A very belated gift to @glass-noodle for being a very nice person who pointed me towards DBH comics and art (fuel to my current obsession). Your Merman AU gave me some inspiration.

It's been ages since I've done anything digitally, from sketch to finish. Got a brand new tablet last Christmas (2022), which I didn't use. Got Clip Paint which, also, hasn't been touched. It's my first digital drawing since approximately 3-4 years. Last posted thing is... 2016. Yeah.

It's been a rough year, but I hope that 2024 will be better for everyone!

Most of the main cast seems to have a body that is some sort of ironic punishment for the actions that got them sent to the island. Aside from Maria, who is a total unknown since she's barely popped up at all in what you've show, the big exception is Jen, who despite being one of the characters we know the most about, has a body that doesn't seem to have anything to do with her past. Why is that? Is there something I'm missing or has it just not been revealed at this point? (My best guess is that since she came to the island of her own free will she got to pick out a body for herself rather than just being shoved into whatever body Krampus thought would be good for a laugh)

Oh, sweet summer child, there is an attribute to her body that DOES reflect her past actions. The answers has been hiding in plain sight.

Now that the Absent Moon stream has happened, I can share this thing I've been holding onto since August :>c

This is from a draft of a scene from the speculative fan libretto I was working on (and will get a little bit of tweaking now mwahaha) and uses OLD concepts I had for Pongo under the helmet.

I'll do wholesome facts first:

~ Sun will visit shelters to spend time with the cats. He will even help out with adoption events to make sure they go to loving homes.

~Sun and Moon will babysit for parents who need someone to watch their kids. Those are hilarious and interesting adventures on their own.

~Sun's cheeks are buttons. When pressed at the same time, his rays spin.

~There is an annual fair that happens in town. Sun and Moon help fund it and provide entertainment for kids, reliving some of their daycare days. They will act as clowns.

~I've mentioned this before, but the boys will often help around with charity work, acting as good Samaritans.

~Sun owns lots of sweaters, some he owns multiple pairs of because they're his favorites.

~Moon still has his music box. He will play music to calm and comfort an upset child.

Disturbing facts under the cut:

~Sun has an extremely morbid curiosity, and will often act on those thoughts. He sometimes gets carried away and needs Moon to pull him out of it, otherwise he will...indulge.

~Sun and Moon will sometimes make games out of their torture sessions with Rulebreakers. Games sometimes lead to sibling banter, and often express their frustration on the Rulebreaker.

~Sun has once stabbed a Rulebreaker with one of his own rays. Repeatedly.

~Both Sun and Moon have broken, torn and bitten off fingers of Rulebreakers. Their bite force is strong enough to do so.

~Sun and Moon's mouths can open. Nobody knows, except for Rulebreakers.

~Moon has a great many knives at his disposal and will use them for various uses. Flaying, slicing, stabbing, etc.

~Sun and Moon have practiced body anatomy on cadavers, learning where to cause damage without immediately killing their targets. Example, they know where the main arteries are, so when they slice or stab, the target doesn't immediately bleed to death.
