Currently reading situation? I've finished this one: it is a smart lecture of many themes involved in the narrator's life. It is an essay, but it is so fluent that you can mix it with the autobiographical genre. It deals with psychology, with the relationships with parents, with friends, with institutions, with life itself. It is deeply recommended: I don't know if it is translated in English but if you understand Italian just pick it up. And who guess the title of that "opened book"? Lo conoscete tutti: "L'Amica Geniale" è un caso editoriale, talmente bello e talmente ben scritto che è recentemente apparsa sugli schermi anche una serie tv. Che io non ho ancora visto per evitare di spoilerarmi non solo la parte del primo libro che mi manca, ma anche gli altri tre. Che altro dire, è una scrittura magnetica: ora vado a proseguire la lettura. 😎 I generally don't recommend books that I have not completed, but I wanted to make an exception for this small big masterpiece. You probably all know it: "The Brilliant Friend" is an editorial case, so beautiful and so well written that it has recently appeared a TV series on screens.
