i'm not watching the tw movie because i can't do that to myself but i got a rundown of the plot and all i've got to say is:

tw:tm2:fix-it opens with a very pissed of Stiles Stillinski banging on Scott's door and punching him is his charming face as soon as he opens. He's back in town for Derek's funeral and his first order of business is to get into a massive fight about Scott's idea of morality and way of doing things "the right way" always getting the wrong people killed. The fight dies down only because there's a familiar sound coming up the drive way- Stiles' jeep. Eli's home. Violent confrontation becomes mad awkward.

Stiles say something like, seems every other asshole with a grudge can come back to life around here, so can Derek. He leaves and completely delves into research about resurrection. Montage or whatever until an alarm rings and the calendar notification reads it's time to get ready for the funeral.

Deaton is also there, and as unhelpful and cryptic as he is, he's also the most knowledgeable in magic, so Stiles grills him. We FUCKING FINALLY explore the whole spark thing that allows Stiles to do magic, as well as a throwback to the link with the Nemeton and their sacrificial deaths which will this time around be more helpful than harmful as it allows easier undetected passage in the realm of the dead.

That's right, baby, we're Orpheus and Eurydice'ing it.

Lydia, as a banshee with the strongest connection to the afterlife, plays an important role in guiding Stiles towards Derek and back again. They plot together and while Lydia is against the idea because it's very very stupidly dangerous, she can't let a good theoretic discussion slide. Also, Stiles is 100% doing this and his odds of success without her help are kind of shit.

His intention is to do another ice bath death, but before that her premonition of the car crash comes to fruition and Stiles dies for real. Lydia feels responsible because she let the thing she tries so hard to avoid happen anyway. It's not that big of a deal, though, since at this point they've got a plan to come back. Just sucks their plan to go there got a bit screwed.

Underworld shenanigans happen, lots of old enemies and allies rear their heads, and Stiles comes back with not just Derek Hale in tow, but the Hale pack. That's right folks, Erica and Boyd LIVE! And hell, while we're at it, might as well get the og pack aka Derek's entire family back lol. Or at the very least Laura. Have some bs magic rule about a soul's decade before reincarnation or something who cares it's teen wolf.

At the end of the movie there's bts footage of everyone lining up to kick jeff davis like that one WoW quest with the single npc that everyone has to murk.

Everybody lives/resurrects, stydia besties, sterek endgame, scott is a bad friend but recovers from that, kira is there even if she's just hanging out and arden cho is paid the most of all the cast

End game

Like all Ed features, End Game is Haylor. (Ed, the O.G. Haylor MVP) it was written a few weeks after HS1 was released. Unlike other Rep songs that were revisited and have Joe references, even when they started before they met. In fact the film clip is overtly Haylor. (below) in the BTS (at 1:55) Taylor’s gets text with a scrabble move, she considers, says it is a 'tight game' and decides to leave the other player suspended. Ed blushes.

When OOTW was released Harry’s IG went B&W for 2 years until he started solo promo, apart from a few scrabble boards (in screaming colour) I have a theory he & Taylor played remotely which is why they are colour and she included this.

I was playing Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, she has a place in Rhode Island, which isn't too far so she hits me up I go around. She plays me what turned out to be Reputation and End Game and I was like man this is I really like, can I do a verse can I like do a rap verse and she was like yeah for sure. So the next day i kind of I remember I was in bed and sort of woke up and i got my laptop out but the song just looped it and I wrote wrote this verse and I went in with max martin who she did the song with and recorded it and then future the verse and then Taylor wrote a verse and then yeah we shot we shot a video".

So it was released a while ago that Louis in the present day has new vampire boyfriend named Rashid who can be seen in the latest BTS footage in the background. I feel really weird about this. Why do I feel weird about this? I mean it's true I want endgame Loustat and I never really read about Louis getting a new lover other than Armand as his companion at different times. Am I forgetting something? Or do you think this is just part of the new drama? We won't know until season 3 minimum?

Yeah I get what you mean, I also prefer loustat obviously. But even in canon thhey take time apart and date other people, so I don't think Louis dating someone else means that loustat won't be endgame. I think based on what we have seen Rolin Jones ships it too. Louis is with Armand at the end of IWTV, it's implied he had a thing with Merrick even tho it was coerced, maybe some Louis/David (they do kiss so I think it is what AR intended even tho 🤢 and "i pretend not to see") and he goes back and lives with Armand after Merrick which some ppl see as Louis and Armand getting back toegther (I see it as Louis taking atrauma coma nap on Armand's couch). There's also just a lot of time in the books in between various events Louis could have seen other ppl as well. I don't think it's out of character

Honestly, I do kind of like the drama of them being away from each other and pining. It makes it that much more impactful when they do reunite (I can just see it now, I'm gonna write SO much pining fanfic 😭) Louis and Lestat sometimes have to go on seperate journeys to grow and change, but they always find each other in the end ❤

Hey, how are you? I am a bit confused, I keep noticing on twitter people talking that Mon-El was supposed to be in the finale way more than he ended up being which was due to the trend the fans made. Is that like officially confirmed? Do we know how much more there was to be of him or what kind of scenes he was supposed to be in? Thank you.

Hi! I’m good, thank you. Ditto. 

Well, there's no way to know for sure. Alas, based on many factors and certain evidence, here's a theory...

I personally don't think he was ever meant to have a large role in the finale simply because, well -- he's just not that important of a character to the show, lol. Despite what the few pockets of remaining fans who do like the show's cringey version of the character may feel or believe, he was sent packing ages ago for a reason, and the awful way they used the character and bad messaging it sent nearly destroyed the show and wasted its prime years. And clearly most media and critics agree, since very few outlets write about him the last four years at all, and when they do it's usually very negative and unflattering, especially when compared to how they write so often and so universally positively about Lena, for example.

So I really tend to believe, much like with the 100th -- though more limited, given how much stuff needed to be crammed into the series finale -- that he was probably always meant to just have a small cameo (I even said ahead of time that his role in the finale was likely to be small, and was proven right), simply for nostalgia. I can also tell you that one of the limited "scoops" I'd heard early on in S6 was that as of early/mid season there was no talk of his return bts, no indication he was coming back that most people bts knew of anyway, and the showrunners even effectively confirmed as much by saying around that same time, "We know how it ends, he's likely not a part of it." (paraphrased). Also important to keep in mind that up to that point, Benoist had said she liked how they planned to end the series. So the belief by some that she possibly requested he be there as endgame or whatever simply doesn’t track. He clearly wasn’t in the early S6 plans to be involved in the end, and she seemed totally fine with that. 

But then something shifted late season, and they seemingly decided relatively last minute (?) to bring him back for a cameo, and/or must have realized the creative direction they were going in the finale made room for his (and Winn's) returns.

That being said, do I think the worldwide anti-Mon-El trend possibly lead to the already small role being reduced even further on the fly for damage control due to the backlash from fans when they realized such a polarizing character was back again? Honestly, kinda yeah.

And hey, maybe that's not accurate, but it seems very plausible. In part because it was a tad interesting how Winn and James were there for the battle, funeral and wedding while he wasn't there for the wedding. And because it seemed based on bts footage that there were more scenes and/or dialogue involving him and the group in that final battle, yet it didn’t make the cut. Also because it seems based on bts pics as well vs the final airing that they possibly shot the funeral scene twice -- and what aired was him saying he had to leave, which makes you wonder if an alternate version had someone inviting him to the wedding. There was even a composer who indicated on Twitter that he was working on the Karamel-related score or something (didn't know they even had one, lol) but we never saw anything epic of them fighting together in battle for more than a blink, nor having a moment at the wedding obviously, nor anything that would warrant any kind of a special 'theme' for them (unlike what Supercorp had in the 100th).

And lastly, it seems interesting how much they really went out of their way to bury that ship forever the way they did, after the trend. As if to say "OKAY, WE HEAR YOU" (finally). They could have had him simply say he's gotta return back to the future and they leave it sorta open ended and upbeat, but they really just had him say with finality "I'll never be back." to kill all potential for that ship forever, and they had Kara barely be phased by it at all and never look back, and that was that, and he was gone easily, and forever. Meanwhile Winn and James were at the wedding and the focus for Kara was on her identity issues (aka the big coming out metaphor) and sharing her final/key moments with Lena and her family/friends, as happy as ever.

TLDR: I think his role was never meant to be that big in the finale either way, but it likely could have been chopped down even further after that trend, especially because they didn't even feature him in the trailer except as a tiny blip in the funeral background. They clearly (finally) realized that his presence was doing more harm than good, and decided to not only not really market it much ahead of time, but also possibly cut it down in filming and editing as well.

Tina about what the buddies thought about taykay I think you forgot something the ones saying how ofc she had changed and she'd never use buck or the 118 again for her job and then in 5x18 the writers were "well she's the same person she was in 2x06" 🤣🤣

What makes it even funnier is that TPTB dropped the "She's changed!" narrative as soon as it was clear we weren't saying goodbye to her anytime soon, aka in season five's premiere. Had they not tweaked TayKay's personality juuust a little bit, her return would have been met with a lot more negativity (as opposed to the casual viewer giving the character a chance and coming to the conclusion that they're bored or MW's acting leaves much to be desired). Gone was the TayKay who showed hesitation when investigating a story that Buck had a connection to - remember how she wasn't sure whether to show Buck the footage of Sue getting hit by the car? Gone was the TayKay who appeared "sympathetic" towards someone else's struggles - no tears on tv, no appreciation for a person that survived a dangerous situation. (What did we get instead? A woman who cared about one thing and one thing only: Being the first to crack a case.) It still blows my mind that people who spend hours overanalyzing dialogue and facial expressions were so blinded by their attraction to TayKay that they couldn't acknowledge her "character growth" wouldn't last as long as BT weren't endgame. What was Buck gonna do? Break up with a woman who seemed "perfect on paper" (as a partner) because he wasn't feeling it? Oh, wait. Eddie already did that. Gotta come up with something new!

And then you have him wearing light colored rollerskates in the episode…. I dont know where I am going with this but do you have any thoughts as to why?

I've seen some conversations around the different colors of the skates or style of the costumes in behind-the-scenes images vs the episode footage in Part 1. My thoughts are similar to ideas that others are discussing: perhaps there will be some scenes in future episodes that aren't entirely accurate memories but rather visions and illusions created by Vecna. Little inconsistencies that serve as a sign that there is a glitch in the Matrix, so to speak. Or maybe it's a simple case of the crew changing the props that they had on set mid-filming at one point ("Look at these cool new skates we got! Let's do another take.") I guess we'll have to wait and see.

The more I think about the three streaming shows, the more I think that they just didn't put in effort for Loki's show. They had to give Wandavision so much effort and passion bc people didn't care about Wanda or Vision bc the movies didn't try to make us care. They had to give TFatWS effort and passion to make audiences accept Sam as the new Captain America. Loki already had a giant fanbase who would watch no matter what. So they didn't have to try as hard.

Those are definitely great points. But I also think it’s more than that tho. Bc the Loki show didn’t just look lazy and low budget and unprofessional compared to the other two shows. It also felt actively hostile to the alleged main character. They actively chose to have the show be about making a fool of the character and depowering him and mocking him and portraying violence against him as funny. I mean c’mon. WTF is this? This is not a scene done in good faith:

And look at how they did his hair & makeup. On the left we have Loki in Endgame, where they tried to make him look exactly like Avengers!Loki. And on the right is Loki in the show where not only did they not make him look like Avengers!Loki but intentionally sabotaged Tom to look bad:

Here below is Tom in real life promoting the show. He looks more like Loki than in the actual series. He also looks better, because he didn’t have a makeup team actively trying to make him look bad. Nor did he have clothes that were badly tailored to fit him poorly, as he had in the show.

Notice a pattern? That’s not just laziness. That’s sabotage. 

And that’s not getting into how his character gets completely sidelined and has no relevance to the plot, has no character arc, is constantly denigrated and mocked by other characters in scenes where the audience is very clearly supposed to be laughing at or rooting against him. It’s not getting into the way the show seems to be aggressively trying to overwrite Thor 2011 and to convince audiences that Tom’s Loki is neither interesting nor worth rooting for. It’s not getting into the way his character was robbed of all dignity. It’s not getting into the way his personality was retconned to line up with many harmful stereotypes about queer men in the very show where he was revealed to be queer and that the entire premise of the show is that it is funny and acceptable when he is brutalized and dehumanized. Or into the many, many other problematic aspects of the show enumerated here by @nikkoliferous.

But the visuals really lay it out. This show was made with hostility by people who, for whatever reason, seemed to actively want this character and actor to look bad and to not appeal to audiences. And they did everything in their power to achieve that. They also wanted to pump up their own new replacement characters Mobius and Sylvie, but they didn’t do a very good job bc they’re not talented. This show was a malicious, bad faith slap in the face to the character, the fans, and even the actor. It’s outrageous.

NWH seems like one of the craziest movie sony-marvel has made since iw/endgame (regarding the multiverse) so I feel like it would be awesome if they made a little BTS movie about the whole process. Apparently they build a set the size of a football field just for one fight scene...It's insane!! I need to see the footage, I need the see the first time Tom met Alfred Molina and Jamie Foxx, it would be amazing !

So it has been confirmed. A verified article has said "returning as series regulars" for season 3 will be Ricky, Gina, EJ, Kourtney, Ashlyn and Carlos, in addition to Jet and Maddox that seem pretty regular to me. Nini and Lily have been confirmed as recurrent characters for season 3. This means that there’s not way they’ll do a Lily x Ricky relationship as a permanent thing. Both of "Ricky’s love interests" are not even segues regulars. Another thing, Val (Meg Donnelly) seems to be there in all episodes as well because she’s been there for all episodes so far given the BTS footage.

One day is jikook, the other day is completely overlapped by vkook. JK said he hugs Jimin then the next day he is embracing Tae. Jikook spent White Day together in the company of friends, then Vkook is doing the same and having dinner together. If JK doesn't hang out at a concert or cuddle in a restaurant with Jimin, but instead he takes his friend everywhere, I don't understand how we can talk about jikook dating each other. Couples primarily spend time together...if they don’t, then there's nothing there. Listen, they have the same schedule, they are in the same place, why they don’t spend their precious time together and choose other people? It’s not logical if they are couple almost impossible. After this week i won’t look at jikook the same. Maybe Jimin has someone in LasVegas with whom he choose to share his fun time. Las Vegas is hella romantic I would understand him.

Okay, Nonie. I mean, it's really okay for you to think that. All you can do is take in evidence from legitimate sources and gut-check it against what resonates based on your own life experiences. That's all we can ask of anyone.

I had serious doubts about Jikook after months of radio silence in the beginning of 2022. It seemed so out of character not to mention each other or be photographed being around each other. I really fretted that they broke up and I went around to older ARMYs' blogs asking for their takes on things. I didn't know this can be normal for Jikook sometimes. I really appreciate the people who were patient enough to respond kindly to me and reassure me of the dynamic over the years.

After seeing the boys at the concert and on White Day and the Grammys, and hearing what JK said about Jimin on his social media this week, I'm certain they are fine. I personally think Jimin has mellowed a bit due to all the online hate he gets (and also being hella focused on the upcoming performances, because he is a perfectionist in the extreme). But I see him still as crazy as ever for JK, and JK still as enamored with Jimin, whether they are dating or not. They touch and tease each other gently, still. They look at each other softly, even after all this time. That lights me up inside.

People who are in a relationship for years don't have to perform romance or do activities together every waking second. It's normal and healthy to have some independence. But also, there absolutely COULD be something to the fact that they aren't as loud as before. Maybe Jimin just doesn't want to deal with the backlash online. Maybe their schedules just don't work out. Maybe they are having a rough patch but being nice for the cameras. Maybe they've just been living in each other's pockets for a decade and love each other madly but could use some space. Maybe TK or Vmin is endgame, or they are all straight as a line, and we have all been clowns. Only the boys know.

Today I'm seeing some behind the scenes footage of PTD Seoul Concert practice sessions on twitter and there's plenty of warmth and affection between the entire maknae line. Vminkook all seem very cool with each other. (See link below.) I trust them not to be fake with each other. The thing that brings me joy is seeing BTS happy and in their element. I LOVE to ship Jikook, but I don't NEED them to prove it to me as real. I'm honestly grateful for all they have shown me up to this point.

So if Jikook doesn't ring true for you (anymore), I'm not going to tell you that you're delulu. I was right there with you a few weeks ago. *hugs* All I can offer you is encouragement to find ways to celebrate what Jimin and Jungkook do share with us, and try not to expect more. We may never ever know what's really going on under the surface. But we can come together as fans and support them as amazingly talented human beings, no matter what their relationship status is, right?

Strange’s smile got more pronounced and more crooked. “Don’t put me in a position where I have to say something that’s going to make you call me insufferable, Odinson.”

Loki rolled his eyes. “You are insufferable.”

Insufferable and really wearing the hel out of that suit.

Clearing his throat, Loki said, “Well. I need to go back in and make sure Thor hasn’t fainted or something.”

“Is he nervous?” Strange asked.

Loki rolled his eyes. “What do you think?”

“Well, I technically don’t know him that well.” Strange arched an eyebrow. “Between the Brothers Odinson, you’re the one I’m really buddy-buddy with.”

Making a face, Loki said, “Please don’t say that.”

Strange laughed. Loki’s stomach did something stupid.

I think it matters that we havent seen if Taylor changed because s2 she wanted to use that footage but wasnt allowed due to lawyers, so would she pick buck or the story. If theres a similar situation. But also buck is tends to see best in people thought she wanted a story and not be there for him. 911 can set up reltionships but they dditn try with them instead she rejected him then changed her mind in emotional situation where neither were thinking clearly.

Though we aren't excited about BT's relationship, I do think there have been tiny hints that they rushed into this thing too soon and will eventually realize they work better as friends. (I don't think they're endgame, but it's not like the writers are trying to convince me otherwise.) - The fact that TayKay had no problem calling Buck "needy" and made him question whether he knew how to be a good friend has me curious whether that type of reaction is going to happen again. Might she say something hurtful in the midst of a disagreement? Are we going to get an idea of what she really thinks when the 'honeymoon phase' wears off? - This is just me thinking thoughts, but the writers made a *choice* to have Buck include Eddie in the treasure hunt when it was supposed to be just he and his friend who is a girl, thus providing evidence that as BT get closer, Eddie will remain a priority, and Buck will "choose him" if it comes to that. I also think it's worth noting that T told Buck he needed to split his winnings with Eddie if they were able to locate the treasure. Yes, that scene was framed in a way that separated Eddie from the budding couple, but her statement actually established that Buck and Eddie are still a team no matter who they're dating. And the fact that T separated HERSELF from them re: her money is hers, but Buck needs to share his with his best friend since he's so important shows that she kinda already knows it's BuckandEddie above all else. - Something about the conversation between BT at Buck’s apartment in 4x12 has stuck with me. She says “I’m a trained journalist. Or at least, I was, before I got caught up in this dumb treasure hunt.” Is there a chance T will realize she’s been so “caught up” in her relationship that she lost sight of what matters the most to her (her career)? It is my opinion that Buck will be doing the breaking up, but only if he recognizes they’re on two different paths. T’s actions and words will help him come to that conclusion.  - Of course, the moment everyone keeps coming back to, Buck’s remark in 4x14 (Uh, no--no comment, Taylor.”) when his gut instinct tells him she’s at the hospital looking for a soundbite. They were supposed to be friends by this point, right? What kind of friendship do they have beyond solving mysteries (Sue’s accident, the treasure hunt) if Buck automatically assumes she’s there for her own gain?  - It’s also significant that Buck was previously seeking physical intimacy from her, and was embarrassed/disappointed after being rejected, but when Eddie’s life is on the line, Buck doesn’t think of anything, or anyone, else. Yeah, she’s at his apartment in the aftermath of Buck getting chewed out at work for the crane rescue, but he’s in the process of packing clothes for his stay at the Diaz house to take care of Christopher. Buck doesn’t initiate the kiss, and though he started to protest her leaving, the second he realizes A*a is calling, the second he realizes Eddie has woken up, he wants nothing more than to be with his best friend.  It’s always been Eddie. It will always be Eddie.
