woooooo another immunity win, i woulda been so shocked if someone could beat me at a spelling bee. ACQUIESCE BABY!!! my deranged cobwebby brain is good at one thing and one thing only… and that’s spelling. i’m jk i’m good at other things too but wow lol ok. so i’m immune tonight. zee is asking me and alex to flip on michael, and its just condescending at this point :( like i know what i’m doing babe and idgaf if u think michael is gonna win. i’m fine with that LMAO why would i flip on my allies to be at the bottom of ur 3? like? no??? but i told her it’s a possibility but i think i’ll probably just steal a vote tonight and get zee out. please god don’t let her have another stinking advantage !! also i finished that book and it was extremely good. and it’s my niece’s 4th birthday.

Ugh, this vote still feels tenuous. Champ said today she wanted to take Zee out last vote (not that it would have mattered, ultimately - I KNEW she had a second idol lol). She's flat out lied to me so many times at this point, but she also knows how big of a threat Zee is. Finding the time to actually talk game with her feels like it will be impossible, though. I finally reached out to Zee last night to compliment her on still trying to unify the tribe like with the game night. She used the words 'icing out' to describe how quiet chat has been between sides, which is fair. I don't know if it was directed only at me, but even if that wasn't what I was trying to do I can see how she felt that way. It just felt like there was not even, like, pretended level of potential to work together and I didn't know how to bridge the gap of "hey even though we won't tell each other anything in-game, how's life?" and have it not seem disingenuous. So I'm glad that came out of last night. The Tony blindside definitely surprised me, and Jack coming back into the game over Colin. It really feels like it's Champ or bust with this vote but if we come to the risk of rocks, I see them possibly flipping. Now that I'm at Actual Final 6 I don't actually want to go to rocks anymore lol. It just feels like if we can get through tomorrow's vote we could get the rest of the way but who knows. If Zee has a third idol I'll lose my mind lmao. The way Kaleigh's still got her steal a vote and idol and I'm sitting over here with my flopped advantages. Sigh. Kind of incredible of her to only have one vote against her so far AND IT'S FROM ME. She's killing it. Wait. Do I have the most votes out of our 3? I do! Well, that's something I guess. Maybe I could have played a more fluid game, and tried to get the majority alliance to eat each other from the inside of it, but there's no point in thinking about that now. I'm at Final 6 and that's very neat.

I think Im getting an ear infection. I could barely sleep last night the inside of my ear was so swollen. And it hurts a lot today. Like if I brush against it at all its like. Screamy pain. If I still feel like this in the morning I already let work know I wouldnt come in. But fingers crossed it just stops hurting cause its no fun.

But despite the pain I was in, it wasnt a bad day. I had a lot of trouble sleeping, even moving to the studio for an hour last night. But eventually I did get some rest. But I still let myself stay in bed until almost 930.

I got up though and tried to at least take advantage of the little bit of time I did have.

I got washed and dressed. I liked my outfit a lot. I felt cute with my matching sweatshirt and earrings. I had breakfast and did some organizing and packing up clay for the kids to use today. I watched videos for a little bit. And I got a text from our landlady about a plumber and a HVAC guy were coming today and asking if it was okay for her to bring them in our place. And me and James answered at the same time saying almost the same thing and it made me laugh. Very cute.

Im just glad Tina is so fast to work to get things fixed

I ran into Mr Will as I was leaving. He offered me a ride over to the y site but I had time to kill. So I said goodbye and walked to walgreens to look and see if they have new squish yet. But no luck. They did have a truck outside though so maybe tomorrow if I check again.

I got to work and there were just a lot of things happening, but it wasnt a bad time. Its just a little hard to fill the hours when the kids just refuse to do the things they need to do. Their classwork and homework. Im trying to get them on task but its hard. Especially when their schedules are all so different and seem to change all the time. And it sounds like were going to have 2 more kids start tomorrow. And now we have some kids that just come in the afternoon and its just really tough.

But there were nice parts. Like helping a kid who got overwhelmed by reading. And painting and building with some of them. It was nice. And when we did finally get into the clay project I had ready for them they did such a good job and that was just really cool. Its hard to come up with so many interesting projects. But Im really glad this one was successful.

I did a lot of cleaning today and my hands smell very strongly of bleach and I hate it. I keep washing my hands but I cant seem to get it to stop smelling. But Im trying my best to ignore it.

We did have some running around time. Ball throwing. Thankfully no injuries. And then we did a drawing competition and while it was hard for some of the kids to lose, its a good thing to learn. But in doing that we had to deal with some yelling and tears. But were proud of our winner and she got some candy. It was a fair vote, everyone got 3 votes to put on different pieces and not yourself.

After that we watched a movie. Chilled out. I cleaned the class for the night and tried to make sure everyone had all their things. Which is stupid hard for some reason. Mostly chargers being the issue.

Very quickly the kids got picked up though and we got to leave at 530.

I carried the kids' sculptures home to bake. And was really happy to be back here.

James was making us falafel. And we played some animal crossing and just chilled until 7 when James got on a video call with a friend. I finished up what I was doing on the island before going to the studio to work for a little while. But I was a little distracted so I just finished one piece before calling it a night.

I took a shower and washed my hair and now I am in bed feeling very tired but I still am in pain. I hope its better tomorrow. But I dont have high hopes.

“So what the fuck was all that” or, I acknowledge that we laid all this plot stuff out like 3 years ago so if you forgot here’s a rundown of what Coda’s Deal was

As some background, when we first started this project, the main idea was to have the versions of the kids we were invested in win the game. But as we kept working, and as the world around us got progressively nastier (and listen, I drafted this explanatory post months ago, so the ride don’t stop on that account), that didn't feel like enough. The game is sick. The game is broken. The game tortures children and builds new worlds off their backs. SBURB is what gave Caliborn the power he used to become the monster he did. How would simply playing by SBURB's rules and giving it a win be a victory? To quote TLC!Roxy,

TG: when the meteors start coming down again do we just watch? TG: when we get 2 the new universe callies gonna b there and we have 2 let her suffer bc the loop says so TG: so if the rules are still gonna force us 2 do shitty stuff do we ever rly get out?? TG: how do u win a game like that?

And so, the game became the last villain. Or what the game represents: an endless cycle of profiting off torment, promoting creation at any cost. I wanted the kids to break the cycle, since so much of the story centered around breaking out of bad patterns (personal, societal, structural). Especially in light of... everything going on in the world, I wanted to tell a story about a bunch of people who had gone through absolute hell and said, No one else should ever have to do this. I wanted to tell a story about survivors saying, Tomorrow is going to be better than today, and we are going to make sure that happens. That's a conclusion several of the characters start to come to in the later parts of the comic, until Rose directly states that her goal is to make a better system (following in her Act 4 footsteps after having learned to balance destruction with creation):

ROSE: There has to be a better way to perpetuate reality. ROSE: We may be trapped in a time loop when it comes to the cherub session, but beyond that... ROSE: I don't know what, or how, but I want to do something for the world we create, if that's where we're spat out. ROSE: If we let it keep selecting a few malleable lost children as the sole survivors to keep this cycle going, we're no better than the puppetmaster we're trying to escape.

How to accomplish that? Well, one of the forces that serves as an antagonist is the Alpha timeline. Characters who make perfectly good decisions that simply deviate from what the Alpha demands are punished with death and banishment to the furthest ring.

ARADIA: working within the alpha timeline can be frustrating ARADIA: sometimes in my role as the maid of time i had to doom timelines where we succeeded because it would cause a paradox down the line ARADIA: for example you had to create the cancer in the humans genesis frog, otherwise a whole chain of events contributing to our own existence wouldnt be! ARADIA: there were realities where you didnt make the same mistakes ARADIA: there were some where we all did great

TG: it sux that it works this way TG: that u need some sort of hacky workaround 2 not die bc someone down the line fucked up or mayb u were just in the wrong place at the wrong time

In canon, it is established that the Alpha timeline is based on Lord English, as Scratch explains by saying,

The path which alone has my absolute mastery is the alpha timeline, a continuum I define as that which boasts exclusive rights both to my birth and to my death, two circumstantially simultaneous events.

Which means, without the Lord of Time forcing all viable timelines to feed into his being, multiple timelines could hypothetically coexist as long as none of them break other pre-existing loops.

ARADIA: english narrowed the options to direct all energy toward his desired outcomes much like a virus repurposing a cells production mechanisms to reproduce itself instead ARADIA: but he is gone now ARADIA: there are plenty of realities my selves left behind that could have survived if not for his loops and his insistence on wiping clean all offshoots that did not contribute to him ARADIA: an insistence that bled into the very laws of the universe ARADIA: but with his defeat the way forward is much broader

The alpha timeline isn't the only oppressive force at play, however. The other is the game and behind that, Skaia itself. Skaia is portrayed as a benevolent force for creation, but it supports a system where killing children isn't a bug. It's a feature. It's very devoted to the bigger picture and the greater good at the expense of the people caught in the system's gears, which sounds... familiar. Sure, Skaia could just exist, but Homestuck is an origin story. Almost everything has a starting point, so why not Skaia and the game too?

DIRK: The point is, this game didn't come out of nowhere. DIRK: Someone had to make it.

It made sense to me to have a benevolent cherub behind that, just as a malevolent cherub is behind the alpha timeline. So, enter alt!Calliope.

CALLIOPE: through the rules of the game that brought you here, i gave you my blessing. CALLIOPE: in doing so i hope i have created a battlefield for soldiers to rise up against him, even as my efforts brought about his own birth. CALLIOPE: both he and i labor bound to our own path from creation to destruction, locked in an ouroboros that will only end when you have passed through the final door.

JADE: just to make sure im understanding you correctly JADE: youre behind the game that ruined our lives?

And if one Muse of Space got us into this mess...

CALLIOPE: if she'd grown Up with friends like i had, she woUldn't have bUilt it that way, i know she woUldn't have. ROSE: Maybe this is your chance to set it right. CALLIOPE: what? ROSE: You're a Muse of Space too. ROSE: If she had the ability to craft the inner workings of an entire multiverse-spanning system and set it in motion, you must have that potential too. ROSE: Maybe you can change the rules.

In the walkarounds, Rose starts making her case to the other characters.

ROSE: Your mistake with the DNA affected our game session, which means the frog's construction influences how SBURB games launched within it are played. ROSE: If you did that accidentally, we might be able to influence future SBURB sessions intentionally.

And in the last update before our two flashes, they make their plan and put it to a vote.

ROXY: we need 2 come up w/ a world we like

That brings us to Coda. The alpha timeline (red snake) winds around the dream bubbles filled with ghosts who were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. Skaia's influence (green snake) winds around the events it engineered. We see the characters digging into DNA readouts, temple carvings, etc. to figure out how to reverse engineer the game. Then Calliope makes it happen, banishing the ouroboros of the two cherubs' influence so they won't poison the new universe. But of course, if we are banishing the alpha timeline and saying any number of realities can exist concurrently, we can't see any of them. That would be pinning us down to one. So, as Calliope works her magic, the viewers lose sight of the characters, so they can finally be free. Because if we're rebelling against authority, even we authors have to step aside in the end.

And so, for now, let’s drop the curtains and take our bow. :) As for what’s behind those curtains, who’s to say? Maybe us. Maybe you. Maybe everyone.

Strawberries and Chocolates

Pairing: JB x Reader x Yugyeom Genre: Fluff; Warnings: None!

You were in love with your childhood friend, Im Jaebum for as long as you can remember. But you have been keeping it a secret which slipped out one drunken night with him. Avoiding the awkward confrontation, you employed your neighbor Kim Yugyeom to pretend to be your boyfriend.

“Y/N!”, the old woman squealed in delight as she recognized your face when you approached closer. “My dear! I thought I’d never see you again.”

“It’s nice to see you again, Nana.”, you greeted and gave her a hug.

She hit JB’s hands who was holding the wheelchair she is sitting on, “This man didn’t tell me you’re coming to visit.”

“Well, I love seeing your surprised face, Nana.”, JB gave a mischievous grin at the old woman who held your hand tightly as JB pushed while you three walk across the garden of the facility.

“So tell me dear, how have you been?”, she asked.

“I’m doing great, Nana. Busy with work.”

“Are you already married?”

You and JB unconsciously looked at each other and you grinned, “No, Nana. I’m not married.”

“I already had two kids when I was your age. But I guess the times are different now. Even this old man here is still single.”, she tells you, gesturing at JB behind her. You laughed at her calling him ‘old man’.

“Oh!”, she suddenly clapped her hands as if she had an idea, “Since you both are single, how about you two get married?”

You gave an awkward laugh, but thankfully JB saved you from answering, “Nana, this girl here is off limits to me. And she already has someone to marry her. We’re just waiting for when that is. Right, Y/N?”, he said and suddenly turned to you.

You nodded awkwardly smiling, and he returned his focus to the old woman, “See? Don’t get your hopes up. We already are blessed with her visit today.”

The visit continued with a few more stories from JB’s grandmother. Some of which you already heard when you were younger, but you still enjoyed it nonetheless. You frequented her house when you were just kids and have been treated like one of her grandchildren, you didn’t know how much you missed her until you saw her again today. Apart from the marks of her age, she seems to haven’t changed much, still the same sweet, warm grandmother you cherish.

“Thank you.”, you tell JB on the other end of the phone that night as you get ready for bed.

“What do you mean? I’m the one who should thank you for visiting Nana with me.”

“I didn’t even realize how long since I’ve seen her.”

“She always asks about you whenever I visit.”

“I’m sorry for not keeping in touch.”

“Don’t be. You’re living well. Knowing that is already enough.” JB said, “Hey, do you want to listen to music?”

“Hmm?”, checking the clock, a little past midnight and you’re just laying in bed waiting for sleep anyway. So you answered, “Sure.”

“Hold on.”, you hear ruffles from the other end and a start of a music. “Hello? Are you still there?”

“Yup.”, you answer lazily.

“Can you hear the song?”

“Yup. It sounds good, what is it?”

“Best Part.”, he smiled, pleased that you liked it. “What are your plans, tomorrow?”

“Hmmm… Mark asked to accompany him to buy a gift for Kat. You?”

“Just work.”

You two spent the next hours talking about nothing and everything, with his song playlist in the background. Somehow you were happy, this is just like what you two would do during your teenage years.

“Sorry Nana had to make it awkward earlier.”, he suddenly mentioned.

“About us being together? Well, our ship has sunked when you got a girlfriend.”, you tried to laugh it off.

You heard him hesitate at the other end, “You left me first.”, his voiced quiet. As if he just spoke to himself.

There was a pause. And when you didn’t say anything, he diverted the conversation, “I should probably let you sleep now. Mark will be mad if you get late.”

“I’ll make sure to tell him that you’re the cause if I am.”

He laughed a little, “Good night, Y/N.”

“Good night, JB.”

“Honestly, you don’t even need me for this, do you, Mark Tuan?”, you asked when you were both sitting at the lounge area of the jewelry shop, waiting for his gift to be wrapped.

Mark just gave you a chuckle, “You got me. I actually just wanted to spend the day with one of my friends, is that bad?”

“Well you are going to marry Kat in a few days, so I guess that’s torture enough.”, you both laughed at your comment, “and you’re going to have to treat me to food.”

“Of course.”, Mark nodded.

After getting the gift wrapped present, you both are now walking around the mall with ice cream on your hands.

“Any warnings for me?”, Mark suddenly asked. “before I get married.”, he clarified. You can tell he had been thinking how to ask it ever since you saw each other that morning.

“About Kat? I don’t think you need any warning. You’ve been with each other for so long now. If there’s any flaws from her that would make you think twice about marrying her, you should’ve seen it by now, don’t you think?”

He nodded and smiled contentedly, and you added, “plus, there’s always divorce.”

And you both laughed out loud.

“Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind.”, Mark tells you and pulled you closer, putting his arms around your shoulder. “If only you and JB had ended up together, we could’ve done a perfect double wedding!”

You laughed again, “That’s not my fault, your boy got himself hooked first.”

Mark got silent, “Can I tell you a secret?”

You pulled away from him to look at his face, “What’s up?”

“You’re actually the one who friend-zoned him.”

“Don’t bullshit me, Mark.” You said and resumed walking, taking a lick of the ice cream on your hand.

“Remember the night of your graduation and JB and I drove to your college to congratulate you?”, Mark began, “He was rehearsing all day on how to confess. But somehow that night on the party, we overheard you telling your college friends that he is clearly “just” your friend. And he’s like a “brother” to you.”

You looked at Mark again, trying hard to read if he’s lying.

“Swear to God!”, he raised his palm up.

Now, you remembered how JB said, “You left me first.” the night before.

You were suddenly brought back by Yugyeom snapping his fingers in front of your face.

“Are you okay?”, he asked before opening the instant noodle on his hand.

You were apparently zoning out, staring into space, the coffee that you’re stirring absentmindedly is now cold.

“Yeah, I’m okay. Just…. Thinking.”, you say. You got up from the seat and went to the sink to pour out the cold coffee from your mug.

“Do you want to talk about it?”, Yugyeom asked, blowing on the hot noodles and slurping a few strands.

You sat down in front of him at your dining table.

“Mark said I friend-zoned him.”

Yugyeom curled his brows, “Does Mark like you?”

“No! I meant him! JB is him!”, you say frustrated.

Yugyeom nodded again, “And so?”

“I don’t know. I don’t know what to think anymore.”

“Well, as I told you before, it’s just up to you to decide if you want to be together or not.”

You pouted, “Clearly easier said than done.”

Yugyeom shuffled your hair, “Cliche as this would sound, just follow your heart.” Afterwards he got up and threw the cup of noodles into your trash. You didn’t notice it was barely half eaten. He left quickly without looking back.

It was only a few days away from KatMark wedding and it’s been awhile since you’ve heard from Yugyeom. You ended up oversleeping and getting late to work because noones knocking at your door early mornings. Your little apartment got quieter, too. You try to check up with him, but your call only gets routed to voicemails.

The day before the wedding, you finally decided to go straight to his apartment. You are about to knock on his door when you saw a beautiful girl standing outside his apartment.

“Excuse me, “, you say trying to get her attention, “Can I help you?”

“Oh, it’s you!”, she said. You tried to remember if you know her from somewhere but can’t seem to recognize her. “I’m one of Gyeom’s clients.”

“Clients…?”, you asked, puzzled.

“He was helping some of us strippers, to do stretching. Kind of like a therapy for dancers.”, she explained.

“Oh.”, you answered but is still confused.

“I think I got his phone charger by mistake so I’m just returning it.”, she said and handed you the charger from her bag.

“Okay,”, you replied, standing awkwardly.

“You really look lovely.”, She said and just looking at you, fondly. “If Yugyeom didn’t have a girlfriend like you, me and a few others would have humped him in a heartbeat.”

“Uhm... thanks.”, you thought maybe it’s part of the “pretend-boyfriend” you asked of him, which is why he said you’re his girlfriend.

“I’m sorry I acted like we know each other!”, she laughed, “It’s just that I’ve been his client for a year now and he always tells me about you and how in love you are with each other so it’s like I’ve known you for so long, too.”

This time your eyes widen in surprise, “… a year?”, thinking maybe you heard it wrong.

“Yup. A year of him telling me your stories. I can tell he’s really fond of you.”, she confirmed. “Anyway, I should probably leave. Just say hello to him for me, alright?”

She left, and you were left standing in front of his door.

You knocked a few times but clearly no one is there. Just when you need him the most. You needed answers. Clearly, there’s a lot of things you don’t know about your annoying neighbor. Why would he say you’re his girlfriend for a year now? Why would he say he has hook-ups and not doing dancer therapy? And why don’t you see him anymore?

It is now the day of the wedding. You were still half-hoping Yugyeom will show up at your door to keep his end of the deal. You were already dressed ready, staring at the clicking clock on your wall, waiting.

“Let’s give him five more minutes.”, you say to yourself.

And in just a few ticks, you heard a knock from your door. You got up and opened it quickly and was surprised to see JB standing on the other side.

“Hi”, he greeted.

When you didn’t say anything, he handed you a note, “Yugyeom asked me to give this to you.”

You opened the note to read it while JB showed himself in, sitting on the couch.

“Y/N, because I know you so well, I know you’re not going to do anything, so I made the decision for you.

I attended Mark’s bachelor party and talked to JB. I told him everything. How you asked me for a favor to pretend to be your boyfriend. How scared you are of what would happen to your friendship. He said he’ll take care of you, so you don’t have to worry.

I also wanted to say thank you. During the time we were acting, I was really happy. The truth is, I’m scared, too. I’m scared you’ll notice that I’m actually not acting. Because of that, I’m sorry I had to go away for a while.

But, this is all for the best, right? Now, you get to have your JB.”

You attended the wedding with JB, as each other’s date. You thought it was going to be awkward, but it isn’t. He still exudes that familiar air when you’re together, and you were comfortable.

You celebrated the wedding of your friends, touched by their personalized speeches, and cheered when they kissed at the end. At the reception, you danced with them. And you weren’t embarrassed. But in all of this, you think of Yugyeom.

You were lining up at the buffet and was in the desert area. There were two options for the cake, either you get the strawberry one or the chocolate one. Knowing your friends, they must’ve done this to get a truce since Kat preferred chocolate and Mark loves strawberries.

Without thinking, you got a plate of the chocolate one and sat in your table. You caught JB staring at you. “What?”, you asked.

He grinned, “I would’ve thought for sure you’re going to pick strawberries.”

You looked at the cake on your plate again, the brown chocolate flavored cake.

“Don’t you remember it’s always been our favorite? I clearly remember Kat the only odd one out of us to order chocolate every time we go out.”, he took a bite of his food, and added. “But maybe people’s taste differs over time.”

You were silent, remembering those times when you were in high school. The truth is, you love chocolates, you always have. You clearly remember you only pretended to like strawberries because JB likes it, too.

“JB…”, you say, “I wanted to tell you something.”

You confessed about the strawberries, but he just laughed it off.

“JB, that’s not all.”, you pouted. Clearly, your date doesn’t take your confessions seriously. “And this next confession is really big.”

“Y/N, you know there’s really nothing about you that would make me think twice about what I feel for you.”

When you’re still pouting, he sighed and put down the spoon and fork from his hand and gave you his full attention, “Okay, what is it?”

“I actually prefer dogs than cats.”

He laughed again, thinking of how cute you are. He couldn’t care less which you prefer. He will accept you whole-heartedly. He sighed when you’re still staring at him. He held your hand. “Y/N, I love you. You know that now, right?”

You nodded.

“Because I love you, I’m going to tell you this.”, he bit his lip. “Don’t you think you’re telling me all of these confessions to make me think twice about you, because you are the one who’s thinking twice about me? About us. About this.”

You froze up on what he said. But he continued, “Or… Maybe you’re already thinking of someone else.”

Inside JYP studio, an rnb song’s intro played, and Yugyeom started dancing to it, being immersed in the song, he has his eyes closed.

Suddenly, the song stopped, and he heard someone ask, “What do you mean you’re not acting?”

He opened his eyes to see you walking closer to him. “Why did you tell your stripper clients I’m your girlfriend when we still haven’t agreed to it yet?”

When you reached in front of him, you asked another, “Why did you go away?”

Yugyeom bit his lip. “How’s the wedding?”, he asked. “Shouldn’t you be out there, having dinner with your ‘actual’ boyfriend?”

“I’d rather be here.”

He looked at you, wondering what you meant. “Did you just waste the opportunity I gave you?”

“I can’t be with JB, Gyeom.”, you stepped a little closer. “I’d rather be with you.”

You hovered your lips above his, waiting. As if asking his permission if you can kiss him. He looked at your eyes, verifying if you meant it. Or if it’s real. In a heartbeat and without warning, he kissed you. Both your eyes closed, your hands reaching for his nape while his hands on your back, pulling you closer to him.

It was passionate, like you both have been thirsting for it for a while now. And it felt so good and so right. And it tasted even better than chocolates.

i did An Activity yesterday and since id done one the previous day too my body feels like ive been poisoned. probably especially because i drank one (1) beer last evening and i knew i would regret it. feels like pure misery, like my whole body and brain are tryna die.

however i had a lot of fun yesterday, i spent money i dont have on artists’ stuff at an oddities/art fair . a lot of the art vendors were older women and so fucking cool and nice and 6 diff people commented on my “Vote Socialist Workers /Say Yes to E.R.A.” button and i was like !!!!!solidarity!!!!!! my boyfriend spent money he doesnt have on me too

so im smoking this weed i got rn mixed with regular weed and its helping so much along with my heating pad. normally i dont like smoking weed but when im in extra pain this shit rlly does work amazingly. also thank god for heating pads holy shit

there was one guy whos art was so, genunienly, amazingly relatable and chronic illness related and it deeply moved me but i was too poor to afford the pieces i wanted to buy and im mad at myself for not buying at least a cheap thing or two to have some of his art at least and give him a sale. so kinda kicking myself abt that but i have his card ..

Anyway after the fair we went bowling w our friends and it was lots of fun.i finally got to talk to amber like deeply and i think we need each other, spiritually. i think we are in rlly similar places in life and need each others friendship and i feel like itd have potential for healing for both of us.

its funny -- on thursday at therapy i was telling my therapist , how fucking depressed ive been this past week, far more than usual, getting out of bed nearly impossible, neglecting a lot of things, but having anxiety about it all. having just enough energy to care about A Thing but not enough energy to do anything about it, which results in this horrible feeling i call anxiety. but literally the day after therapy, things started happening. particularly, very nice experiences and very nice people . like suddenly and without my planning or effort. thursday was So Weird too, it was beginning to storm during therapy and lightning was flashing, i was having computer trouble the day before (trying to watch The Grudge 2 made my computer crash and get all fucked up and my bf had to take my PC apart and figure it out). while my therapist was having bizarre phone problems during my session and all i could think was its scorpio season babey. especially w how deeply i feel connected with jay and amber from this weekend, and then how intense the rave was, my soul feels alive again when the past week it has felt like it was dying theres no other way to describe it.

im just rllly fuckin kinda not sure what im gonna do tomorrow cause the photay concert is tomorrow night and i straight up borrowed all of todays spoons this past weekend, and i fear some of tomorrows spoons as well. hoooo boy.

but i have a feeling its gonna be alright. im feeling grateful n thankful for how many wonderful things come to me. its good to be reminded i cant just assume what the futures gonna be like; it can be better than i am capable of imagining.

n now im gonna smoke more weed and watch something comforting and/or festive and hydrate

Day One was possibly the worst. I didn’t know anyone, nor did anyone know me. I didn’t want to sit through this stupid therapy session we had to do, but of course, I was forced. They allowed me to bring someone for the first group therapy, so I wasn’t uncomfortable. Ethan stayed with me throughout the whole thing.

Everyone in my part of the hospital was between the ages 13-17. One girl was there for trying to commit suicide, I found out her name was Amber, and she’s 14. Elisia, 16, had gone for anger management issues. Tyler, same age as me, was there for drug use.

To be honest, I didn’t think I belonged here. I mean, in the back of my mind, I knew knew I did, but I just felt out of the loop at the moment. Everyone already knew eachother, and I just got there.

Ethan had to leave after therapy, and it hurt me to see him go. “I promise I’ll visit you everyday. Only 365 days.” Ethan assured you you would be okay.

“I’m gonna miss you E.” I say, pulling him in for a hug and a kiss.

“Okay, visiting hours are over. All friends and family must leave.” The announcement went through the speakers, and I walked Ethan to the door.

Day Two was slightly better, I started talking to a few people, Olivia, Tyler, and Faith. Olivia and Tyler were both 17, and Faith was 16.

Tyler had been in here for about a year before this, Olivia about 7 months, and Faith for only about 2 months before I had come.

All we really did today was sit around and get to know eachother. We played random card games, ate, and just sat around mainly.

Ethan came and visited again, during visiting hours. Just like he said he would. It brought joy to my eyes too see him.

3 to 5 o clock, every day. Those were visiting hours. 3 pm to 5 pm.

“Hey babe. I’m here, just like I said I would be.” Ethan came through the glass doors that led to the main room of the facility. He stood in the same spot for a minute and looked around until he saw you at a table with Tyler, Faith, and Olivia.

You stood up from the table and pulled him in for a hug. You ran your small, yet nimble fingers through his ruffled up hair, probably caused by Grayson.

“How’s your mom doing?” You ask, pushing him off of you but still holding onto him. Ethan laughed and looked at you, answering softly, “You just saw her yesterday, y/n. Right before we came here.”

“I know, E. But hey, I have to ask how my second mom is doing. You know I do.”

Your fingers went up and through his hair again. He smiled again and said, “I know, I know. She’s doing great. She said she might visit you on Sunday, because that’s her only day off from work. My dad might come too, and Cameron.”

You smiled and thought of the entire Dolan family seeing you here, which brought your face to a frown.

You didn’t want to seem weak around them. You knew they already knew you were here, but they didn’t see you here yet. It was scary, the thought of them seeing you like this.

Maybe they’d think you weren’t good enough for Ethan. They’d make Ethan stop seeing you. You couldn’t stand the thought of that. You shook your head and looked back up at Ethan.

He could tell something was off about you for that minute. Your troubled past caused you to space out from time to time, and it probably wasn’t going to stop anytime soon.

“You okay?” Ethan asks, resting his hand on your shoulder and rubbing it for a minute before bringing it back down.

“Yeah, yeah. I’m okay.” You say, smiling at him and sitting back down at the table, “These are my new friends. Ethan, Tyler. Tyler, Ethan. Olivia, Ethan. Ethan, Olivia. Faith, Ethan. Ethan, Faith.”

You took your time introducing everyone and after your introduction, Ethan immediately went into a conversation, like the social butterfly he is.

Tyler and Ethan had a pretty intense conversation about Tyler’s life. Ethan wanted to know more about why people choose to do drugs. In his mind, there are so many things you can do to make yourself happy besides drugs. But in Tyler’s, it’s the only thing that made him happy.

You, Faith, and Olivia were doing an even intenser range of things. Playing a game of Skip-Bo. It happened to be your favorite game since you were about 7, your grandma being the one to start your love for the game.

Now, at the age of 17, your love still hasn’t stopped.

“Hey, babe, I only have 30 minutes left.” Ethan says, scooting closer to your and whispering the words in your ear as you lie down a number 2 card.

“Do you and Tyler want to join our game?” You ask, already starting to hand the two of the boys' cards.

Day 29. It’s almost been your first month since you’ve started here. Ethan still came every day, just as he promised.

It was now 8 pm, meaning you had 2 hours before lights out. Everyone from ages 13-15 were required to go to sleep by nine, and everyone ages 16 and 17 were allowed to stay awake until 10 if they wanted to.

Every Thursday they put on “movie night” where the kids got to vote on a movie and watch it together with popcorn and blankets. The movie had to be Pg 13, due to the fact some of the kids could get triggered by certain things showed on R rated movies.

You couldn't begin to imagine the things that could cause an outburst in this place. In the past 24 hours, we've had three emotional outbursts.

"Michael, sweetie. Calm down." Mrs. DeGram said as Ms. Weiss held him down due to his frustration.

Michael's mom hadn't shown up to visiting hours, but Michael was determined she'd show up.

"No! My mom will be here, she's just running late!" Michael screamed, pushing away from Ms. Weiss. Ms. Weiss got ahold of him again and held him down gently in order to calm him down.

"Michael, you need some food and some rest. Come with me." Mrs. DeGram says, holding Michael's hand as she pulls him down the small hallway that led to the dining area, where a few of the kids were seated.

Michael's mom came today, she sat and explained to him that his younger sister, Gabriella, was feeling sick last night so they brought her to see a doctor.

Faith also had a panic attack. Her father, whom she hadn't seen in ages, decided last night would be the perfect time to see her.

Faith had to be pulled away from the tall brown headed man that sat ahead of her after she screamed and clawed at him as she called him a "dirty cheating bastard"

Olivia held her closely as she shook from under her arm, whispering things to her to calm her down as her father was kicked off of the premises.

Gabe, the newest member of the facility, was having major drug withdrawals. Him and Tyler began talking about what made them start doing drugs, which seemed to have calmed Gabe down a bit.

Gabe and Tyler began laughing about their first time trying ecstasy, as me, Olivia, and Faith were playing yet another game of skip-bo.

Day 121, about 4 months in. Ethan still came to visit everyday. Seeing his tall body walk through the big glass doors, opening his arms for the hug you greeted him with every day.

“Y/n, baby. I’ve missed you.” Ethan states as he pulls you back in for a hug, his grip beginning to get tighter.

“Dude, I was actually just so happy when I did it. I just wanted to do everything I’ve ever wanted right then and there.” Tyler began telling Gabe, the two of them still talking about ecstasy.

“Are they talking about drugs?” Ethan says, looking at the two of them and back at you.

You smiled at him and gripped onto his arms, nodding your head, “Yeah, ecstasy I think.”

Ethan just nods and the two of you take a seat, joining in on the conversation Faith and Olivia were having. Faith was laughing at some joke Ethan had made, while you and Olivia were talking more about family life and other random things.

Olivia’s mom passed from cancer a few years back, that’s what initially started her depression. Her dad took a tough road when it happened as well, but the two of them stuck together through it all. He visits her every Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday. The other days he has to work late.

You turned to Ethan and laughed at some joke he made once again, causing him to grin and pull you in for another hug. You continued to laugh as you thought more about it. The joke wasn’t that funny, it was just some dad joke he probably saw on a popsicle stick before coming here.

The next hour went by pretty quick, meaning Ethan would have to leave in the next few minutes.

“I’ll see you tomorrow, right?” You ask, hugging Ethan again and kissing him before he had to go.

“Of course you will y/n. I wouldn’t forget.” Ethan says, holding you closely as your head rested on his shoulder.

The next few months were basically the same, a few of the kids getting out and a few being transferred to the adult facility due to birthdays and being officially 18.

It was now March 17th. Meaning I had about 3 more months before I was officially out of this place. They told me I would have to stay in the adult facility for a few days because I joined only 5 days after my 17th birthday, so I would turn 18 before they could legally let me out.

Eventually, 3 o clock rolled around. I sat at the normal table I did while I waited for Ethan to show up.

4 pm and he still wasn’t here. Maybe he had something come up. You didn’t want to worry too much, but in the back of your head you were extremely scared.

“y/n, sweetie. He’ll be here tomorrow, just ignore it okay? I’m sure everything is fine.” Olivia said, pulling me in for a hug. Faith joined in soon after, which eventually led to a group hug with Me, Olivia, Faith, Gabe, and Tyler. The four of them all knew how much Ethan meant to me and how worried I was when he hadn’t shown up for today's visit.

Soon enough, the next day rolled around.

Ethan wasn’t here for this visiting either. My mind seemed to be a jumbled up mess at the time, my anxiety kicking in.

Ethan had to show up, I know he did. He wouldn’t be late unless something bad happened. It wasn’t like him to do that.

The next 2 weeks went by slowly, each day getting more painful. Ethan still hadn’t been there. You did everything in your power to ignore it but as the days went on you seemed to have just gotten more worried and more hurt.

27 days later. Ethan hadn’t been there. You went over to the nurses office, where you asked Ms. Weiss if you could talk to her for a minute.

“Of course y/n. What do you need dear?” Ms. Weiss said, allowing you to come into her office. You smile at her politeness and take a seat before asking, “Can you take Ethan Dolan’s name off of the visiting list?”

She simply gives you a “is everything alright” look and then nods before going onto her computer to delete his name from the visiting list. “Would you like to continue receiving letters from him?”

You nod and say that it’s okay if she kept that, maybe he would be able to explain himself.

As you leave Ms. Weiss room, Faith runs up to you and pulls you over to where Olivia and Tyler were sitting, Tyler yelling at Olivia for an unknown reason.

“Faith, what’s going on?” You ask, whisper-yelling into her ear. She shrugs and responds with, “I think something Olivia said upset Tyler. I don’t know what! Please help.”

You nod at Faith and pull her in for a hug before telling her to go get one of the nurses to separate the two.

The nurse comes back and pulls the two away from eachother and brings Tyler over to another area where Gabe was seated. You and Olivia talked about what happened and Faith sat in silence for the rest of the day, probably shaken up by two of her closest friends here getting into such a big fight.

A fight between them wasn’t a very common thing, most of the time everything was nice and dandy.

1 week later. Ethan had tried to show up his 28th day, you saw him. But the nurse waved him off and after a bit of arguing, he left.

“y/n. These are for you.” Mrs. DeGram says, handing you a basket filled with roses. You look at it for a minute, confused as to who would send you so many roses. You turn it and see an envelope, which eases your confusion for a minute.

Y/n, the envelope said very large across the top. It was clearly Ethan’s handwriting. You ripped the envelope open and started reading.

“Y/n. I just want to begin and say how sorry I am. I skipped the past 27 days because I needed time to think. It hurt me to see you like this and I kept on my tough guy face for you. But I couldn’t do it anymore and I didn’t want you to see me like that. I didn’t want you to worry. And I know you’re angry with me. But please, please put my name back on the list so I can talk to you. I miss you. -E”

You were still a bit angry, but you couldn’t be mad at him for too long. You walked to Ms. Weiss’ office and asked her to put Ethan’s name back on the list. She nodded and smiled as you left the room to go back to talking to Olivia and Faith.

Soon enough, the next day rolled around. Ethan came, right at 3 o clock. He lightly smiled at you as he walked towards you, giving you a hug.

You weeped in his arms. You didn’t expect to be sad when you saw him. You thought you’d be angry. But it wasn’t the case. You hadn’t realized how much you really missed him til now.

Ethan began to explain himself, and if I’m being honest, it took a lot of time and tears before he could fully get it out.

“Ethan. Why so many roses? I mean, you could’ve just gotten me one and it would have been okay.” You ask, looking at the plentiful amount of roses that were still seated at the table they had been when you got them.

“27 roses for every day I missed.” Ethan says, hugging you again and kissing your forehead. You smiled and pulled away.

“I love you, doofus.”

Ethan grinned and laughed, “I love you too, y/n. And I’m not going anywhere anytime soon. I’ll be right with you when you’re outta this place.”

Episode 2 - "I DON'T WANT THE MYSTERY MOUSE-CA-TOOL BESTIE" - Ellie

At the tribal, Ping was voted out of the Pendragon Tribe nearly unamimously. Tribal immunity for this round is Pictionary.

I bet all these bitches know i voted for Keith and now they are going to come kill me in my sleep if i die i blame dylan

yass round 2 i either think im in the best position on this tribe or theyre all secretly coming for me thats all

Tribal went as well as I expected it to go. No major drama. It seems like Keith is in real trouble if we do go to tribal again though which would put me in a very tricky spot. For now, though, I will be trying my best in the upcoming challenge. The problem is, however, timezones and schedules. Jon is going to be our drawer, but he can only do it tonight or in the early afternoon tomorrow which I will not be there for. Additionally, Keith is asleep so we have no idea what his schedule is going to be so we basically had to schedule the challenge without him. And Nya could only do right before the deadline tomorrow which Jon cannot do. I hate this for us, truly. I just hope that Moth and I can rub our brain cells together for this one so that we can pull out a win. OR somehow the other tribes fail horribly. On the bright side, I am finally starting to catch up on Duolingo exercises. They're a lot easier than I thought, but it is still going to be tedious af to save up enough coins for some of the higher end products at the shop. As a final note, I am going to work with Nya in the long term as we promised each other to. Hopefully that actually works out. Time to actually be loyal and be a hero this time around. Need to try something different.

If we lose this challenge, I will be very upset. We went so hard on this challenge!!! I believe that we can at least get second place, but I don't know how crazy the other tribes are. So, let's see what goes on

Ayyyyy soooooooo looks like the four, Colin, me, Ava, and Brayden are officially in an alliance!? I’m really hyped to be working with everybody and already have sights on who should go if we have to go to tribal 👀 but like I’m gonna feel so bad if we go to tribal and I orchestrate a whole plan to take someone out I gotta do it when I’m not in my feels and the planets aren’t fucking with my emotions too heavy. But go alliance ! This means I’ll be able to stay safe until hopefully a merge and hopefully we can avoid a tribe swap till then which I get those vibe from it !! But I’ll be here to survive two more tribals just in case which is pretty rad. Other then that hopefully me offering to draw doesn’t end us up in the bottom and we can keep killing ! But anyways that is it as off know hopefully I have a lot more coins tomorrow morning and I get hit the hat shop bright and motherfucking early.

Just got asked to be apart of an alliance <33333 the besties in the group trust me which maybe ain't the right move but for now we gotta love the bonding. exciting!!!

YAY FOR ROUND 2! Okay, so I meet once again with the Hat Shop and... third times the charm! Except,,, the charm is getting nothing AGAIN lmao I'm not complaining though, still got that extra vote :P I stayed up at 1 AM for this challenge, and I honestly think our team popped off. Anastasia was guessing a ton, and Riley was amazing at drawing real quick! I have a relatively good feeling about our performance, so I hope I wake up to the news of our tribe being immune :D

so yesterday I set myself on a mission to get an alliance. I wanted Ava + Brayden + Toph + me as a majority alliance. it was our day off from tribal so I thought it was the perfect day to do it!! I talked to Brayden about it first because he's the person I feel the most comfortable with, and then after a lot of coordination and careful communication I was able to pull it together!! I think the most important thing when making alliances is making everyone feel like they're a big part in it. So I was careful to ask each person how they feel about the others, about the game, and made a point to say that I wanted to work with them specifically. Some may call that a little manipulative, but I wanna make sure that I'm an essential part of the alliance!! i need everyone to feel like they need/want me there.

all of this happening so soon into the game is a testament to how aggressive I'm playing this time around. I usually like to lay low and just rely solely on my social game in the start, but I'm trying this out to establish myself early on! I wanted to play the tribe leader and I think I'm doing that in a smart and subtle way!!

so yes now we have a 4 person majority alliance named "duolingo owl hate club" because fuck that guy. I think we're the 4 most active and present people on the tribe so it's only natural for us to work together, but I think it's definitely worth noting that I was the one that was pulling the strings here.

We just did the pictionary challenge, I have a good feeling about it!! Toph was an amazing artist, and if we win, all credit rightfully goes to him!! I think the guessers also did great of course, but like come on, the artist has to be the mvp. I'm really hoping we pull through!! I don't mind going to tribal, but I genuinely don't wanna vote anyone out yet. I'm fine just playing the game in a precautionary way. I know I'm in a great position if we do go to tribal, but it's always preferred that we don't go.

Toph Soooooo we finished the challenge with 32 points and like wig !! I was a quick as drawer for 32pts expect when my internet lagged, but still ! I think we whooped some ass and if we do go to tribal I know it won’t be me going, thanks to Duolingo owl hate club but I’m also worried same could have and advantage because they seem pretty kean on learning a lot in like 3 hours and then tried to cover that statement to not seem so threatening but like babs s a huge threat too apparently they love Duolingo and know 5 laugnes ? This is from brayden but If so go babs ! That’s absolutely iconic for real Life but fucking scary in this game ! I gotta be buddy buddy with them so hopefully if they do have something it won’t be them going home first and it will be Ava. But I’m thinking we might get second place again unless someone is a fucking wizard at this.

anastasia asked me to call yesterday and i was like sure lets talk but it is damn near impossible to hold a conversation with her idk i tried BUT she did tell me “yeah i just got off a call with ellie” im like i see. she says shes down to work with ellie but that quickly switched from ellie being ~experienced~ but good to know ellie is also playing hard. anastasia also mentioned that she talks to riley a fair amount who i still have yet to connect to well. but dat makes me think ellie is def talking to riley too miss debate team is definitely a talker. but good on her for the social game i guess

Ava Second challenge was Pictionary and I had a ton of fun playing. The tea is: toph did a great job. He was pretty vocal about not being a great artist but really I think he did great. However, Babs was super inactive yesterday and ~too late~ said they were a great artist and should've been picked to draw. It was kind of like.... k babs thanks for the belated "help". They did do great guessing which scored a point in my book. Brayden was supposed to play but last minute logged off without saying anything so we did the challenge without him :/ sorta a bummer. Anyway the lack of participation from Sam is kind of popping off so we'll see where that leads them... Overall a fun game and fingers crossed we did well!

Moth I think we did okay at the challenge. Today I am dying from the heatwave so I’m not thinking too straight! Stay cool everyone

Ellie So yesterday Anastasia and I called for about an hour!!! I’d say we’re definitely way closer, she’s someone I really wanna work with although the idea of her and Brayden eventually being on the same tribe is kinda scary cause I know how close they are. Still she’s so fun to talk to and I just love her energy so much!

Happy I made it out of that tribal. I had raffy backing me with whom I played. Last time we played. We were at odds. We didnt work together but whats worse that we were against each other. It was either him or me goin out. Hopefully thats the past n we can work together. I jus need to keep things calm n show that Im not here itching to make big moves. So they dont feel threatened by me. N its easy cause right now. I havnt made that kind og bond with anyone on my tribe. To even think of such moves. Lets see what round two holds for me.

I was really bummed tbh. Like I thought we did well but circumstances with the challenge were just really unfortunate, from conflict about who wanted to be the artist to people disappearing the moment the challenge started, I think we did well despite all of that. Except we did kinda get stomped anyway. Oh well!! The game moves on. Tribal has to happen.

Initially I was gonna push for Babs, just because I feel like I don't wanna attach myself to them too early on. I've seen how much of a bitter player they can be, and lets just say I'm not the most loyal ally to have. however! 9 minutes after we lost, Ava announces to our alliance that she's voting Sam. I wasn't surprised, Sam has been the one not really pulling their weight. But I had some good connections with her!! we both did colorguard and shes so sweet and easy to talk to. I was really conflicted for a little bit, debating on whether or not to actually push for Babs. I think brayden sensed my hesitance but we both knew there was nothing really I could do to stop Sam from being the vote. At first tribal, the initial name always spreads like wildfire.

However, my mess was stopped abruptly by Sam asking to be voted out. welp!! okay then!! babs stays i guess!! i'm not too bothered. I'll never turn down an easy vote hehe.

Ep. 12: “This round feels like a season of glee” - Steven

Anastasia

So I did something finally. I flipped on the newbies and sent Madi home. Honestly the only thing I did differently was actually think about the game and numbers. Plus I talked to people and made a really good bond with DeNara. I'm also a little better with Raffy, not that it matters bcs we are somehow getting Raffy outta here I think. I know the next competition is endurance and that's apperantly Raffy's strong suit. So frick. But I know where everything stands for once. I know who is working with who I THINK. So I just need to survive next round and gain the numbers.

Gian

My revenge is coming for being left out of this vote. Idk when and how I'll do it but I will do whatever it takes.

DeNara

Thank goodness I survived this vote! All thanks to Anastasia! I need a brain break, I am so tired now lol

Raffy

An hour before tribal council, Elle decided that she would give me the immunity necklace. The reasoning she told me is that we need a strong 4 votes to cause a tie. Anastasia told DeNara that she would be flipping on Madi and Gian by voting Rachel (which is what that side thought we were doing). Because of this, I wanted to use my SWP since they would have a 4-3 majority. However, Elle believed that we could not trust Anastasia until after tribal. Anastasia could be lying and wanting me to play the SWP (which Madi and Gian happily spread around) so the newbies would have 4-3. Despite this, I wanted to be safe because I was starting to worry that Madi would play her idol on herself. The compromise would be that Elle would give me the immunity necklace which did occur. Finally, the alliance's acting paid off as Madi misplayed the idol which caused her to get voted out. Now, the Faes alliance is the majority alliance. Wig.

I have new worries going into this round. Anastasia really wants to do big moves, so she should want to vote me out now that Madi is gone. My other worry is that Anastasia is much more loyal and is a solid ally for DeNara, not me. This means, if DeNara was so inclined, she could get the numbers to vote me out. DeNara is going to get a lot of power the further we get. It's very interesting to see what the breakdown is. Due to this, I have decided to keep my door open with Gian. Steven agreed that we could potentially work with Gian to hide behind him as a shield. Also, this is kind of an emotional thing because I really do feel close to Gian. I do not know what kind of move I'd do to keep Gian this round. If he wins immunity, then it would be great and I would not have to do any maneuvering. However, in all scenarios except one, I am betraying my allies which is not a good look for me. My idea is to finally get Rachel out this round, so it would keep Gian in the game while keeping my allies good with me.

Raffy

I got on call with Gian earlier today to express a desire to work with him to target Anastasia or DeNara. I was doing a lot of talking during the call which had me worry as he seemed to just be taking in this information without providing any back. This had me skeptical on whether or not he wanted to work with me. My skepticism was correct. According to DeNara, Gian told Anastasia that I want to target her for being a wildcard this round. He used the information I gave him against me. However, thanks to my very good relationship with DeNara, I am now in the know that he does not want to work with me. Bye Gian. Say hi to Madi in jury for me. I might just use my SWP just to be sure. Plus, it forces Anastasia to target Gian instead of me for this round.

Raffy

The current plan is for DeNara to tell Anastasia that she is willing to flip after a bit of reluctance. In actuality, we are just trying to make them think that Gian is the vote. At tribal, we will all vote for Rachel instead in case there is an idol. I am VERY nervous for this tribal. I do not want to be here. According to DeNara, Elle would be the person the newbies vote for if I leave which is perfectly fine with me. I need to survive. I have to get to F6. There's really no guarantee that this plan even works in the first place. And does DeNara even trust me after hearing all that information from Gian's rat mouth? UGH. The paranoia is way too high for my liking.

DeNara

Honestly this game is so tiring, why do I torture myself with this stress? Oh because I love Survivor that's why. Lol. Soooooo Anastasia wants to flip on Raffy, Steven and Elle and take Raffy out of the game because he is a threat. Which means I am in the middle....AGAIN. It is Raffy, Elle, and Steven vs. Gian, Rachel and Anastasia. I want to stay with Raffy, Elle and Steven and take out Rachel this vote and then flip and take Raffy out next vote so I can keep the numbers but I am super super super nervous of Raffy. I caught Raffy in a lie today. I talked to Gian and he said he was on call with Steven and Raffy earlier and that Raffy was throwing my name out because I have a good relationship with Elle, Rachel and Anastasia (which I do). I called Steven and he admitted that the 3 of them did talk, but he said that Raffy was saying Rachel the whole time, not me. BUT when I went on call with Raffy, Steven and Elle I told Raffy that Gian said he went on call with him and he started to make an excuse saying he was at school all day and that wasn't true. THEN Steven said to Raffy that he already told me they were on call so Raffy had to back track..... All the newbies are saying to Raffy that they are voting for me.... so I am scared Raffy is working with the newbies to get me out since I have become such a threat.

Steven says it wouldn't make any sense for Raffy to flip and get me out now, but if they all think I have become a bigger threat than Raffy, he could very well flip and take me out. I really really hope Raffy is being honest about wanting to vote Rachel out or I am super hecked tomorrow. Here is to hoping I am in the game after the next tribal!!!!!!!

After a very insightful conversation with the VL, I've decided to grab the game by the balls and attempt to get out the kingpin of the game (again) or at least weaken him by taking out one of his minions. I'm being super careful this time about everything. Saying the right things to the right people can cause panic and paranoia and victimizing myself from the last vote--I'm using that to my advantage. Let's hope this pays off. If not, at least I'm leaving with a big swing!

My morning of paranoia continues. I don't think Raffy will flip because it would be a stupid move rn, but I do think I need to be careful. This will likely be the last time I can truly play the middle like I have been.

I feel so bad about lying to Anastasia because she did save me, but this is what is best for my game. I also feel bad for Rachel because we have gotten close and I dont want to vote her out. Really I want Gian out next but I have to stick with my alliance.

I love the misconceptions of this game. Even if i'm on the outside. That was an excellent play by the returnees. I am so sad to see Madi go! She was with Gian and I since day 1. I can never repay her for using her idol for me. I am just shocked Anastasia flipped too, but I understand her reasoning (even though i thought we we're a solid 4). Hopefully we can make a big move this round and if not, we'll go out trying! I just hope Gian and I are truly not at the bottom. I wish we got Raffy out sooner, but only cause he is such a great player-socially and strategically.

So I got Denara on board with teaming with the newbies and together we will all take down Raffys trio hopefully. We will most likely target Elle instead of Raffy so we can take out one of his minions. I think the safest option would be to vote Steven because I think nobody would expect that but Gian insists Elle. I think Elle has an idol. Lets just hope she feels safe. ALSO IM SO GLAD IM SAFE but now im just worried for my future because I obviously need numbers to move on.

The plan seems to be going well. DeNara has successfully infiltrated the newbie group and is leaking their shit. According to her, the newbies are scared that I have an idol and want to target Elle instead. I would love to push this narrative, but I don't know how. If I can get them to target Elle over me, then this would be great. However, I do believe now that they do not have an idol based on all that DeNara has spilled on their paranoia. It should be a successful 4-3 with Rachel getting the boot. Then, I am guaranteed F5 in this game.

guilt tripping everybody that voted out sammy bc that was such a weird move and shows how weak everyone really is. idk it made 0 difference to me, i honestly could care less about this round. if i get immunity, mikey is playing the idol on himself if he gets immunity im getting the idol so it really does not matter

Woo the plan worked and Sammy is gone! He seemed sad because he said he wanted to stick with me but his actions didn't really align with that. My goal is still to get Jennet and Jones out. I feel bad because Jennet is now in a position where they’ve been targeted every round of merge and a lot of that is for little to no reason. I don't really know why Lovelis tried to vote for them, or why their name came up when Daisy left, and the round Sam went home I only said their name to try and protect Lindsay. And last round their name was a decoy.... but still! They have been through a lot and I feel bad. But unfortunately because of this, they are definitely winning if they make the end. They haven’t betrayed a lot of the jury, they now have this great underdog story if they make it, and their whole game is about loyalty and honesty and all that stuff betrayed jurors jut love to vote for. Which I will say.......... it's easy to be loyal and honest when you don't align or overly strategize with half the team. It also leaves you super vulnerable to being a target sooooo I feel bad but I also feel like that's the reality of blocking yourself off to so many people. Since Sam is sadly gone, my new ideal final 5 is Lindsay, Shane, Mikey, and Jake. That will get awkward because I feel like it'll fall into 2 vs 2 and they'll all expect me to stick with them. That would be the downside to my strategy of "align with everyone and make everyone feel like you're their option" buuuut I think I'm saved by the fact that asides Jennet, I feel I can beat everyone left at the end. I don't think it's a guarantee; I'll definitely have to do a good FTC. But Shane and Lindsay have really bad social games -- Shane fights with everyone and betrays close allies for no reason and Lindsay apparently doesn't even talk to half the people left. Yesterday, Jake and Mikey both said they thought Shane would win at the end because "he's made so many moves!!!" which is ummmm not very feminist because I think everyone credits him with doing a lot more in the Daisy vote than he actually did. I feel very much like the Natalie White of this season because my relationships are really what is holding everything together. I just have to be careful that people don't see me as keeping Shane around when he's an obvious threat because that could definitely damage my chances of winning. However.... there is something that could upset that f5 and that is if this round, Jones/Mikey/Jake/Jennet all want to vote out Shane or Lindsay (again). I'm not actually that opposed to this happening because it would be very useful for me to have a close ally on jury to tell them what I did. It would also mean I don't really have to "decide" who to pick at f5 but I would still be relatively protected. However I also worry that if Jennet gets through even one more round, Mikey, Jones, and maybe even Jake will just refuse to vote them out like they did before. Mikey admitted to me he knows Jennet will win at the end but if he feels like he has no shot, he might just keep them around because they're close and that is not a great sign for me! I guess we'll see what happens with immunity. Also go me for being the last person left with no votes against them :~)

me yesterday: If Lindsay or Shane got 7th, I wouldn't be sad! me now: ummmmmmmmm no stop being silly Anyways we are all voting Jennet as of right now. I told Mikey that we were splitting votes on him and Jennet potentially (so that I could get Mikey to vote Jennet, meaning Shane or Lindsay could throw 1 vote on Mikey in the event of an idol) but then Mikey went and told everyone I said that??? Which was a weird move, I don't know if he was hoping it would blow up on me but I just admitted to everyone what my strategy was. Now it seems like they just don't trust Mikey. Which is useful for next round, if I can make it there. I also told Shane and Jake that Mikey asked me if they were threats and I'd said yes. I told Shane and Jake this so that in the event Mikey went to them, they'd already have a heads up and wouldn't be suspicious (because Mikey leaks almost everything and I felt like that would definitely happen). I also accidentally implied to Jake that Shane was targeting him?? Not really sure how that happened but there was this weird temporary blowup where Jake went to Mikey and Shane and said he heard they were saying his name. Obviously I was NOT excited for this because I was worried it would come back against me instantly so I tried to smooth things over with Shane and Jake + told Mikey it's not cute to leak info! I'm hoping that the three of them are pointing their daggers at each other and haven't turned on me but it was definitely scary for a minute. I also told Mikey Shane originally wanted Jake to go when Daisy left AND that I thought Shane/Lindsay would vote Jake out next. I can explain both of these away pretty easily to Jake (1. That vote was a long time ago and he only wanted to do it because Jake was saying Lindsay and 2. I was just saying they'd vote him out next to make Mikey comfortable) but he isn't online to give me the chance to do it and I don't want to bombard him with messages. But here's where I am 2 hours before we vote...... I'm ultra paranoid Jennet has an idol. And she knows she's going tonight. Everyone was like "don't tell her she's leaving!" and I was like???? She knows?? I'm not wasting her time pretending like I'm not considering voting for her. So now....... should me, Shane, Lindsay just vote out Mikey (or Jake?) instead? I'm hesitant to bring this plan up to anyone for a few reasons: - None of these people can keep a damn secret!! - If we flip and Mikey does vote Jennet (and there's no idol), it will be 3-3-1. Really not liking that - I don't thiiiiink Jennet would idol me out if they were to idol anyone. I'm afraid to bet on this too heavily but I really, reaaaaally hope because I'm being honest with them this round, they would see me as someone who would maybe work with them at f6/f5 (as opposed to Jake, who has lied to them and Jones who flipped last round, and Lindsay who she says she wants out). The reason I'd want to switch the plan is because if Jennet has an idol, they are absolutely playing it tonight. If they don’t have it, they don’t have it, but that means Jake or Mikey could. So like.... why not do a fake out and have a higher chance of getting the merge idol out of here? Plus if Jennet doesn't play it tonight, we can vote them tomorrow with much more ease. I'm worried people are too aware that I'm really moving things behind the scenes and are going to come for me this round. Here's where I'm hoping my strategy of be everyone's BFF / an option for everyone will help me out -- Lindsay is a bigger threat than me and has done a lot less of that work so in the event Jake and Jones DO decide to turn.....
