Pleating
The photos below show the process of creating pleats.
The first images show the 'knife pleat' which I created by folding my fabric into lines every other mark, then flattening and ironing.
The second and third image show the inverted and box pleat, which are the same pleat just different sides. I created this by folding the middle mark into the centre on both ends and pressing with an iron.
I feel that the look these pleats create are very effective, I particularly like the inverted pleat as it can be used to hide a vibrant fabric on the inside that will be revealed when the model moves around.

Fabric Swatch Packs Available Now!!
I know a lot of people have concerns about texture/sensory issues when it comes to synthetic fabrics, so I've put up an option to order -fabric swatches for $1- w/free US stamped mail shipping!
I can totally understand not wanting to commit to a full skirt or jogger purchase if you're not sure about the fabric, and I hope that this will be a good option for anyone that wants a chance to experience the fabric before ordering clothes. I think most people will be pleasantly surprised, in particular by the new "Milk Silk" material that I'm switching over to. Unlike a lot of polyester options, it really is very silky and soft.
And then as for natural fiber skirts, they are in the works!! I'm hoping I can at least get some solid color skirts in a natural fiber figured out in the near future, plus I may be able to offer hand-dyed (by me!) gradients then as well. It'll still be a while longer to get sizing and everything sorted out, as they'll need more sizes than the synthetics to cover the same size range.
Thanks as always for all the support, everyone, especiallly as I go through these growing pains. I truly appreciate it!!

He’s here!!!!! I’m too scared to swap out his head and hands in case I break or lose them so I’m leaving him as he was in the box and keeping the box itself to store the other parts until I figure out what to do with him properly. For now, here he is on my music shelf where my other Ghost figures sit
