‏‏‎ ‎and they're more interested in the future but i feel like out of all the characters he's the one they'd most likely co-author a research paper with.

zecora: their closest friend of the canon characters who isn't a mane six member.‏‏‎ ‎since‏‏‎ ‎astral works near the‏‏‎ ‎everfree‏‏‎ ‎forest‏‏‎ ‎at least some of the time they like to visit and trade materials and such and‏‏‎ ‎zecora‏‏‎ ‎teaches astral about potionmaking. actually funnily enough i think that even though there's an implication in‏‏‎ ‎inclement‏‏‎ ‎weather‏‏‎ ‎that it's the other way around that‏‏‎ ‎dash ends up getting a tiny bit jealous of‏‏‎ ‎zecora‏‏‎ ‎right before she realizes she's caught feelings for astral.

Was kinda just thinking / playing around with the fact that this blog goes so in depth about how awful of a person, mom, and “girlfriend” Kelly Piquet is I’m really surprised no one here has made its way to a blind item / a bigger gossip forum because YALL ARE DOING THE LORDS WORK ON FINDING THE STEAMIEST ☕️☕️☕️

but then i seriously think about it and Max is a C(+) list celebrity with the raising interest in F1, while Kelly is Miles and miles behind him. Which is very funny because considering how she talks to photographers and other ppl who’ve had interactions with her she definitely thinks she’s up there with max. Modeling is a super hard industry to get into and many many ppl get hired for agency & contractors but not all of them are ppl like Kendall Jenner, the Hadid sisters ect. Her biggest shoot was the Dutch Vogue which from my understanding did not reach the performance it was intended because the contents only really focused on her being a trophy gf and very obviously didn’t point out anything she’s actually done in terms of motherhood, trying to make a name in the modeling world while trying to set herself apart ect, it was about max this and max that and my dads a world champion. She can attend all the fancy Fashion Weeks she wants but just showing up doesn’t actually do anything.

It’s very hard to be come relevant when you don’t have any substance and leeching off a boyfriend is probably the worst way to be come relevant. I 100% believe she tried to baby trap Daniil K and will probably do it to Max. When she had P she had a wonderful working mom in the paddock vibe (bc at time if I’m not mistaken she was in charge of running some f3/ lower junior series’ instagrams / socials) but got rid of it after they split and TRIED to be back into mommy blogging with Max but she cares way to much about furthering her modeling career and using her kid as an accessory to keep up with the stay at home stichk.

There’s soooo many ways Kelly could market herself but relies heavily on F1 fans from max to further her career which in all reality, as someone who just got in the sport a year 1/2 ago and is a female, I’ve had other female friends in the sport WAYYY longer than me and no one really cares about the girlfriends and wife’s. It’s fun too see them in the paddock yes but Most f1 fans are watching for the sport and to cheer on their favorite driver than to be investing in a struggling modeling career.

I also think it’s very psycho to try and alter the reality of a relationship to the point Kelly does. Maybe it’s just me being the type of person who doesn’t feel the need to flaunt / post a relationship (me and my partner have been together 3 yrs and I personally don’t see the point of posting about the relationship/ giving up dates 24/7 because I believe that those moments are better spent between the two of us and not the entire internet). When it gets to the point of faking posting about something as simple as flowers or posting old photos to make it seem like she’s in his apartment/ with him when the detectives on here clearly point out she’s ran off somewhere else is very concerning. She’s 30+ and displays the same type of relationship insecurity as a 16 yr old. Normal people shouldn’t feel the need to constantly verify their relationship with complete strangers online. Its also not that hard to respect the privacy of your S/O but not showing key features of their house, because the fact fans have seen photos of Monaco and now are able to point out max’s apartment is very concerning but it wouldn’t have started If miss K hadn’t obsessively showed off the place.

I definitely don’t think Kelly is stupid, and I know that she knows that once her and max break up a lot of the opportunities she had like meeting maya musk ect will be gone. ANYWAYS BACK TO THE OG POINT I think some of the work ppl do on this blog about the Kelly time lines should definitely try submitting something to a blind items blog because IG seems to be her main platform of outreach and it would be interesting to see how she would respond. This blog holds valid criticism of her /(with other wags but K seems to be the most problematic) and accurate descriptions and timelines of her sketchiness. jerome meeting joy's parents: I think this probably happened soon after the end of season 3—maybe she invites him over for dinner at some point during the winter holiday. You best believe this boy shows up in a suit and tie and with hair just-so and carrying some fancy dessert his mom made, and her parents are suitably impressed. joy's mom adores him; she hasn't really met any of her friends apart from patricia and fabian and while she's surprised at the (in her eyes) unlikely pairing, she hasn't seen her daughter smile like that in a very long time, and that in itself is enough for her. joy's dad some time to warm up to him though—he'd always been the overprotective type with joy and through victor/sweet he knows of jerome's dad and is a bit prejudiced because of it. but jerome comes to this dinner prepared and has a really intelligent conversation with him about his business or whatever and ultimately gets the stamp of approval from both parents. The second time they meet, though, joy convinces jerome to loosen up just a bit—not that she didn't like him on his absolute best behavior, but he didn't need to be all formal for her parents to like him, you know? they end up getting really competitive over a game of monopoly or something and mr. mercer is a little confused as to where the "nice, polite young man" went alskdfj joy meeting jerome's parents: she goes to visit his dad (and poppy, who's also there) sometime after season 3 but before tor, over a weekend or something. jerome's dad takes a while to get used to joy, just because he got to know mara really well and he's just surprised at this turn of events, but joy is joy and he rather likes her by the end. poppy's also a bit confused by joy in the beginning but they bond quickly as joy teaches her how to revamp her wardrobe even with a uniform and gives her some sage advice on some friend drama she's having. jerome begins to feel a little ganged up on as his family insists on showing joy every single embarassing photo and video of him. it doesn't stop when they get to jerome's mom's house and all of a sudden all the stories of baby jerome are out in the open. i have an image of joy jerome and poppy making homemade pizza for dinner and accidentally trashing the kitchen and joy being mortified until his mom goes "don't worry about it, also this pizza is incredible." anyway, jerome's family is generally more warm than joy's was (not that they weren't, but they didn't go above-and-beyond to be inviting like jerome's did) and there wasn't any pressure to "impress" or whatever, so they have a good time. mara and fabian: ok so by virtue of their children being first and/or second in their class since practically forever, their families already know each other fairly well. their "meeting of the parents" happens at some award ceremony brunch or something after the big grad party (maybe the baccalaureate) but it's not particularly different from all the other times. mara's parents always thought fabian sweet but a little odd, and they enjoy getting to see a more relaxed side of him at the event; fabian's parents (and uncle ade) have always liked mara and absolutely dote on her the entire afternoon. however, jasper is just weird and awk the entire time and, uncharacteristically, so is mara, which confuses everyone else except fabian a bit. everyone thinks it's soooo sweet that they decided to share the valedictorian medal. while their friends may have been surprised by them getting together, their parents are absolutely not—they're wayyy more devastated than either of their kids when they split up (amicably) just before uni lol.

alfie meeting willow's parents: this happens at move-out and it's quite brief but willow's mom pulls him into a hug and her dad just gives him the biggest grin before alfie even says anything to introduce himself, so he's immediately at-ease. it's important to note that he's holding his water wowzer 3000 in one hand and an action figure in the other when all of this happens, and he's properly embarrassed when realizes when he gets back to his room until willow appears in his doorway like "hey, my dad wanted to know what level you're on in [video game the action figure's from]" and then mr. jenks himself shows up and asks the same question and they end up having an entire discussion on strategies and stuff which then derails into talking about the outreach work his design company is doing with a local children's hospital. alfie ends up not packing anything until his parents arrive lol willow meeting alfie's parents: ok this is a bit depressing but i have a feeling alfie really pulls away from his parents during his final year at anubis because of everything going on and then with uni pressure and stuff, so his parents only vaguely know about amber leaving and willow, but not much. again, this meeting happens at move-out when willow pops into his room to say goodbye and he quickly makes some introductions. both of his parents are warm and friendly, but they're honestly a little shocked when alfie's just like "mum, dad, this is my girlfriend, willow. i'll be back; i just want to say goodbye to her parents and tell mr. jenks i'll accept his internship" and leaves with a confused willow behind him. he comes back and they badger him with questions and hes just like "i dunno, it's been six months and she's going to my uni, what else is there to say?"

they insist she come on a picnic with them over the summer and that meeting goes a lot better. she turns out to be incredible at frisbee and when they do a game of girls vs. boys she and alfie's mom resoundly beat the other two. i honestly think his parents love her right from the get-go even though she's so completely different temperamentally from them.

patricia meeting eddie's mom: the thing about patricia is that she gets scared out of her mind every time things get a little more serious with eddie, and flying to america to see him just screams "serious," so things are very awkward initially—like when his mom goes to give her a hug at the airport, she just stands there stiffly and doesn't hug back and insists on carrying both her suitcases herself and shrugs eddie's arm off when he tries to put it around her shoulders in the car. eddie's mom tries to make small talk on the drive back but patricia just gives one-word answers and then nods off, leaning against her window, which eddie tries to explain by saying "she's just jetlagged" (never mind that the UK is just 5 hours ahead and it's barely 8pm and she clearly has one eye open). but I think his mom recognizes this (given how different she is from how eddie described her) and really goes out of her way to make her comfortable and relaxed, so by the end of breakfast the next morning, they're chatting like the best of friends. his mom's got this really calm, motherly presence that reminds patricia a lot of trudy, which helps a lot. ms. miller has met the other people eddie dated before patricia, and while she liked them, patricia's by far her favorite.

eddie meeting patricia's parents: patricia does her best to make sure this doesn't happen but then over winter break senior year, mr. sweet insists all of them (and piper) go get dinner at some fancy restaurant with ridiculous wait times. anyway, sweet then proceeds to force eddie into a suit which he hates, which means he's a bit tired and hangry while they're waiting for their food. patricia's parents, mr. sweet, and piper are engaged in some classical music discussion and make little to no effort to include the other two—until eddie's head droops onto patricia's shoulder and sweet barks at him to sit up straight and he's thoroughly embarrassed as he remembers that he's supposed to be making a good impression right now (patricia could not care less and is just upset that he's upset). anyway, the night gets a little better when the food finally arrives and patricia calls alfredo "mac and cheese" again and eddie teases her about it until she calls him out on his spagetti sandwich concoction, and then they're both getting scolded for being too loud. one of the adults insist on dessert, which means sitting around for another half hour, so the two of them sneak off outside before the conversation inevitably turns to college applications. piper joins them soon after, a little pissed that she got left with the adults alone. the restaurant is next to a ballroom dance studio and they decide to go watch the class going on in there (read: make fun of old people) in the window until the instructor comes out and yells at them to stop loitering…right as the parents, worried out of their minds, find them. mr. williamson's like "this is typical for patricia but i'd expect more from you, piper," and then eddie gets a little riled up and is like "wtf does that mean" but then he realizes, once again, he can't be fighting his girlfriend's parents, so he backs down. they go back in and finish their food and he makes an effort to make small talk etc and it's nice. mrs williamson is actually quite happy with him and can see why patricia likes him—though she can't imagine how the nice, soft-spoken woman she spoke to briefly the previous summer managed to raise him all alone without going completely gray. and mr. williamson is a bit more on-the-fence but he generally is harder to impress with anything to do with patricia so that's pretty normal.

Because I have no problems standing up for myself and other people who may be weaker (by what people consider as weak in every sense of the word) so that is jarring for people when they'd meet me. I have abstract intelligence that's confusing for people to understand. Creative, imaginative or even innovative with how I express myself. But just being an introvert, I tend to keep to myself by living in my own world - literally and metaphorically. So I would rather have a small group of friends or even just few friends, if I want to befriend people. And I have high standards towards people so I would cut out people from my life if I considered them to not be honest, loyal or have integrity. So I'm a complicated person.

I am multiply disabled, my disabilities are primarily physical and mental. Asperger's Syndrome may be one of my obvious disorders. So any habitual traits, tics or mannerisms have come from that diagnosis.

My hobbies are more of the creative or imaginative hobbies. Drawing, I used to draw my art but haven't for a while now if I'm being honest. I write. I listen to music, my main preferences are the rock and metal genres though. I watch a lot of shows and movies, most of what I watch is anime. I read, most of what I read is manga (which are like comics) and original stories (which are fan fiction stories). I play video games.

i hung out with snow and 2 of their friends for their bday (2 dozen anni celebration) and it was a lot of fun!

we got to the city around 3:15 and walked to ktown. we went to this bakery they all usually go to and they had so many tasty treats, i wanted to try them all! i got a strawberry bouchee & snow got us this strawberry refresher thats kind of carbonated but it was good! it had pieces of strawberries in it so it was cute. then we walked to kinokuniya which is this huge japanese store filled with books,magazines,manga, stationery, plushies,toys,collectables, &moreeee. it had 3 stories!!! there was soo much to look at & i def wanna go back!! i told the bestie about it & she wants to go! (i didnt realize how close it was to bryant park as well. like i totally wouldve went there last time i was in bryant park if i knewww.) we were in there for like an hr. i bought a spirited away japanese book & a cute pop up holiday card for myself bc i liked the art. i wanted a small spirited away book but they only had the big one and the book that shows miyazakis sketches. i feel like i shouldve just gotten that one, even tho it was more money..maybe on my next trip. afterwards, we went to muji, then the nintendo store. so snows friends are very much gamers. well, they allll are lol & theyre into kpop, conventions, etc so theyre quite diff from my friend group but they were very nice! & they were already talking about stuff like how i have to see their friends room bc she has cool things and how they’ll force me & snow to watch the live action.. demon slayer mugen train musical…lolll yes that. we then went backkk to ktown to eat at abiko curry, which is a spot they go to a lot. it was my first time trying it and omg it was sooo good, i ate it all. ive never had korean curry so i thought it was so cool that i could add a pork chop to it and it was crispy! it was so satisfying lol it was like our first real meal of the day at 8:30. im gonna be thinking about that curry for a whilee. afterwards, we were gonna go to this place called starbucks reserve, which is like a very fancy coffee shop/bar, but we realized we wouldnt have enough time so were saving it for some other time. we got gelato that was nearby and they had such cool flavors!! lychee, guava, plum.. i got a scoop of ube and thai iced tea and they went perfect together omg i want it again. i didnt know how thai iced tea gelato would taste but it tasted exactlyyy like the drink so it was so refreshing after our curry meal. after gelato we went back to the bakery to pick up things we wanted to take home with us. we didnt get on the train until 10:30 so we got home later than i thought & i was soso tired the next morning bc i had to wake up early but it was worth it lol. oh yeah! i forgot to mention but i gave snow their bday gift & card in the car so they opened the gift before we walked to the train station and !!! they loved it so much they criedddd D; it was sweet and also shocking and funny bc like!! i didnt mean to make you cry omggg loll for context, the gift was a framed drawing i made of inumaki from jujutsu kaisen and so they said thats its literally the best gift theyve ever gotten, mostly due to it being handmade and i was like WhaTttt no wayyy. the best gift youve ever gotten?!? they knew i was gonna draw something already bc they didnt want me to buy a gift & wanted something handmade like my art but ofc they didnt know what id draw & didnt really expect me to draw Him. they saved the card for our train ride home bc when they first opened it in the car & saw so many words they couldnt read it yet lol. when snow was on their way to my house they realized they forgot my gift (for my bday) and i was like MY Gift!!?! i really dont know what it could even be… it was fun spending time with them and i feel like its a nice change to hangout with a different friend group. idk like something about it feels fun and refreshing & just different. ofc it depends how comfortable i feel with everyone. but yeahhh, it was a good day & i got to try a lot of yummi foods

(my bracelet fell off and idk where it went:(( it could be somewhere in my room or my bfs room.. i dont believe it fell off at work.. or the shower..but i dont wanna think about thatD: it wasnt really a sentimental one i guess.. but it was like a good bracelet..& old.. &cute:( im hoping it shows uppppp!!!!)
