Dream trip: If I can only say one, and we’re dreaming big, I’d love to go to Indonesia. Just in general, a lot of my different travel desires could be fulfilled by going to different places in Indonesia. The rock islands of Raja Ampat have fascinated me for years, and so have the volcanoes in East Java. I’ve been a big ocean-and-rainforest enthusiast in general since I was a kid, and my recent reptile fascination makes me really want to visit that temple by the ocean in Bali with the banded sea kraits that live around it. If I were brave, I’d want to see Komodo dragons in the wild, too, but that might be a nope for me

Anything I want right now: A pet snake. I held one once and am addicted to the feeling. They’re like weird scaly legless cats.

the russian Shashka. in the dragon raja universe, its the sword he was using through the story, and in the strays his sword is modeled after one, but i ended up altering his way of using it after his eye was ripped out. he also uses guns but a sword is so important to his silhouette that i CANT remove it.

this ones difficult BUT

laumė - theyre represented by pretty women with long hair and are sometimes used as a synonym for a witch. laumės lived in the sky and were of almost god like status, in some stories, a laumė was married to the supreme deity. they can be benevolent or antagonistic, tricking people, sometimes stealing kids and switching them out for their own. when a kid gets lost - they protect it, when a kid is left behind - they rip it to shreds.

Land, sea, or sky? Of the realms of the world, which one does the character belong to?

the sky. he isn't locked away like Misha or Rashid, nor would he brute force his way into freedom like Sem or Victor, but he is free-er than any of them. like the sky, he cant relate to them, not fully. he's a kid, they're teens or young adults at least. just like Violette, he overlooks it all. neither of them can say that they understand Sem or Rashid, nor can they read Victor's or Misha's intentions, and even then, Violette is bright enough to see her differences, while Lucian seeks connection with them in all ways he can.

What real life animal would they be represented by?

a little hedgehog. he has spikes on the outside and can be harsh or mean but he means the best and wouldn't actually hurt you if you tried to hold him or interact as long as you respected him.

I had a really good reading month, both in terms of quantity and quality. I actually ended up doing 30 in 30. Sometimes a switch just flips in my brain that lets me read faster than usual, but it also helps that about half of these were under 200 pages.

Samuel Albert Pratama Mulyono tampil demikian istimewa dengan baju defile lion di selasar ruangan gedung serbaguna Fakultas Psikologi Kampus Surabaya (Ubaya) tempo hari (22/12). Lelaki 20 tahun itu memeragakan baju perancangannya dengan demikian cantik.

Ya, baju itu seakan ingin memperlihatkan keperkasaan dari raja rimba, singa. Sisi palign mencolok ialah mahkota singa dengan tinggi 4 mtr.. Bahkan juga, berat baju yang dikenai capai 50 kg.

Salah satunya moment yang terkenal di Indonesia. Tahun ini JFC mengangkat topik Virtual Fantasy dengan tampilkan 9 defile. Yaitu, lion, komodo, flamingo, sea dragon, dragonfly, elephut deant, unicorn, dove, dan honey bee.

"Saya mendapatkan penghargaan best performnce kelompok senior dalam JFC 2021. Penghargaan ini disaksikan dari performnce dalam peragaan baju dan design bajunya," katanya.

Samuel menjelaskan, gagasan awalnya design baju itu di inspirasi dari watak singa. Dalam perancangannya, ditonjolkan figur raja singa yang berani dan berkuasa sebagai pimpinan.

"Baju saya mempunyai keunikan yang kuat pada design dan aksesories yang dipakai," terang mahasiswa semester III Program Kekhususan Design Mode dan Product Lifestyle Fakultas Industri Inovatif (FIK) Ubaya itu.

Dalam atraksi itu, Samuel demikian totalitas menyiapkan perancangannya. Bukan hanya mempersiapkan design, ia menjahit dan membuat sendiri bajunya. Diperlukan waktu dua minggu untuk dapat menuntaskan bajunya.

"Bahan intinya dari akin taffeta dan beludru yang menguasai cokelat. Saya tambah fake fur di sejumlah sisi untuk memberi dialek surai singa," katanya sekalian memperlihatkan bagian-bagian dari design bajunya.

Yang paling mencolok ialah hiasan kepala yang unik. Memiliki bentuk mahkota yang dibuat dari besi. Pad abagian atas mahkota ada patung singa dengan bahan matras. Dengan demikian, baju dari defile lion kreasinya demikian kuat.

"berat hiasan kepalanya saja dapat capai 4 kg," ucapnya.

Samuel menerangkan, bajunya mempunyai jubah dengan design bersayap. Maksudnya, memberi kesan-kesan pimpinan yang berkuasa. Disamping itu ada aksesories lain seperti kedok singa yang dipakai saat peragaan baju.

"Dapat disebut, baju yang saya bikin dan performnce peragaan bajunya memperoleh nilai terbaik," kata mahasiswa asal Jember itu.

Samuel akui tertarik ikuti JFC semenjak kecil. Awalnya, ia cuma dapat melihat perlihatkan karnaval itu di dekat rumah. Tetapi, semakin lama kemauan untuk berperan serta dalma atraksi JFC makin membuncah.

"Saya telah turut serta dalam pembikinan baju di gelaran JFC semenjak SMA kelas 3," katanya.

Dari situlah, Samuel berkemauan menjadi pendesain terkenal. Ia ingin ikuti tapak jejak Dynand Fariz yang go-international dengan kreasinya yang selalu mengangkat daya tarik Nusantara. kostum dance
