CRITICAL THINKING A
Week 1: What is Critical Thinking?
My understanding of critical thinking before class was really vague, as I did not think that critical thinking was as important in my daily life. I think because in our generation we don't think as deeply into critical thinking, which are skills that actually makes our lives easier.
But after the class, I totally understand the importance of critical thinking skills on problem solving, analysing, creative thinking, interpretation, evaluation, and reasoning. That we solely need as human beings to have in our daily lives because of how it helps us be more aware of the problems we face in this world.
Tumblr media
What I have learnt about mindfulness in the class previously is that mindfulness is something that has always been a concept that has always been talked about but sadly not everyone has especially if you are in an environment where there are alot of different people, personalities and characters.
Tumblr media
So how i might intergrate this into my learning environment is that i would kindly be a light to everyone and display good morals and character as a person in the classroom so that my classmates may be inspired to be the best version of theirselves and slowly get better character wise.
It is a challenge not only one must face but a community will face.
Tumblr media
An eventful moment i have experienced in class is when I was really quiet and unsure. As it was my first day in class but suddenly the teacher made me feel comfortable as he interacted with each individual in class and made everyone share a little more about themselves which made me really happy as I got the opportunity to learn more about my classmates even though i was shy at first which made me really thankful for the teacher bringing us together as a class.

Sorting out my studio space . Feels like I’ve more room now thank goodness. Getting organised is key I think to making good progress. If you know where stuff is then your filing system saves so much wasted time searching around for the right tool or materials. Here are some sketches which I add to each week .Variety is the spice of life they say. Use different drawing and painting media and materials, techniques and colour combinations. Ring the changes in sketchbooks - nothing is wasted, just try anything and everything to express yourself creatively, indoors and outdoors too. #expressiveartstherapy #artist #artofinstagram #artwork #artoftheday #sketchbook #mixedmedia #studioday #artmaterial #lynnegreenstreet #tidyyourspace #creative #artexploration #creativethinking #tidyup #artmaterials (at Marsh Lane, Derbyshire) https://www.instagram.com/p/CgxLs2BLPo4/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

“Samkhya, one of the six classical Indian darshanas, or “ways to see”, is an attempt to explain the nature of all existence by dividing it into Purusha-pure consciousness or that which is unchanging, and Prakriti-non-consciousness or the original or natural form or condition of anything. It tells us that the separation of these two states is the cause of our suffering and that the path to liberation is through repression, withdrawal of our senses, and control of our body in order to reconnect with our true Self. Samkhya calls this re-union the state of yoga.” -excerpt from Yoga Body, Buddha Mind by Cyndi Lee ✨Comment your thoughts on this philosophy and if it is relevant in your own life.✨ 🎨 This profound visionary art was created by my lovely friend, @ilaroseart, called “Inner Infinitum” and is currently on display at the @threyda gallery in Denver. #spirituality #selfmastery #yogaideals #yogasutra #patanjali #darsana #yogalineage #hindu #buddhism #sankhya #spiritualtalk #sacredart #visionaryart #consciousart #creativethinking #yoga #higherself #creativeyogi https://www.instagram.com/p/CemvLNfOpG3/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Benefits of Machine Learning for Kids
Tumblr media
Introducing machine learning to children opens up a world of possibilities and benefits for their cognitive development and future readiness. Firstly, it fosters critical thinking and problem-solving skills as children engage in tasks like data analysis and model optimization. This hands-on approach encourages experimentation and creativity, allowing children to explore solutions to real-world problems in innovative ways. Machine learning cultivates a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts, such as statistics and probability, as children learn to interpret and manipulate data sets. Additionally, it promotes interdisciplinary learning by integrating concepts from various fields like computer science, mathematics, and even psychology. Machine learning empowers children to become savvy consumers and creators of technology, equipping them with the skills to understand and navigate the increasingly data-driven world around them. By fostering curiosity and a growth mindset, machine learning encourages lifelong learning and adaptability, essential traits in today's fast-paced digital landscape. Introducing machine learning for kids not only prepares them for future careers in technology but also instills a sense of confidence and empowerment as they harness the potential of artificial intelligence to shape a better world.
