Sunset picnic
Pairing: Steve Rogers x Reader, hinted Bucky Barnes x Natasha Romanoff
Warnings: literally just fluff, a curse word or two but mainly fluff
Word count: 4009
Summary: You and Steve spend an afternoon together, cooking, hugging, watching the sunset with a picnic laid out.
Tags: @et-lesailes if you get sick of me literally just let me know😂💕
A/N: I kind of just wanted to write something fluffy and cute but it turned enormously fluffy. This took me two weeks to finish and I have no idea why. The food, I picked from some of the things I love, plus Cevans has Italian roots, hence the pasta. I’m also a big car lover, so Steve’s car had to be a classic. Soo emjoy <3
Also I’m starting a Steve Rogers tag list, so if you want to be added, sent me an ask <3
***My work is to not be posted or translated on any other site (AO3, Wattpad, Fanfic, ect.) without my permission!!!***
the header for the story is made by me!💫

You were unwrapping your hands free from the boxing tape, taking deep breaths to bring your breathing to normal after the intense sparing match you just had with Natasha.
She wasn't any better, sitting in front of you, drinking from her water bottle, one hand on her hip.
She drank half of it in one go while you were unwrapping your left hand, then closed the bottle and looked at you.
"Steve and the boys back yet?" She asked getting to unwrap her own hands free.
"Should be back later today, late afternoon I think, something like that" you said finishing up, moving your neck a bit.
"Why, you missing Barnes already?" You asked chuckling at her, reaching for the hoodie you had discharged earlier.
"There's nothing going on between me and Bucky, Y/N" the two of you got into step, walking out of the gym, passing by recruits on your way to the elevator.
"Yeah, see I don't believe that."
"Well I never asked you to" she answered, pressing the bottom for the elevator.
"Oh come on Nat. You are basically flirting every chance you get." You laughed getting in. You pressed the bottom for the living quarters.
"Voice activation required" F.R.I.D.A.Y.'s voice echoed around the closed space.
"I swear to God, I'm going to kill Tony one of these days" you quipped, explaining, being overly done with the billionaire.
"Mrs. Capsicle" you said, another exhale leaving you.
"Well, yeah get in line" Nat joked. "Double Agent Natalie" she looked at you, lifting a brow up. Both of you bursted out laughing after that.
"Access granted. I genuinely am sorry for Mr. Stark's child behavior" if only Tony was as polite as the AI's he made, the Avengers would have a field day.
"Don't worry about it FRIDAY, so are we" Nat said, wiping a light tear from the corner of her eye.
"Okay, back to the conversation at hand." You said clapping your hands together.
"Drop it"
"Seriously thought, Bucky is honestly one of the nicest people ever plus he is on your level and you have been getting more than a little acquainted lately, give this a shot" you chatted, the singing sound of the elevator notifying you that you've reached the floor you, Steve, Natasha and Bucky were occupying.
"Hey, drop it, nothing's gonna happen" she said
"Oh come on, you like him, he likes you, go the fuck out" you whined.
It wasn't actually your business, but they were two of your best friends, was it that bad that you wanted them happy?
You reached a hallway, one separating the directions you were headed in.
"I can't hear you" she said, walking in the opposite direction, doing her hardest to get you out of her hair.
"Give it a shot Double Agent Natalie" you said, chuckling
"You are next on my list after Stark" she yelled back at you, making you chuckle again.
"You love me" you headed down the hallway towards the living quarters you shared with Steve.
You and Steve had been dating for around seven months, and had decided to share a living space around two months back.
It had taken so long for the two of you to get together, you thought your feelings were giving headaches left and right to the other occupants of the compound, or so Bucky had told you.
You had danced around your feelings for the good part of a year, that everyone had had enough, and a plan had been formed to set you two up.
While you thought you were having dinner out with Wanda and Natasha, Steve had been set up on a blind date by Sam and Bucky themselves. Going into the restaurant, and finding yourselves in each other’s company had been strange and awkward at first, but things had blossomed up really fast and the night had ended with a walk in downtown Manhattan hand in hand, a kiss goodnight on the cheek and a promise for a real date where you weren't set up by your friends.
Things had escalated from there, and now almost a year later, you were in a happy relationship with Steve Rogers.
Being in a relationship with Steve was a heartwarming experience. He was an affectionate partner, gentle and caring. He wanted to spend as much time with you as possible when you weren't on missions, but not that much for it to feel suffocating. He was supportive of your choices, understanding in different situations. He loved doing things for you, and you did too.
Between missions out and training, the lives you were leading weren't the easiest ones, so you were both always sticking to small things that much more showed your affection, rather than how big you could go, and you didn't need to compete with Tony Stark on that front.
Your personal favorites were the times where Steve would get you a small bouquet of your favorite flowers, stock the freezer with your favorite ice cream or get your favorite dessert. You could also honestly say that you loved the little notes you found around your leaving space left from him. You had a whole bunch of them stacked in a box in the bedside table drawer.
The most recent one was a little note you found three days ago, the morning Steve, Sam and Bucky had left for a little mission down in Ecuador.
It was a sweet red sticky note, left on the coffee maker.
"You were snoring a bit last night, but I still love you. See you Wednesday afternoon twinkles"
The note had read with a couple of stars around it, a little kiss lips doodle in the corner.
God, and the pet name, it had you melting. You weren't much for the common ones, so you had your own spiced up pet names that Sam claimed were making him gag.
But dating a Super Soldier, and an Avengers leader was also kind of a hard, good thing was you were both equally trying to make it work, and it was, which was all the more proof that you and Steve were good for each other.
As you neared the door to your apartment space, you were able to hear the faint sounds of jazz. The oh so familiar words of Walkin' my baby back home by Annette Hanshaw, or in other words one of Steve's favorite songs from his time, were softly sounding from inside.
You smiled at that, he had gotten home a bit earlier than you expected, so that meant you were going to have a bit of time for yourselves.
When you neared the door, you pressed your thumb to the scanner, and waited for the door to unlock.
You honestly didn't know why Tony had put scanners on the living quarters doors, but you appreciated them at times.
When the door clicked, you opened it and stepped into the space. The music was a bit louder now, and you could also hear Steve's faint voice singing along. From your place at the door you saw Steve in the kitchen, chopping what looked like veggies.
When you closed the door, his attention snapped to you, a big smile making its' way on his face.
"Hey you" he said putting the knife down, toweling his hands on a towel nearly.
"Hey yourself. You are back early." you said, leaving the hoodie on a chair in the living room, making your way to the kitchen. Steve rounded the island and met you halfway, his hands finding their way to your hips.
"We finished early." He said, bending down, pressing his lips to yours. It felt good to be near him again, even after just a few days.
The kiss was gentle, passionate, full of how much he had missed you these past few days. It was slow at first, but soon after your lips started moving just a tad more urgently. When Steve nipped your lower lip, you couldn't hold back the little moan that came out of the back of your throat. Steve used the opportunity to deepen the kiss, passing his tongue into your month, swallowing down your moan.
One of his hands rested on your hip, giving it a squeeze, and his other was spread out on the back of your head, strands of your hair between his fingers. Yours in turn were positioned around his middle, holding him close to you.
The long kiss was a welcomed moment even though you were sweaty from the training session, and Steve as it seemed was trying to cook something.
Soon you parted, foreheads pressing against one another for a few seconds while your breathing got back to normal.
Steve pulled back to look at you, a smile on his face.
"I missed you" he smiled, squeezing your hip again, kissing your nose.
"Me too. What do you have there?" You asked, gusting to the veggies on the kitchen counter and the water boiling on the stove.
"You'll see." He said giving you one last peck on the lips before pulling away from you and going back around.
"Now, go shower because you stink, and put something nice and comfortable on afterwards. We are going out." he told you, smiling your way before he started chopping the veggies again.
"What a gentleman you are Rogers, what a gentleman." you chuckled, but still started making your way over to the bedroom. You could hear Steve's little laugh on the way, and soon after it was followed by the tender words of yet another classic, Summertime by Ella Fitzgerald.
Small surprises were always something you and Steve did for one another, and right now you were really curious as to where you might be going later.
You sure needed some time for yourselves, away from the Compound, so a little going out and spending some time with Steve was something you were sure you would enjoy.
Around an hour later, you emerged from the bedroom dressed in black jeans, with a navy blue camisole, white sneakers and nude pink cardigan in hand.
When you went back to the kitchen in search for Steve, you found him on the stove with an apron on.
He had changed while you were taking a shower. The sweats and t-shirt from earlier were traded for dark blue jeans and a dark red henley.
There were a couple of ingredients spread out on one side of the island, along with a bowl, whisk and two cute little mason jars. On the other side sat a basket, two bottles, one of a favorite wine of yours and the other with what could only be homemade lemonade.
You left the cardigan on one of the bar stools, moving around the counter and sneaking your arms around Steve's middle, resting your cheek between his shoulder blades.
"I thought you said we were going out. What's with all the food?" You ask, running your hands up and down his chest and abdomen.
"We are. We are having homemade dinner outside" he told you while stirring a pasta sauce in the pan.
"Like a picnic?"
"Yeah a picnic outside at sunset" he took one of your hands, bringing it to his lips and laying a kiss on your knuckles.
"Steve, you just got back from a mission," you started, wanting to protest. You wanted to tell him that you could just stay in, snuggle up on the couch, watch a movie, he could have even skipped up on cooking, you would have been perfectly happy with ordering something.
Your protest though, died as soon as they began when he put the spoon down and turned around, putting his hands around you, placing a kiss on your forehead.
"I know, but I want to. I want us to spend a couple of hours away from here, just you and me, nice wine, homemade dinner, the spring sunset. How does that sound?" He asked, getting close to you, prepping your face with kisses. One on the nose, each cheek, on the eyes, forehead and finally a couple of quick pecks on the lips.
You were giggling, trying to get away from him, pushing on his chest a bit. When your giggles died out, you looked into his eyes and smiled.
"It sounds incredible" you answered, kissing him on the cheek.
"I'm going to finish the pasta, and then how about we make the dessert together?" He squeezed your waist, letting you go afterwards. You just nodded, going on the other side of the counter.
After Steve finished the pasta, he took hold of your hand, took a second apron from somewhere and tied it around your waist.
You were trapped between him and the counter, with his chest against your back.
"You look so cute" he whispered, kissing the back of your head.
"You know this is only slowing us down, right?" You asked while Steve was mixing the crushed cookies and the butter.
"Yeah, but I get to do it with you, so I'm not about to complain." he chuckled, pinching you in the ribs, making you laugh and swap at his thigh.
"You are a dork." you laughed, pulling another bowl from across the counter.
Steve sat the mix of cookies and butter aside, then opened the heavy cream and poured it in the bowl you just pulled.
"Yeah, but you still love me" he kissed you again, then took the whisk and passed it onto you. You chuckled and accepted it.
Just as you were about to start whisking the heavy cream, Steve placed his hand on top of yours, and started doing all the work. You wanted to melt into him, and just sit there and make the dessert the whole day.
There was something so domestic about the whole thing. You were Avengers and having moments such as this one was really rare. You were doing your best to separate your avenging lives from the lives you led with each other, so those moments where you could just be with each other, vulnerable, open and loving were your absolute favorite.
Steve longed for that, the domesticity outside of being a national symbol, and being able to share it with you in whatever capacity that was. It made him feel like Steve Rogers, and Steve Rogers only, and he loved it.
When the heavy cream was thick enough, he added a packet of cream cheese, some vanilla and some powder sugar and with shared effort you started whisking them together.
When the cream was fully ready you sat that aside too, while Steve sat a pot on the stove and put a full assortment of berries in. A couple of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries with a bit of sugar, lemon juice and a bit of cornstarch were set to heat on the stove, while you started filling the little mason jars with the cookie and butter mix.
Just as you were about to put the cream part in the jars, Steve came with the pot of warm and thickened berries.
He sat it aside to cool, and out of the blue, took a bit of the cream mixture and smeared it on your cheek.
"Stevee" you whined but laughed nonetheless. He was being such a child today, but you couldn't even complain. He pressed you against the counter again, circling his arms around you. You wanted to push him off, take the cream off and finish the dessert, but he had other plans.
"Hold still, let me get a taste." he whispered in your ear, then ran the tip of his tongue where the cream was on your cheek, then lightly sucked on it with his lips.
A spark went through your spine at his words and actions and for a moment you wanted to forget all about the dinner, the dessert, the picnic and being outside by yourselves in favor of retreating to your bedroom and spending the rest of the day under the sheets, covered in sweat and prepping kisses all over each other.
"Delicious" he whispered again, making you move around in his arms, trying to wiggle back, but just as fast as he had covered your cheek in cream, he let go of you and stepped back. You almost whined at the loss of contact.
"I swear to God Rogers..." you started but he cut you off by turning you and kissing the words out of your mouth.
It was a hungry kiss, like he too wanted to spend the rest of the day in bed, hearing you whine and protest, sigh and moan, let him touch you, love you.
You kissed until you could hardly breath, then he ended it.
"Later" he said lowly, pecking your lips once more before pulling you to him again, and just like minutes ago, having his front against your back.
"If I didn't know you well enough, I'd say you have some kind of fetish about having my back pressed against your front" you joked, taking a spoon, and starting to fill the jars with the heavy cream and cream cheese mixture.
He laughed, the sound from his chest vibrating against you.
"Maybe I do, and you'd never know" he said, squeezing your hips.
When the jars were filled with the white mixture, Steve took the pot and placed a couple of spoons from the berries mixture on top, even feeding you some in the process.
It was so nice, you rarely got to cook together. Tony had cooks most of the time, or you ordered in, so even making dessert together was incredibly good.
When the dessert was ready, you closed the jars and rinsed all the dishes before stacking them in the dishwasher.
Steve packed the basket, setting the food and wine in, adding silverware, plates and glasses.
You pulled the apron off, setting in on the counter, then pulling your cardigan on. Steve pulled on a jacket, took the basket in one hand and your hand in his other and exited your living quarters. You took the elevator down to the garage.
When you got there, you walked by the all the cars there, until you reached Steve’s at the end. The 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS 350 painted in navy blue had been a gift for his birthday last year from you and the team. You knew Steve loved his bikes, but you couldn't count on the Harley every time you wanted to go on a date, so at the end you all settled for getting him a car.
Tony had found the perfect car, and you all had liked it. You and Natasha had picked the color and after that the car had been fully restored and ready exactly for Steve's birthday.
He had been ecstatic. He loved the car, he loved the gesture, he genuinely appreciated the thought and the time you put into his gift.
Steve put the basket in the truck and came to even open your door. When you settled in, he circled around and got in himself.
Soon after you drove away from the compound.
-----------
You were driving, the faint sounds of Steve's favorite songs playing in the car. It was a long but pleasant drive, most of which spent with Steve's hand resting atop your thigh.
Around an hour into the drive, you were able to point where you were. You were driving around in Brooklyn, Steve's old borough.
After fifteen more minutes, Steve pulled up to the parking lot of what you couldn't even mistake, a park.
There was a sigh up front that read "Prospect Park". Steve got the basket from the truck, followed by a blanket and two pillows.
"You have to be kidding me. Steve!" You said, already giggling and laughing at what a cute boyfriend he was.
"What? I want us to be comfortable." He said and you just shook your head at him, taking the pillows from his arms. He locked the car, and took your hand leading you through the park.
You walked for a while, trying to find a bit more secluded space to settle. Soon enough though, you found the perfect place.
A few trees closing the area just a bit, with an overly beautiful view of the lake that faced west, right where the sun was going to set.
You were at a loss of words. It looked so beautiful and peaceful, you get to spend an afternoon right here, overlooking the lake, while enjoying the company of your incredible boyfriend, with homemade dinner and wine and to top it all off, you get to watch the sun set behind the horizon.
You rarely got to have that much freedom to spend the time like this, so seeing Steve doing this for you almost made you tear up.
"Steve...this is, all of this....I-" you stared, your voice almost cracking. You looked up at him, tilting your head just a bit to look at him better.
"You don't have to say anything, I wanted to." He said, putting the basket down.
Soon the blanket was laid out, the two pillows set on one side with the basket on the other, you and Steve sitting in the middle.
He unpacked, opening the bottle of wine and pouring you both a glass, before getting the food out. An assortment of cheese and vegetables with dips was put in front of you, with a few salty muffins, curtsey of none other but Sarah Rogers, the recipe for which Steve had found through an old cookbook of hers.
The pasta was pulled out too, soon after and you enjoyed dinner, while talking back and forth, laughing and smiling at one another. It was nice and sweet, it felt, like all that mattered right now were you and Steve, and that made it all the better. Sharing his beautiful moment with the person you loved.
You were feeding each other dessert when the sun started slowly going down. You were so engaged in each-other, you were almost going to miss it.
The cheesecake was left unfinished in favor of laying back, your head on Steve's chest with an arm draped over his stomach. One of his was wrapped around your waist, with the other settled on your thigh.
You were relishing in the quiet while gazing at the sun setting when Steve's quiet voice broke the silence.
"I love you, thank you for being with me, supporting me and loving me. You've been there to fill that loneliness I've been feeling for as long as I can remember. Thank you for seeing me as everything else but Captain America, as everything else but a man born out of war." He told you, leaning just a bit back to look at you.
"You sound like you are about to propose" you giggled, reaching to lay your hand on his cheek. Your eyes stunk a bit at his admission, but you were trying your best to keep everything at bay.
"I'm not, not now, but maybe in the near future"
"You are something else Steve, you are something else, but I love you nonetheless. Thank you, for giving me a place to call home, for being a part of my life in such capacity, for being my home" you told him. He closed what little space was left between you, placing his lips on yours and gently but surely kissing you breathless. You felt a single little tear slip down your cheek and smiled into the kiss, because this? You could never get used to how attentive and gentle Steve was, you couldn't. He was everything you could wish for in your significant other.
You spend a couple more hours relishing in being with each other, watching the sun fully set and the starts lighting the sky.
You felt like the world could end at any moment, and you'd still be happy, because you got to spend your last moments with the person you love and cherish the most.

Kagaminette/Marigami One-Shot, Takes place after Ikari Gozen
~~~
Marinette fixed the pillows on her bed, gazing around her room, now spotless from the scraps of fabric and sketches she’d had strewn about earlier. Her head turned at the ring of her phone, a text. Her breath caught and she felt her heart stutter as she scrambled to her phone. Eagerly opening the new message, a grin growing at seeing Kagami’s name at the top. Her face flushed pink at the text, like most interactions with Kagami over text the tone was serious and to the point,
“Finished training. Mother said she’ll let me sleepover. Thank you for inviting me. I can’t wait.”
           What really made Marinette’s heart melt was the emoji’s that followed, a smiley face and peace sign hand. Marinette had put a lot of effort to help Kagami grow comfortable being more casual with her, getting the other girl to use emoji’s was quite an improvement over the last few months. She quickly typed out a reply to Kagami, expressing how she was excited too along with her own set of emjoi’s. She set her phone down and sighed, flopping onto her chaise dramatically,
           “She’s actually coming tonight.” She said dreamily. It had taken a lot of work to get Kagami’s mother, Tomoe, to warm up to her. But she had approved of the girl’s friendship and allowed them to hang out regularly. Marinette actually got to sleepover at Kagami’s a few times already but having Kagami over to her house was a whole new hurdle for convincing.
Tikki flew out from where she’d been grabbing a macaroon on Marinette’s desk,
           “Oh wow, I can’t believe her mom’s letting her.” she said with a smile before taking a small bite of the macaroon.
           “I don’t know how she convinced her mom but yeah.” She said, biting her lip eagerly, making Tikki giggle
           “Good luck stumbling over yourself all night.” She teased, eating the last bit of her treat before flying up and nuzzling Marinette’s cheek. “You fall apart in front of her as badly as you do in front of Adrien.” She said with another giggle. Marinette rolled her eyes and blushed as she leaned into Tikki’s affection.
           “I-I can’t help it.” She muttered softly, she looked to the side shyly. Ever since Marinette had began spending more time with Kagami she couldn’t deny how her feelings had grown. She cared for Kagami as a friend, but their time together had allowed Marinette to see a side of Kagami she couldn’t help but fall for. When alone, Kagami’s usually stoic expression had shifted to subtly expressive and passionate. Not the stubborn, competitive passion she had with fencing. Instead it was passion for the latest book she was reading, or curiosity about Marinette’s designs and expressing herself creatively. The Kagami Marinette had slowly fallen for was who Kagami became when they were alone, unafraid of meeting her mother’s stern expectations. “She’s just… so sweet, she really cares and is always happy to try anything. She’s never afraid of anything and she’s so pretty.” Marinette gushed with a grin. Tikki giggled again and playfully flew around the other’s head,
           “You’ve really fallen for her, Marinette.” She said with a smile, tilting her head. Tikki loved seeing Marinette so happy, “You should tell her. She might feel the same.” She urged. Tikki had watched the two girls interact and had her own assumptions on how Kagami felt. Marinette’s eyes widened in horror, shaking her head dramatically and pushing Tikki away in a panicked wave of her arms,
           “Wh-what no!” she said in horror, “I can’t tell her! What if-“ before she could finish her sentence the doorbell rang making her heart race more, “Th-that’s probably her. You better hide Tikki.” She said, her face a soft pink as Tikki nodded and flew off to a hiding spot.
           Marinette hurried down to answer the door, but her mom had answered it before she could. Sabine was greeting Kagami as Marinette came down the stairs.  The polite smile on Kagami’s face grew as she looked up at Marinette and they locked eyes, throwing off any coordination Marinette had hoped to have in her feet. She tripped and stumbled down the last few steps. Falling over herself wasn’t unfamiliar to her, so Marinette was quick to stand with a blush,
           “Be careful Marinette.” Her mother said in serious concern as Kagami’s brow raised and her smile grew more. She’d grown to find Marinette’s clumsiness only slightly bothersome and more of a cute quirk.
           “I’ll make certain she gets upstairs without any new bruises Ms. Cheng. Thank you for having me over.” Kagami said in a kind voice, and a nod. “Hi Marinette.” She added looking back at her friend as she made her way to the stairs.
           “H-Hi Kagami.” She said nervously, trying to calm herself as she grinned, “Here, uhm. Let me bake your tags. Ah. No - take your bags.” She said, holding out a hand to take Kagami’s overnight bag for her. A soft chuckle fell from Kagami as she stepped closer, swinging the small bag behind her back,
           “I think you should focus on where your feet fall. I can handle my bag Marinette.” She teased, making Marinette’s heart stutter at the sight of the other’s playful smirk. She nodded jerkily and turned on her heel to lead Kagami up to her room. Now trying to pay careful attention to make sure she didn’t stumble again. Kagami followed behind her, using her free hand to press gently on the others back, wanting to make sure she really didn’t fall again.
           The sensation of Kagami’s hand on her lower back had Marinette’s face pink, and she swallowed a nervous lump in her throat.
           “H-how did you convince your mother to let you sleep over?” she asked softly, looking over her shoulder to glance at Kagami as she opened the door to their living room. Kagami walked into the room behind her with a shrug,
           “I pointed out that my test scores and training has improved since becoming friends with you. If you’re a good influence I have reason to spend more time with you. She’s making me practice extra next weekend, but it’s worth it.” She said with a smile as they continued up to Marinette’s room. Her friendship with Marinette had been one she hadn’t expected, but greatly appreciated. She had never known someone so kind and full of love. Marinette seemed to have a soft spot for everyone in her life, even those she didn’t particularly like. Her kindness was what had allowed their friendship to blossom and Kagami couldn’t help but admire how the other wore her heart on her sleeve.
           Kagami knew better than to lie to herself. She had slowly grown to have feelings for Marinette over the months of their friendship. The other’s devotion to her art and friends, her awkward stumbling, and her warmth to let Kagami open up in a way she couldn’t at home or school had led to butterflies in Kagami’s stomach.
           “Is that true? Have you been improving since we started hanging out?” Marinette asked curiously, letting Kagami up into her room. The thought that she could be such a positive influence in the other made her heart swell.
           “If it wasn’t, I wouldn’t be here. You know my mother. She’s all about the numbers and seeing actual improvement.” Kagami said as she looked around the vaguely familiar room, they’d spent little time hanging out together here – most of their time was at her house or public spaces. She made her way to the chaise and set her bag down beside it. “Enough about my mother and school though. Where’s that game you were wanting to have me play?” she asked with a smile and raised brow.
           Marinette felt like she was as light as a feather, hearing Kagami confirm their friendship had noticeable good impact on her – a fact that might lead to more sleepovers – made her stomach do flips and breath catch. She was shaken out of her eager thoughts at Kagami’s question,
           “Oh. Yeah! Ultimate Mecha Strike III.” She said with a grin, grabbing the game off her desk and holding it up. “It’s super fun. I’ll warn you I’m  really good at it. I even won a competition for my school.” She said proudly, this was probably one of the few things she knew she could beat Kagami at – she hoped. She did have doubts. Kagami was good at everything she did.
           Kagami laughed softly at Marinette’s bragging, sliding her white blazer off and laying it on the chaise. With a tilt of her head and raised brow, a smirk growing on her face as she loosened her tie and tossed it on top of the coat.
           “You should know by now Marinette. I don’t lose.” She said, a competitive tone in her voice. She rolled the sleeves up on her black button up. The mixture of Kagami’s smug look on her face, and her outfit adjusted to be more comfortable had Marinette weak in the knee’s. She nodded eagerly, slapping the game down onto her desk as she flopped back down onto her desk chair.
           “You’re so perfect- ah I think you’re perfect. No - You think you’re perfect. I mean you’re great! But uhm... I’ll be… better. At this game.” Marinette stuttered, her face growing red at her word vomit. Kagami laughed softly, brushing her hair out of her face as she made her way to sit in the other desk chair beside Marinette.
           “How are you going to beat me if you can’t even trash talk me Marinette?” she teased. Kagami had noticed how Marinette stumbled over herself in front of her. The soft blush that constantly covered her face the more they spent time together. She had only seen Marinette get this way before with one person, and it made her stomach do flips to think that she effected Marinette the same way Adrien did. Marinette stumbled to turn the game on, grabbing the controllers and holding one out to Kagami. In return Kagami made sure to let her fingers brush over Marinette’s hand as she grabbed the game controller.
           Marinette held back the urge to melt into a puddle or scream at the gentle touch of Kagami’s hand. She nodded shakily, and turned to stare at the screen,
           “I don’t need to talk to beat you.” She sassed back, unable to look back at Kagami in fear of word vomiting again and making a fool of herself. She started the game and took a few minutes to explain the basic controls and goals of it to Kagami. Kagami’s eyes bounced back and forth between the screen and Marinette’s face. A small smile grew on her face as she listened and watched Marinette, her pigtails bouncing as she turned her head to look at Kagami once she finished explaining the basics. A soft blush covered both girls faces as they locked eyes, “Uhm… D-does that make sense?” Marinette asked softly. Kagami nodded gently, turning back to the screen,
           “Yeah. Let’s play.” She said, hitting the start button.
           It didn’t take long for Kagami to get frustrated at the videogame. She was surprisingly good for a new player. Her skill impressed Marinette and was just further evidence to her that Kagami was amazing. But still, despite Kagami’s natural skill, it was nothing compared to Marinette’s years of playing with her father. Round after round Marinette mopped the floor with Kagami in the game. Kagami’s face was a soft red in frustration. She was not used to losing, and it rubbed her the wrong way when she did. Marinette raised a brow in concern when she looked over to see how upset Kagami was getting. Hitting the pause button on her controller put the game they’d been playing on hold,
           “No. What are you doing? Why’d you pause it?” she asked, her brows furrowing as she turned to Marinette. The sight of the other’s concern made her slightly embarrassed at how upset she was. “I-Im sorry. I got.. uhm too invested-“
           “Don’t be sorry.” Marinette interrupted her with a soft smile, the last thing she wanted was Kagami to think she couldn’t express her feelings to her, “It’s alright to be upset. But it’s just a game.” She said with a shrug, “Besides, you’re really good for a beginner.” She complimented, setting her hand on Kagami’s knee and giving her a light squeeze to reassure her. “And we both know you’re great at so many other things, like fencing.” She added with a smile.
           Kagami’s blush grew, no longer from frustration but now because of Marinette’s kind words. She smiled and brushed her hair behind her ear,
           “You’re right. I’d destroy you at fencing.” She teased Marinette, a small chuckle falling from her. Marinette raised a brow with a mock offended scoff,
           “I wouldn’t say you’d destroy me…” she argued as she crossed her arms over her chest. Kagami chuckled softly, and in one swift movement she turned in her chair setting her controller down on the desk as and grabbing a flexible ruler by Marinette’s craft materials. In the same fluid twist of the chair that let her change objects in hand, she was able to finish the 360-rotation facing Marinette, ruler in hand and pressing it up under Marinette’s chin with a smirk. Marinette’s face flushed pink at the ruler pressing against her chin, making her tilt her head back slightly, the confident smirk and glint in Kagami’s eyes had her speechless,
           “Let’s find out?” she challenged. All Marinette could do to communicate was nod gently, feeling the ruler press against her chin with the movement. Kagami lowered the ruler and grinned, standing and moving to stand in the open floor of Marinette’s room. She knew realistically the rulers were much too short to even consider whatever this was fencing, but she didn’t care. She just wanted to have fun with Marinette, make her laugh and impress her. Marinette found her own ruler, trying desperately to break herself out of the daze she’d been put in by Kagami.
Marinette stood a few paces away from Kagami, taking the stance she’d learned from Adrien, ruler in hand. This moment felt vaguely familiar, the thumping in her chest, her sweaty hands and face pink with nervousness the anxiousness to impress her crush standing in front of her but also being hyper aware of her body, not wanting to stumble or trip.
“En-garde.” Kagami said, and the two girls greeted each other with the rulers. Smiles and blushes covering both their faces, “Pret. Allez.” And with that they were off. Kagami was more confident in her movement, lunging for Marinette and expecting an easy win. She was shocked to find Marinette shifting and parrying her, nonetheless it still wasn’t difficult for Kagami to tap Marinette in the chest with the ruler after making her parry a few more lunges. The two laughed softly as they both returned to their starting positions. Once again, Kagami was first to move. Marinette doing well in defensive maneuver, her downfall was when she attempted to get a hit in after parrying Kagami. With a swift move of her hand Kagami was able to parry Marinette and tap her chest again. Kagami’s grin had Marinette’s stomach doing flips, “Don’t hesitate Marinette. Trust your instincts.” She instructed sweetly, a tone of voice that wasn’t heard often from Kagami but made Marinette into mush more than she already was.
The two returned to their starting positions and began again. Kagami waited a moment, wanting to give Marinette a chance to initiate, but after a few seconds she knew the girl wouldn’t. So, she lunged again, Marinette was thrown off more with this round than she had been the others. Kagami’s soft tone making her head dizzy, the words ringing a distant memory for her. Marinette found herself avoiding and parrying Kagami just barely, and in her daze as she stepped back to avoid Kagami she tripped over her own feet. Her hand reaching out instinctively to prevent herself from falling back, but only managing to grab Kagami’s shirt. Effectively bringing both girls down.
They fell back onto Marinette’s floor with a thud, Kagami on top of Marinette, both blushing furiously at their new position. Marinette attempted to stutter out an apology, only to be interrupted by Kagami’s laughter as she rolled off Marinette.
“I’ve not had that much fun fencing in a long time.” She said between laughter, tears of joy welling in her eyes. She wiped them away and giggled softly and Marinette couldn’t help but laugh with her. The sight of Kagami laid back on her floor, hair a short halo around her and her shirt wrinkled, the edges untucked from her skirt and hearing her laughter ring in the air. It was all too much for Marinette, her tongue was tied, and stomach was full of butterflies. As Kagami stood up and held out a hand to help Marinette up she felt déjà vu again. As she took Kagami’s hand and stood slowly she realized why Kagami’s earlier words and this moment were familiar, “The only reason you can't stay on your feet is your hesitation. I never hesitate.” The voice echoed in Marinette’s mind, Kagami’s words.
A wave of bravery she only ever felt as ladybug filled Marinette, determination and pure adrenaline filling her as she stood. Tightening her hold on Kagami’s hand once she was up. Marinette pulled Kagami closer to her, not wanting to lose this moment of bravery she felt in herself and doing as Kagami had told her to – following her instincts. Her free hand laying gently on Kagami’s chest as she leaned into the other girl and kissed her. Both Kagami and Marinette’s faces grew pink as they kissed. The meeting of their lips only lasting less than a second before they broke apart. Marinette’s hands flew to cover her pink face in embarrassment,
“Ah! I-I’m sorry.. I-I didn’t want to kiss you! No. I did. I mean to. I didn’t. I-“ Once again Marinette’s flustered words were cut off my Kagami’s giggles. Kagami gently pried Marinette’s hands from her face, the sweet smile on Kagami’s face making Marinette’s panic pause for a moment,
“Don’t be sorry.” She mumbled, “I told you to stop hesitating. And you did.” She said, breathlessly – part of Kagami was still in shock that Marinette had kissed her. Her heart was racing, and her legs felt like they were static, she’d never kissed anyone before. “Even I was hesitating with… that.” she admitted softly. Her eyes darting away shyly, Marinette’s face went from embarrassment to shy concern and then to shock at Kagami’s words,
“Like. That. That? You… like me?” she asked, looking like a deer in headlights, her eyes wide as she tried to process the information. At the blush that darkened on Kagami’s face Marinette got her answer, giving her the confidence to lean in and kiss Kagami’s cheek. Taking the other girls hands Marinette led Kagami over to her chaise and sat beside her. Unable to help herself as she grinned like a fool, “Because, I’ve had the biggest crush on you for a while now.” She admitted with a soft giggle. Kagami giggled softly, her blush only darkening more as she brushed her hair behind her face,
“How could I not have a crush on the prettiest, nicest girl I’ve ever met.” She said softly, she slid her hand over the chair to lay on top of Marinette’s. She wasn’t used to admitting her feelings like this. Hearing Marinette’s own confession had made it easier for Kagami to open up.
Both girl’s hearts were racing as they giggled together, telling one another about how their crushes had grown and slowly shifting so they were cuddling together on the chaise. Hands caressing each other’s or playing with the other’s hair as they spoke. A few shy kisses being shared between stories told. The two stayed up late into the night laughing at themselves, a light airy feeling in their hearts as they gushed over one another until a serious look washed over Kagami’s face. Marinette looked up at Kagami as she felt her hands still in her hair that she’d been raking through, hair ties that once held her hair into twin pigtails dropped to the floor.
“Will you be my girlfriend?” Kagami asked Marinette softly, locking eyes with her. Marinette grinned and leaned up to kiss Kagami,
“Of course.” She said with a giggle, her lips brushing against Kagami’s before she kissed her again.
Brad came down after his bath and sat next to me on the sofa.
"Can I ask something?" He asked.
"Sure, what is it?" I turned to face him.
"Oh god how do I asked this?"
"Ask what?"
"Do you happen to have a fan account about me?" He scratched the back of his neck.
"What?" I laughed nervously. "Of course not, why would I?"
He then grabbed my phone from beside me, unlocked it and pulled up the Instagram app with my fan account about him on it. Shit!
"What's this then?" He asked.
"Er, I don't know what that is, sorry!" I blurted out nervously.
"I think you do, explain!"
I stared blankly at him.
"Go on then! Fucking explain!" He said sternly.
"Okay, I know it's wried!" I began.
"Wried? Wried doesn't even begin to explain it!"
"Would you just let me explain?"
"Go on then!"
"Like I said I know it's wried and possibly a little bit creepy, but I only made that account to see what your fans thought about us being together and to talk to them on a more personal level!"
"Since when have you given a shit about what other people think about us being together? And you could just talk to them on your own account!"
"I don't, but I just get curious ya know? And I know I can but it's a lot harder talking to them all when you're getting a notification every minute to five minutes from them!"
"Um yeah okay!" He then started scrolling through the messages. "Oh my god Y/N are you actually being fucking serious?"
"What?" I asked.
"You literally call me Daddy along with them, what the fuck?"
"Oh c'mon, you do have a bit of a Daddy kink!"
He ignored me and continued to scroll through the messages. "Oh god no! This one is even fucking worse!" He spat.
"What one?" I asked.
"They said "he's probably a big boy!" And then you replied with "you didn't hear this from me, but you get a pretty good view of it when you have barrier at tour and yeah I'm not saying anything else!" Winky face emjoi and random letters! What the fuck, delete this shit right now! This is so bad, why are you talking about me like this?"
I laughed at his reaction.
"Y/N it's not fucking funny, it's kinda scary when they talk about me like that!"
"Brad chill!"
"You want me to chill when you talk to my fans about my dick? It's embarrassing babe!"
"I know, I'm sorry. I know I shouldn't be talking about you like that to them but it just makes me laugh when they claim to know certain stuff about you, I think that's why I talk to them like that!"
"Well please don't, I'd rather you not give away our sexual antics or how "big" you think I am to them, thank you!"
"Alright big Daddy!" I laughed.
He got the pillow next to him and threw it at me.
"Ow!" I whined.
"You can say that to me, just not to them alright?" He spat.
"Okay that's fine, I'll just be like "awww, Bradley bear is so cute and squishy I wanna squish his cheeks so bad!" To them instead then?"
"No! Just talk to them about me in a normal manor from now on please!"
"Brad I can't help it if a fan pops up into my DMs being like what we just discussed or what we're discussing now! I think you'd rather prefer me to talk about you like the second option rather than the first one to them!"
"True, but still!" He then continued to scrolled through the messages I had sent to fans. "As if you just straight up ask what they think of us!"
"Gotta keep the conversation going somehow!"
"Wow, you proper put yourself down don't you?"
I looked over at my phone to see he was on a message where I said "he seems happy with her, but then again she seems kinda annoying!"
"Well it's true, I am annoying!" I admitted.
He took my hand in his. "Baby you're not annoying, if anything I'm the annoying one!"
"You're not annoying B!"
"Neither are you!"
I looked away.
"Baby, you're not annoying! Stop putting yourself down okay?" He cupped my cheek.
"Okay, I'm sorry. I'll just delete the whole account if you want me too?"
He ignored me and clicked on my requested DM's.
"Wow, people really think you're me?" He laughed.
"Yeah, sometimes I feel like DM'ing them back with a picture of myself like "nope, I'm not Brad but I'm his girlfriend though!" Or a picture of you that's unseen like "yup, hi it's Brad!"
"Shall we?"
"Brad you do release if we do that, then somebody is bound to leak that it's us and then we'll get tons more DM requests and followers and it'll be harder for me to answer them!"
"Good point, let's just keep the account to ourselves for now, but no more of the sexual or Bradley Bear talk alright?"
"Alright!"
"Can I run the account with you?"
"If you'd like? Just don't get stroppy when they're sexual or talk about you like you're five!"
"I'll try not to!"
He then spent the rest of the evening talking to fans on the fan account.
the dolan twins preference #3: first kiss
ethan: “hey ethan, wanna go get some ice cream?”, you texted with smiley face emjoi. “yeah. im up for that, i’ll be there in a few”, he texted back with the winky face. you were super exicted for today, so you hurried up and got dressed in a cute black crop top, putting a cute flannel over it, then a pair of skinnies, and white (Or black) converse. you brushed your hair and put only natural makeup on.
you quickly run to the front door, making sure you don’t fall tho. you see ethan get out of the car, before he could knock on the door, you opened it with a big smile on your face. “hey e”, you said bringing him in a hug. “hey”, he hugged back smiling at you.
*skip to the ice cream part lol*
you and ethan were in the middle of eating your ice cream, until he stuck his ice cream in your face. “hey!”, you yelled playful. ethan started to laugh at you. “oh you think this is funny?”, you asked getting closer to him. “..yeah”, he said still laughing. “ok..then”, you smirked getting an idea. he turned his head the other way for one second, and when he turned back, you pressed your lips against his getting ice cream on his lips.
you smirked again, then pulled away. his smiled softly at you. “what..?”, you ask blushing as bright as a tomato. he just smiled at you again going in for another kiss.
***** grayson: you were at grays and e’s place, watching tv and eating junk food with grayson, ethan was at his friends place right now, so it was just you and gray.
you were currently watching phineas and ferb (a\n: i used to love that show.) and just talking to grayson about basic teenage stuff, until you got to thinking. ‘why hasn’t he kissed me yet? i mean we’ve been together for a month..maybe he doesn’t like me anymore..’. but then you were also thinking that he probably did'nt because he was shy or something.
“i love spending time with you..”, he said smiling at you. “me too”, you smiled back but looking down sad. “whats wrong y\n?”. “nothing”, you say putting a fake smile on. “just tell me please..” “no its too embarssing..”.
“find i guess i’ll just have to tickle you then…” NO! grayson! anything but that". “tickle, tickle,”. “gray- gr-grayson, okkk i’ll t-tell you..”. “yes!”. “um.. well we’ve been together for a month now, and you’ve never kiss me..im starting to feel like im just a waste of time..”, you looked down at the floor the whole time blushing. then, you look back up at gray, then look back down again.
“y\n, look at me”. you look up at him again. “im sorry i made you feel like that, im kinda shy when it comes to stuff like that. and trust me you’re NOT a waste of time, i really like you ok”, he said holding your hand while looking in your eyes. “ok”, you smiled sweetly at him.
“sooo..what now?”, he asks you. “kiss me you big ‘ole goof!”, you yell excitedly, grabbing him smiling into the kiss. ~~~~~~~ so! that pretty much wraps it up. lol. so im sorry if this crap its 1 am in the morning and im so freaking tired rn i really thought i did better this time tho. it was s'cute!
also i hope this wasn’t too boring. and i hope it wasn’t too long either, - love, holly xxx
