WIP Wednesday: No knot
Omega Anakin giving ""Alpha"" Obi-Wan a blowjob. Some things come to light...
Anakin makes the mistake of glancing down, where the tip of Obi-Wan’s cock, pink and wet, is peeking out from his grip. It leaks over his fingers, and Anakin feels his mouth water.
He shifts down the bed, holding Obi-Wan’s hips down and licking up the precum without a second thought. He seals his lips around the head and sucks, bobbing his head up and down lazily.
It’s the first time he’s gotten the chance to really take his time with Obi-Wan’s cock, and he intends to take full advantage.
He lets drool slide down the shaft, slicking the way so Anakin can jerk off what he can’t fit in his mouth. It’ll take some practice before he’s able to take it all, given how long it’s been since he sucked anyone off.
Not that his husband seems to mind, twining his fingers into Anakin’s hair and letting out low gasps whenever he does something unexpected.
Anakin pulls off to mouth at Obi-Wan’s balls, sucking at them lightly and letting himself enjoy the way Obi-Wan’s scent is so thick here that it makes Anakin dizzy.
Eventually, he kisses his way back up the length of Obi-Wan’s cock, swallowing it down again. The weight of it is pleasantly filling, and the roof of Anakin’s mouth is sensitive where the head keeps rubbing against it.
It’s getting harder and harder to ignore the way his own cock is straining against his pants, or the way his hole clenches around nothing, leaking into his underwear. He aches to straddle Obi-Wan’s hips, to climb on top of him and finally, finally sink down onto his cock.
He’d go slow at first, teasing his alpha until he was begging and desperate. And then he’d ride Obi-Wan relentlessly, fucking himself hard and fast until Obi-Wan’s knot started swelling, until it jerked against Anakin’s rim with each push in and out. Until it caught, filling Anakin with the brief sensation of too much before he whited out from the pleasure, locked tight and pumped full of cum—
“Anakin!” Obi-Wan cries out, jerking in his gasp.
And then his mouth is flooded with the bitter taste of cum, quick enough—and unexpected enough—to make Anakin choke.
He pulls off, sputtering and coughing, and the sight of Obi-Wan’s cock throws him for a loop.
There’s no knot.
Anakin’s fingers are still wrapped around the base, and he squeezes his fingers, trying to confirm by touch what his eyes are telling him.
Distantly, he registers the cum splashing across his face, the spend he didn’t swallow dripping from his lips.
Obi-Wan is stiting up, is wiping at his face and apologizing, but—
But his mind is still caught on Obi-Wan’s cock. On the fact that there is no swell at all, no knot expanding under his touch.
He jerks away, feeling a lance of hurt. "You kept this from me?"

Feeling Emperor Cody right now. Clone rebellion a few years after order 66 maybe but before natborn imperial army is really operational, they wage war on Palpatine and win, mostly, but..... it’s not as simple as restoring the republic, with plenty of pushback against the clones and imperials having a stranglehold on so many things still. and possibly Cody is a bit like well fuck the republic anyway. I don’t imagine the regime would last, but I want him to be Emperor for, idk, maybe a year. Maybe five.
Not sure when Obi Wan comes into this. Not at the beginning, I think, Cody and co either thinking him dead or not knowing where he is, but at some point news will reach him on Tatooine and he has to get involved. I’m imagining possibly people like Bail are asking him to negotiate between team republic restoration and team clone coup. ...you’d think it might be simple, especially if it’s codywan, but I want some conflict there lol. I like to think Obi Wan is popular with his men. But at this point that does not mean he’s in control here.

What if Emperor Kenobi hadn't been mad with power, heartbreak and anger? What if an arrangement could have been made between between him and Obi-Wan regarding the fate of one Anakin Skywalker? Not everything needed to end in tears.
This is a 'What If Scenario' based on 'he who can never be thought to be the same'. It's not necessary to have read it, but it might help with some details.
Thank you @tideswept for helping me beta this what if and @amadwinter for helping me with the title 💕
It's also part of @palfriendpatine66’s More To Love ao3 Collection. All works are amazing, so check them out if you can! 🩷

yeah ok but a gladiator au where no one is Russell Crowe and Anakin is a gladiator who has been in the arena for years — he’s good. He has lost, obviously and especially when he was first thrown out there, but he’s good, especially as he grows and learns and trains. He’s one of the few gladiators that capture the public’s eye and the emperor’s attention as the perfect representation of The Strength of Rome.
He’s still a slave, he still hates these people, and especially Emperor Palpatine and the senators, but he knows enough to know to play nice, and there is some part of him—trained into him or naturally a part of his soul—who relishes in the violence, the winning, the moments Palpatine will turn his thumb up to the heavens and tell him to kill his opponent.
Meanwhile, Obi-Wan is a senator who despises the gladiator tradition, but cannot say no to the emperor’s invitation to join him in his seats for Anakin’s next fight. That would be unwise.
It would also be unwise to let his eyes linger on the young gladiator’s form. To ask after him once the fight is over. To attend a party he knows Skywalker will be made to attend, to talk with him in shadows and in secret, to allow his eyes to linger. To find the young man so captivating, so beautiful, so fierce, so strangely both untouchable and touchable. To give the man a reason to fight that isn’t just to win.

concept: AU where when Obi-Wan begs Yoda “send me to fight the Emperor; I will not kill Anakin,” Yoda agrees.
because he doesn’t suspect Padmé of having an affair with Yoda, Anakin/Vader doesn’t attack Padmé when Yoda emerges from her ship on Mustafar. her horror at his atrocities still enrages him, but he doesn’t kill her.
Anakin defeats Yoda, who barely escapes with his life. Padmé starts going into labor — starts dying — and Anakin finds he can’t save her.
he watches her die, helpless. he then returns to Coruscant with her body and two motherless infants —
to find Obi-Wan dead at Palpatine’s feet.
he knows now that Palpatine lied when he promised the Dark Side would allow Anakin to save Padmé’s life. he knows (because Yoda told him as they fought) that Obi-Wan died at Palpatine’s hand only because he couldn’t bear to kill Anakin. he looks at his new Master and sees a liar, a betrayer, the architect of Anakin’s grief; the one to blame — because Anakin refuses to blame himself — for the deaths of the two people Anakin loved most.
Anakin kills the Emperor.

Idea: Anakin as Kuzco from the Emperor’s New Groove who wants to blow up Tatooine to make space for his cosmic podracing race track. Anakintopia!!
Palpatine and Jar Jar are Yzma and Kronk. Palpy is the Grand Vizier to Emperor Anakin and Jar Jar is his home-world representative Naboo assistant :)
Obi-Wan and Padme are Pacha and Chicha. Luke and Leia are their kids Tipo and Chaca. They’re both ambassadors of Tatooine to the Empire Senate (this is an Emperor’s New Groove AU, don’t say silly things like, “that’s not canon!”)
and since Padme’s pregnant with their third kid, Obi-Wan had to try to justify his planet’s continued existence by himself when he thought he was just summoned in regards to his request to discuss water import tax tariffs or subsidizing bantha dairy farms or whatever.
But it all goes wrong. Obi-Wan gets mad at the spoiled young emperor after he reveals he plans to destroy the “revolting sand pit”, but he only departs Coruscant after a talking llama, formerly known as Emperor Anakin, unknowingly and accidentally stows away on his ship back to Tatooine.
But with Jar and Jar and Palpy in hot pursuit hoping to finish their failed assassination attempt, Obi-Wan and llama!Anakin hit an unexpected number of increasingly ridiculous detours on the way home :)
If someone wants this to be more Star Wars-y, Anakin could be turned into a droid and not a llama. …which is actually a pretty funny idea because he’d be something like if R2D2 and C-3PO had a baby.

WIP Wednesday Thursday
(Sorry guys, I forgot how calendars work 😂)
Obi-Wan claims his own diva, painted a deep green with yellow and orange accents.
He places a cotton wick in the center, filling the lamp carefully with oil. He has to hold the wick down with a finger to make sure it soaks properly, huffing with irritation when he realises there must be some trick to doing it without getting your fingers wet.
Maybe I'll figure it out next year, he thinks-- and the idea fills him with a jolt of unexpected longing.
He wants to be here next year, wants to stay in this little lineup of Anakin's family, knowing he's loved and-- and accepted.
Shmi turns to him then, her own diva already lit, face creased in a broad smile.
She speaks, words heavy with meaning: "From mother to child, I pass my knowledge on to you."
Obi-Wan searches her expression and finds-- to his astonishment-- complete sincerity. As far as he can tell, she means it.
He is… her child. Her son-in-law, perhaps, but a son nonetheless.
Obi-Wan has not been a son to anyone since he was thirteen.

I am weirdly invested in this au and I want to ask what about the rebellion? Do they still have the same goal as canon? How do the rest of the jedi fare? What about luke and leia? I'm assuming obi-wan doesn't know vader is anakin at that period of time so are you going to do some reveal? Oh also what is the empire's like from citizens perspective? Sorry I ask a lot I just like this so much I need to know more detail!!!
*cracks fingers* Okay, so that is quite alot of asks, but lemme try and break them down:
The Rebellion still has the same goals as in-canon; restore the Republic, overthrow Imperial rule. That said, they are having a far harder time of things. For one, the destruction of the first Death Star never occurs, because Vader cut the funding for the superweapon on Thrawn's insistence- which, in turn, severely hampers the Rebellion's overall unity as a faction, since they no longer have that 'great victory' to build them up into a stronger and more-popular faction. Additionally, Thrawn's pro-alien reforms have split the galactic population. In canon, it is mostly condensed down to a largely-humano-centric Empire against basically a largely-alien Rebellion. In 'Built To Serve', however, you are just as likely to find a Twi'lek or a Rodian Stormtrooper as you are to find a Human Stormtrooper. This, naturally, deprives the Rebellion of one of their largest recruitment 'pools from the canon timeline: the oppressed alien masses.
One other change is that Galen and Jyn Erso never sided with the Rebels; the Death Star project was scrapped, and Galen's technology was turned back towards clean renewable energy. This kept him on-side with the new Empire, and never separated him from his wife and daughter. Jyn, now living a new life as the daughter of a high-ranking imperial scientist, got the best education and connections, allowing her to rise rapidly through the ranks of the Imperial Navy. She now serves as one of Tarkin's many government officials.
The Jedi are far worse-off in this timeline. Whilst Palpatine mostly concerned himself with the Empire and left Vader to deal with any Jedi that dares to spring out of hiding, in this AU Emperor Vader leaves the broad-strokes of Imperial policy to Thrawn and Tarkin. This, in turn, leaves Vader with more time to organize and arrange the Imperial Inquisitors under the leadership of Grand Inquisitor Barriss Offee (the only person who hates the Jedi perhaps even-more than Vader himself). This newly invigorated Inquisitorius, in combination with the massive ISB propaganda effort to paint the Jedi as treasonous manipulative b*stards post-Order 66, has alienated the Jedi survivors from much of the support they might have had in-canon. Kanan Jarrus, Cal Kestis, Cere Junda and Ezra Bridger were all killed in this new timeline by the hand of Grand Inquisitor Offee, as was Darth Maul during an ill-planned assassination attempt against Emperor Vader. Ahsoka Tano remains alive as the head of the Rebel spy-network, 'Fulcrum'. Yoda, similarly, remains in hiding on Dagobah.
The exception to this blanket persecution is the planet of Ahch-To. In this new timeline, Ahch-To is used as a demilitarised 'reservation' for maybe 10% of all captured Jedi. The imprisoned Jedi are disarmed, installed with tracking chips, and released onto the planet's surface. There, they can meditate on the Force, practice their beliefs, and live out a relatively peaceful, low-tech, primitive life... on a number of conditions... The reservation of Ahch-To is led by the renowned former Jedi master Luminara Unduli, who preaches nonviolence and pacifism whilst firmly dissuading any talk of escape or insurrection; like it or not, Vader has given them all a second chance after Order 66, to live simple (albeit heavily-monitored) lives. Additionally, any newly-discovered Force-sensitive who fails examination under the Imperial Inquisitorius' exacting standards is dumped in the hands of the Ahch-To Jedi reservation.
Luka and Leia are unchanged from canon - Leia is still the outspoken daughter of Senator Organa (who, coincidentally, has been having a harder time getting supplies off-of Alderaan to the Rebels, now that the 'Death-Star-carcass-turned-Imperial-Navy-starport' is parked right over his planet), and Luke is still a farmboy on Tatooine.
Obi-Wan never had his little adventure from his 'Kenobi' series, and remains in-hiding on Tatooine. He still communed with Qui-Gon Jinn as a Force Ghost, and learnt how to become a Force Ghost himself, but he never had that final fight with Vader. Indeed, Leia herself was never kidnapped as a young girl; instead, her father Bail just told her about Obi-Wan's many adventures. As for if Obi-Wan discovered Vader is Anakin... ehhh, let's just say that Obi-Wan never made that connection. He'd still think that he killed Anakin on Mustafar, and that Vader is some other Sith Lord who stole power 'out from under Palpatine at the final minute. Or, atleast, that is his best-guess. He doesn't exactly have an abundance of intelligence on a backwater like Tatooine.
The Empire, from the prospective of an average citizen, is a marked improvement on the Old Republic. Granted, they are under intense scrutiny and subjected to a near-dizzying amount of Imperial propaganda, but they are *safe*. The Clone Wars are over, the Jedi traitors are gone or in-hiding or on the 'reservation' world of Ahch-To, and the old corruption and greed of the Republic Senate has been expunged (for the most part). The Hutt cartels are far less aggressive and daring, with crime at an all-time galactic 'low. Slavery is still a problem, especially in the Outer Rim, but worlds like Ryloth and Shili are firmly slavery-free, and firmly loyal to the Empire. Alien and otherwise nonhuman citizens are far more satisfied with the new Imperial system, finding it as a source of excellent new career paths with alot of upwards mobility. Indeed, reports and news stories on galactic equality margins are at an all-time-high, firmly outstripping the Old Republic. Basically, if you were born a Sullustan, you would have far-better chances of finding work in government under the Empire than you ever did under the Republic. The prices of much-needed items like medicine and food are also much more affordable, with some of Emperor Vader's key early policies being based around the production and distribution of these two things... partly to cement his own popularity, partly to incentivise postwar economic prosperity, and partly to urge more people to buy-in to the new Empire as a new galactic government.

A Reason for leaving
On Ao3.
Summary: Qui-Gon Jinn finds his friend, Samuel Vimes in a ran down bar and tries to reason with him.
The bar wasn’t the worst one on Coruscant. This was because the “Worst Bar On Coruscant” became a coveted title long ago and there were several hundred establishments vehemently competing for the title.
It became an artform in which the goal was to make a place as close to being a corpse filled pile of rubble with a liquor license as possible, its brushes were various assortments of blaster burns, bullet holes, sticky floors and cheap watered-down drinks, and paints were supplied by several kinds of bodily secretions of the myriad species of the galaxy.
This year’s favourite to win was the “Rakghoul's Spirit” on the lower levers which sported the dubious honour of having a member from every space faring race known to the Republic having been killed in it at least once. No, this bar was simply a small run down one around the mid-levels, a place where people go not so much to forget, but to be forgotten.
So it was a complete shock to the patrons that this day, there was a visit from not one, but three jedi.
The first one come in around the early morning, already stinking from booze. Most other establishments would have sent the man away, but a drunk jedi was enough of a new experience that the owner, a Rodian with one broken antenna and a facial scar, let it go.
The jedi was steadily sending down various kind of drinks, and based on the strength of said drinks, the owner suspected he must have used some kind of force powers to keep himself standing, or despite looking human, he was of a species that can live with a blood alcohol content around 75% without much problem. The man had the face of someone utterly lost and grounded down, but at least paid his drink so he was content to let him be.
Now that during midday another two arrived, he started to sense trouble. He glanced towards the drunken jedi near the bar and made a nod, indicating to him that the newcomers probably were searching for him.
Jedi Knight Samuel Vimes had the kind of malaise usually experienced only by small worms living in a starship’s garbage disposal. He had the mood of reactor waste. And the knowledge that someone was coming to visit him wasn’t improving it.
He turned back unsteadily on the barstool and regarded the newcomers.
One of them was Qui-Gon Jinn. The man was the most annoying know it all good for nothing jedi in the entire galaxy. His friend. And oh the force, he brought his padawan. Bollocks.
Qui-Gon himself was searching for his friend in the last three days, trying to find him in every possible bar and cantina he could find, but Vimes didn’t want to be found, and through his unique force powers, the city obliged. Qui-Gon was forced to rely on his own knowledge about the workings of the city to find a lone drunken jedi amidst millions of sentients. But he had to do it for his friend.
He wasn’t there, when the Council published its decision, he wasn’t there for the row that followed, which, according to the masters gathered there, almost became violent, before he stormed off.
But he was here now.
“Sam. Let’s go back to the temple." Said Qui-Gon as a greeting.
Vimes took a big slow breath and shook his head.
“No. I don’t think I am going to do that Qui-Gon. I dint think I am going to do that at all. “ He said raising his hardened resin cup and trying to drink from it. It was already empty. He grunted and pushed it back towards the bar owner. “Another one.”
“I think you had enough Sam." Said the jedi master, his voice even, yet quiet. Seeing the man like this was a punch to the got for him. Samuel Vimes was always the more idealistic from the both of them. The man wanted to change the Republic to the better, he fought for it, harder than anyone aside from maybe his master. And now, he seemed absolutely broken.
“Peachy. But I’ll be the judge of that.”  Mumbled Vimes, but before the bar owner could even move towards the empty cup, it flew up and landed in Qui-Gon's hand. Vimes grunted angrily and turned towards the jedi once again. “What the everdamned force you want from me Quai Gon.”
“To stop this self-destruction spiral Sam. Keels death was a tragic accident but…” Vimes' fist hit the table so hard that every other drink clinked together on the plasteel bar table.
“Accident? Accident. Keel and his padawan was massacred on a street of Coronet City…” The jedi knight could feel the anger rise inside him like bile.
Quai Gon put the cup down on an empty table and looked back at him.
“It was ruled to be an accident, they run into a gang war zone and…” Qui-Gon knew he shouldn’t have said that. That was what set him off back on the council chamber. Truth to be told, even he wasn’t sure if this was the truth. But it was the decision they came to. Unfortunately, there was nothing else to do.
This time Vimes pushed himself up from the barstool, anger burning full throttle now.
“That is a load of bantha manure and you know it! Gangs with slug weaponry, fliers and explosives?  It was the Pykes and the Hutts, they paid the locals to get rid of Keel because he was too much of a torn in their sides, and a kid no older than your padawan!”
Vimes pointed towards the smaller figure in a brown coat standing beside Qui-Gon. “Died in the crossfire. And the council aren’t going to anything because they fear poking the Hutts, because they care about the peace." Vimes felt the poison in his every word, but he couldn't hold them back. He didn't want to. "Peace, where criminals and slavers do what they want. I had enough of it, Qui-Gon. I had enough. They stone walled me and Keel for years and now they are going to pretend his death was nothing but bad luck.” Behind Vimes' eyes a kind of dangerous fire burned. A kind of fire that could force a man to make stupid decisions, provoke fights with people he didn’t want to fight with. With people he cared about.
These feelings were a gateway towards the dark side the council always said. But he didn’t care what the council thought anymore.
“I am not a kid. “Said the padawan suddenly, and received a stern look from Qui-Gon which made him look away in shame. If Qui-Gon could help it, Obi Wan wouldn’t have come near this type of establishment, but the kid snuck out after him, day after day, so he just brought him along, it was safer this way. And besides that, Obi-Wan was a padawan, old enough to leave the temple. Sooner or later, he had to see the true face of the Republic, and even the jedi. He just wished that his padawan wouldn't see his friends in this state. Vimes wasn't a bad man, nor a bad jedi, but he lost his master, and with him he lost himself too.
At the padawans words, Vimes' rage disappeared. It was blown away by a sudden gust of lethargy and cold despair. He remembered saying the same thing to his dead master more than once.
“Yes, you are. And you have a lightsabre already, and fighting beside your master, good for you kid.“ He collapsed back to his stool and rubbed his temple. “ Qui-Gon, I have come to realise we are doing things wrong. Seriously wrong in some cases. It was growing in me for a while, but this, this was the final straw. “
“Sam-,” Qui-Gon's voice was almost pleading. “I want to help.” He really wanted, Samuel Vimes was his friend, and represented in his eyes, one of the last best hopes for the Jedi order to change for the better.
“Are you a drink, or Keel's killers so I can make sure you will pay with your life behind bars?” He asked looking at him with empty eyes.
Through the Force pain and sorrow oozed out from the jedi knight. It almost made Qui-Gon to take a step back, to try to shield his padawan from his friend feelings.
“I-”
“Then piss off.” He grasped towards a cup that wasn’t there, and then sighed, turning his back towards Qui-Gon and glanced at the bartender. “Another one, don’t bother with a cup, I will take a bottle. “
Qui-Gon stared at the back of his friends for a minute. Thoughts and feelings were chasing each other inside his mind. Shame, that he couldn’t help him. Anger at the council, but at Vimes too that he would let himself sink this much. And deep profound loss. He felt trough the force, he may never see his friend again in his life.
He shook his head before he sighed.
“If that’s what you want Sam. May the force be with you.” He said in a resigned voice, as he gently led his padawan out of the pub. Vimes received his bottle, stared into the swirling amber liquid through the black, reflective bottle, seeing the face of Keel inside of it for a second, before his own appeared. He grunted, and began drinking, trying to forget how miserable it looked
